We rested in Amr, category 1 room, with a balcony overlooking the sea, the nature is very beautiful. The room itself is well renovated, the air conditioner is working, there is water, Wi-Fi is good, the refrigerator in the room; the lights are often turned off, every other day for sure, the toilet stinks of sewage. Upon check-in, they give out a piece of soap, etc. paper. There's a kettle in the hallway, glad.board. 2 elevators . It seems to be good, relatively clean, new tiles on the floor. There are stalls with pastries, ice cream, etc. on the territory, there is a cafe with live music, a Ferris wheel works. There are no sun beds, there are few people on the beach because there is a lot of space, an endless shore))). BUT do not take rooms with meals, I have vacationed in Abkhazia with meals a lot, it is the worst here, monotonous and not tasty. For breakfast, cottage cheese from a substitute, sausage is the cheapest, sausage cheese from palm trees.oils. Pancakes are rubber, gray.Cucumbers, tomatoes. For lunch, cutlets that can not be eaten, smelly, stewed watery cabbage, etc. There is garbage in the porridge. There is no dessert, sometimes there are cookies "fish")))There are a lot of people in the dining room, there is always a queue, there are no tables. The dishes are plastic.There is no air conditioning in the dining room. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are given 1.5 hours, with such a number of people, a very small interval. For this money, it is better to eat in a cafe at a convenient time.

We rested here in September. Amazing nature : relict pines, the amazing color of the sea, dolphins... That's why we come here. About nutrition: soups, cutlets and meatballs are not edible at all, instant coffee, green and black tea in Lisma bags. Porridge, for lovers (not tasty). Once a week for breakfast there was an omelet, cottage cheese every other day, sour cream daily.There are always vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage in different types, carrots, beets, salads. Mayonnaise, sour cream, ketchup, vegetable oil, mustard, adjika - always. Pilaf and boiled chicken are edible. There is no meat, only offal. There are many cafes on the territory, where they serve delicious food and live music in the evenings. About the renovation and furniture in the rooms as you are lucky. The water was not turned off, and the lights were often on. We had the 11th floor. We waited for it to turn on, going to the sea. Conclusion: nature is magnificent! And actually, we are here for her.

The sea and the pines overshadow all the flaws. Clear water, the smell of pine needles, the crackle of cicadas, nature is at its height.
Advantages
of the Apsna building, the first from the checkpoint: the beach is 1 minute from the buildings, in 15-20 minutes you can walk through the pine grove towards the wild beach, on the other side of the bay.
Close to the exit to the city, shops, the patriarchal temple of the X century, which hosts organ concerts.
A certain closeness of the resort, there are no cars, an abundance of discos, you can safely walk along the sea in the evening.
There are many benches on the promenade, you can always find a place to sit and relax.
Shade from the pines, even in the heat it is comfortable to walk from the beach to the building.
Soviet mosaics, monuments, drinking fountains, toilets along the beach line
Category 1 room, renovated, everything is modern, clean, the mattresses are comfortable, and the linen is white. Cleaning every day, linen change twice in 12 days.
Breakfasts and lunches are edible, all regular tourists talk about the absence of poisoning. Thank God we are also without rotovirus. They drank local mineral water instead of water.
Minuses:
Typical for the whole of Abkhazia is the "fatigue" of former Soviet resorts, there are abandoned (summer disco and swimming pool)
The tiles on the paths are probably from the base of the resort, uneven, the edges stick out, you need to look carefully at your feet.
There are sun beds, but it's not realistic to find them during the day, everything is covered in towels and stones.
There are no lifeguards, not one on the entire length of the beach. There is such an "Abkhazian" indifference, the needles have been lying since last winter, campers burn bonfires in the evenings from branches nailed by the surf.
The pier from which they dive is rusty, the pillars have already cracked somewhere. No one thinks about safety, the stairs on the pier are broken, children and adults are climbing over its debris or on wheels.
In 12 days, electricity was turned off 2 times, water 4 times (the buildings are 14 storeys high), I advise you to ask for a lower room, the elevators work intermittently.
They stopped going to dinners, it was too simple, monotonous, there was clearly not enough meat for men.
In general, we liked Pitsunda very much, we knew where we were going, so we didn't notice any minor flaws. The color of the sea, transparency, sun, palm trees, pines, dolphins!

