I really liked this hotel, the staff are very nice girls at the reception, they will tell and explain everything, the room cleaning is fast and clean, thank you for such work and very smiling and polite ladies who are responsible for cleanliness in the hotel, I liked the pool, I forgot my slippers, but you can walk in disposable ones, in a bathrobe and slippers you go down they will give you a towel already there, and hand it over there, the Jacuzzi and baths are also super, there were few people on the first day of our arrival, but then there were a lot of people, the pool is open from 7- 23:00, it's very convenient, however, after walking to come and refresh and relax. We couldn't get up so late in the morning, and of course we had to go for a walk, so we only had time in the evenings. The beds in the rooms are really very comfortable, everything that was needed in principle, the Wi-Fi caught well.
The Holy Spirit Cathedral is located in the center of Minsk. It's very lively. Guided tours for pilgrims and tourists. Although it does not interfere with prayer. I am glad that I visited this holy place!
On the square in front of the cathedral, I immediately noticed a monument to His Eminence Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus. He performed his episcopal ministry in Belarus for almost the entire post-Soviet period. The revival of church life in Belarus, the 90s, the early 2000s – all this happened during his time. I remember that I have books in the Church Slavonic language that were published with his blessing: The New Testament and the Canon Book, or the Complete Prayer Book. The Kingdom of Heaven to the ever-memorable Metropolitan Filaret!
An atmospheric place. The energy is pleasant. A very significant place in Minsk. I love this cathedral, although I won't say that I visit it often. As for grandmothers, don't be afraid of them. They are the same visitors as you and can't kick you out. And if they scold you, then don't get lost either. Tell them to go about their business, otherwise they'll scare all the people away. Let them indicate it at home. That's all. So visit the cathedral and don't be afraid of anyone. After all, he is also for you, as well as for them.
The cathedral is beautiful, located in the center of Minsk, of the advantages, services are held every day, there is an icon of the Mother of God and you can worship Valentina Minskaya. The temple is small, on Sundays and holidays there is a very large crowd of people, it is extremely difficult to approach and venerate the icons. And the main disadvantage of this cathedral is the grandmothers. These are not grandmothers, these are witches, it feels like in this cathedral the reins of government are given to grandmothers and not benevolent from the series, they themselves do not go to heaven and do not give others. It's terrible, grandmothers have an inflated opinion of themselves, it feels like you're not going to God, but to their home, I haven't seen so much anger yet, there was a holiday, there were a lot of people, I decided to take a couple of photos, I didn't know that you can't take pictures there, I started taking pictures, so this grandmother is a witch she started hitting me on the hands and shouting "you can't, you can't", by the way, I managed to take a couple of photos as a souvenir. But the sediment remained very strong, I take everything close to my heart, she shamed me in front of other people, everyone began to look at me, what was I doing there that grandma already began to pull on my hand, it's terrible, you can't take pictures well, come say with love "don't take pictures", why do this with such aggression, where the priests look, I know the priests who stop such grandmothers, but it's not in this cathedral. Dear priests, have a conversation with your grandmothers or you don't seem to care. In general, there is no spirituality as such in Minsk, everyone is fixated on money, on the greatness of temples, priests are ready to communicate with wealthy parishioners, unfortunately, this is exactly the feeling.
The Cathedral (formerly the Bernardine Church) and the monastery on Cyril and Methodius Street, founded in 1642, are interesting monuments of old Minsk. The church has a basilic plan (23x18 m). The interior space is divided into three naves by six pillars. The middle nave, as is customary in basilic churches, is much wider and higher than the side ones and ends with a pentagonal apse.
