We had a rest with a friend from August 26 to September 3, 2024. The hotel is perfectly located - on the highest part of the Bodrum peninsula, next to the landmark "windmills of Bodrum". The place is very popular with both locals and tourists for watching absolutely stunning sunsets. The center of Bodrum can be reached on foot if you are a good walker, or you can take a taxi. The fare is 150 t.l. to the marina and 250 t.l. to the fortress. The hotel has recently joined the Holiday Inn chain, in this regard, the training and professionalism of the main part of the staff is questionable. We cleaned the room carelessly, we had to periodically leave notes with requests or contact the reception with complaints. There are no complaints about the staff at the reception. Two of them speak excellent Russian, are polite, and are as friendly as possible. I especially want to mention Archan - intelligent, amiable, with a wonderful sense of humor. He checked us in, and immediately upon early arrival at the hotel - at 9 am! He also evicted us - he sent an employee for suitcases, sent the luggage to the storage room, since check-out was in the afternoon. The hotel is located on a high mountain, and the terrace goes down to the sea. To facilitate the fate of vacationers, in addition to the steepest stairs, a funicular and 2 elevators are provided - one descends from the restaurant to the pool, the other from the pool to the beach. I've never seen anything like this anywhere else! The beach is large and quite wide, with wooden decking and stairs to descend into the sea. The sea is clean and calm due to the location of the hotel in the bay. The views that open from different parts of the hotel are simply incredible. The food at the hotel is quite varied, but without frills. During the entire stay, there was never any seafood, meat and chicken, fish - in different types. Lots of fruits - watermelons, melons, figs, peaches, grapes, etc. Everything is of good quality. For breakfast and dinner there is an abundance of various cheeses, from soft to semi-hard. As I said earlier, the service is lame. This applies to cleaning, waiters, and bartenders with baristas. There are many Turks staying at the hotel: whole families, couples.. Of course, the staff treats their own more carefully, it immediately catches the eye. In general, the rest was a success if you close your eyes to some flaws in the work of the staff
LOCATION
Top! The city of Bodrum is a 20-minute walk with steep views. It is more convenient to return by taxi (150 liras), because it is uphill.
THE HOTEL
is located on a hill, 10 floors: 5 in the main building, 5 in the street part (where the club rooms and restaurants are located)
That is, if you need to get to the beach from the reception, you first take the elevator down from the 5th floor to the 1st in the main building, go outside, and then either go down the steps about 5 floors down, or wait for the funicular (it is slow) and go down with all stops to the 1st level. But there are still steps (20 pieces) from it to the beach.
Therefore, if you have sore knees / small children / stroller / any other nuances, just be prepared that you will spend time waiting for elevators, funiculars, etc. Since the funicular was in service at all (did not work), we walked. these steps/elevators didn't bother us.
ROOMS
• Club rooms - in separate buildings, outbuildings, as separate houses. Located below the main building (closer to the beach). Here, who will be lucky or how well you ask)) we got a nice room on the 3rd level (there seem to be 6 in total) with a view of the bay. The numbers were updated in 2019, judging by the info on the website. The room is ordinary. No frills.
• Large comfortable bed, pillow menu, smart TV, mini bar filled (used soda, beer) mirror with a table for cosmetics, bedside tables, safe (free of charge), wardrobe with hangers, shower, toilet, air conditioning, micro balcony, you won't go out on it much, but you can dry things there. The room has an ironing board, iron, hair dryer, hygiene products.
• The room area is small, but considering that we only come here to sleep, we are fine.
• The main building of the standard room is more spacious: there is a sofa and a dressing room type place where suitcases can be conveniently placed. Everything else is the same. It cost significantly more, we decided not to overpay and lived in the clubhouse.
TIP: when checking into the club room, pay attention to the presence of noise outside the window. At levels 1-4 on the left, a generator can be heard around the clock, because of this we moved to level 6. Or take earplugs with you. Also, when checking in, check if there is a leak under the sink/ toilet, whether the pillows are comfortable. It's better to solve all this first.

Not perfect, but normal. Cleaning is irregular, every 2-3 days, you need to be reminded, call the reception. They regularly forgot to report either tual paper or towels. But everything was solved by calling the reception. Cotton pads, shower gel, shampoo, balm are better to take your own. It's difficult to replenish here.
INFRASTRUCTURE
• the pool is small, 100-120 cm depth of the adult part, the children's part - I did not look.
• there is a shop on site, you can buy chips/sweets/ hygiene products
• there is a table tennis table and billiards, darts, table football. The quality suffers, everything is killed, but for the sake of fun it is normal.
