Maybe 30 years ago it was a great hotel at the highest standards of its time. But as of today, and compared to other Western Hotels, this is maximum 1 or 2 stars. The room did not have modern furniture and was not very pleasant. Nevertheless: breakfast was very good and the soviet art gallery on the walls was very authentic and beautiful to see.

Hello.I liked the Bug Hotel in Brest. The advantages are that next to the railway station, next to a beautiful park, the hotel has a good restaurant, a pleasant atmosphere, delicious breakfasts and you can even have lunch, there are set meals-not expensive. The hotel also has its own museum dedicated to Vladimir Vysotsky. In the past, this hotel has hosted many famous people: artists, poets, artists and other creative figures. The staff at the hotel is young and friendly. Thank you all for the warm welcome.

We stayed in a family comfort room. Everything is fine, the room is clean, there is everything you need: slippers, shower gel, shampoo, air conditioning in the room, a kitchenette with a kettle, cutlery, a small refrigerator, a microwave oven. Breakfast is included, buffet style. There is a spacious bathroom with a large bathtub, a shower stall, and a bidet. Towels and bathrobes are also provided. The windows faced the road, but there was no noise, which was a big plus. Close to the street. Sovetskaya and other attractions.

The hotel has a chic interior, you can't take that away. Hall, stairs with photographs, corridors with paintings, there is an exhibition of dolls in beautiful authentic dresses. The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast buffet is European-style, there is enough food and it is not bad. An excellent coffee machine makes delicious cappuccino and latte. Of the disadvantages, the administrator may not be at the reception, there is no information on how to connect to the Internet in the room. I had to go down to the administrator again and only then was I given the password to the Wi-Fi. And it also looks like there are some noisy events in the restaurant every evening, I personally was not comfortable going to dinner there. So I went to another place.

Good accommodation, although in a city like Brest, there are few places where you can say that the accommodation is bad. Train stations are nearby, a park is available, and the most iconic places are within walking distance, especially if you have a love of hiking in your DNA. There is an electric charger for cars. Parking spaces are not enough for me, although maybe the hotel has as many as it needs, I have not seen the technical design of this architectural creation. There is a restaurant right in the hotel. This may be a standard set, but do not forget that the city is of regional importance and we are in Belarus.

A very decent hotel, the rooms are small but cozy. I recommend taking a small change with a balcony (they cost the same), but it's nice to go out for a breath of air. The breakfasts are not bad, one of the nuances is a coffee machine (it also has boiling water and milk for cereal), you know, queues form. The location is wonderful - the main pedestrian street is 10 minutes away at a leisurely pace, there is a grocery store nearby, and there is a restaurant downstairs. The Vysotsky Museum is really quite nice, I recommend it.

Friends! The review will not be enthusiastic, therefore, according to the points: 1) location 5 out of 5, close to the city center, to both train stations; 2) Architecture and appearance - 5 out of 5, decent building and beautiful; 3) meeting and check-in - 5 out of 5, fast, polite, immediately ready codes for the Internet at the reception, excellent; 4) number 3 out of 5, tired, cramped 5) the room contents are 2 out of 5, the towels are colorful, as if they were taken from someone's cottage, the rug between the beds is dirty, there is no bottled water, and when we asked about the water, we were asked which room category, and, standard, then you are not allowed water. water costs 1.2-1.5, and room 160 per day. The water in the shower does not go away, or rather it goes away very slowly and somehow it turns out to be unsanitary; 6) breakfasts are 4 out of 5, the restaurant is beautiful, but the tables with food are untidy, the breakfasts themselves are simple, you can eat, not bad, but nothing. There is a lot of information about famous guests who stayed at the hotel, it is very interesting, thank you for the memory of these amazing people. But at the same time, I wish you more care and comfort for modern guests!

The combination of price and quality is very poor. The only good thing is the location near the car and railway station and not far from the center, as well as the free Vysotsky Museum. It's worth a visit, it's worthwhile. In general, it is only for his sake that we can stop here. Otherwise: the price is high, there is no water in the bottle or in the cooler (you can ask for a kettle, but you have to ask for it), no tea, no slippers, no bathrobes, Wi-Fi is disgusting (perhaps because I was given the last room on the floor, but is that my problem?), the breakfast is poor.

