We have been to many places in Tbilisi, this restaurant is in the first place. Very large portions, Shkmeruli chicken or just shkmeruli in the photo, the two of us ate it, barely ate it. Be sure to try their mushroom cream soup. It's the best soup I've ever tasted. On cream, it's delicious. The prices are lower than in the restaurants of the old town. 15 percent for the service, but considering the low prices and simply huge portions and high quality, it's still the best ratio. The interior is very decent. When my husband came in, he asked if the prices were exactly that low, because the interior of the restaurant was good.
The restaurant itself is located on the way to the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
We liked this restaurant the most.

Excellent service. Russian Russian is on the menu, the waiters speak Russian. Waiting for dishes for 10 minutes.
And the price is very reasonable , and I would even say cheap.

Khinkali is great. In general, the kitchen is great! The kebab and kebab were very tasty. And khinkali is generally the standard. It is necessary to take the reference satsebeli sauce and draft Kindzmarauli with them. They don't sell such wine in Russia! Delicious and no consequences in the morning. Khachapuri in Adjarian is very tasty, but it feels very natural cheese. Very large portions. Everything is very tasty. The prices are more than acceptable, but keep in mind that there is a 15% service fee.
Now about the maintenance.
The waiters are all friendly, they will explain and prompt everything, they work quickly, almost always. The room is comfortable, the tables are all isolated, so you will not be disturbed by neighbors. Large tables and comfortable upholstered sofas. There is a little bit of entourage missing, some paintings. There is live music in the evenings, but it is for an amateur. There is a terrace, but you need to look at the weather, it can be hot. This is not the first time in Georgia. There were establishments in the area next to this one. But the Khinkali house only got to the end of the vacation. Avlabari metro station is nearby. A chic restaurant in terms of price and quality. I know what I'm talking about, because I spent breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. Live music in the evenings. The outdoor roof terrace of the restaurant opens from 19.00. There are two levels for tables in the main hall, as well as a lower level in the basement. Aquariums with fish. The service to us was quite pleasant and understandable. The waiters were talking in Russian. The menu is standard for Georgian cuisine. Prices for Tbilisi are affordable, even taking into account the service fee of 15%. It's worth it. The dishes are cooked quickly, you didn't have to wait for no more than 20 minutes for all three times on different days for sure. Khinkali was excellent with everything: mushrooms, meat, etc. Draught wine from a glass to a liter is served in carafes. The price starts from 9 lari per liter. We really liked the wine. The average check for four people, including wine and collection, was 80 lari. Two adults, one 18-year-old teenager and a 7-year-old child. We ate everything and it was satisfying. I recommend it to everyone 100%.

So it's better not to be greedy. The draught wine is delicious, you can take it safely. There are a lot of locals, which is an indicator of a good institution. Order khinkali from 5 pieces of one of the types, that is, if you want to try both cheese and meat khinkali, you will have to order at least 5 pieces each. Meat khinkali + is good, cheese salt is solid, cheese is gum. The kebab is delicious. The service is so-so, several waiters are fussy, and the establishment is not small, they treat Russians under a question mark. Lemonade is only warm in this weather. The atmosphere is normal, soft sofas, etc. The toilet and Wi-Fi are free. Keep in mind that 15% of the tax will be included in the bill, maybe this is normal, but definitely not all establishments have this. She'll go grab a bite for lunch. Therefore, only 3 stars.

I ordered a glass of kindzmarauli, branded soda, grilled bread and vegetables, tomato and tkemali sauces... The barbecue arrived...four pieces))).. I haven't eaten such dry meat in Russia for a hundred years... somehow I chewed two pieces, but I couldn't get into my throat anymore).. I decided to take it to the kitchen for the cook to try.. Unfortunately, khinkali is also not tasty. They are too salty and there are absolutely no aromatic spices like in other establishments in Tbilisi. The service is at zero, they didn't even apologize.

This is the most terrible "restaurant" in Tbilisi that we have visited. No one greets you at the entrance, you will be greeted by a strong smell from the kitchen. Cucumber salad and tomato with nut dressing have never been served so badly anywhere else, pepper, which should not be included in this salad, was put there and not cleaned. There is no service at all, the waiters will not see you, endless hissing if you need to replace something or order something else. Oh, this is my favorite place in Tbilisi. Amazing cuisine, wonderful staff. Of the 7 days spent in Tbilisi, 5 had dinner there. We liked it better on the roof. In the evenings, there is amazing live music-saxophone. The lights of the city, the coolness of the evening, the enchanting sounds of the saxophone, all this creates a magical atmosphere. And I want to come back again and again.

The place left a disgusting impression, and the smell of the kitchen, the stench from the kitchen is very strong, I even had to wash my clothes. I borrowed it, so to speak, and waited for it to be removed. They cleaned up, and the waiter brought the menu. I said I was ready to order right away. I knew the menu. He waved his hand and said that's not how they do it. I waited another 10 minutes. She called a taxi and went to another place.