• sauna, hammam, gym is not bad with exercise equipment, even for Pilates there is special equipment. I did not find yoga mats, but in the "Pilates zone" the coverage is normal, you can do it without a mat. Towels, shower gel, water are provided.
•volleyball court on the sand, games at 11 and 16, gathering on the beach
• there are many tables and sofas on the territory where you can sit and relax with a beautiful view
• you will not stay hungry, a snack bar and cafes, bars and a pastry shop are open during the day
• there are sun beds, towels, hammocks, umbrellas on the beach. Everything is convenient. The beach is a pier, entering the water either by jumping or by climbing a ladder.

I'll attach the cafe's schedule. if you don't eat every day in Moscow restaurants, then the local food should satisfy you.
• Breakfast: fresh vegetables, cheeses, cold snacks such as eggplant/ zucchini/ chickpeas/beans and some other things. Lots of sauces: yogurt, garlic, tomato. Spices. Boiled eggs, omelets, eggs in bell pepper, mushrooms with cheese baked, tomatoes with cheese baked, sausages, sausages (a little). There are baked such tubes with cheese from the dough, very tasty and fatty. There are cups with yogurt and oatmeal + fruits. A bunch of cereal/chocolate balls with milk/yogurt. Fresh bread. The buns are sweet/filling. Pancakes + all sorts of jams / toppings. Boiled vegetables. Tea/ coffee/ soda, juices. The coffee is of average quality.
Lunch: everything is the same as at breakfast, but without eggs and omelets. There are also: rice, pasta, baked potatoes, French fries, grilled chicken, grilled beef patties, vegetable stew or mushroom separately. Everything is delicious. A million desserts of all kinds: cakes, baklava, etc. But they are average in quality. It didn't go well for us. Fruits: watermelon, melon, plum, orange, apple, grape, fig, banana, once there was a strawberry. The most delicious: oranges and plums.
•Dinner: about the same as for lunch. Additionally, there are Turkish tortillas with cheese or minced meat. There is also grilled white fish. Very bony, but delicious. Also, there is always some kind of "dish of the day" for dinner. Once it was all sorts of fried things like onion rings and deep-fried mussels. The other day there were snacks with small shrimp. Another day - mussels. There was a red fish.
There is also a pasta station at dinner: bolognese / pesto / cheese / with turmeric. It is prepared in front of you to order and it takes quite a long time to wait for it.
•late dinner: from 23:30 they give night soup, we haven't tried it, we don't know what kind of soup.
On the territory from 12 to 16, it seems, they give street food: hot dogs, shawarma, quesadilla with chicken, French fries, ice cream, cookies, desserts, cold and hot drinks. There are bars that also seem to be open all the time.
ALCOHOL
is an ultra-all-inclusive concept, alcohol is also included. We don't drink much, but we saw that the alcohol was poured normally. Jack Daniels Whiskey, Red Label. Olmeca tequila. Captain Morgan rum. Absolut vodka. The wines are quiet local, not very far gone.
animation
Unobtrusive: there is aqua aerobics in the sea at certain times, water or beach volleyball at 11 and 16. Very friendly and sociable animation team Jack and Vika. We organized parties on the yacht at 23:00 at sea, sailing to the island and back, but we did not go there. In the evening, a DJ plays on the terrace or there is live music, which the whole hotel gathers to)) atmospheric.
On the whole, it is quite calm. If you want active animation for adults / children with music and contests every evening - there is definitely no such thing. And that's fine.
The staff
is all friendly, ready to solve all your problems. We have not encountered rudeness.

The purest, crystal, swimming with fish, the purest water that I have met on the seas. There are saps for a fee, riding a board behind a boat, riding inflatable things at high speed.
In general, in my opinion, a great hotel for your money.
Half of my vacation has passed, so I feel free to write my review.
1) The staff is super friendly, there are Russian speakers. Always and everyone helped us with a smile on our face.
2) The food is delicious, the choice is large. There are also several snack bars on the beach where you can get pizza, burgers, sweets and so on. Everything is fine with drinks too, everything is delicious.
3) Our room was small (club), but nevertheless comfortable. Cleaning was done every day. Bed linen, towels - everything is clean. The mini bar was also replenished daily.
4) There are a large number of sun beds on the beach, we absolutely calmly found free every day. The sea is amazing, blue, and the purest.
5) Swimming pool on the territory of 1, adult and children are combined. Everything is fine too, clean.
6) The views are gorgeous) there are not enough words to describe them)))
7) The hotel is located close to the city center, we often went for a walk.
We like everything very much. Special thanks to the staff! I think we'll come back here again)

But the animators set the fun, invite you to discos on the ship and in clubs.

