Terrible Experience at Lastiver Resort – False Promises & Poor Service
We booked the most expensive room at Lastiver Resort, expecting a premium experience, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Our room featured an outdoor jacuzzi, which was one of the main reasons we chose it, but upon arrival, we found that it was leaking and wouldn’t fill up properly. We paid $250 for this room, and yet we couldn’t even use one of its key features.
When we reported the issue, they sent someone to fix it, claiming it was resolved. After a long day of outdoor activities, we returned to the room hoping to finally relax in the jacuzzi—only to find out that the problem still wasn’t fixed. We had to call again, and once more, they sent someone who assured us it would be working within an hour. An hour later, the issue was resolved, but by then, there was no more hot water! At this point, we were exhausted and had no choice but to sleep without enjoying the jacuzzi.
The next morning, the manager contacted us, appearing friendly and apologetic. She offered a free extra day as compensation, which we declined since we couldn’t stay longer at the time. Instead, she gave us a personal number, assuring us that whenever we wanted to return, we could call that number to book. She specifically promised that we would receive one free night and, after that, a special discount for future stays. This seemed like a reasonable solution, and we left believing we would enjoy a proper experience in the future.
Here’s where the real scam began. Months later, when we finally decided to claim the promised stay, we called the number the manager gave us multiple times over two months—no response. We even contacted the resort directly, asking them to have the manager call us back. They said they would, but of course, we never received a response. After weeks of trying, we asked an employee if the manager was still working there, and they confirmed she was. That’s when we realized we had been completely ignored and misled.
This resort is a complete scam when it comes to customer service. They make false promises to cover up their mistakes and then disappear when it’s time to fulfill them. It’s frustrating because the location is 3 hours away, so we couldn’t just show up to confront them in person.
If you’re thinking of booking Lastiver Resort, think twice. If anything goes wrong, don’t expect real compensation—just empty words. For the price they charge, this level of service is unacceptable. There are plenty of other resorts where you’ll actually get what you pay for. Avoid this place!

One of the best hotels in Armenia!)
Very cozy and family breakfasts!)
A warm pool, Jacuzzi, and in general the entire spa area.
The location and this place freezes!

The only two disadvantages are :
Noise insulation
and others do not congratulate in any way, they do not even bring a couple of fruits. Therefore, I give 4 stars that there is still something to work on!))

There are no disadvantages, everything is great. The rooms are clean and nice. Good and delicious food, the restaurant is great, everything is there. The food is delicious. Outdoor pool and beautiful view, sauna, Russian sauna and most importantly clean and cozy. I advise everyone from the bottom of my heart. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A wonderful place! We are coming for the second time. The rooms are clean and cozy. Friendly staff. Great pool, delicious food, cook fast. The prices are normal. The only thing I didn't like was that people who don't live there come into the pool! Men come in for a clean beer at the bar. Tourists come in to take pictures. It really gets in the way when you're lying quietly sunbathing - and then a crowd of people start posing behind your back. I want to get up and leave(((

I've been there more than once, and hopefully not for the last time. Cozy rooms (we stayed in different ones). The Jacuzzi on the balcony is cool, but in cool weather the water cools down instantly. The outdoor pool is just a mega-success! Delicious food, the silence of a mountain gorge - you instantly recover from the hustle and bustle of the city!

This is an incredibly beautiful and atmospheric place. Gorgeous views, a swimming pool, a hammam, a Jacuzzi ... a bathtub on the balcony - you are either speechless with delight, or on the contrary you want to scream.
The dinner was great.
The breakfast is varied. There was even red caviar.
Everyone is very friendly.

You can rest for a day or two. Ideal for holidays with children (pool availability) and/or family celebrations (good restaurant). Walk around the village or 4 km uphill in Eyll Exstrim Park. The most beautiful views of the mountains, the river runs below, in the morning with a cup of coffee you can listen to the sound of the river and birds.Reviews about the beautiful view are not exaggerated.
The room is very nice, there is a huge bed, there is a sofa and a table, you can also have a quiet dinner in the room.
There is everything you need from disposable shampoos and gels to a mini kit with cotton swabs and a nail file. The room has a panoramic window, beautiful view in the morning.
There is a restaurant, a good selection of dishes and delicious wine. Good breakfasts.
Special thanks to the staff for the birthday greetings, it was very pleasant.
An outdoor swimming pool, baths, hammam and Jacuzzi are another feature of the hotel.
Of course, I would like to have more territory to walk near the hotel, but this is just a wish, not critical.
A wonderful and positive girl at the reception, unfortunately, I did not remember the name, but I thank her very much for the congratulations and the invitation to the holiday.

