We visited this restaurant in the afternoon. The service was reasonable and the quality of the food was good at a reasonable price for its location. I personally think that this place could be so much better than it is. It has the potential to be a top class restaurant in a prime location.I would highly recommend looking at and extending its menu choices and possibly changing the atmosphere of the place. Please note this is not a criticism at all .I just feel that the place could be so much more. Would certainly return for lunch 🙂

For me, a good restaurant is when everything is combined in one place: good cuisine, a pleasant and thoughtful interior, a short menu that strictly reflects the concept of the institution, and, of course, people who create the vibe and atmosphere that defines my place or I got there by mistake. Traveling around Belarus and reaching Brest, I realized that I couldn't help but enter an institution with that name and the design of the hall. Again, it was important for me to have dinner in places where the national cuisine is represented. I liked everything here - the speed of service, thoughtful interior design, where it's nice to see the details chosen in a non-random way, and very good and hospitable service. Polina, who served my table, kindly, insanely charming and as if I were visiting her, advised the dishes, warned my wishes and made the evening very cozy. Thank you. I definitely recommend it.

To be honest, it's delicious, but
... but not enthusiastic.
The draniki are a little dry, a little overcooked.
I also ordered a pickle and dumplings.
It's just good, homemade food.
I also took beer - ale (old Bobby), a very good (red) ale.
Polite staff, you can see that they really try.
We were (4 people) on May 8 at about 16.00.
We sat down calmly, without waiting, and ate in 1.5 hours.
When they left, there was already a queue.
Well, the main question!
Would I recommend this restaurant to my friends and acquaintances?

Wow, it's a nice place!!! The city center. Everything from the entrance group to the stands on the table and the envelopes for the bill is made and stylized in a very interesting way. The menu consists of dishes of national cuisine, they know how to cook deliciously, and the service is also excellent. While we were waiting for the food, we went out on the balcony to take some super photos with a view of the evening Brest. The Kaza restaurant in Brest is a cozy establishment with a pleasant atmosphere, where elements of modern design and traditional notes are combined. The interior is stylish, but without pathos, there is both a dining area and more intimate corners for dinner.
Cuisine and dishes:
🍽 The menu is diverse: from European cuisine to Belarusian motifs. Especially memorable:
- Beef steak— juicy, well-fried (ordered medium), with a delicious side dish.
- Mushroom pancakes— authentic and delicious!
🍷 Drinks:a good wine list and signature cocktails.

The waiters are polite, they know the menu, they were prompted with a choice. The only thing was that it was a little busy in the evening, so we waited about 20 minutes for the order.

Above the city average, but consistent with the quality. Dinner with wine for two — about 100-120 BYN.
Conclusion:
Kaza is a great option for a romantic dinner, meeting with friends or a family holiday. Delicious cuisine, pleasant atmosphere and decent service. I recommend it!

On New Year's Eve, a birthday was celebrated in this institution! Everything is very wonderful!!!!! The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is wonderful, and the dishes are simply a masterpiece!!!! The national Belarusian cuisine, the dishes prepared with love, reminded me of childhood, just like my grandmother's from the Russian oven in the village!!!!!! The whole family and guests were left with wonderful impressions and a lot of positive emotions!!!!! We recommend it to everyone who wants to have a good rest and eat delicious food! No stars, sound engineer........ We need to work on the repertoire.....

Among the desserts were "Drunk cherry" and "Grandmother's Brushwood". Everything was super tasty and insanely beautifully served. The service was excellent, the waiter was very attentive. The waiting time for the dishes was pleasantly surprised, the service was fast. The atmosphere is in the style of the name of the establishment. We were in Brest for only one day. On the recommendation of the guide, we had dinner at this restaurant. Starting from the wardrobe, we felt a friendly, warm and informal attitude towards the guests. I really liked everything we ordered. Both dishes of Belarusian cuisine and others. The interior is also very pleasant and original. Attentive waiters. And I would especially like to thank the team for the fact that the glasses I forgot on the table were very promptly sent back to Russia. The place is cozy, warm, the only queue on the weekend, we waited for a table for about 20 minutes. Everyone had everything very tasty, my husband took bulgur with meat, a set of tinctures. The child liked the colorful dumplings. I wasn't very lucky-I took herring with potatoes and tongue with pickles, cucumbers and herring were sooo salty (( the tongue is delicious. But everything looked beautiful.

