A cool museum for the whole family! This is a museum of fairy tales by Scandinavian fairy tale writers for children. From the Brothers Grimm to Tove Janson. There are houses with life-size characters. But the most original thing is the layouts of the places where fairy tales take place - from Lennebergia to the valley of the Moomins, and which you seem to fly through because you are in a cableway. You can listen to the tour in 8 languages!
A great attraction. It is somewhat similar to Disney Land and the grand layout in one bottle :)) Sit in small booths, which are essentially just a bench with a limiter, as in front, as on rides. And you drive slowly along the exposition of Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales. Before the start of the movement, the employee asks in which language the audio is needed. You name the language you need, and the audio accompaniment will be in that language. By the way, the Russian attitude is friendly and calm, no negativity, as in general today (09/17/2024) in Stockholm.
A wonderful children's museum dedicated to the fairy tales of Astrid Lindgren. It is located in a separate building, inside it, based on the works of the writer, scenes are built through which the train passes. Here you can play, travel by train and much more.
If you plan to visit Stockholm with a child of any age, then you should definitely plan a visit to the Unibaken Museum. This is an interactive museum dedicated to the heroes of Astrid Lindgren. There you can climb everywhere, play, lie on Karlsson's bed, cook in a culinary shop, ride down countless slides and, most importantly, climb on a white horse and comb its mane. There are also performances there every day, though in Swedish. And downstairs you can eat the famous meatballs with mashed potatoes. And this is only a small part of what can be done in the museum. But it is absolutely necessary to take a trip on a suspension road through the fabulous world of Lindgren's books, choosing the Russian language. The child's age can be any age. We were with our five-year-old granddaughter, and with teenage schoolchildren. And my wife and I were sooooo interested there.
An amazing museum for children and adults! It is nice that the staff speak Russian well. I am delighted with the journey on the train to the fairy tales of Astrid Lindgren! What kind of decorations, a lot of little things that you just want to consider. By the way, you can also include a fairy tale in Russian. Then you can play in Pippi Longstocking's house, and if you're lucky, you can watch the play (in Swedish). After the performance, children can play in the numerous playground rooms. There is also a cozy cafe with sweets, and a souvenir shop.
Astrid Lindgren's stunning interactive museum, a game space. It will definitely be very interesting for children under the age of 8. There are several play areas in the museum where you can touch and play everything: Villa Pippi Longstocking with an attic and a real slide, Carlson's house. Theatrical performances are held several times a day, it is interesting and understandable even without knowledge of the Swedish language. But the main highlight is the train through the author's fairy tales with an audio guide in different languages (there is also Russian). This is an interesting journey with unexpected twists that surprises even adults. Each train carriage accommodates a maximum of 4 people, but they are individual for each company of visitors, without outsiders. On the territory of the museum there is a cafe with a very interesting design for children, a souvenir shop with the heroes of Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales. The expositions of the game spaces change, so it is interesting to visit more than once (we visited three times in different years).
Even the toilet room (I'm only responsible for the girls' room) is unusually decorated, there are "family" cabins with two doors to one room - a standard door for mom and a small one for a child, there is a baby pot.
I was very impressed by the children's museum: you can touch everything, play, travel...You can spend the whole day with children, everything is provided for this and a meal area, shops, souvenirs, etc. I told our museum staff about this and they also changed something in our children's museum. I dream of going there again with my youngest son.
An interesting place to visit for both children and adults. At the time of the visit on 24. 02, the cost was only 2.5 t.p. for two adults and we really had fun from the bottom of our hearts. I also really liked the fabulous train. In general, I recommend visiting!)
You definitely need to go with the children and count not for 40-50 minutes, but for 3-4 hours, there is a whole complex and you can have a delicious lunch right there.
Everything is well done, you can run, jump around the scenery, everything is as accessible and fun as possible!
For me, a great lover of Astrid Lindgren, it was a great pleasure to immerse myself in the warmth and kindness of her fairy tales. The most interesting thing, of course, is a trip along the suspension road in the museum. I've never seen anything like it.
the child was there all day and it was difficult to get out of this children's entertainment center! a charming center with its own features

As a teenager, she visited the museum for the first time and since then dreamed of bringing her unborn child there. This weekend the dream came true :) The museum is still wonderful, and the fabulous train is just something incredible! Considering the size of the place and how old it is, it is impossible to imagine that such a thing is possible inside! Everything else is also magical - houses and courtyards from fairy tales, jumpers, climbing walls and other fun things. There is also a cafe and a gift shop - a paradise for Astrid Lingren lovers.
Children's Fairy Tale Museum. For me, as an adult, I liked the theatrical production of Pippi longstocking, a train ride in a fabulous town and a photo on a chandelier.
A little bit of everything is not enough, but when there is no pandemonium and too big a crowd, it is quite enough. An interesting train of fairy tales, delicious food in the cafe.
Everyone writes that it is interesting for children, but I will say that it was also very interesting for 43-year-olds), I'm not usually the main thing, thank you
This is an incredible place! Every visit to Stockholm-we are here))))the delight does not leave me on the bench along the route of fairy tales! And no matter how much it is, tears come!!!!
A worthwhile place to visit with children. The only thing that needs time to go to this museum with children is to allocate at least two hours. There is a cafe, not bad.
