A nice and pleasant place. We were hospitably welcomed and escorted here, polite and attentive service, despite the fact that we arrived in the evening, when most of the tourists had left, no one drove us, helped with the choice of dishes (there are not many of them here, but everything is national) the food was brought quickly. Everything is fresh and delicious. We ordered an Abkhazian lunch, which included hominy with smoked homemade cheese, dried meat and beans in a sauce with spices, khachapur round and a boat, French fries, feijoa compote and green tea. There was also an ear, so she had delicious broth and vegetables, and the fish was not tasty, too soft, as if it had been frozen many times, maybe I was unlucky. The view is beautiful on the lake!!! Another wish to the cafe owners to improve the service is to choose pleasant, instrumental, soft, unobtrusive music, then the pastime will be even better. When slotting or loud songs are played, it spoils the impression of the splendor of nature and the power of the mountains and turns into a "collective farm beach in Anapa". We were on an excursion, took us with a group to this cafe for lunch. The service is fast, the view is beautiful from the cafe, but that's where all the advantages end. The price of pilaf is about 600 rubles (a small portion), it turned out to be the worst pilaf I've tried. Cucumber salad, tomato, onion with butter - 500 rubles (vegetables are cut into huge chunks, the portion is average. Pita bread is disgusting - not fresh, over-dried. Mors is water with a lot of sugar (it is impossible to drink). A small portion of potatoes is 350 rubles. The toilet is a creepy hellhole, paid))) I saw around that there were cafes where the price tag was lower and the food looked much more appetizing.

The cafe is not very good. We didn't have lunch in the main building, we were sitting in a building on the shore, but the food is still prepared in the main building. The food is not a real delight, dear. It's better to take a couple of photos and leave without ordering anything. Yes, in principle, it is better not to eat at Lake Ritz, it is better to enjoy the place, and leave preference for other restaurants for food.

In the cafe itself, the kebab is unrealistically salty, the meat of the Abkhazian is very bitter, in general, whatever was ordered, everything somehow did not thank God ((( We had a lot of people, so there were not a few orders. The obligation is +10% for the service. Which is also a controversial issue, for this, you can also pay visitors to enter the cafe. Food is almost thrown in the face, it's good that it's almost... The only thing that they got in my opinion was a compote from heifoa, but it's hard to spoil it. So the views from the cafe are great, and that's it, if there is an opportunity to eat elsewhere, I advise you to use this opportunity if you do not want to be disappointed. If you look simple and money doesn't fall out of your pockets, then you will be treated badly, to put it mildly! This is a terrible place!!! We were taken on an excursion to another institution (according to reviews, they read that everything was bad there), we decided to look into the "cafe museum", we waited for the waitress for 15 minutes, as a result, I came up myself and asked us to serve, received the answer: "wait 2 minutes" the girl stood further with her friend discussing photos on the phone and laughing.
It took 10 minutes (I remind you that we came with an excursion and time is limited for food) a young lady with a dissatisfied expression came up to us and asked: "well?" and tossing a lock of black hair with her head to the side turned over a page of a notebook. We ordered kharcho, shish kebab, fries, khachapuri in Adjarian (there is no khachapuri in the menu, in fact there is) I attach the photo below
The waiter brought the food, with the same displeased face, there is a huge bone in the kharcho, khachapuri is just bread with cheese and an egg in a hole, (there is no cheese in the sides, the core is one dough, there is almost no cheese) fried fries that smelled of old butter.
As a result, we ate and asked for the bill, a tip of about 10% has already been added to the bill.

Don't take the barbecue there, we just threw it away. It is not possible to eat it, it is like rubber.
Hominy is a normal, specific dish. For an amateur. I've tried it once and I'll never order it again.
Feihua compote is delicious.
But...
outdoor cafes and swarms of bees are flying around, for whom this is normal, then stop. The children and I are very afraid of them. Well, do something with them already!!!!

Disgusting, but at the same time super expensive food, ear - water with carrots, whole potatoes and a piece of fish, absolutely tasteless, lamb kebab for 1000 rubles is solid fat and bones, salted and burned to coals... A salad of yellowed cucumbers and a tomato with a bunch of onions... And everything like that... Moreover, tips are necessarily included in the bill. The result is a huge score, zero fun!

There are few dishes on the menu, we managed to try a dinner of dzhigit: beef, hominy, bean sauce, cheese, for 4 out of 5, the dish is specific, but this time we liked it, we tried it not for the first time, shish kebab, with sauce, 5 out of 5 beef in Abkhazian 5 out of 5 I liked the most, the dish is a little spicy, and contains a lot of meat with vegetables, the salad is delicious with vegetables in the gravy, they ate delicious and left satisfied! The waiter is a good guy, advised everything and was very hospitable, we were in the house-museum of Abkhazian cuisine NART, located on the left side of the observation deck, next to the shooting range, almost at the end.

The place is beautiful. But.. they took a honey cake, it was dry and probably old. I hope it was at least safe and sanitary.. the Adjarian boat seems to be quite good, but the egg, as they wrote in the reviews, is raw. And it shouldn't be like that. In general, it's not the best place.

We ordered French fries for the child, after some time they bring a small plastic plate with potato scraps with the words: "Oh, we're out of fries, well, it's okay, you're going to eat this?".
+ my family and I waited 20 minutes for the bill, they forgot about us 3 times, we had to play the girl with non-reciprocal love and constantly remind ourselves..
The food is disgusting, the service (for which, by the way, they ask for 10%) is zero, and the prices are Moscow)))

During the entire bus tour of Abkhazia in 40 degree heat, this is the only place where we could eat without fear of poisoning. The boats were made in our oven, very tasty with a soft-boiled egg and pieces of butter. That's how many khachapuri I tried in Adjarian - I couldn't figure out what was good about them. I really liked it here. Plus, they were quickly packed into a cardboard box and we were able to eat normally all day. The staff is polite, but the prices, of course, are higher than in Moscow.