I'll give you a solid 5.It's a very atmospheric place.Historical.Despite the fact that the room (standard) was very small and it was a bit cold (May weather), the hotel left a very vivid and pleasant impression. The corridors are interestingly designed, and the restaurant is beautiful, like a movie, with good breakfasts. There is a Vysotsky Museum.Thank you for cherishing the memory of him and that time so carefully.Very friendly attitude towards his guests.I would like to wish only good and further prosperity.

We stayed for two nights. On the good side: convenient location, affordable price, there was a small refrigerator in the room, hygiene products, towels, a new elevator, repairs to the reception area and corridors are normal. On the downsides: very good audibility, the disco in the restaurant was bothering me, the mattresses were too soft, there was green mold in the bathroom in the shower cabin, and the room was decorated in a Soviet style. We lived in a two-room room: in the first entrance room there are two single beds, in the second room there is one double bed. There is no balcony. Breakfast buffet: the choice of dishes is very modest, the breakfast is the same two days in a row: omelette, scrambled eggs, sausages, porridge, fruit and vegetables, cheese, sausage, yoghurts. Good coffee machine, makes cocoa. We are generally satisfied.

Nice hotel, within walking distance from the railway and bus station. The Brest Fortress can be reached in half an hour, Sovetskaya and Gogol streets are also nearby, there are many shops nearby, and a recreation park. I was very pleased with the early check-in. The room is small, but cozy and clean. A bathroom with a window adds to the mood in sunny weather :). There is no cooler on the floor, you can get a kettle at the reception. The breakfast is a buffet, no frills, but delicious. The staff is friendly, which is good news.

Good afternoon! It has been a long time since I have received such sincere pleasure as after visiting the restaurant of the Bug hotel!!! Excellent cuisine and excellent service, live music and a new creative interior, everything contributed to a good rest!!! The hotel itself has a rich history, which is captured in improvised exhibitions, for example, the so-called Vysotsky Museum!!! I recommend you to visit!

The location of the hotel is great, the historical building in which it is located is also cool, but the rooms are honestly in need of renovation, these green wallpapers are just blood from the eyes, there are few sockets in the rooms, there is a strong smell of sewage in the toilet, that's why I take off the stars. If breakfast is not included in the price, then I do not advise paying for it separately, it is better to go to a cafe for a delicious meal.

Plus, it's close to the railway station, the park and a 15-minute walk to the center, not bad breakfasts and decent lunches for 12 rubles in a restaurant (May 2025), cons : a "tired room stock", a very cramped shower room with a bathroom , a minimum of disposable shampoos/gels, ordinary door keys that do not always open from the first time, the maids are clearly not trained in work standards - without knocking on the door, they tried to open the room with their keys at 8.00 in the morning. The reception girls are very friendly. I didn't take pictures of the hotel, because everything is very simple, on the 2nd floor there is a museum of Vysotsky and an exhibition of dolls is very pretty. There is a luggage storage and you can also take a kettle to the room at the reception, there are cups in the room. There is a Discounter grocery store nearby.

The hotel is in the center, the interior is clean and tidy, everything you need is in the room, TV, refrigerator, appliances (cups, kettle, glasses), but there was no corkscrew, but the issue was resolved at the bar downstairs of the hotel. The bathroom is clean, there is a one-time shampoo and gel soap. The towels are clean, still "alive". Nearby there is a Discount supermarket and Brest railway station The buffet breakfast is excellent, everything is delicious.

Great hotel! Sooo homely, cozy, clean. We were really surprised! There are a lot of real paintings on the walls, just like an art gallery)) When we paid for the room online, the photos of the hotel were so average, but it turned out to be much better in person, I don't know why they don't post these photos on the website... Everything is much better and more pleasant there than in the photo.))