In September 2024, they lived in the Amzar building. No repairs whatsoever. They're cleaning up. On the 7th floor . hot water and cold water are fine. The food leaves much to be desired. We went to cafes. Nature, air and sea are just great. The music at the disco is definitely a minus, of course, if you don't drink. The locals are different, both good and not so good. We could have been more polite. Those who are not ready to see the last century will not be used to it. 😁😁😁. Let's go again.

I had a rest in September 2024. The Amr building. Of all the rest, I liked the sea and nature! Everything else is terrible, starting with the check-in. No one listens to our wishes, they put us where they see fit, and in general, they behave as if we had not come to them and paid, but they. But compared to nutrition, these are still "flowers". I've never seen such a dump before. There is nothing at all possible except chopped fresh vegetables. It's the same thing every day. The disgusting meatballs were mixed with yesterday's ones and reheated in the oven. A lot can be described!!! My advice is not to spoil your long-awaited vacation. Choose other places!

Amzara Boarding House
To say that this is darkness is to say nothing. I was ready for the bad rooms, the average meal in the dining room. But I did not expect that I would still be rude. The transfer is terrible, after the flight I had to wait for the driver to rest for an hour and we would go. Deep into the night for a second! Shouldn't your guest rest?
The maid in the hotel on the third floor is a separate surprise. She told me that I often go back and forth and that I am 'so rich' to live in another boarding house. And I just asked if she vacuums or sweeps.
In fact, there is no cleaning, as there was before, so it remained after. Water is pouring out of the shower from all the cracks.
Guys, stay in Sochi. You are not welcome in Abkhazia. They are not even ready to make minimal repairs and cleanliness. They immediately show their dislike for the guests.

- in 2007, on September 1, I arrived at the defense industry complex Pitsunda. Only 1 building of the Bzyb was working. There were maybe 10 people in total, no one on the beach. The nature is fantastic. There was a pretty girl with freckles in the registration building, she helped touchingly with everything.
The room was given 10 fl cheap and cool. The sea is visible far away. The neighbor is a local policeman, he told me a lot of interesting things.

Beds with good mattresses, the linen is clean, the curtains are black out, which is very valuable where there is a lot of sun, there are enough sockets, the Internet is good and they also promise to finish off the beach. A table, a wardrobe, chairs, it is very important, the air conditioner works, in such a climate it is simply a necessity. Yes, without pathos, so we're not going to sit in the rooms. The bathroom is also ordinary, water with good pressure, hot and cold. The buildings themselves are located so that three of the four sides overlook the sea, the beauty is simply extraordinary, dolphins come every morning. There are sun beds, canopies, too, plus pine trees grow along the shore, we have always been in them, a lot of cafes, a water park. We choose this place for ourselves.

We lived there for two weeks in September in single rooms in the Amzar building.The rooms are not renovated, the cleanliness of the room is three.The bathroom was not cleaned upon arrival.Meals were included in the price.In the dining room, the choice is not big every day, it is quite monotonous.But you won't starve to death.There are big problems with meat dishes (But everything that was given was fresh and made from natural products.I have never eaten such delicious cottage cheese anywhere.It will be difficult for a man to survive on such food(.

In general, I liked the rest. We lived in the Lighthouse building, on the 7th floor. Before the trip, we read reviews about mosquitoes and dogs. We took a fumigator with us, but it was not useful. But there really were dogs. But they didn't bother us personally. We came and quietly lay down in the shade under your sunbed (photo attached) :)) If you don't like them, you can drive them away. The lighthouse is the last building. When buying vouchers, we did not think about the fact that there are rooms with and without renovation. As a result, we bought a ticket to a room of the 2nd category (without renovation) with a balcony. Everything is fine, BUT: there is no shower curtain in the bathroom, water is constantly gurgling in the toilet (whatever you do), there is a multipath crack in the sink (apparently someone dropped something), there are ropes on the balcony, but there are no clothespins and there is also no wash basin. But there is a fashionable TV with a set-top box in the room, you can insert your flash drive. There were very few people in the first couple of days (photo of a deserted beach at 3 p.m.). But then there were several races. There were many children's dance groups. And no matter how the teachers looked after them, there were a lot of children, but few supervising adults :(( The waves brought small pieces of wood and in the evenings on the beach people lit small bonfires - romance :)) For 10 days of rest, 1 time saw workers in a car collecting branches and garbage on the beach. The trash cans on the beach were cleaned several times a day. The food in the dining room was quite edible, without frills. If you buy a tour at the hotel, they give you a dry ration. The dry ration, however, is funny: cucumber, small juice, 0.5 water, melted cheese and straws (like crackers). The lights were turned off several times throughout the defense industry (for 30-40 minutes). But there was water. No one got stuck in the elevator. There are sun beds on the beach (free for hotel guests), but there are somehow few of them. If you want to get it, then you have to go before 8 a.m. There are several cafes near the hotel.

