I used the services of this branch a lot during the period of active shopping and trading on Ebay and other sites.
Before the "upgrade", the service was fast and not too boring. Now, as the so-called parcel supermarket has been made out of this department, everything has become bad. When ordering something small, looking for your thing in a basket full of the same little things from some Ali Express is a waste of time and effort. Parcels were often lost and the cell was not indicated, which made the search a worse challenge. And a couple of times my parcels were not put in the cells at all, but they actively sent me to dig into them. In such cases, only the very persistent poking of the staff helped to dig the parcel out of the bag in the corner.
In cases when I was away, and parcels came to me, my relatives, with all my documents, could not pick them up (although, the question is, what is suspicious about a person with the same surname and with all the recipient's documents).
In principle, they work well when the above circumstances do not happen. They serve you quickly if you catch your parcel. But this whole system with parcels in cells is unreliable and time–consuming nonsense, as for me, especially with the sometimes overlooked quality of work of those who sort parcels.
Fortunately, it is now possible to use the postamates. And they certainly save time on receiving parcels.
There are almost no complaints about sending. Except that the lack of the right packages is sometimes annoying. They sent garbage bags to the store once, because you can't just send them in a box. Why? What for? And who knows?
UPDATE, 1.11.24
I'm lowering it from 3 to 1, because I haven't had such a fecal aftertaste after visiting a place for a long time.
What's the point? I came to somehow pick up an order from eBay, shipped from Britain via Royal Mail without a track number.
When asked if it is possible to find out if the parcel has arrived and where it is, the employee first says that it is impossible to find it without a track number, then that if we only stumble upon it. And then how do they receive parcels? I thought I could review all the cells, asked which row is allocated to a specific street, they used to do this. The employee began to say that there were a lot of parcels and there is no such thing now. And what is the logic? If there are more parcels, wouldn't it be more logical to sort them in an organized manner by some kind of rows-areas? I was ready to search all the rows, in that case, but in response to this I heard in a threatening tone that they had cameras there and it was impossible to dig into the cells. I already started asking what would happen in the end, how will you do your job, and this employee just switched to something, only abandoning that I was interfering with her work (which, judging by the fact that I was left without a message, she does not do).
In short, we are very proud of all these progressive services, but in order to think over the details (in order to avoid the above-described situations), to work with the staff is fu, no, it's better to brag again how cool it is that we have self-service here. Disgusting.
UPDATE 2:
I called back, wrote about what happened and found the package myself. Hurray! You can't return the damaged nerves, but at least a birthday present for your wife will still fall into her hands. I will return one star for this, lol.
I mostly go to the department where they deliver parcels from China. The staff there are very attentive, they will always help if you don't know something. Also, the guards always open the door if you can't. And they will help you find the package. The service is at the highest level.
Fast service, very polite staff, convenient supermarket of parcels, as well as their tracking. Even the guards are polite and friendly 😄👍 staff help in finding parcels if difficulties arise.
Pleasant, sincere staff, responsibly approach their official duties. They do not leave any client unattended. I really liked the service. I recommend it to everyone.
About the parcels, I can say that it only got worse. Previously, all parcels were in one cell. Now, if you pick up several parcels, they are all in different places (cells). It is unclear why they did this. I did not use the rest of the services.
Out of the ordinary poor service in the post office, first of all, the parcel arrived and lay there for a week with my number indicated on it, the staff did not even deign to inform me, although it had happened more than once before, secondly, they took money from me for storage with the view that I owed them something and at the same time, having not broken the check, it became easy I don't recommend Sharashkin's office
I moved here from the Mira post office, next to the north one. I received a notification, came and took it away. I've only been in the queue twice. On average, no more than 10 minutes (taking into account the search for your parcel in the mailbox)
The building itself is historically significant, of Soviet high-quality construction.
Kazpost employees are professionally untrained, poorly versed in the products of Kazpost bank.
Nothing special. So, everything is simple. Sometimes long queues don't move for hours. Bank cards are not accepted for payment.
In the computer age, there could be more affordable amenities
To say it objectively... The mail does not have enough competitors... Programs are hanging, operators are changing like gloves because of the heavy workload and low salaries. Live queue shipments, there are still no coupons. In general, the level... I am not satisfied with the desire for fast delivery throughout Kazakhstan... People lose a lot of money because of this =(
1 for the fact that this is the central post office, and there are mainly two windows!!! And why not!!!? Just think, a lot of people are crowding into the hall - no one cares about it!!! People sit, wait, you have a whole life ahead of you))) Yes, this situation is not surprising, after talking with the staff of the post office, it turned out that the salary is PENNIES, and the requirements are wow- in general, no one wants to work there. Well, then what can I say about our mail!!!?- HORROR AND SHAME!!! I no longer go into the details that often sent parcels end up in the wrong place, the same applies to incoming parcels. And also that the delivery time of parcels also leaves much to be desired, but this is about Kazpost in general, not about this particular branch in particular... That's how it is.
RK, North Kazakhstan region, Petropavlovsk, 61 Pushkin Street, incoming parcels are sorted for several days, or there is a shortage of sorting staff or they are all lazy
The staff is working just to work. NOT FOR PEOPLE!
In my opinion, the whole system needs reforms. The parcel is delivered from the station to the main post office for 2 days! It is not conceivable.. 21st century.
The most complete managers and maintenance staff can get up and leave for 15 minutes without explaining anything🤦♂️ it feels like they are working for a cup of rice
The postmarket is beautiful and convenient. The SMS service is driving.
Among the disadvantages, there is no coffee machine and air conditioning. With a large crowd of people, it becomes unbearably stuffy.
