A less harmonious and uglier building in Karlovy Vary than Thermal has never been seen in the Czech Republic. Due to its size, locals politically correctly call this gloomy complex of gray buildings a concrete castle. And for me, this monstrous 55-year–old monster is the brainchild of architect V. Mahonin, for which many old mansions, schools and gardens were demolished, is a real tragedy. The only plus: from the roof of the open (or rather, closed and polluted) pool, wonderful views of the resort center open. And even though there is a casino, a conference center, a festival hall where film festivals and exhibitions take place, I would not want to stay at this spa hotel, even if I got a ticket to the sanatorium for free. Sorry for being too emotional, but it's just that this huge, dreary "Thermal" was so upsetting, it became so insulting for the resort!
My friends and I have been vacationing at this hotel for 11 years. We are satisfied with the service, the relationships of the staff, and the treatment!!! The rooms are comfortable, the corridors are wide, and many floors have already been renovated. The restaurant is delicious and has a variety of dishes! Well, we like this hotel, we are already at home there! Thank you very much!!! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹👍👍👍👍👍🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