We rested for the fifth time already, this time in the Golden Fleece building. Before that, I had to live in "Amzar", "Amr", "Colchis". For us, the attitude of the staff of the Golden Fleece corps was a revelation, so friendly everyone showed themselves from the moment of check-in to check-out. And when my husband caught rotavirus, they organized a trip to ivs, hot tea in the room, and some kind of diet food was passed in the dining room. We will come here whenever possible. Unfortunately, the problem of sun beds remains acute - they are mined by self-capture, and most of them are captured by vacationers from the private sector, no issuance is made on guest cards, sun beds are not collected overnight. This is the unwillingness of the hotel management to put things in order: you can check cards or give your guests bracelets. The broken beds were replaced with new ones this year, but this did not solve the problem.

The first time was in September 2022 - these 5 days seemed like paradise, we decided to repeat it. This year we are here from August 9th to 24th. Apparently, the institution does not cope with the tasks of the service during the season. First of all, about the room - we settled first in a room with two beds, although my husband and I asked for one double bed. There were no ropes on the balcony at all, there was a broken table on which it was scary to put something. The next day, at our request, we were relocated, the administrator at the reception in the building (Colchis) suffered with indignation and creaking - "well, you don't like this one, we don't have underwear!".
And in general, I will add that the staff is so exhausted, so exhausted, almost unfriendly, tired, that I got the impression that I brought 93 thousand earnings to this country, and a huge pile of problems for them all. In the new room, there was almost no light in the bathroom - the switch was off, the first three nights it stank unrealistically of sewage in the room, even through the closed door to the bathroom, it was impossible to sleep. For 11 days, neither towels nor linen were changed, the floor was washed once, but the garbage was taken out daily. Moreover, the maid goes to pick up the garbage at lunch. Just at the time when you want to relax in the wild heat, to sleep. She woke us up every time - it was very annoying. The WiFi was unstable, the laptop barely worked, and not all functions were available even in the phone. The dining room - in short, we have normal food, almost PP, we have never been hungry. There are beach chairs, yes. But to get them, you either have to join a mafia clan and inherit them, or steal them. There are few of them, they are busy with things around the clock - towels, rugs. On the eighth day, my husband and I were lucky-we saw two vacant ones, took up our things. The sunbeds stood safely for two nights, after the third, a towel was stolen from me. It upset me. The next night I put the tunic down, in the morning the tunic lay on the ground, carefully pressed by stones, and the sunbed disappeared. Umbrellas are generally unavailable, there is an eternal crowd of people, and not all buildings have them. From the cleaning of the territory, I saw only a cyclist collecting garbage from garbage cans on the embankment. But I saw a lot of vacationers throwing bottles, napkins and, sorry, packing pads - I'm ashamed of them. In the evening we decided to sit on the shore - mosquitoes ate all our legs, and ate unnoticed, and in the morning all our legs were speckled and itched unrealistically. For the first six days of our stay, something was turned off - the light in the morning for 2-3 hours, and the water a couple of times for 6 hours. Without water, of course, it is very difficult, especially in the wild heat. By the way, we also bought drinking water, this should be added to the cost of living. I really love the Pitsunda sea, but I will not live in this resort anymore.

The hotel was built in Soviet times. Repairs have probably never been made.
The wallpaper was glued in the rooms and that's it. The furniture is old. There is no hood in the toilet, besides, the ceiling is leaking right on your head. The towel was given a small one, they asked to be given a large one as well. An iron and a kettle do not need to walk on every floor with boiling water. Of the advantages, a gorgeous view from the window and new elevators. The administration's request is not to worry and restore the resort, because the price is normal and the service is disgusting.