I recommend the hotel, but there are nuances. We arrived early, at 9:00 we were already settled. We lived in a bungalow on the 1st floor. The room is not large, but it is quite normal for two people. A large terrace or even its own territory with chairs and a table. If the 2nd floor is in a bungalow, then there is a tiny balcony. The linen and towels are clean. The bed is comfortable. Cleaning - as luck would have it, someone did not clean at all, people complained. The hotel is mountainous, there are a lot of stairs. But at each level there are benches, sofas, you can relax while climbing. There is a funicular. The beach is great. The sea is gorgeous. The views are gorgeous. There are no questions about nutrition. But the breakfasts are monotonous. If you want a quiet rest and tranquility, while not being afraid of stairs, you can safely come! Convenient location, 30 minutes walk to the center.
It's a beautiful place. The sea is extraordinary. The hotel is good. The food is good, the restaurant is cool, 2 cafes on the beach, a cafe with ice cream and sweets. Bars by the pool, on the beach and in the lobby. The rooms are cozy.
But! There are many stairs.
And rumservice leaves much to be desired. They don't take it away from the word at all! Only the garbage is taken out.
We checked in earlier, in a room with a sea view, in the main building on the 4th floor (total - 5 floors). The view from the window is a fairy tale.
But!
The hotel is still 4 stars, not 5. There are no stars on the hotel itself at all.
The room is small (about 24 sq.m.) even for 2 people, and we were 3 adults. The staff forgot that there were three of us - towels were left for 2 people.
The room has a large bed and a sofa
Bed linen on the sofa was not initially given, I had to call the reception several times.
On the very first night, a guest appeared in our room - a huge flying Turkish cockroach in the bathroom, then the same one appeared at the window. We sounded the alarm - we called the reception and went there to have our room processed. They wanted to relocate us, but it remained in words. Two times, however, wine and fruit were brought to the room. Although, maybe this is the usual service in this hotel, I don't know.
On 31.07 at 7.00, on 01.08 at 19.30 there was no water.
The room needs to be repaired. We were told that in 2022 we wanted to innovate this hotel, but we didn't.
In the bathroom , the taps in the shower should be changed - they are already very dilapidated .
Of the disadvantages, there is also a very hard sofa, like a stone - it is impossible to sleep, they asked to change the sofa to a bed, but they refused to take out the sofa, and offered to put an extra bed, but there was nowhere to put it because of the small size of the room.
I will also note the poor cleaning of the room, we moved the sofa away, but the staff only removed the garbage, and the dirty stains remained.
On the plus side: Wifi worked well everywhere
It should be taken into account: The hotel is located on a mountain, on different levels of the room, in the main building there are rooms with sea views, there are steps everywhere, there are elevators, including to the sea, but they will have to wait a long time, you will still have to walk up the steps, which should be borne in mind for elderly people - this may be a problem
The food is ordinary, almost the same every day, in the lobby we really liked lahmajun - a thin flatbread with a thin layer of minced meat and tomato sauce, on the beach at the cafe ice cream is delicious, cakes, coffee, especially iced caramel latte.
The sea is wonderful, it is cleaned of twigs all the time, so it is clean, transparent, you can see a lot of fish - you can go into the sea by steps and where it is deep and where it is shallow. You can play water volleyball every day, and sometimes they arrange water aerobics.
In short, the price is very high, in my opinion, by 2 times.
We have been staying at this hotel since October 3.
Of the advantages, I will note:

It became a minus for me personally
The rooms are old, they obviously haven't been repaired for a long time. In our room, the shower did not drain, the air conditioner did not work. It was very noisy, so it was impossible to sleep with the window open. The next day they moved in without any problems, but the room is the same dead one. By the middle of the night, the air conditioner began to make eerie noises, I had to turn it off at one o'clock in the morning and open the window.
The food is ordinary, almost the same every day. But the biggest disadvantage is that they over-salt 80% of the dishes.
The plates and utensils are all dirty, you constantly have to wipe them with napkins. Very often, old unwashed food was left on the plates
We also came across the fact that after 3 days of rest they moved their lunches to the snack bar and started feeding everyone with hamburgers and French fries, when we asked what about the lunches, they replied: there are few guests, so eat fast food. I was shocked. The only thing that was achieved was some fruit for lunch. Therefore, we were without lunch for the rest of the vacation
Keep in mind that there are steps everywhere, there are elevators, including to the sea, but they have to wait a very long time, you will still have to walk up the steps.