For its price tag, a normal hotel. The most accessible during our entire trip to Belarus. Cleanliness is at 4, there was a hair on the sheet, as soon as we stopped by, we just cleaned it ourselves and forgot. Tired plumbing. They don't give us slippers, and they didn't give us water for our room category (triple) either. They offered a kettle with an awesome layer of scale. They didn't take it. If you are prepared for these nuances, then the first impression of the hotel will be even better. Conveniently located near the train station, close to Sovetskaya and Gogol streets, the main pedestrian streets, near an excellent grocery store, which for some reason is called a discounter. You can walk to the fortress, near the park. The hotel has a new elevator. There is a good V.S. Vysotsky Museum on the 2nd floor. We didn't take breakfast after reading the reviews. We ate at the Times on Sovetskaya Street. The price tag for breakfast is about the same, but the quality and choice are clearly better. P.S. For the hotel staff. Please clean the kettles from the scale. And at least you can put a bottle of water in the room. The cost per Belarusian ruble is one and a half, and the gratitude of the guests is priceless.

Overall, the hotel makes a pleasant impression. The staff is pleasant. The restaurant is wonderful. The entire breakfast menu, tea/coffee/cold drinks, eggs, casserole, nuggets, vegetables, cheese, ham, porridge. On the downside, there are literally cobwebs in the room, it's dusty in some places, the backlight doesn't work in the bathroom, and the sewer periodically smells. The location is great, 5-8 minutes walk to the train station, 20-25 minutes to the fortress.

I really liked the hotel! Clean and cozy. Polite staff. We had a triple room. A delight for a child. A baby bed in the room in the form of a steam train! There is a large double bed and a large sofa. Spacious bathroom with shower and bidet. There is a restaurant. Convenient location. There is a parking lot for cars. There were a couple of unpleasant moments. Wi-Fi works only at the entrance, it practically does not catch at the bed. The ceiling lights were flashing at night. The impression at night is as if the flash is working. Until I put the switch in the middle position, they did not stop. For the staff, it is forbidden to put fluorescent lamps with a backlit switch! The lamps will still flicker! Otherwise, only positive emotions.

The most interesting hotel in the vastness of Belarus that I have ever visited. Photos of celebrities who stayed at the hotel. There are paintings on the corridors, although military themes prevail. And of course, Vysotsky's corner and room. If "culture" is not an empty word for you, then go here. There are no questions about the number. It's warm, clean and cozy. Towels, shampoo, soap are available. There is a TV. Wifi is acceptable, you can work.

The hotel is located in a historic building, close to the train station and the center. Polite staff, clean enough. The hotel has a panoramic elevator, a museum.Vysotsky (they were not). Although the room faced the road, it was not noisy. There is no private parking at the hotel, but we always found a place The only question is for the restaurant, breakfast is until 11.00, when we checked in, even at the reception they asked how much we plan to have breakfast, we said that at about 10.00. It's wonderful... but.....we came for breakfast around 10.05-10.10, we were constantly running out of croissants, then fried eggs and no longer replenished Those who came later than us, the choice was even less. Well, OK, we found something to eat, this is not the only food, but on the last day the bread was only black, the time was about 10.10. We asked for white bread, to which we were told that there was none!! This is a fiasco, bro! Do you have breakfast in a restaurant that serves a la carte all day and you don't have white bread?? A lot of people don't eat black bread and not all of them because they don't like it. For example, those who have an increased acidity of the stomach, they can not have black bread. Then it was even more fun, we took the last fried egg, omelette, croissants and something else was already over before us. Towards the end of breakfast, a man came, began to ask (apparently about eggs), they also told him no, no, he picked up food, again approached the waiters and began to ask, literally begging, it didn't look very good. One of the waiters took an empty tray and after a while a plate of fried eggs was brought to the man. Seriously? What kind of restaurant is this where residents have to literally BEG for a paid breakfast? I have repeatedly seen reviews complaining about breakfasts in Bug, I thought people were exaggerating. No, they are not exaggerating, those who write good reviews just come earlier, and not an hour before the end of breakfast. Therefore, the advice for those who are going to book this, in general, a good hotel is to book rooms without breakfast, or come early

