Must have to visit.
A very interesting museum, very friendly staff and guides.
There is a great souvenir shop. Moreover, it is not Chinese stamped consumer goods that are sold, but a wide range of handmade products by local craftsmen.
Please note that the ascent to the observation deck is only with a guide.
A very good museum, the guide explained everything in detail. Beautiful and interesting artifacts from the past, there is a layout of the Kamenetsky Tower and the like. The atmosphere is very good, I have already been there more than 5 times, and I do not regret it
It's an amazing place, I've wanted to visit it since I was a schoolboy. The guides are very pleasant, the 40-minute tour is very interesting, time flies by instantly. I definitely advise you to visit!
The service upset Belarus. And that's why. A turret, several floors. In my opinion, there are more expositions in one tower of the Mir Castle than in this one. For visiting 7.5 b.r. and something about the tour, I did not listen, it is not particularly interesting, when I remember from history that the gentry constantly claimed these lands. On two floors I met couples with children and guides - I frankly felt sorry for the children, they just fell asleep and rushed away from boredom, the parents pretended to listen, do you think they will remember something?... Remember yourself when you were young... And now the moment of disappointment is near. I read an advertisement on the Russian website - access to the upper open area, that was the only thing that attracted me. We went up to the top floor, the exit to the top is closed. Surprise, and a question to the caretaker on the floor. Answer: To the top only when ordering an excursion with a guide - 25 b.p. So I do not need an excursion, I can read on the stands myself. Let's just pay extra for the exit... Satisfy: We do not have such a service - only with a guided tour. ... In general, the town is about nothing, some kind of attraction is small and everyone will feed off it. Well done, they have come up with a great way to feed the guides as well... But the taste is unpleasant. It's like the whole country dumped libraries on the construction site in Minsk, but to make the entrance for Belarusians free at least once - the toad strangled.
I was in this tower for the second time, but this time with an excursion that I bought on the spot. A bonus from the tour: in addition to the history of the tower, it is an opportunity to climb to the observation deck.
Take the time to visit this unique tower - it's worth it.
And I will also note parking, a decent toilet, a cafe across the street with a business lunch at pleasant prices with good quality.
We had a very interesting time! I recommend everyone to visit the tower, and definitely with an excursion. The tour is available at any time and for any number of visitors, which is very convenient.
During our week-long trip to cities and towns, there was the most interesting excursion, the coolest views, the most interesting exposition. Of the minuses - Monday and Tuesday are days off)
Somewhere inside, very deeply, I understand the people working at the box office and in the museum, I don't really want to strain for a salary, it would be my own, the attitude was completely different.
And now I will explain: we came to this place on the recommendation of a guide from Belovezhskaya Pushcha, by the way, a very pleasant and knowledgeable person, it is probably not appropriate to voice the name. We arrived at 17.00, the tower museum is open until 17.30, we just wanted to go up to the top and take a couple of photos, but no: the ticket office said that only with a guide, and only until 16.30. Well, that's the whole story, and who read it - well done!!! We didn't get positive emotions... Very sorry.
It's a very interesting place. There is a lot to see in the tower, you can get acquainted with the history at the stands or book a tour. It is impressive that it has been preserved in this condition, considering the year of construction. The city is pleasant, there is a cozy cafe nearby. We are glad that we visited this place
A very atmospheric place! Be sure to pay for the services of a guide and in addition to learning a lot of interesting things, you will get an incredible view from the observation deck of the tower
A great place, the guide Ilya told everything clearly, plus we went up to the roof of the tower, the person is really in his place. Definitely worth a visit to this place.
The Kamenetsky Tower is a defensive structure of the 13th century. Personally, I have not met such structures, this is a fortification that was widespread in the XIII–XIV centuries in the western lands.
The height of the tower is 29.4 m, the walls are made of red brick, the tower is shaped like a cylinder, divided into five tiers. The walls of all tiers are equipped with loopholes, who knows who fired from them at the enemies?