The hotel is very poorly cleaned, everything is dirty. A couple of times I had to follow the staff to ask them to clean the toilet on the beach
Another disadvantage for me was the constantly playing (loud enough) music on the beach. After a few hours, my head starts to ache from this rumble. If you like peace and quiet, then on the beach you need to go to the rental counter, the music is also playing there, but quieter.
In my opinion, the hotel is absolutely not worth the money. We have never seen worse service and infrastructure conditions. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I stayed at this hotel in 2017. I really liked it, so the choice of a hotel in 2024 was obvious. The hotel has been renovated. The rooms are very cozy. The Internet is available throughout the hotel. The staff is very friendly. There are no problems with communication
The food is excellent. The sea is warm and clean.
About half of the vacation at this hotel has passed. The location and views are excellent, the evening music overlooking the night city, the bay with drifting yachts and the stone walls of Peter's Castle are pleasing to the eye. The sea is clear, the sky is beautiful, the sun shines from morning to evening. It's about the pros. Now I dare, being still half of my vacation at this hotel, to point out the disadvantages:
1) cleaning leaves much to be desired. Human hair on the floor at check-in, refrigerator not working, shower faucet running. Like a little thing....
2) If you are a drinker and like cocktails, then they do not know how or do not want to make cocktails here. A lot of alcohol and little pleasure. Good quality alcohol, just follow the technological map, not the call of the soul. In general, we need to work hard on the service.
3) The views of the bay while eating at the main outdoor restaurant are impressive. Sparrows at breakfast are forced to keep their ears sharp and not leave the plate unattended. But this is life and everyone has to fight for their food. But for dinner, if you decide to sit closer to the sea in the open air, a swarm of wasps will arrive, which also apparently want to eat. At first, the waiter may not let you sit at the table. But if suddenly there is no waiter nearby, and the table is empty, do not sit down, because you will not get pleasure from eating. This is a big minus, because it is dangerous for health and recreation, the hotel needs to fight this, most likely there are hives nearby and they need to be destroyed.
4) If you like sports, there is a gym here. But there is a complete lack of air conditioning and ventilation leaves much to be desired . Imagine that you are a mountain river where midgets go rafting on their midget kayaks. And you just went into the gym and started warming up. At the same time, it is worth noting that the hammam in the hotel is free, this is a plus.
5) I won't say anything bad about food, everything is individual here. Trout is standard for dinner, 2-3 types of meat products. You won't stay hungry, but on the third day everything got boring.
I don't want to spoil someone's vacation, maybe I'm boring. In general, I wish everyone peace, get high in life, please yourself and your loved ones.
The most disgusting hotel I've ever been to! And my mom, too... we are here now.
We have been vacationing in Turkey for more than 20 years, we always choose only very good 5* hotels, always. In September, I traditionally relax with my mother, this time we chose a hotel in Bodrum, since my mother has never been here. As soon as we entered it, we immediately saw the utter unsanitary conditions and the terrible quality of the food. The rooms do not wash or vacuum the floors at all, there is dust everywhere, only towels are changed and that's it. Towels are also stained, that is, they are not even washed by them. The sink and toilets are not washed either. The corridors are washed in the middle, like it will do.
The food in the dining room (I can't call it a restaurant) is terrible, only after we complained to Coral Travel and guest Relay (in English!), they began to add stewed vegetables and different types of meat to the food. When we stopped by, there was only chicken and kebabs, everything was overcooked, salted, peppered. Everything is fried on margarine, all dishes have a terrible taste. There are no croissants, sausages, sausages and bacon at breakfast, there is none of this at all, at 5*, seriously?? The plates and utensils are all dirty, you constantly have to wipe them with napkins. If you don't ask for imported alcohol, they won't give it to you.
The mini bars are always empty, even upon check-in! And they are never replenished, ultra all inclusive, right?
The towels on the beach are all smelly and worn, and in general they are not even for the beach. At the reception they say, "we don't have enough staff, they quit. Well, this is Bodrum, what do you want?" Is it okay that we paid a decent amount for 2?? It's none of our business.
The only plus is the sea and the views, the architecture of the hotel, EVERYTHING. If you travel often and are used to quality and normal service, NEVER choose this hotel!!!

A great hotel with good service and a friendly environment. The hotel is more for a holiday without children.You practically didn't have them. It was 14.98.2024 , for two people two days before departure 220000. 7 days.
We rested from 7.07 to 17.07.2024. When buying a tour in Moscow, we counted on the fact that this is a 450 tour, but in fact the price is 100 for four ...
We arrived at the hotel around 12 o'clock in the afternoon, the hotel undertakes to check in at 15:00 ... In fact, the first version of the room was given to us at 16:00, taking into account what we had on our hands a one-year-old child. The first room- it was a quiet horror- in the main building on the 4th floor. There are shoe prints on the walls, holes in the floor, plumbing, to be honest, I haven't seen this for a long time... It's scary to enter the bathroom. There's mold on the walls.
