The interior of the restaurant harmoniously complements the general surroundings, creating a cozy atmosphere for dinner or a holiday. If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy gastronomic pleasures and beautiful views, this restaurant is the perfect choice. I will definitely come back here again!
We managed to capture excellent views from the summer garden of this institution. Delicious cuisine with a wide selection of dishes, especially I want to highlight the tenderest beef cheeks. The restaurant is located at the top of the Koktobe cable car, if you take a taxi, then keep in mind that taxis are not delivered. If you arrive in your car, you may be exchanged for a paid ticket and you will not need to pay for entry (10'000 tenge). Interesting interior, live music plays in the evenings. The waiters know the menu and the ingredients of the dishes, but the kitchen prepares them a little slowly. In general, the institution is 5/5.
To begin with, we were not greeted very politely, there was no one in the hall except for a small celebrating company, but we were transferred twice. The feeling of neglect is firmly entrenched. And for some reason I had to take outerwear with me to the hall, they did not offer to leave it at the entrance to the wardrobe.
The restaurant has a panoramic but cool view of the city and mountains from the summer terrace, it is closed, and the view from the window is not impressive. The interior is in the style of 2010-2012, as, in general, the style of service, and the audience is appropriate. It just smelled like crazy money, and the same crazy morals...
The only thing that impressed me was the volume of the wine list. This is unusual for Kazakhstan (based on my personal experience). A wine list with a full-fledged menu, there are solid positions of 300,000 tenge+ (over 60,000rubles per bottle). I am well versed in this matter and ordered a bottle of Austrian riesling. There was no purpose to taste exclusive wines, they came to taste Kazakh food. The sommelier began to load the wines with pathos, and when it became clear that I knew what I wanted and did not want ceremonies, interest in us faded.
They asked for a Kazakh menu. We took beshbarmak, lamb meat kebab and green salad. The barbecue was served sloppily, there were no knives for meat. Among the grilled vegetables was a whole, almost raw onion, not cut in half. The meat itself is delicious and juicy. The green salad is filled with butter. Beshbarmak is still difficult for me to evaluate, I have to eat a hundred different ones to understand its whole essence. But it looked beautiful and traditional.
In general, the evening was very sad in an empty inhospitable old-fashioned pretentious restaurant, with unappetizing food and poor service.