We stayed with a family of 4 people passing through. The hotel is located just fine: near the bus station, railway station, park, Brest Fortress, street of lanterns and much more in a half-hour walk. The room is just wonderful: a double bed, two folding sofas, a huge bathroom with a shower and a bathtub😳 a set of towels for each resident, but only 2 bathrobes🤷♂️ there is also a dining table in the room, but only four glasses and a kettle are available from the dishes, and for some reason only 2 bottles of water 0.5😬 there is a mini fridge, TV, wi-fi. At the time of our stay, the weather was hot, and therefore we really lacked a split system🥵 but given the usual climate of the region, this option is most likely usually not in demand. The hotel has a room where Vysotsky stayed. There are also photos on the walls of famous personalities who lived in this hotel or were somehow connected with it. Paintings are placed along the corridors, the feeling that you live in a museum🙂 I would like to have bags of water on the floor, well, not everyone is suitable for drinking tap water...special thanks to the restaurant with its wonderful breakfasts (buffet), fruits, vegetables, porridge (though only one), omelette, scrambled eggs, sausages, casserole, pastries, juices, coffee machine.. in a word, you definitely won't go hungry, I think everyone will find something to their taste.. on the day of departure, however, there was a question about the availability of a free table, at the time of our visit to the restaurant there were no free tables, but after a couple of minutes the place was vacated and we settled down quietly. In general, I liked the hotel, it seemed a little overpriced, but apparently the season location plays a role here. In a word, we didn't regret a bit that we stayed at the Bug hotel. If we get to Brest again, we will most likely stay only at this hotel.

Advantages: the city center. All the attractions are within easy reach. Polite staff. Everything was quickly arranged, explained, and we went to a room reservation meeting. There are no obvious disadvantages. Clear. Yes, there is a split tile and a sink in the bathroom. But it didn't affect my living in any way. The old towels also did not cause any discomfort during the stay. Our rooms ranged from very modest to simply modest. But I saw that there are other more comfortable rooms. Overall, the hotel was quiet. Nothing prevented me from sleeping.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night. We arrived at 3:30 p.m. The room was not ready yet. While we went for a walk, they cleaned up)) after cleaning, we removed other people's hair from all the beds)) but they didn't focus on it, thinking that they would have become very strong, that the hair was already flying))we had a family suite. This is the most terrible room we've ever had while traveling in Belarus. There were 5 of us. 2 adults and 3 children ( 7,12,15). Everything is awry in the suite. There's a sofa here. You sit down, and the TV is exactly behind the columns, and it's not clear why it was hung there. Tea, no coffee. They gave me 2 small bottles of water for 5), 2 dressing gowns, and everything was shabby. But most importantly, the road could be heard all night and it was insanely cold. We didn't get enough sleep, and we were cold. The breakfasts are standard according to the coupon)) my husband worked in the morning and came for breakfast not at 8 as we did, but at 8.30. The restaurant was filled with people from the tour and empty tables with food (did not have time. I gave three stars to respect the old building, which has seen many celebrities)) maybe the rooms are much better, of course. I don't know. But we didn't like it. I don't recommend it. We won't stop there anymore.

A hotel with its pros and cons. Among the advantages: a rich history and general interiors, the Vysotsky Museum, which often stopped here on the way to Europe, delicious and varied Swedish breakfasts, a good location, where it is not far from here. The interior of the hotel: cheap rooms with synthetic curtains and bedspreads, terrible street noise from a busy highway under the windows, the lack of conduits in the rooms (and we got into 30 degree heat) - if there is a conditioner in the room, then the price instantly skyrocketed.

The hotel is strange, to put it mildly, Excellent location, rich history, and apparently because of this they can afford not to monitor the condition of the rooms and the quality of the staff. Room preparation is just a horror, they didn't even bother to vacuum the rug, it was covered in garbage and hair. The room is cold, the weather was unlucky, the situation could have been fixed by turning on the air conditioner in heating mode, but it was de-energized. I want to highlight the bed separately! The mattress with broken springs, stained, asked the front desk to replace it, both girls shouted out loud that it was not possible and no one complained at all...

Convenient location, cleanliness, and completely unreasonable room rates. We had an improved standard with a queen size bed. I'm attaching a photo. As you can see in the real world, the room is different from the one presented by the hotel. The rooms are tired (the toilet is leaking, the top watering can in the shower is not working, the toilet paper holder falls to the floor when touched). The maids put gel and shampoo on just one when they checked in for two days. There is only one bottle of drinking water in the room for two people and a small one for two days (there is no cooler on the floor, as well as a kettle in the room) We paid 18,000 (Russian rubles) for two people with breakfast (buffet) Number 401.
