My wife and I stayed here overnight during the trip.Good location near the waterfront. There is a parking lot.Excellent rooms with all amenities.Friendly staff.Breakfast is included in the room rate. The menu is varied. We liked everything very much.
There is no spa here, the crazy price for a room in a Hostel-quality hotel.
Breakfast is zero, and it's better in hostels.
If you want to throw money away, stay at this hotel
I was here in November 2018. The hotel consists of two buildings. An old building on the shore of Lake. Saimaa and a concrete box across the street 200 m from the old building. We lived in a "new" building. We chose it for two reasons: it has a small swimming pool and sauna, as well as breakfast only in this building. The room was chosen to be spacious. We are happy with the accommodation.
The room is very cozy,,there is a sofa, a round coffee table ,,,the view from the window of our room was to the Parking lot ,the only minus ,,the breakfasts are good ,,the attitude of the administrators is excellent ,,,everyone is very friendly ,,settled immediately upon arrival ,,at 12-30 ,,,near the lake a small park ,,wonderful rest ...thank you!!

Lappeenranta Spa Hotel is conveniently located right on the shores of Lake Saimaa in the city center and has a good rating of 8.5.
The hotel consists of two buildings. The first one is called "old", located on the very shore of the lake, the second building is across the street. The restaurant and SPA complex are located in the new building.
The room is small, but very cozy, pleased with the presence of a small sofa. The beds are single, the mattresses are comfortable, the pillows are a little too small. In the room there is a mini-refrigerator (aka a mini-bar with a full range), a TV (no Russian channels!), a hairdryer, a kettle,
The SPA complex is very small. It is located on the ground floor next to the reception desk. There are two swimming pools, two Jacuzzis, three hydromassage baths, two steam rooms, a Turkish hammam (shared for men and women) and a sauna in the shower.
Breakfast is quite modest, the choice of dishes is small: porridge, two types of yogurt, muesli, boiled eggs, meatballs, bacon, cheese, sausage, herring, vegetables, fruits, pastries. I was surprised that there was no omelet, but I was pleased with the presence of camembert.
I definitely recommend this hotel!
Excellent location: on the shore of the lake and opposite the fortress. Everything is close. The staff is polite and always ready to help. There are Russian speakers. We'll come again!
A good hotel for a stay of 2-3 days, a delicious breakfast, and the presence of a swimming pool and sauna is also pleasing. We lived in the building where breakfast was held and the spa complex was located. When booking, keep in mind that there is also another building, which is located across the street. Choose an option that is convenient for you
A very pleasant and cozy hotel consisting of 2 buildings. The windows of the second building overlook the lake. The first one has a SPA area and a gym. Delicious breakfast, a little monotonous. For a couple of nights, excellent value for money.
Cozy rooms. A good breakfast. The view from the window is simply mesmerizing. I want to come back in the summer. The hotel is located on the shore of the lake. There is a place to walk. You can rent a bike. There is also something to do at the SPA. I recommend.
A cold, cramped, dark room for 125 euros. Like in Paris, in the Montmartre area. There is a SPA, but the locker room is across the street. Literally. Without warning, they were placed in the wrong building where the SPA is. The SPA itself is open until 21:00. If you like to take a walk after the SPA, you will like it. The staff does not speak Russian. Everything else is ok. No. The beds are unnecessarily narrow and soft. Now everything else is OK.
Everything is perfectly comfortable, but for cleaning it is considered to throw out the garbage and make the bed. The floors are not clean, they poisoned my dad, now he's in the hospital.
