Отель имеет только один огромный плюс..расположение...здесь хороший пляж, что для хиккадувы роскошь.
Номера в основном старые...есть номера улучшенные, но их мало на 2 этаже только...
Еда на завтраке минимализм в ярком исполнении Азии...рис, вермишель и яйца..чай и кофе все отвратительного качества..
Не стоит заявленных денег...
Не понимаю почему из него не хотят сделать достойный вариант...немного подшаманить с ремонтом, добавить качество сервиса и вуаля...хороший отель был бы..

The impression is twofold. I mentally prepared myself that this was Asia, Sri Lanka, I read about tired rooms in this hotel, I thought I was mentally ready, but alas, it did not help.
A complete disappointment on the first day. I think numbers 103 and 203 should be removed or it should be a separate category. We came across number 103. We arrived in the evening. It's already dark, plus the hotel is shabby and here, like the cherry on the cake, this room. Thanks to the huge cockroach in the bathroom and the non-working Wi-Fi in the room, it was replaced and it became easier for us to perceive reality further. The rooms themselves, furniture, bedding, wardrobe, everything is very old, but on the second or third day you get used to it.
Now about the good things. Having experienced a cultural shock in the evening, you wake up in the morning, see the ocean, drink coffee in the dining room almost on the shore and slowly everything is getting better.
The girls at the reception are nice, tried to help, and always friendly.
The location of the hotel is very good for everything! Bus stop, shop, market, Sunday market, supermarket, various cafes and the hotel itself can be said not on the first, but on the zero line. The beach is great, there are almost no waves, and this is very important in Hikkaduwa, many hotels came and came to us. Whether to come here or not is up to you.

The most terrible hotel that I have seen, I certainly thought that it would not be very good since we took the tour late and there was already nothing to choose from, but that would be such a horror. 1 ) you can choose something for breakfast, which is a plus. 2) the ocean is nearby and that's it! If you want to live in a cave, then you're here, peeling beds, if you lift your head above the pillows, then your hair will definitely get tangled because all the varnish has peeled off and sticks out like splinters, the air conditioners are rattling, there's nothing in the room that doesn't dry, there's not even a place to dry things, I'm already silent about the refrigerator and the hair dryer. the toilet in the hallway is just a super hood. The room stinks of old things or urine, I couldn't understand, and the cherry on this cake is the view of the barrels that are also rattling, I asked to change the room, they were ready to pay any amount to give a better room, changed it, gave it to a room further, but the situation is not The only thing that changed was to stay away from the barrels. As for the hotel itself, everything is old and shabby, dirt everywhere is scary to sit down, not only on the street, but even in the lobby!

The hotel is completely captured by Russian tourists, it feels like I'm in Anapa or Sochi. The sun beds by the pool are already full of towels early in the morning. Breakfast is very very meager and it's the same every day. The only advantage is the proximity of the sea, things, sneakers can be left on the hotel grounds and immediately dive into the ocean. It's a long walk to the beach with turtles, and you can take a tuk tuk for 200 rupees.

We just returned from this hotel. We had a rest from 14.03. In general, the hotel is not bad. The location is excellent, the pool is clean, the breakfasts are delicious, the staff tries their best. The child had a birthday, they congratulated him, brought a cake. Rice or pasta was brought for breakfast without any problems, without anything for the child.
The only thing is that the hotel needs renovation, it is of course just tired. We had a room with an ocean view, we got a room on the 3rd floor, without renovation. Well, they're just scary! Upon check-in, they were just horrified, they refused to change the room, it seems like everything is booked. In general, there is a lot of confusion with these rooms, everyone who is settled in rooms without repair, of course, was waiting for other rooms. Such a gorgeous view from the window to the ocean, but you can't see anything through these windows, the glass is so dirty. They swept, made the bed, replenished the water every day. They left rupees to the cleaner, made beautiful different figures out of towels, the child liked it.
And yet, we haven't slept for the last 4 nights until 2 a.m., because some kind of event is taking place for the locals, the music is rumbling so that the walls are shaking. Apparently there is some kind of place for holidays nearby. The audibility from the street is excellent.

Great, but not big rooms. Cleaning is a three-piece job. The balconies are very dirty. The rooms are fresh. The beach in front of the hotel is not very good, just for walking. There is a fish market nearby . Unyvatuna Beach is 10 minutes away by tuk tuk.

This is the first hotel in the history of travel that accommodates a room with torn bed linen and such an old bed.And a separate story about the toilet -I had to call 2 times while the smell was fixed.... And what exactly made me put 2 stars wiped the floor after repairing the toilet with bath towels!.But the food for breakfast is meager, only delicious fruits and yogurt are positive.The elevator and air conditioning are working properly.The water in the taps must be drained for a long time before it becomes warm.From the consumables, only 2 small pieces of soap are given.There is gel in the bathroom.Towels are changed after a reminder.Room cleaning consists only of sweeping the floor.Tables and other furniture are not wiped.There is a kettle and a fridge.A hair dryer is provided, but it is weak and on request.The staff is trying to help.There are few sun beds near the pool.The hotel does not have a green area.From the door you will immediately enter the roadway.All rooms in the city face a nearby road with active traffic.On the positive side , the staff tries to quickly fix the shortcomings .But the question is why allow them? And a beautiful view of the sea.The overall impression is depressing.And I also do not recommend ordering anything at the Neptune restaurant next to the hotel.The food is tasteless and expensive.The service is poor.There is a fish market nearby where there is a wide variety of fruits and seafood and for 400 rupees they will cook for you.And there are 2 supermarkets in the city.