A beautiful place, of course, but the beauty is only in nature, there is no service.
1) swimming pools-there are no key lockers for storing your personal belongings;
2) There is no safe in the rooms;
3) the room keys are malfunctioning, beeping for 2 minutes all the time with each door opening, which is very annoying;
4) we read about the variety of breakfasts-I don't know where people saw this variety, the same thing for three days;
5) the verandas, where the cafe is completely, are not cleaned from the floor at all, these white sofas have never been wiped in the course, it is impossible to sit on them, they are all terribly dirty;
6) there is a playground, but also the trampoline is already all ruined with holes, the house is covered in dust / dirt;
7) we ordered kebab and shish kebab at dinner on the first day of our stay, we have never seen such horror in our lives, even in some of the cheapest kebab shops in Moscow you will not see this, the pieces are small, the shish kebab is all dry, asking the waiter what is it? You're trampling on your name, he said, well, the pig was just a little one🤣🤣🤣 Have you even heard that somewhere? 🤣
8) Armenian folk clothes Taraz, which are given for free, there is no choice, there is nothing for the youngest, all the clothes are smelly and in terrible condition;
9) the minibar is paid, this is normal, but at least you look at the expiration date, the chocolates are already exactly 100 years old, I did not notice how the child took and opened the bounty, it was clear that this bounty was not in the refrigerator 100 times, melted and then put in the refrigerator again, all in terrible condition, thrown out In the trash;
10) waiters-2 adult waiters worked even more or less normally, all the rest are youngsters, there is no knowledge of foreign languages, and the knowledge to serve too. They work slowly, you repeat your order 100 times and wait for three hours, but they do not forget to bring 10% tips with each order, tips like in the best restaurants.
11) the sun beds by the pool are also terribly dirty, they do not wipe them at all;
12) Room cleaning is excellent. Smart guys, they ask all the time what is needed, is everything okay;
13) check in-at 14:00, as everywhere else. it so happened that our flight to Armenia was at night and, accordingly, we arrived at the hotel at 10:00 in the morning, asked that we try to give a room a little earlier, since a small child who needs to be bathed and fed, of course, was not given and did not even try very hard. The room was provided at exactly 13:59!
The result is that one day in this place will go, but no more. Boring, dirty, tasteless, beautiful nature-something that did not depend on the hotel.

Just a fabulous place! Fantastic nature. Time feels very different. Friendly locals, attentive staff. The comfort is at the highest level. You can write about the bed separately!!! We rested as if on a cloud. The breakfast was very varied. A must-visit.

We stopped by for 5 days.
Pros: magnificent mountain views, a panoramic pool, an authentic village with wildlife nearby, an ancient church on the slope, delicious food - meat is most likely from neighboring villages.
Cons: In the restaurant, cats and flies are interfering, with which they do nothing; The waiters work poorly - they do not clean the tables after the visitors, they disappear somewhere, they had to look for; they do not clean the room themselves, they had to ask; there is no Internet (but the local mobile catches well); the bathhouse is a health-threatening shower, the oven is located inside the steam room, because of this, oxygen is drawn directly from the steam room. At the same time, there is no ventilation (there is a vent. holes, but there is insulation inside them), there is practically no oxygen in the room.
You pay money only for the view, and the opportunity to spend time away from civilization. Get some fresh mountain air, look at village life. There is no need to wait for any service and amenities.

The hotel has a magnificent view of the gorge, is located on the edge of a cliff, the view from both the room and the pool is simply breathtaking.
There are questions about maintaining cleanliness, especially bathroom and shower, faucets require thorough cleaning from plaque, but these remarks are one of the few. Otherwise, the hotel is wonderful due to its unique location and mountain views.

The trick of this place is water pleasures and views. A warm pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi, a bathtub for two on the balcony overlooking the magnificent gorge. In the evening, dinner at tables with a fire in the center on the street. Everything for a sincere, beautiful rest. On the lower platform of the restaurant, you can light a large fire in a cauldron-bowl. The kitchen is a separate praise. Everything is very tasty. The staff is friendly, polite. The rooms are comfortable, beautiful, clean. We have been there several times and have always been satisfied. Great place.

The restaurant ordered food, everything was delicious, good service, but they forgot to bring the whole order, they did not bring the quail. The only thing I didn't like was the feeling that Armenians don't have rules of etiquette,I didn't really understand until late at night above us or in the neighboring rooms, children were running around,and there was a feeling that furniture was constantly being moved, and it also continued early in the morning, and I also didn't like that the water drain was coming out of the room straight from the pipe according to the regulations, it is very noisy, you can hear how loudly the water drains into the street from the room. Hot water is also constantly turned off, they drained it for a long time in the morning, they thought it would heat up, but figs there, it flowed cold all the time. A pleasant hotel with a magnificent view. On the days of our arrival, there were problems with the pool and in this case it is not very clear what to do in the hotel. We need to get out into the outside world :) upstairs, 10 minutes by car there is an extreme park with horses, ziplines, a small rope town - ideal for families with children. From there, you can also arrange a hiking trip to the caves at the foot of the mountain. Pleasant physical activity. It is not difficult in dry weather, but it is better to have specialized shoes - in places there are treacherous wet stones.

We decided to visit here on the recommendation, I must say right away that good rooms with mountain views must be booked in advance.
The price includes a decent breakfast, access to the gym and an outdoor pool with mountain views, it's just amazing!
There are small nuances, for example, our room was on the second floor and the staircase was quite "cool", with a small child it was a little scary to go down and up every time, but it's good that everything is fine!
I was also surprised by such proximity to the private sector from old houses almost windows to windows and the smells of cows and so on could be heard very well, but I would consider it an entourage, but of course for an amateur)
In general, we are satisfied with the rest, we left positive impressions and most likely we will come again!
