A great hotel! We have been traveling here since 2006. The interiors are in a more modern style, unlike for example AlQasr, but we really like this hotel. Gorgeous views from the window of the Sail, the sea and the new Mars Al Arab hotel.

I like everything!
Someone says the numbers are too old, we didn't notice it. Caroline on the floor, adjustable air conditioning system. The area is very comfortable for a family of 3 people - a full-fledged very comfortable bed is laid out, the room is cleaned regularly, towels are changed daily, beautiful figures are made of them, the water supply and the bar are replenished. WildWadi Water Park is a 3-minute walk away.
I highly recommend it.
We usually rest in October or in spring in April.

A chic hotel, delicious breakfasts and dinners on the buffet are a huge variety. We went to the city for lunch and went to an Italian restaurant on the ground floor. A gorgeous beach with sun loungers and towels directly overlooking the Sail. A gentle entrance to the water, which is pleasant for children. Attentive and polite staff, both on the beach and in restaurants, the maids also made masterpieces out of towels and it was a pleasure to enter the room every time. There is a water park nearby-entrance for hotel residents is free of charge. Very good slides, clean water park.

The territory is huge, we walked for health, a lot of local glamour and all sorts of ladies come on weekends. The problem with an ordinary taxi is to leave the hotel, they are in demand, Careem gives a normal price, then higher, but always a car on call through the app arrives with the meter turned on, and Lexuses that impersonate a taxi are 2-3 times more expensive, or even more. In the pools from 2023 to 2024, small tiles flew off. While everything is great, the territory is being updated, the rooms are super, the pools are starting to "get tired".

An amazing hotel! By itself, it has no complaints. We were upset by some moments, from the very beginning, we arrived early, at 10 we were already at the hotel. We waited a couple of hours for accommodation in the lobby, and surprisingly, we were offered neither water nor tea…Although there was a Russian red - haired girl on the recipe . It kind of upset us from the very beginning. There was also nothing in the room, as they say, welcoming us, fruits or sweets, as is usually customary. ( It was brought the next day in the evening ). It was strange. A couple of times cleaning (which is 2 times a day) had to be called. Otherwise, everything is at the highest level. The location, the staff, the breakfasts are great! The room has everything, the mini bar is full, the prices are biting)) a tiny Bacardi builds 70 Drx when the price in the store is 16 :)) The bathroom has everything, but there is no time for a hairdryer. It should be dried in the room. The hair dryer is terrible (at least we had it). I regretted that I didn't knit my Dyson. The dryer ( thread) is right in the shower, in which it is unrealistic to dry something. There are only chairs and a table on the balcony. I had to hang the laundry there... although there was plenty of room on the balcony, I could think of something there. Swimsuits and swimming trunks still need to be dried. I was glad that water was brought in abundance to the room, it was everywhere in the bathroom and in the toilet. Fruits were brought to us 2 times in 9 days. As for breakfast: everything is 10 out of 10. Freshly prepared, delicious, different cuisines. From porridge to shakshuka. Fruits, yoghurts, freshly squeezed juice . The pastries are awesome, not varied, but always fresh. There is a large selection for children, pancakes, waffles, pancakes, cereals, in general, a very diverse menu. As for the "chill" pools, the beach, there are always places, you will be escorted, a towel will be built for you, cool water will be supplied in a cooler bag. They often run around wondering if everything is in order. A couple of times a day they give out a small ice cream, delicious. Ice cream and shots (non-alcoholic) are delicious and refreshing on the beach. There is a bar menu, you can have a snack and order a cocktail or beer. The average price is a bottle of beer for 1400 rubles . Therefore, it is reasonable to buy and score a mini bar when going out in a boutique or in alcohol stores in a shopping center)) The pool is very clean. The beaches are sifted, also as clean as an hourglass. The entrance to the sea is smooth. There are entertainers in the water (motorcycles, etc.). Overall, the impressions are wonderful. The view is wonderful . Organized everything is not bad enough. There are a lot of Russian-speaking staff, so any nuance can be solved. On the ground floor there is a pharmacy, beach supplies. On the ground floor there is a jewelry store, perfume, a store of not bad beach clothes (pareos, swimwear, bags, glasses, oil) everything is very interesting. There were events in the evenings, we got to halloween. We organized everything very well. They broadcast football and landmark matches. Wondering if we'll come back now? Defined yes! We went as a family: mom, dad and 2 children (9 and 15 years old). The room is a family room, I don't remember the exact name (deluxe and something else). Half board. We had a rest for May 2024.
1. The hotel is old. Tired. There are chips somewhere. The furniture is old. The design of the noughties or 90s... The mattress is comfortable! The pillows are terrible, there is no choice of pillows. The bathroom is large. The swimsuits did not dry out for a couple of days. One of the sinks in the bathroom was constantly clogged, they asked to punch it, it seemed to get better, and then it was the same again.
2. Nutrition:
Breakfast is not bad. I liked poached eggs with avocado toast the most, we found out that fish could be added there at the last breakfast, when salmon was added from somewhere under the table to the man on request. Smoothies are delicious. The children liked the rolls.
If you come to breakfast after 9, then there is a huge queue. The room number is checked for each group that arrives, then handed over to the girl who brings it to the table. And there are not so many such girls (2 or 3), and everyone is standing and waiting for her to take them away and come back. But we came early to go to the sea early, it was quite free. Although I do not understand this artificial creation of a queue, since someone else can easily sit at the table at which you were seated, if you did not leave something there. But, I repeat, there is a lot of space early in the morning and the queue is small.
The dinner is monotonous. At first I liked it, for a week I got tired of the same thing (a huge area of Indian, real Indian, cuisine, and always the same, we don't eat spicy food). Well, the fact that there is not even water at dinner is still strange. It's normal that you have to pay for alcohol, but water...
we were in an Italian restaurant. Not bad, but for a very long time. With a limited menu and not a full fit, it would be possible to serve faster. (waiting for dishes for 40-45 minutes, how can you make salads for so long).
3. The beach.
A very small buoy-fenced swimming area. It is impossible to swim. The bay is empty in terms of livestock. The water is very warm in May.
The sand is clean, the sunbeds are neat. It's nice that they bring bottles of water on the beach, you can order juices and something else, but we didn't want to eat after breakfast.
Well, the purest Turkey: we come to the sea at 8, there is not a soul on the beach, but all the sun beds are occupied!!! Well, guys, how is it????!!!! It is necessary to bypass part of the beach, where you can find places on long-distance lines. At 11 we were leaving, and people were starting to come up. Ugh! Just ugh!
4. Swimming pools. We went to the pool once, only one child swam, and the next night he spent in the toilet vomiting. We haven't been to the pool anymore.
5. Water park. There are a lot of people, queues, slides are so-so, there are no places to leave things. We went once, I didn't want to go anymore.
6. Everyone here writes about the infrastructure, we did not find any infrastructure, or rather, no one told us about it, there is no information, you will not ask something at the reception, and you will not find out. They even asked "where is everyone standing in line and driving cars?", and did not receive an answer.
7. Good sound insulation in the rooms.
8. Room cleaning: for some reason, they clean 2 times a day, and the circle from the cup on the bedside table has not been wiped in a week. Cleaning for show. The best way to get disappointed in Elemis cosmetics! Some kind of the most disgusting shampoo and conditioner.
9. A lot of women with low social responsibility in the evenings in the hotel lobby... I was not ready to tell a 9-year-old child what kind of aunts they were... And this is a family hotel???!!!
10. Absolutely stupid entrance to the hotel: buses do not fit well, there is a constant traffic jam from cars, and in the evening, when moths get into cars to customers, they do not drive up at all, although the traffic jam is not only in the evening. And it is difficult to approach the hotel on foot: there is a narrow path along the roadway, which was blocked by repairs, so we walked along the roadway with the children.
11. There is nothing near the hotel, somewhere to walk or have a snack - there is nothing around, just take a taxi.
12. All rooms have sea views and the hotel is a sail. But the windows don't open, so no sea noise and wind from the sea at night, like in a sealed box with air conditioning.
In general, there is no desire to return to the hotel! There is nothing for a little boy or a teenage son to do there. And in general, the emirate itself did not seem to be at all for holidays with children.

