It was the first time. I was impressed by the living garden with a fountain! It is very easy to navigate at the airport (there was a transfer). Gazprom's Union pay works in boutiques, no problem. We had a great and comfortable time waiting for our flight.

The airport is simply the most amazing! To say "beautiful" is to say nothing. It's immediately clear that everything was done conscientiously during construction and was not stolen)) The area is huge, inside there is a park with large trees, recreation areas in the park. A huge number of premium brand boutiques, exhibition stands with the latest car models, sculptures, footcourts. A high-speed shuttle train runs through the airport. The area is huge. If my connecting flight was not 1.45, but longer, I would love to walk around this airport slowly for a couple of hours, there is something to see there👍

The staff is Super polite, but the staff who sit at the customs are terribly rude! They act like I'm going to their house personally🫠
It is very cold, about 15 degrees Celsius, so be sure to take warm clothes with you if you have a long transit

I remember this airport back in 2006, when it was one pavilion with a construction site where British prim tourists and seasonal workers from Pakistan sat interspersed.
Now it is a giant airport. Duty-free is probably not as diverse as in Dubai, I did not find several pieces of cosmetics for my wife.