We came to this hotel for 12 days. In general, we were satisfied, the main thing for us was the first line, and here the beach is really as close as possible. You leave the food zone and there it is, sand and a beautiful ocean. The busy beach at the hotel is not too big, there was always a place if you are not a fan of large crowds. The breakfasts in general were quite appetizing, without pretensions to any culinary masterpieces, but for three stars it was quite worthy.
The rooms are modest wooden furniture, the mattress is comfortable enough, not sagging. The wi-fi download speed is not too high, so if you are considering this hotel and you need a good Internet connection, say for work, take it into account. On weekends, parties are held, a DJ comes to entertain the guests and others, there were not many people, because we arrived at the end of the season (April 2023) in general, I recommend this hotel

For Hikkaduwa, it's probably a good hotel, BUT the staff is something, no one is in a hurry, the furniture in the rooms is tired, we found out about the fact that a kettle was put in the room 4 days after check-in, then they begged, they clean the rooms so-so, then they forget to put toilet paper, then soap. But it's not about the hotel at all, Sri Lanka itself, the ocean, nature make a vacation unforgettable no matter what, even at the hotel.

A huge plus in the super beach is that on the 6th day of our stay, after a few days of negotiations, we changed the room to a suite and it became much more comfortable to live, but there are many BUTS.
1. One towel is given per guest.
2. There are no towels for the feet, so the restroom was always all in water
3. They didn't change the towel after the previous tenants, but just hung it up as clean (it's just awful! You never know what you can pick up like that!)
4. The room and the restroom were poorly cleaned
5. The bed has almost never been changed
6. For 9 days of rest, the beach towel was snatched only on the 6th day.
7. Breakfasts are meager and monotonous. Every day it's the same without any changes at all. Coffee, if you can call it coffee, is terrible.
8. There are no means of protection in the room from mosquitoes and midges, whose bites itch all night.

The hotel has 3 room categories: with an old renovation and a view of the walls/beams with a piece of the ocean between them; new rooms with pool and ocean views; new suites with bathroom windows and direct ocean views. When choosing a room category, you can check on the booking so that your expectations and reality coincide)
The new rooms are super! There is a hair dryer, refrigerator, kettle; floor-to-ceiling glazing, huge beds, bathrooms with small windows on top or with a window to the room, in short it's cool))
In the old rooms, everything is very old and it is dark there because of the exit to the beams and not panoramic windows, but you can also live. The bed and towels are clean and super))
You'll always find something to eat at breakfast, but it's not that wow. Fruits are always fresh, egg dishes are cooked to order with you, you will not go hungry.
Food prices are higher than in cafes, so it's better to go to other places for lunch and dinner
In the hotel itself, you can take ice cream, there is a huge rook with fruits and additives, a dump of everything
The lobby is tired, but you will only be sitting there outside by the ocean, which compensates for the old pillows
There are all kinds of animals, in the new room I observed only small midges that encroached on open food or traces of fruit, and for 2 days of life in the old one I got acquainted with geckos, mosquitoes and ants that did not touch me, but when a giant cockroach decided to share a bed with me……
In short, be prepared and your loyalty to animals will increase by 3 days and you will stop noticing them all (except cockroaches..)
The beach is normal to the left of the hotel, a sunbed under beautiful wicker roofs is 1000 rupees, you can not buy juice, if you buy food for 5000 rupees, then it is free (for April 2023)
Do not swim on the beach to the right of the hotel, there are strong waves and currents, the woman was swept into the ocean, they went to rescue
But the beach is really the best in Hikkaduwa, even locals come here to swim
Near the Hikka tranz hotel, small turtles are released at 6 pm almost every day, a little further on the cape there are large turtles that can be fed with algae
Just come to this hotel and walk along the beach around, there's a top!
By the way, in some establishments, 10% of the tip is thrown on top of the check, somewhere right in the menu it is indicated
You definitely need to eat: roti, cotta, fried bananas, desserts with ice cream and fruits, and all kinds of seafood, of course
Change money at the airport in the central exchanger immediately at the exit
Buy a sim there, well, or in Hikka, very cheap and you can safely be in touch with maps all over the island (you may not catch in the mountains or on the road, but this is also the case in Russia)
Take your time to take excursions from the tour operator, first find out the prices from the guide at the hotel and then in the shops along the street, you can find prices for the same excursions 2 times tastier))

Go surfing in Galle, prices range from $ 15-40 depending on who you find and through what))
Go diving on a Hikka in Barracuda - there are Russian cool guys divers, it costs $ 110 to go to sunken ships, you can take a photo video for $ 20, emotions are a cannon tower!
The top tea (according to the locals, the only original in Hikka) is in front of our hotel by the way! There a man speaks Russian, will give you a sniff and pick up what you want, the price is 500-600 rupees, there are different grams, in translation it turns out not expensive and you can bring everyone as a souvenir because tea is heavy and does not take up much space
There are a lot of shops nearby in the radius of the hotel along the street, from the fruit market and a cheap supermarket (it's a little further from the market)
With prices here, of course, they heat up fiercely, so double-check in different places, bargain (they don't really like it, but it's more profitable for them to throw off than not to sell at all)

A wonderful hotel for its stars! The location is great! The beach is the best on the coast! The staff always comes forward if you don't like something.