Then they changed several rooms for us and eventually gave us a better room than the first one - for Turkey, it's probably not very confident three stars. But we checked in only after we had done at least some general cleaning in the room.
And they settled us in at 18:50... Without apologizing a bit.
The room was not cleaned, only if you yourself demand five times at the reception. but three times we were lucky and the cleaning was done - and each time we were given two towels for 4 people. And the senior shift saw perfectly well that there were 4 of us. And every time she reluctantly said that towels would be brought to us. There is no shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom- they have run out- they cannot replenish- they do not know how to remove the jars from the wall. By the way, tea and coffee have never been replenished either. Consider - there is no cleaning!
The next quest is the path to the beach. We need to follow the FIVE elevators. Two of which never worked. We always did exercises - how nice it is to move a stroller with my son up five floors in the open sun at +35.
The buffet is quite meager - for breakfast meat sausage "nedelka" - it seems to me that it has been lying in a heated dish for at least a short time. The dishes are dirty, the appliances are dirty too. The floors are greasy. Baby chairs can be used after washing them in the toilet. Coffee and tea are the norm, as in the dining room.
There are no complaints about the beach and the sea at all - you can always find a place, the water is clean and transparent. Although the Turks laid a fly in the ointment here and there was a garbage dump on the left side of the beach outside the gate - and one day it was not taken out - landslides of garbage bags crawled through the gate to the beach area - the smell and the number of flies freed this part of the beach from people.

The hotel checks out at 12:00. We started in the middle of the holiday asking if it was possible to extend the stay in the room since we have a small child! The Russian-speaking reception staff first said that this should be discussed in the morning before checking out. The night before the check-out, we were told that it was impossible to extend our stay until 19:00! The whole hotel is occupied. In any case, go to the pool. And our flight was scheduled for 23 hours with a penny. We have entered the position, it is clear that the season. If you are ready to move into a holiday home from the mid-90s and every day constantly win back your right to at least some rest - choose this Hotel. We're not going there anymore! We have never seen worse service and infrastructure conditions!
Good afternoon! This is the worst trip I've ever had! It's not worth a single ruble!
We arrived at the hotel at 08:00 in the morning, respectively, we were not checked in, we approach the reception at 15:00, when it should be check-in time, but we are not checked in, they say the ROOM IS NOT READY YET!!! We were checked in around 17:00!! Words cannot describe the fatigue of waiting for a room after a night flight.
Then we come to the room and assume that "we will finally go to rest," which we get as a result:
1)the bed is not made
2) the phone does not work (the reception said that YOU CALL IF SOMETHING IS WRONG), I wonder if it is not?
Every time we had to go to the reception (go up several floors down the street, then several floors in the building itself, it's inconvenient, as you know, Bodrum is located on a hilly area, our room was downstairs and it was far to go to the reception), to solve all these problems!!! Which were not solved!!! It feels like we've been checked in at the reception. Agree, there is no smell of rest.
3) There is NO shampoo, shower gel, TOILET PAPER!!! For a moment, the hotel is not cheap! In the shower stall, an empty shower Gel bottle with a wall mount is lying on the floor (that is, three bottles of shampoo, shower gel and conditioner should be attached to the wall, but one of them was on the floor. On the comments from the first day, so that it was attached to the place, we received the answer "yes, they will come to you," but no one came. As a result, it was broken and lay on the floor all our time living there.
4) It is very dusty and dirty, someone else's hair is scattered. The room needed a general cleaning! Which we did not wait for!!Someone decided to leave a book for us, it's all said how the rooms are cleaned. We sincerely do not understand why we waited so long for our room to be "cleaned" when, as a result, no cleaning was carried out from previous guests.
And, oh my God, a miracle happened, they finally heard us, we thought. They cleaned up on the penultimate day! Thanks for that, as they say)))
5) Pastel linen does not fit… The duvet cover is not tucked in and is much larger than a blanket, the sheets are half the size of a bed. It all looked ridiculous. During the entire stay, our pastel linen was changed once! And then it happened after we literally brought one of the employees to our room. Although we talked about it all the time! Every time we leave the room, we go to the reception and ask to do the same things. But we come and nothing changes…
6) for breakfast, lunch and dinner, we celebrated a wake, such an atmosphere was created by the staff. About 1% of the entire staff could smile at the meeting and say hello. Otherwise, we had to watch their sad and unhappy faces, as if we had come to eat at their house without an invitation. This created a negative atmosphere.