I liked the exposition, it was interesting.
The area around the tower is paved with paving stones, the restrooms are located in the pavilion next to it.
I definitely recommend you to visit.
An interesting museum, an original design inside. It is worth visiting on the way to Belovezhskaya Pushcha. They are not allowed to enter the upper observation deck one at a time, only as part of a guided tour.
Overall, the impression is good. An interesting place. Beautiful views.
You can go to the museum, but you can only get to the observation deck at the top of the tower with a guide, of whom there are not many and you have to wait an hour until he returns with the previous group. This is very strange, I advise you to book the tour in advance. The place itself is incredibly beautiful and ancient. The tower is impressive.
Nothing special. The tower is like a tower. Everything is neat and clean. There is a museum inside the tower. Overall, the place is beautiful. I recommend it for connoisseurs of history.
This tower is beautiful!!! I recommend you to visit, and be sure to take a guided tour.
The tour and the tower itself were very impressive. An indescribable feeling of contact with history.
A quiet and inconspicuous town. Clean and pleasant. We arrived at about noon hungry and hungry. Everything is closed except for one cafe. But there was nothing to eat there except pies with coffee or tea. But thanks for that too. True, there was also a pizzeria, but it took about thirty minutes to wait, and at first we decided to take a walk and then time ran out. It was necessary to rush on. In general, there is nothing to see except the tower. Therefore, stop by only on the way. Special respect to the locals. Everyone from children to adults greeted and congratulated on the holiday. And the best part was that we were so worried about our stomach that we had to take information about local catering outlets for about half an hour. Thanks a lot to them for that.
There are no disadvantages. Only the advantages. Thanks to Belarus for preserving and restoring this unique monument. An interesting tour that will be remembered by both adults and children. And a stunning view of the city and the surrounding area from the height of the tower!👍👌
Unfortunately, I was not inside - I ended up in Kamianets on Monday (a day off at the museum). But it's really cool outside. Both the tower and the area near it. And the city is very good
They didn't go inside. It's a pity that you can't go upstairs without a guided tour. But the outside is very nice and tidy. The photos turned out perfectly
Everything is good, beautiful, etc. But the most important disadvantage is that you cannot climb to the top of the tower on your own. Only with a guide and after listening to the tour...
On the way to Belovezhskaya Pushcha, you can stop in the town of Kamenets and explore the ancient watchtower. Inside the tower there is a small but capacious museum covering the history of the city and the tower itself. Inside there are 5 tiers, a spiral staircase in the middle leads up to the wooden arch itself. You will not be able to get to the teeth on your own, only with an excursion. There is a parking lot nearby. On the square in front of the tower there is a ticket office, a toilet and a souvenir shop. There are no people at all for the May holidays of 2024, so you could safely take pictures.
I put 5*, but I can't say anything in detail about the museum, and I don't want to spoil the statistics for the museum. We looked at the tower from the outside, took pictures, but did not go into the museum itself - we were very tired and had to go further to Brest. We are tired because we were in Belovezhskaya Pushcha before. We wanted to see the bison... yeah! To get to them, you need to walk a pretty decent distance of several kilometers. Add to this the heat of 31 degrees... 🥵🥵 So, unfortunately, it was no longer up to the museum in the tower. Although, if the weather had been different, we would have come in.
This is a very atmospheric and interesting place, the children also liked it. Be sure to check on excursions, because with an excursion you can go to the roof
An interesting and atmospheric place. it's very cool that there are free days, my family and I were lucky to get on such a day and we visited the Kamenetsky Vezhi Museum for free. However, there is a caveat - if you want a photo inside, you need to pay (about 2.5 rubles)
The place is interesting, the second time there, but it's not worth going specifically straight from afar, except for deviating a little from the route.
It was 30.04.2024 on a pre-holiday day, but there was not a word about the fact that the day was shorter, well, at least they would have written by hand. Fortunately, we managed to do it.