The restaurant opened relatively recently, at the end of December 2022. Its chef Stanislav Kamenskikh specializes in national cuisine with an emphasis on modernity. They left a tip , but today they didn't leave a ruble. We come to your city all the time, several times a year, and I always tell everyone about your cozy establishment and advised them, and today I brought friends. There is no desire to visit your institution anymore. Sorry, but a holy place is never empty, teach the staff how to work. Answering calls when guests are trying to book a table , and when we arrive at the hall , we are told that you could not be answered like that and the administrator needs to be trained on how to get out of these situations beautifully .

Our Belarusian cuisine is undoubtedly very tasty. But we couldn't appreciate it in this particular restaurant. The draniki were obviously made with flour-they were too soft and faded. The machanka they were served with is more like sour cream sauce. I didn't like Vereshchak either - I could feel the soda in the thick pancakes (or fritters?).
Now the pros. The dumplings from the children's menu turned out to be very tasty and juicy - the child did not want to share, but the adults managed to try a little bit - these are really gorgeous dumplings, I believe they are made in the restaurant.
The adults liked horseradish and cranberries. But the kitchen disappointed.
The service is good, there are no questions for the waiters.

The rating obviously played a cruel joke with this restaurant. Restaurant prices are above average even for Moscow. The staff is doing an excellent job, but the kitchen is clearly in a relaxed state. The chef has a solid 2. Even in a roadside cafe, the food is tastier, but at least it's cheap there. With the exception of the children's menu, everything else was clearly over-salted. Everything related to draniki could only be eaten with hunger and great grief, which one of our company did, and the rest returned everything back to the chef. Well, at the same time, the waiting for the dishes was about an hour. In general, the restaurant's kitchen was almost not ready for the May holidays. This place was recommended to us, but I absolutely cannot recommend it, I'm sorry. If you want to spend a lot of money and go grab it all somewhere else, then go here.

We traveled around the Republic of Belarus for 4 days. We visited many different cafes/restaurants. This place turned out to be the most terrifying! The most unpalatable.
Of the positive impressions, only:
1. The lovely lady in the wardrobe
2. The presence of snails in the menu (but! In fact, it's just the presence of 🤦🏻♀️ in the menu)
Now in order:
1. The menu is quite large.
2. Prices are not the lowest or even average for Brest and the Republic of Belarus as a whole.
3. The staff is sluggish, not attentive, and not caring. During the 1.5 hours of finding and waiting for our dishes, the children and I noticed a pattern that the waiters worked only on tables where a man was present (apparently this is how they calculate how much they can earn???? But it's a very strange policy).

But our second one is like you've been to different places, the service is disgusting, the waiter doesn't remember your order at all, he's trying to take the plates and glasses away from you ahead of time. Another big disadvantage is the low number of fish dishes. On the first visit, the order included grilled vegetables - everything was great, but on the second order of the same dish, the corn was served on the cob. One of the top places in Brest, we came in the evening on a weekday, there were no places, we had to wait a bit.
They didn't understand why it was called KAZA, only the leather napkins with the image of this animal were remembered from the goat in the interior, but okay.
The waitress is polite and knows the menu well, everything is clear. The warm salad with liver is delicious, but the liver is not so tender, it was overexposed a little, but nevertheless the combination of the greens of the sauce and the liver is super! Bacon with soaked cabbage and cranberries is a bomb! Tinctures are also good, served in increasing order of degree. I really liked Koambambula in Belarus! But the hot stuff was a little disappointing, the potatoes were beautifully fried, but I didn't understand the beef in the cauldron, it was a bit bland (It's worth visiting this trendy place in the center, but some things need to be worked out.

On July 17, 2024, we were in Brest, decided to visit a place with national cuisine, Yandex navigator suggested the restaurant Kaza. A colorful and pleasant place, polite staff. The menu is quite diverse, we ordered pancakes with a sponge, a cold brew on kefir, baked ribs with a side dish and a plate with pickles. The only advantage of this establishment is the interior design. Everything else is a complete failure.:
1. Croutons with cheese and pork ears - a good portion of deep-fried croutons and a few slices of pork ears. In general, it would be fine if the hair was not found.
2. Draniki with machanka - machanka looked like a creamy sauce with 4 pieces of meat. The dish arrived so late that the sauce had already boiled and cooled.
3. Dumplings are the only dish to which there were no questions.
4. Beef patty with potatoes in a uniform (judging by the menu) - for 37 rubles you will get a tasteless brew, absolutely bland and instead of potatoes in a uniform, ordinary deep-fried fries.
5. Baked apple with ice cream is delicious.
6. Kaz's beer set is missing as a class.
7. Beer and tinctures are normal.
In general, it seemed that the cafe was designed for tourists with not the biggest requests. But for this money, you can eat much more and tastier in other establishments. The waitress forgot to punch one beer, by the way, which she did not notice and argued that they would bring it now.
I strongly do not recommend this place.