7) Animators also work in their hotel, this is a story that we will remember for a long time! (By the way, the animator's only job is to invite people to a club or a boat party. We decided to go with them to the street of bars. We were told that we would be able to visit several establishments, and it costs $ 15 per one. Attention! We paid money for it. As a result, we couldn't go to a bar or club along the way, which attracted us. We were led to a certain place. Well, all right. They probably know they're taking us to the best place on the street. But we didn't like it there and we wanted to go to another place. We tell the animator that let's go somewhere else. To which he replies that we can't leave because the owner of the place will swear, we need to dance here for another hour!" . That is, they brought the girls to a certain institution so that they could stand and dance there. I thought it was called an escort and girls get paid for it. But for some reason we also paid for it.
But we thought that was it, the adventures were over and we would safely get home. But Bodrum decided to leave unforgettable memories of itself, the hotel contributed to this.
And so what happened to us when we checked out of the hotel!
We had already packed our bags at 11:50, it was still 30 minutes before lunch, we went to the reception and asked to pick up our suitcases. Then they were sent to enjoy the last moments in Bodrum. Accordingly, we got acquainted in advance at what time the transfer would arrive for us, it was at 16:45. At 16:15 we went to the lobby of the hotel to pick up things from a suitcase and change clothes. We approach and are told that our suitcases are still in the room, that we have been lost and we need to pay 4,000 lira or $90 for a late check-out. To which we were outraged. As they started saying at the reception that they came in at one o'clock in the afternoon, looked at our suitcases and just left. They said that they called us, we don't have missed calls, oh, I forgot, they probably called a broken phone, which they never did to us! We refused to pay until the last moment, we thought the tour operator would help resolve this issue, we were waiting for her, but this is a separate story, which we will return to later. As a result, our suitcases were taken away and they didn't want to give us back until we paid. We were held hostage by circumstances. The hotel refused to listen to us, they only had their own point of view on everything that was happening! The staff does not communicate with each other, as a result of which a new person came to the reception and says that he does not know anything and no one has passed anything to him. This is lawlessness! We had to pay because the transfer refused to wait for us and help resolve this issue!

But about everything in order.
It was an extremely difficult year, I wanted to have a great rest and not think about anything.
The choice fell on Turkey, which I have visited more than once, but not in Bodrum. After a long study of hotels in the price range

Although the guide painted the hotel quite well and sold it as a five, and almost everywhere it is listed as a five-star. Plus, the system attracted me
Ultra All Inclusive - I wanted to completely relax and not think about anything. But it was a total mistake. I had to think and figure it out at every step.
Our arrival was late in the evening on September 23rd. We arrived at the hotel about
22:20. We were met by an unfriendly guy named Yusuf, one of the few who speaks and understands Russian. We immediately asked if we could arrange dinner, as they do in normal hotels for late check-in, or at least have something to eat, since we were hungry.
To which he replied that they did not have such a service and they did not give out "dry rations", but offered to try the night soup, which was served in the dining room until 1 a.m.
My mom and I were shocked by this offer, but decided to just check in for now. And then the show began.
Yusuf called a boy over and explained something to him for a long time in Turkish. It was obvious from the boy's face that he clearly didn't like it. Then there was silence. I asked: "Are we going to be settled or not? Yusuf replied that yes, the boy would show us out, giving him a glance.
The boy dejectedly took our suitcases, and we followed him. By the way, at that moment we were the only ones who checked in, and Yusuf was not busy with anything else.
The boy first took us to one elevator, where we went down one floor, then to another, where we went down from the 5th floor to the 1st. It should be clarified that the hotel itself is located on a hill, and to get to the room, you must always go down, even if the room is located in the main building, not to mention the club rooms.
We bought a club room, which our agent showed in the picture, but, believe me, except for the most extreme row to the sea, they do not correspond to reality.
This boy spoke neither Russian nor English and just walked forward with our suitcases, not bothering to check if we were following him. Soon we left the main building and walked further into the black darkness along the stone steps. The lanterns shone very faintly, and it was barely visible what was happening below.
The boy left one suitcase and went downstairs without explanation. Let me remind you that there are four more floors ahead, in addition to those that we passed by elevator. These floors are levels hollowed out in the hill with several houses on each. It was possible to climb or descend to them by huge inconvenient steps, which at that time were practically not illuminated. We felt uneasy at the same time.
Imagine: it's completely dark, and you're following a Turkish boy, two girls have already left the hotel, and he keeps walking on with your things, leaving one suitcase on the way.
He was gone for 3, 5, 8 minutes... We started to panic. He returned without the second suitcase and walked in the other direction, holding the cards from our room in his hand.