The main, western facade of the church ends with two tall multi—tiered towers decorated with layers of pilasters, arched niches and arched spans in the upper tiers. The middle part, sandwiched between two towers, is designed as a shield with a curved contour. The architecture of the building has a pronounced Baroque character
Today, 03/02/2025, on "forgiven Sunday" I attended the liturgy for the first time in this wonderful church (I am from Vitebsk). I would like to express my deep gratitude to the regent and the entire clergy for such restrained and at the same time beautiful harmonious singing, especially of the "cherubic" by nun Julia (Denisova): I heard it for the first time "live", I dreamed about this moment for several years, I couldn't hold back tears of joy! 🥹
Special thanks to all the serving deacons and priests, headed by the rector. It's very cool when several people preach on the topic of the Gospel of the day and the feast, so to speak, they have sorted out the same question from three bell towers (deacon, priest and abbot), definitely everyone will get into the heart!!!
And suddenly a cool feature is the singing of a prayer service only by all the people present and willing.
God save you, brothers and sisters! 🙏

The stunning spirit of the temple, the main cathedral. Very beautiful, well maintained. To the left of the main royal gates is the Icon of the Mother of God of Minsk, revealed in 1500 on the banks of the Svisloch River. Not far from the temple, a memorial sign is installed directly at this place.
A very beautiful and ancient Cathedral of the descent of the Holy Spirit. Here is the most valuable relic — the miraculous icon of the Mother of God called Minsk, another shrine of the temple is the incorruptible relics of the Holy Virgin Sofia Slutskaya, which can be seen in a side niche to the left of the altar.
That's where I go. Advantages: there is enough space for everyone to pass faster, more priests for confession and communion, the camera is viewed, because I closed my eyes once when I was sitting and waiting for the service, so they came to ask if I was feeling ill; choral singing is such that tears roll down, it breaks through; you can choose a priest, talk separately they keep order, individual desire, whether to buy you a candle and whether to put money (there is something to compare it with).
A holy, blessed place. Wonderful fathers. Services every day. They will accept a note at any time and help with advice. A historical monument. The relics of St. Sophia of Slutsk in the cathedral. The miraculous icon of the Minsk Mother of God.
I visited the cathedral, I was satisfied, it is located in the center of the capital, you can get there without any problems. Admission is free, you can pray, there is an icon of the Mother of God of Minsk in the cathedral. The territory near the cathedral is well maintained and very beautiful.
I really liked the temple, I am delighted. I was with my mother in this temple on 07.01.2024. A beautiful Good temple. I managed to pray in this church, and I found an icon of the Minsk Icon of the Mother of God.
The most beautiful temple! On the left are the miraculous icon of the Mother of God and the relics of St. Sophia of Slutsk. The priests are always attentive to the parishioners)
The best Orthodox church in Minsk in terms of beauty. It is no coincidence that this is a cathedral. Here is the Minsk Icon of the Mother of God, the relics of St. Sophia of Slutsk.
The main shrine of Belarus, the Minsk Icon of the Mother of God, is located here. Also, the relics of the rights are constantly in the temple. Sofia Slutskaya, the relics of the same name. Mary Magdalene, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the relics of other venerated saints (in relics). There are quite a lot of people throughout the day. There is a large church shop, as well as several points where you can buy candles and order prayer services. There is consecrated water - pour it into disposable cups yourself. And the building itself was built in the first half of the XVII century. as a church of the Bernardine Catholic convent. In 1852, the monastery was abolished and transferred to the Orthodox Church. The Holy Spirit Monastery was opened in the adjacent two-storey building.
A good place, the upper town, a beautiful cathedral, the city hall behind the cathedral. A great place to walk, especially in the evening when everything is glowing!👍
The main Orthodox church in Minsk. The symbol of the city. It is located in the very center of the city. It was built as a church for the Bernardine Catholic monastery in 1633-42. In 1852, the monastery moved to Nesvizh, and in 1860 the church was transferred to the Orthodox.
There is the main shrine of the city - the Minsk Mother of God, the relics of Sofia Slutskaya, a lot of particles of saints from all over the world. There is a miraculous icon of St. Barbara below. And it is also the main Orthodox church of the city, where sometimes, on holidays, Metropolitan Benjamin serves.
Nearby is a monument to Filaret with the cross of Euphrosyne of Polotsk, which he once restored. As well as a wonderful choir, large prosphora and a very good atmosphere
Every self-respecting Minsk resident and just a Belarusian is obliged to visit there! Of course, we go there on all church holidays, got married with our spouse and baptized our eldest daughter there, we really liked everything.