The sea is warm, there are few people closer to the Lighthouse, it is quiet enough, the Abkhazian courtyard at the lighthouse is of entertainment, restaurants are expensive, food in the canteens is so-so but you can live, the rooms are old, hot and cold water, the territory is patrolled by policemen, shops are only outside the territory, entrance is back on the guest's card. There are dogs and a horse on the premises. There is a small market in the center. Always take earplugs with you. In the dining room, the pandemonium is like a hungry edge, after 40 minutes the tables are cleared. I took excursions in the canteen, at least they give me rations.

We were in it with our family, rented two rooms with room amenities. YES YES YES!!!!! As it may seem strange, this Boarding House has rooms without in-room amenities. For people with little financial income or just Pensioners.If you leave behind the fence of this institution the "PATHOS" you brought with you, taking off the "Crowns", and just enjoy ABKHAZIA.
The first sensations kill when you go into the Room, you crawl to the USSR for a year so 85-90 repairs were a long time ago, but to pay tribute is clean. But furniture is not the most important thing, why did we go??? There is a good quality orthopedic mattress on the bed, it is pleasant to sleep. There is air conditioning in every room.
The dining room is a buffet, everyone finds what they like, do not expect abundance.

A wonderful corner, beautiful nature, and the boarding house is so-so, the location attracts, but everything good is spoiled by terrible food. In large canteens, although the breakfasts are more or less normal, but in the one between Colchis and Rune it is impossible to eat, tasteless and unsanitary! Well, the stench from the sewage system in the rooms is also an unpleasant phenomenon, after the renovation, it seems to stink even more. Although it was cheap before the repair, it was possible to be patient, and after the repair the prices doubled, but the service did not change. But there are many luxury hotels where you can live for the same money, or even cheaper. I don't go to the boarding house anymore.

Buffet, the buildings are old (in need of repair), you can rent a bike, you need a pass to the territory or pay 100 rubles, there are also cafes on the territory. This time I was very dissatisfied with the "service" in this boarding house. The rest began with 2 moves from room to room. On the first night, they were accommodated in a room without amenities in the Lighthouse (the building is like this). To make it clear: there were no doors to the amenities on the floor, everything was broken inside the bathroom, glass on the floor, one functioning toilet without a lid. Is it really impossible to put this area in order? On the second day, they promised to put me in room 706 of the Colchis building. When I came to check in, it turned out that this room was occupied (why the Abkhazians deceived me is not clear). And only the next day they gave me the number they promised. According to the diet, we can say that apart from fried chicken, porridge, cottage cheese and sour cream, there was nothing edible in the dining room. It's the same thing every day. Moreover, the second courses are chronically cold. There is no declared buffet. And finally, this time's stay (from September 26 to October 3) was overshadowed by deception and threats from the tour agent, whose name is Astaida, tel. +7-940-994-07-45, works in the second dining room of the boarding house. I bought an excursion from her "Tkuarchal", with a departure date of 09/29/2021, worth 3,000 rubles. They were going to show us 6 seats for this price.
In fact, we visited 5 places, we were not taken to the Temple and we did not visit there.
I turned to Astaida to get the money back for the service not rendered, in the amount of 500 rubles. (3000 for 6 objects, one accounts for 500 rubles.).
In response, I heard a rude refusal, rudeness and a threat (that they would deal with me). An employee of the tour desk began to feed me "breakfast": I need to find out, come in after lunch, dinner, and in general, it will take several days until Monday. To which I told her that I was leaving on Sunday night and would not be able to wait until Monday. Although the question is not worth a damn and there is nothing to find out. We were not taken to one of the facilities. This is a fact.
After that, the employee called the chief driver officer. This leader of the drivers did not find anything better to say than to threaten me again (you will not leave Abkhazia at all). At the same time, he also refused to return the money.
This is already some kind of sightseeing gang that brazenly threatens vacationers. And where is the Abkhazian hospitality here?? I filed a complaint through the boarding house's website. I received an unsubscribe. In general, I will not go to this boarding house anymore. And I don't advise anyone. Pitsunda is a wonderful place. We rested from June 1 to June 14, 2021. the first week let us down a little, but the rest of the time we rested.The food is delicious, there is a lot, there is a choice of food.The room is excellent and renovated.Maybe it wasn't like that before, but we just drove and we're thrilled.They gave it away in Ambergris-just super!!!

As already mentioned here, one star is for the sea, the second is for nature, the third is in advance.
The rest is not cheap. Food prices are like in Moscow and that's okay. The cypress alley is built up with only pebbles, so you can't make out the smell of cypress through the smoke.
There is no public transport, there is no other way to say it: no timetable, no stops, everything is according to the concepts, as agreed, so let's go. On the same minibus, the price from Pitsunda to Gagra is 150 for someone, 100 for someone, and 50 for someone.
In stores, mostly only marketable goods and not all of them.