He ignored all my attempts to speak to him in English or Russian. Obviously, he doesn't know them.

After 10 minutes, he returned, and we, tired after the flight and the move, followed him again, this time to the left. There were steps again, then another left turn, and more steps. My mother stayed with the second suitcase, as the boy simply did not take it. I was scared-I didn't know who I was walking with in the dark.
Finally we came to some shabby white houses. The number started at 6.
The door was on the side of the hotel, and not on the sea side, like those who were apparently satisfied with their rooms. He held the card up to the door, but it didn't open. He tried again, and then he forcefully opened the door. And I see: a girl is lying on the bed, looking at us in fright, and at that moment a beam falls off from the door and falls into the room. The boy is in shock, closes the door.
Imagine: a Turk bursts into your room at night, and a beam falls from above. It was the apogee of trash. I got hysterical. The boy stood silently and wrote something on the phone.
I asked him to use gestures to contact
Yusuf at the reception. Yusuf promised to come personally. A great honor. We went back to my mom, who was waiting with a suitcase, dumbfounded where I had gone.
Then there was another room, but we, already exhausted (it was more than 1:30 a.m.), began to demand a normal room in the building. After long negotiations, threats to call the agent and mom's nerves, Yusuf called the manager, and we were moved to the main building.
After that, Yusuf began to tell us that this room costs twice as much, that the hotel is doing us a huge favor. We politely sent him on his way and went to look for something to eat at the bar to eat stress. But against the background of adrenaline and the horror of what happened, they could not sleep. There was nothing in the bar except a can of Efes, which we didn't even finish, having eaten the buns left over from the plane.
Now about the deluxe room, which Yusuf praised so much and which, according to him, was so expensive. An ordinary room, slightly larger than a club room, dirty. The bar is empty, there is black mold in the bathroom, insects with long whiskers (similar to cockroaches) are running around.
The rest is standard: slippers, a set of cosmetics, a dirty ironing board, a safe, a large balcony. But there were no bathrobes, and only later did we find out that they had to be asked at the reception, like everyone else in this hotel — through begging, demands, belittling.
For example, I asked three times through an agent and two different reception staff for the promised compliment from the hotel for my mother's birthday (we indicated this when buying the tour). Only after a few reminders, on the night of the 2nd, they brought us some fruit and a bottle of wine.
And so it is with everything! There is no service here. They won't bring water or drinks in the dining room until you ask or tip. The room will not be cleaned and towels will not be replaced until you ask and tip.
The bed linen has not been changed for us even once. The floor was not washed or vacuumed.
Towels for the beach were not given. The entry in the ala-kart restaurant is a separate quest. We waited for half an hour until the manager, having worked his miserable 2 hours, deigned to record us without apologizing for waiting.
You can think endlessly about negativity. If you are used to good service, you absolutely cannot come here. The only thing that saves is the sea, which is beautiful at any time of the year.
The food is normal, without enthusiasm. The breakfasts are weak, lunches and dinners are more or less quite varied, but almost everything is over-salted or cooked from yesterday's leftovers. I recommend people with gastritis, like me, to choose their food carefully - I had a lot of consequences.
But nevertheless, there is a choice, so thank you at least for that. There is a choice of juices, water is always in the fridge. There is also a bar at the dining room for lunch and dinner.
The wine, by the way, is terrible, I do not recommend it.
The a la carte restaurant is a nightmare!
The worst one I've ever been to. In 50 minutes, we were served only three snacks, among which was one salad for two, three small pieces of eggplant and a mini carpaccio of something incomprehensible, again for two. From the very beginning, there was a tiny piece of cheese, five olives and some honey on the table. It was all tasteless.
We just drank wine and ate because there was nothing else to do. We were put in a dark corner, with almost no light and an ugly look. We arrived a little earlier than 7, apparently, we need to come much earlier to sit in a normal place.
As a result, we did not wait for the main dishes, because we already had to go to the airport, and we, hungry, ran to finish eating in the main dining room.
It is very difficult to go down and up to the sea - the steps are extremely high.
Elevators and funiculars do not reach everywhere.
I strongly do not recommend it to people with endurance problems or the elderly!
Now about the good things. Why don't I give 1 star.
1. A good DJ with cool club and house music.
2. On the second floor near the pool and on the terrace, where a DJ is playing, there are pleasant bartenders and barmaids. They make good cocktails.
3. The beach is normal, the views are very pretty.
4. The location is quite good. There are no normal hotels in the center of Bodrum, and from this hotel to the center it takes 7 minutes by taxi for 150 liras. However, taxi drivers are arrogant there, they drive in circles and wind up kilometers.
