Nice hotel in the city center, close to many cafes and shops. The metro is within walking distance (300 meters). The staff works without comments, has its own large Parking lot (there are charging stations for electric cars). The breakfast is decent, delicious (buffet), only coffee for an additional fee, instant for free. There is an Indian restaurant on site. A good swimming pool is located in a closed area, towels are provided without extra charge.there are boards, sun beds, and a bar.Generally good, but already tired, you can update
One of the advantages is the convenient location: near the square and the museum of Amir Timur. Nearby, at the Uzbekistan Hotel, there is a bus stop with a sightseeing tour of Tashkent. The price is 200,000 soums. They drive for 2 hours to all the main attractions. The breakfasts are standard. Minus: it was cold in the room.
Of the advantages of breakfast !.every day is a variety.the restaurant is clean.the location is great.everything a tourist needs is not far away.well, if something is further away, then the metro is nearby) the staff is polite, always smiling, welcoming)The rooms are clean.we had a standard on the 6th floor.everything seems to be fine, BUT!!!if you are asthmatic or allergic, then I strongly ADVISE you NOT to go to this hotel!!!firstly, all the laundry is washed and rinsed in a very thermonuclear rinse aid!!!we stopped by at night, I thought I would suffocate, I had to take pills and use an inhaler.they took off the pillowcase and covered the pillow with a towel (for some reason, their towels do not smell like air conditioning..)the window was opened as far as possible....if you waited until the morning to ask for other underwear...BUT I warn you that there is always this terrible smell...They're probably spitting something else in the hallways..in short, the horror.Don't you understand that there are asthmatics????why pour so much conditioner into your underwear
We chose the Grand Plaza Hotel for its location in the center of Tashkent, the metro is within walking distance, near a large selection of restaurants, cafes, bars for any budget. The hotel itself offers a luxurious breakfast, a beautiful large swimming pool. The staff is very attentive to the guests, any request is resolved in a short time. The room rate is acceptable for us. We definitely recommend it!
The hotel is almost in the center of Tashkent, with a chic design, renovation, and scope...It was 10 years ago. Now, in general, it's not bad, but repairs in the rooms and in places of common stay are already asking for.
We stayed at this hotel in September for four nights.
Of the advantages:
-location in the center, walking distance to the metro, many cafes and restaurants nearby;
-good breakfast in the morning-buffet, there is a choice and there are always few people, attentive and friendly staff of the restaurant;
-the presence of a relatively large pool with good depth, although a little neglected (including showers) and not always opening at 8.00 in the morning, but you can swim for fun.Narada is never there.
On this, perhaps, I did not see any more advantages.
Of the minuses:
-the floor and the room are neglected, in need of repair, the cleaning is not of high quality, there are a limited number of sockets, there are no bedside tables at all, the plumbing is old in the bathroom, the taps open with effort and also close, the shower sprayer is inconvenient, can not be removed;
- it is impossible to watch TV because of the constant unstable reception of channels, more or less only the first Russian channel showed;
- the refrigerator was leaking;
-the carpet in the corridor is old, also requires cleaning;
-when we checked in again after the night arrival from Urgench, there was no one at the reception, we had to wait for 5...7 minutes, after re-contacting the guard, the administrator appeared with an unfriendly face;
In general, I do not recommend it for a long time, it will go for one night.
It is not clear why it is positioned as a 4-star, maximum 2 stars.
We stayed at the hotel in January 2023. Convenient location relative to the city center, there are many cafes nearby where you can eat, the hotel itself has a restaurant. The hotel itself is very large, there are shops in the building, including souvenirs. The staff is very helpful and attentive. It was cold weather, the staff warmed up the room for us with air conditioning. All cosmetics are available. Bathrobes and disposable slippers are available. We left early in the morning, lunch boxes were prepared for us by the time it was convenient for us, they even offered to set the table in the restaurant, they offered to wake us up. I liked the food, it was very tasty at the highest level. The hotel and rooms are neat and clean, but it is clear that the hotel is tired and old. In general, I recommend a decent stay for accommodation.
From the "plaza" only the name, and if in detail:
- Old furniture, the window did not close in two rooms, had to be changed. There were no bathrobes and bags in the trash. The right elevator got stuck a couple of times. You will be charged extra at breakfast.the amount for coffee, it turns out, the buffet can be like that.
+ Clean linen, cleaning, location.