I put one star on both nature and the second just for such a natural phenomenon as the sea. Which the Abkhazians simply did not deserve. We rested in the military industrial complex Pitsunda building Bzyr, from 24-28,07 we were just shocked, the room, although renovated, is already battered, the shower is terrible, you just can't wash, the linen is clean, but the rooms are not cleaned, at least not once in 5 days! The beach is also terribly dirty, the garbage from the sea was filled with trees, the trees fell right through, then they came and began to saw and clean something. There is garbage on the beach. One smart businessman walks in the morning, like he books sunbeds for money, it would be better to collect garbage, lazy people who need to look for, everything would just count the money! Nutrition..... I think it's hard to call it food. It's just disgusting!!!! Soups are water with water, potatoes and sausage float, porridge is all on the water, everything is tasteless, dear people will not believe it, just disgusting, there has never been any meat in 5 days, from the word at all! Dolphinarium.... The price is 700 rubles, the duration is 35 minutes and only two dolphins.....There's nothing to see. They only collect revenue to the maximum. The whole area is devastated. They don't want to do anything, they're waiting for Russia to come and restore everything. I was taking the transfer, the driver said Russia feeds us. We lived in the building of Colchis, in 14 days the room was "washed" 5 times, i.e. we spent a dirty rag from the balcony to the door, the toilet 2 times. Toilet room : walls, shower curtain are covered with fungus. Water was constantly accumulating in the corner, no one washed the sink and toilet, they bought toilet paper themselves. They took a suite, the place is terrible, there is some blood on the wallpaper in the rooms, the floors are dirty, they are cleaned very rarely, there is solid garbage and leftovers under the bed, the cleaners are rude and refuse to provide services, they gave dirty bed linen and stained towels. We arrived in a group of 11 people, settled in 2 rooms.... Initially, one card was issued for 2 rooms on different floors. There are 6 people in the room, where there are 2 sofas, and 2 armchairs, but.... All 2 chairs are broken, you're lying on some holes. The food is terrible, I personally went once, then the dining room just discouraged me from visiting it. The administrator avoids us, does not want to talk to us about the mess. During the day, you just leave this horror: take a walk, get some fresh air, go swimming, buy a NORMAL meal. I just don't want to come back in the evening. On the day of check-in, they closed their eyes to the fact that it was dirty, okay, but when they began to lay out sofas in the evening, they couldn't stand it and went to complain. We stood for 30 minutes trying to solve the problem, to which we were told no... It's just not possible to convey all the dissatisfaction of the room. Very upset...

I lived in the Golden Fleece building, the view of the sea, the beauty of nature too. The room is clean and does not "SMELL". everything after the USSR. Cockroaches are running around, the stench is all over the sewer building! MOSQUITOES began to appear that never existed, and it's worth thinking about the environment! The dining room is a hotel problem for the first soup or borscht in which if potatoes float, then you are lucky, the broth is cooked on MAGI. For the second, buckwheat, rice, there are no spices and various porridges. All dishes are PLASTIC! I only ate chicken from meat. And somehow she reminded me of the dining room where I served. For this, 60,000 rubles were given back in February in 9 days.

The rooms are austere, the furniture, although updated, is already pretty worn, skewed and fastened. Mattresses of the "orthopedic type" are sagged. White linen and towels are changed once a week! Bedspreads do not wash at all, they look like a floor cloth! Bathroom. Phew. There's something strange about the sewer junction. Some pipes with a lid sticking out of the water. If the water evaporates, you need a gas mask to go to the toilet. Cleaning. Replacing the trash bag and sweeping the trash with a broom under the bed. The dust on the furniture is "age-old". Food. This is generally a separate topic. Two years ago, the food was poor. This year I can't bring myself to call "it" food! It's called SLOP. The chef needs to be changed urgently! Or steal less food... The most interesting thing is that the staff of the boarding house sees all this, hears criticism every day, BUT does not react in any way! And why? The nature is simply heavenly, the sea is fabulous, and so tourists will come... We won't come! Our family definitely does not set foot in this boarding house anymore . I saw that private hotels are being built nearby, so we'll go there))))