5. The sea is excellent - clean and with fish.
However, they did not bother to make a normal sandy beach, like at the nearby METT hotel. From the pontoon - immediately into the water.
The water is cool, but this is the Aegean Sea.
There are all kinds of water activities like bananas, saps and so on.
6. There are a lot of places in the hotel where you can eat, have a snack, eat ice cream, order a cocktail. There is something similar on almost every floor where the funicular runs. That's cool.
In general, the impression is this: the hotel has very poor service, no one will try to please you, and if it seems that they are polite to you, then they will immediately forget about you. Until you remind yourself at least three times, nothing will be done. The rooms are tired, there are no renovations in sight. Our deluxe had a hole in the floor, mold in the bathroom, barely working air conditioning, insects and dampness in the bathroom.
The location is good, but is it worth your nerves? No, and no again.
I advise you to look at hotels in the village of Torba, where Rixos or METT.
I give 3 stars for changing the room to a tolerable one, for the sea, bartenders and pleasant music.

We visited this hotel in 2022. The staff said that the hotel has been operating for the last year and is being closed for repairs, and literally everything needs to be repaired there! It's 2024, and the hotel is still open... Sadly. It's just a slum. Yes, the views are beautiful, but there are no 5 stars in this hotel. In addition to the devastation, monotonous food, meat is extremely rare, dirty dishes are often used, coffee is only from the vending machine, instant. Broken elevators, dirt and unsanitary conditions, staff, (except for individuals at the reception) doesn't understand any languages except Turkish, probably. At least, Russian is understood a little better than English, which is generally at zero. I would like to say a special thank you to some of the guys at the reception and from the communication department for their responsiveness, kindness and understanding. There were also quite tasty buffets, but it's better not to see what's behind the doors with the inscription "staff" (for staff"…We also tried not to look in when they were open, but it was difficult to do so. The sea and the views are also great! As it is, the impression is far from the best. It's like no one needs you at all. Perhaps it depends on what and who needs a vacation, but we had a request for a comfortable and, I'm sorry, a vacation that corresponds to quite a lot of money.

1. The hotel building.
When checking in, they tried to cheat and offered a room of a lower class and not in the main building. Thanks to the tour operator, the dispute was settled, although the reception said that there were no seats.
The main building has been well renovated. The elevators are not working well. In places, they were out of order from the heat, they had to walk. If a person does not have sports training, then once will be enough to lose the desire to rest. Upon check-in, they did not give any information sheet about where and at what time to eat, what is available on the territory of the hotel, the rules of staying at the hotel, the schedule and so on.
2. The room.
The carpets in the room were not washed. There was mold in the bathroom, and the towels had a dark shade. The peephole at the front door did not close, the limiter for opening it was torn off. One light bulb in the bathroom was burned out. The floors are unwashed. The curtains are dusty.
3. Food and drinks.
At first glance, a huge assortment. If you take it scrupulously, it turns out that everything is monotonous, only 2-3 types of meat, 2 types of fish.
If you want to get pasta or meat on the grill, you will have to stand in line for 15-20 minutes. Vegetables and fruits are often rotten, spoiled or mildewed.
Dishes and appliances were poorly washed. There were always spots.
The alcohol is diluted. Of the granulated tea, only black, the rest are in bags. Coffee, regardless of the name, has the same appearance and tastes disgusting.
One of the undoubted advantages is a huge number of sweets for every color and taste.
Of the freshly squeezed juices, there was only orange juice.
There was a constant swarm of wasps during lunch. The staff didn't even pay attention. The guests simply moved to other, safer places.
4. Staff.
In general, he is friendly, ready to correct a mistake, if he brought something wrong. Not everyone speaks English.
5. Types.
Beautiful, amazing. The biggest advantage of the hotel.
6. The beach.
A small beach, entering the water from a pontoon. The sun beds are old, there are 3 hammocks and 2 swings. We have to occupy the sun beds in advance, as there is not enough for everyone. Towels are "tired".
7. Entertainment.
Once every two days at 15:00, troupes of people perform for 20 minutes. There is volleyball in the water with a skewed net.
Water aerobics once a day for 30 minutes.
There are darts with broken darts, one billiard table, one tennis table, table football did not work (there was no ball, it was not connected to the network), badminton rackets. That's basically it.
It can be described for a long time. Everyone has their own criteria for determining the quality of service provision.
In my case, no more than 2 stars, awarded only due to unforgettable views.

The only plus is the beautiful view around, but this plus does not outweigh all the disadvantages. This is considering that we didn't spend all day at the hotel, we spent time outside it.