We were in December 2023. In principle, it was the first time in the UAE, so there is nothing to compare it with in the Emirates!
A large, nice hotel with a wonderful view. All rooms at the hotel have a view of the Persian Gulf! We lived in a room without a Delux balcony on the 23rd floor. The room is very large for two, the room is very clean, cleaned twice a day. Bath, shower, bidet! The 23rd floor is beautiful, the view is gorgeous, BUT the BIG MINUS is that there is a disco bar on the 24th floor!!! And although its working time is until 00:00, in fact it worked until 02:00. And all the music and the footsteps of the visitors could be clearly heard in our room. They called the reception, complained, the staff took measures, yes, they made it quieter, but the stomping of the dancers did not make it quieter! As a result, we were moved to a room of the same category on the 13th floor. Definitely, I will not recommend the 23rd floor to anyone.
There are 4 swimming pools on site. One sports pool, two pools for beach holidays and a children's pool. All have comfortable deck chairs with two towels. What surprised me is that there are 5-6 lifeguards at each pool all the time! Almost the right behavior in the water, they react immediately! This is a big plus! There is also a free visit to the water park for residents.
The hotel, rooms, and grounds are very clean! They clean, wipe, wash, and sweep constantly.
Food! We had half board! Breakfast and a choice of lunch or dinner! The prices in restaurants and on the Swedish line surprised us very unpleasantly. We arrived at the hotel at 08:00. They check in at 14:00. We checked in and waited for the check-in hour! While we were waiting, we went to breakfast (Swedish line) breakfast was paid. Breakfast cost 350 dirhams for two people. This is about 10000.00 rubles. Not cheap. But we must pay tribute to the fact that the Swedish line there in the morning and in the evening is gorgeous. There is everything!!! Please everyone! Vegetarians, athletes, vegans, raw foodists, meat eaters, sweet tooth, gluttons, etc. Absolutely everyone will be full. There are also a lot of restaurants on the territory. The average check without alcohol is 5000-6000 per person. Alcohol, guys, is a separate topic. All liquids, including water, are charged, except for the room and the pool. For example: a cup of tea - 900.00rubles. A glass of white wine - 3000,00 rubles, a bottle of champagne 375ml - 18000,00. That, right?
Returning to nutrition. Opposite the hotel, across the highway, there is a small shopping center. It has two restaurants! Uzbek cuisine and fish! We did not go to the fish shop, the Uzbek restaurant is very, very tasty, the portions are huge and the average check is 2500.00 rubles per person! It would seem? I crossed the road and the prices are already more than twice cheaper! By the way, there is also a supermarket there. Nice prices and a large assortment.
For those who may have an unforeseen situation with cash in local currency! Since the cards of the Russian Federation do not work there, you can contact representatives of travel agencies who are at the hotel or visit the hotel and they solve this problem in two accounts. Everything is simple. You transfer funds to a Russian card and they provide a cache at a very good rate.
To sum up, I can say that we were very pleased with our stay at this hotel, but we must either take full board or be financially secure for the period of our stay at this hotel!