It was unpleasant that the tickets were already punched at a new price, higher, from 05/01/2024 - a trifle, but unpleasant.
I do not remember that 2 or 3 years ago they took money for photography, and the prices, especially video shooting, are just space: 14.40rB, which at the rate of 1x35 = 504p.
There is a separate conversation about the exit to the observation deck. The price list was poorly readable in the sun, but no one wanted to offer it, they say, find out for yourself, and how do you know if when I was there earlier I also did not know about it and no one offered it either.
So it turns out there is a place, but there is no service. I won't write anything about the excursions - I didn't find out.
I put 4 stars and 2 cons in my mind just for a beautiful place.
A magnificent architectural monument. Do not regret to cooperate with other people and click on the guide. The fact is that it is he who will take you to the observation deck at the top. They won't let you in just like that.
The story is interesting and not tedious.
The view from the top is cool. Inside, it's also interesting how it was live.
It is very interesting and informative. I especially liked the layout of the tower in the context with informative layouts of what was located and where.
It's a good place. If you stop by, do not spare the money, take a tour, without it this place will not open, it will be like everywhere else, stones, exhibits, a couple of photos and empty time. Thanks to the guide, he's good, it's eerily interesting.
A wonderful place, very beautiful, the tower itself is impressive in size. The guide is just great. He tells it very interestingly. The exposition also deserves attention.
It's amazing that you can literally touch the building of the 13th century! And now you can get inside! And if there is a tour group, then you can climb to the upper platform, the views from there are very beautiful!
It is not a very popular place among tourists. But it is very significant for Belarus. I recommend taking a guided tour, from which you can go upstairs to the observation deck.
It's a good museum. You can see how the terrain has changed over the years.
I had a very pleasant impression.
Responsive employees who tell a story. I want to visit in the summer so that I can get to the observation deck (roof).
We were here on a fairly cool and windy day. Nevertheless, I was very impressed by the view of the tower and its history, which was told by the guide. It is amazing that the only one of all the towers has been preserved.
We ordered an excursion. The guide is a bomb, a young man, unfortunately I do not remember the name. A person is passionate about his profession, loves it, loves the city, knows the history. We got aesthetic pleasure, everything fell into place in my head. If someone gathers at the vezha, I recommend this guide. You really won't regret it.
Tower (Vezha) . 40 km from Brest, in the town of Kamenets, there is a defense watchtower with the romantic name Belaya Vezha. It was built at the end of the 13th century. The tower stands on a hill, so that from its height of 35 meters the surroundings are perfectly visible.
I almost drove by. We looked in with our family, took an excursion, only with it you can get to the observation deck on the roof. And they didn't regret it. A good guide, he told everything very interestingly, an hour flew by not noticeably. We touched more than six hundred years of history. It turned out to be very interesting for children. I recommend it!
It was in October 2024. There's not much to see, I didn't buy tickets inside. A little visited place by tourists, but...there is a place to take a picture around. A beautiful Bison monument stands there.
An impressive monument. A very interesting museum. I really liked the guide: he knows a lot, gives information easily and easily - thank you very much for an interesting tour.
An excellent medieval building, one of the few that have survived to this day. Climbing up, you can imagine what kind of views there were when the river was still full-flowing. This tower is depicted on a 5-ruble bill.
A quiet and beautiful place. The tour inside the tower is paid and you can climb to the top of the tower. You can just walk around. There is a toilet, a souvenir shop is also nearby
I really liked this place. Not only the tower itself, which turned out to be larger than I expected, but also its surroundings.
For those who want to touch the history - Kamenetskaya
Take a tour, you won't regret it! You can only get to the top with a guided tour, but this is wonderful, because the tour is very bright, clear, fast and interesting!
An interesting place, you can go inside, take a tour. Please note that access to the observation deck is possible only if it is not hotter than 30 degrees outside.