Walking along Nemiga, it is difficult not to notice the cathedral. Now one of its walls is being restored, not the most presentable painting. And so it is very well maintained, clean.
The city center. The cathedral. One of the interesting things is that in the evenings the service is broadcast over the loudspeaker to the street. Unusual
The cathedral was open on weekdays until 20.00, but it was open, people were walking. And my friend and I decided to visit it. We bought a candle each and went to put it on for health. We decided to light a candle and at that moment a cleaning woman ran up (she was sweeping the floor, and began to shout at us:"You can't do that, request candles from the main candle."She snatched the candles from her hands, extinguished the fire, grabbed someone else's candle from the counter and rudely said: "take your candles and leave here." My friend and I stood as if spellbound, speechless. The candle was never put on. They left with an unpleasant feeling in their soul. We believe that a person who came to the church should not be expelled from it, even if it closes, although people continued to go. It was the first time I came across such an evil man who works in a church. You can't do that. We did not come to her house, but to God. And such evil people discourage the desire to visit the Cathedral. I hope the administration will take explanatory measures with those staff.
A very majestic cathedral, the place is well maintained and very beautiful. On a hill, with a beautiful view. It's also very beautiful inside. They let everyone in, there are handkerchiefs. The beautiful bell ringing can be heard even on the other side of the reservoir. There is a wonderful promenade and the old town nearby. The cathedral was built in the 16th century. There is a toilet around the corner. I recommend to see the Cathedral and the surrounding area

An ancient Orthodox church. It is currently a cathedral. The cathedral houses the miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Minsk", the relics of Sofia Slutskaya, and many ancient icons. There is a small icon shop.
I attended a service in this church today. Very emotional. To the point of tears. No one forbade taking pictures. One of the most wonderful places in Minsk and Belarus. It is mandatory to visit.
Perhaps, of all the Orthodox churches, this one is the most beloved! The atmosphere there is special, blissful! Every time we come to Minsk, we always come here with our daughter, we often get to services. How wonderfully the choir sings! One of the most favorite places in the city. I recommend everyone to visit who is in Minsk!
The magnificent cathedral. Little. To the left of the iconostasis is the Minsk Icon of the Mother of God! There are many relics in the temple. We were also able to visit the lower temple in honor of the World War II. Barbarians. There is a tank with holy water, an icon shop, and a toilet behind the cathedral.
It is a very pleasant place and location that inspires and energetically attracts, for those who will be in Minsk, we definitely recommend visiting. There is a walking area nearby, there are more people on the square in the evening.
A beautiful cathedral in a beautiful place. There are many, let's say, far from new icons, which pleases. I liked the chorus - timbre, balance, and repertoire.Lapaev is generally good.
The place is definitely a landmark for Minsk. The cathedral is in good condition. In the evening, prayers are broadcast through speakers to the square (maybe it coincided with our visit). You definitely need to come in
Children like to come here, and the cathedral is beautiful and the place itself is historical, beautiful. The services are sincere, I love this place very much, it's a pity it's far from home, it's not often possible to come here to the service. As a child, I often visited, the atmosphere is special in this temple!
I recommend all Orthodox people to visit this temple at least once. It is a very blessed place here: many Shrines, the miraculous icon of the Minsk Monastery, the relics of many saints. You rest your body and soul and recharge from this wonderful place!
They forced me to change the review. I wrote a prayer, Holy God, and the admins didn't like it. Why is holy and innocent prayer not to be given once again to God and faith?
From the outside, as soon as you notice the crosses, you realize that this is an Orthodox church. Beautiful decoration, gracious service. The miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Minsk" is kept here.

A beautiful colorful Orthodox church. We were with my family as tourists, I really liked the temple. Russian rubles are also accepted as donations. Calm, beautiful, cozy!
A holy place. Even during the war, when the whole of Minsk was destroyed, the cathedral was practically not damaged. It's worth coming, at least just to stand.