Oh! So we're not the only ones who are so lucky? We also wanted to see the local natural beauty and were looking for a parking place. Abbas is the first to show us to go down by car, saying that there is parking there. We went down, another Abkhazian met us there and said that parking was paid or we needed to eat at this cafe. Since we were hungry, we readily agreed. There were wooden tables and wooden benches, laminated plastic menus on the table. In general, it is not rich , but it seemed to me quite good and even nice. It struck the nostalgia of 2000. The waiter came , but I had to call, because no one was in a hurry to have an interesting conversation with us. We ordered a Dzhigit lunch, something like that, a glass of wine and an Adjarian boat.
The boat was more or less edible, even if not the best. But let's put her 4, the wine was brought in a faceted glass and warm. We asked why the wine was warm, to which we received the answer: the refrigerator does not work. Fire! Well, okay with that, the country is not rich, the people are too. But lunch... a few pieces of chicken meat that don't look very appetizing. Hominy and sauce were also included and cabbage pills. In short, only cabbage was edible for lunch. In total, I ate half a boat and cabbage.... The bill was brought for 1700, and even the service is 10% mandatory payment. But they left 1,700 and stayed hungry.. I told my young man: if they feed like that everywhere here, then they cook terribly here!! In general, thank you for at least not being poisoned. And it probably saved us that we didn't eat much. During our vacation, we ate in many places, but it was so tasteless only here! It is better to eat a doshirak with bread than what they call national food in this institution. It should be a shame. Tourists are your bread after all.

Not tasty. We ordered grilled trout and a boat. The trout was bitter, there was almost no cheese in the boat, the dough was also so-so.
We started the service quickly, but alas, we forgot to bring the fish, we had to look for it ourselves.
The tangerine juice was not delicious, perhaps because it was not yet the season.

Disgusting cafe, dirty tables, tasteless inedible food, price tag like in Moscow restaurants. For the first time I meet khachapuri with egg without cheese, "meat in Abkhazian" I thought it was meat on lavash with salad and they brought a red spicy soup with a huge amount of onions and 1 small piece of meat for 600 rubles!
If you don 't know how to cook , close the place and don 't poison people .
One star for the lake view .
Stray dogs walk and pester tourists.
We were brought there with an excursion, the whole impression was spoiled.
10% for the service is just arrogance for such a dirty table and waiting.

We ordered a khachapuri boat with egg and cheese and pilaf.
Khachapuri was already cooked, stale and cold. He asked the waitress to warm it up, she touched it with her bare hand and said it was hot.
Pilaf is not pilaf, but rice porridge with vegetables. I feel sorry for the meat, they transferred it...
At the checkout they give some kind of piece of paper and like go pick it up for yourself in the window.
The depth of Lake Ritsa is 116 meters. Somewhere there is a level of service at this depth.

We were on a guided tour. It fits more into the category of "street fast food" somewhere on the coast of Portugal))). At the same time, the plates and tables were clean, the dishes were cleaned quickly, and the delicious smells of fresh cooking food. We took tea, hominy and trout. It's delicious, they didn't get poisoned, the sensations from the food and the view from the tables are positive.
I'll give you a minus point for the bathrooms. They can cause a cultural shock for those who have never been to the village.

Trout is something that is quite difficult to spoil, BUT!!!! she was burnt on one side and the "cherry on the cake"!!! - for some reason, they poured barbecue sauce on it and poured onions on it! Therefore, if you do not want surprises, it is better to immediately clarify about the submission. French fries are the only thing that could be eaten from the order, although they do not taste the best..... And at the end of the disgusting meal is the service!!!! They asked for the bill several times, because they really wanted to take a walk, and time was limited, no one was in a hurry to provide it, the waitresses were sitting at neighboring tables and counting the proceeds, I had to personally go after him. And what a surprise it was that in addition to the ordered one trout, for some reason there were two in the bill, maybe they just got mixed up, or maybe they were a SUCKER....(I highly recommend checking it out). The place is just terrible!!!, and all these tales of guides, about delicious food, are outright lies!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone!!! The horror! The horror! The horror!!!!! How to find it: The cafe is located upstairs, you will go up, it will be on your right (overlooking the Ritz) wooden benches and tables, a very tired greasy menu, a laminated sheet.

We waited for the menu for 10 minutes, while we took the order for another 15 minutes. It was cooked quickly. When they asked for an invoice, they just announced the amount of 3,500. To the question where is the bill, you can count the answer from the menu. Counting even with 10% service, it turned out to be less than 3000 rubles. We decided not to spoil our mood, but the sediment remained. I do not recommend it.

The place is just terrible, the prices are exorbitant for such quality, lamb kebab for almost 900 rubles. terrible, the grilled vegetables are the same, everything just burned down, and the lamb was probably dead for several years already. We fed everything to the local dogs, we just tried it ourselves, no kidding, even though the furry ones were pleased. There is no service as such, toilets are generally a shock for any person who has seen in his life something other than a "point" in the ground. Even if the guide/ driver brought you to this place, get up and leave. We didn't get poisoned, but the piece of shish kebab that we tried was still felt all day. The views are very beautiful, the mountains, the lake. But in general, everything related to service, amenities, safety, hygiene and cleanliness is not here. And while you and I are going to "eat" it, we will also be milked and nothing will be changed, if you want "for people" - definitely not to this resort.
And for decent people who have learned the delights of urbanization, educated, from large cities, especially Moscow, the discovery may be the presence of a bunch of compatriots who came out of the Stone Age, with appropriate behavior, vocabulary and all the ensuing signs of provincial limits.