The hotel is beautiful, the service is fast and clear. The linen is clean. The bed is comfortable. That's where the advantages end.
There is mold in the shower, it is unpleasant to wash. The hangers in the closet are dirty. The furniture is shabby. The trash cans are broken, the floor lamp does not work. There are no shelves for clothes in the closet - not one, just hangers. All this could be attributed to the local flavor, if not for the breakfasts that are included in the room rate. They're terrible. It's the worst I've ever seen. Margarine is used instead of butter, everything is tasteless and looks stale. Take care of your stomach, do not pay for breakfast at this hotel. There is a lovely restaurant with good cuisine across the street.
Everything seems to be fine) but gods!! Why tuck the blanket on the bed like that!?! I've never seen anything like it) Every evening, the child and I had to physically pull him out from under the mattress!))
Positive:
Very good location in the heart of the city. 400 m from Amir Temur square. A good (though not cheap) Assorti restaurant in the hotel building. There are several decent restaurants right across the street. The rooms themselves are clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and courteous. There is a swimming pool (open-air, open only in the warmer months).
Minuses:
I stayed in a standard room on the sixth floor. There is no sound insulation in the rooms. You can hear the street through the closed window, and the neighbors through the walls, and everything that happens in the hallway through the door.
I stopped by in November. The room was frankly cold, despite the unscrewed thermostat. The only thing that saved me was the constantly turned on air conditioner, working for heating. It was still cold in the bathroom. In general, the renovation in the rooms is already tired and requires updating.
The location is great, in the city center, next to Amir Teymur Square. I didn't really like the breakfast food in the hotel restaurant. There is no boiled coffee, but the staff is nimble and the service is good. The rooms are already in need of repair. The pool is closed at the end of April at a temperature of + 35 and there are not even sun loungers to sunbathe. The service is weak.
A very run-down old hotel. The only advantage is an acceptable location in the city center.
If you want to have 4 stars, I think you can safely give 1 or 2.
Dirty carpet everywhere - both in the room and in the corridors. Neither the fitness center, nor the sauna, nor the pool worked. No one said anything at the time of booking, during check-in and in the room.
Moreover, there was no hot water for 2 days.
Breakfast included in the room rate is for 3 points.
If there is an opportunity not to stop here - do not stop!!!
Good luck in finding a better service
A normal hotel with normal prices. But it is already old and requires cosmetic repairs, especially in the rooms. In general, everything is clean, cleaned regularly. One of the disadvantages is the terribly conditioned bed linen.
I really liked the hotel. It's very beautiful inside, although it's probably an old building. Clean, cozy, comfortable. Good curtains, completely block the light, ventilation works fine, comfortable in both heat and cold. The breakfasts are very good, there are a lot of cafes for all tastes nearby. The staff is attentive and helpful. Currency exchange machine at the entrance to the hotel.
The breakfasts are so-so, the pool did not work, although it was promised, the room is dirty.
I would put 1, but the staff is polite. Well, the paid Indian restaurant is good, although I have not met any bad restaurants in Tashkent
The name is five times better than the hotel itself. The rooms are smoky. The buffet is meager and not tasty. You can't watch TV in the room, as the Internet does not pull, the programs hang.
At the same time, it's clean, the linen is clean.
I really liked the hotel. The service is at a high level. Very good quality breakfasts. He lived for about a week. There are many cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. I recommend.
There is almost never parking around, although there are a lot of cars parked nearby all the time. By this I mean that you will not arrive there by car. The staff is mainly a regional local contingent. There are a lot of guests from India.
I like this hotel! Yes, the building itself honestly needs repair, but the staff is caring and the cost is pleasantly surprising! After all, this is the center of Tashkent, and for us, our native place is next to the park. The cherry on the cake is an awesome swimming pool. On hot days, it is simply an indispensable attribute of the hotel
The location is good, but the rooms are completely outdated, as if from the year 85. Old furniture, dirty, bad coffee, tasteless breakfasts. At the same time, the price is like a normal hotel. It's better not to stop here.
The convenient location of the hotel, friendly staff, but not a very new room stock. There is almost no television. The bathroom is terribly uncomfortable. Nice pool. In general, it is acceptable to stay for unassuming people. There are many shops and cafes nearby.
A good hotel, although it is no longer the first freshness! There are flaws in the rooms, BUT they are large and quite cozy! They clean them every day. Among the advantages: good location, close to the metro, and a bunch of restaurants, its own swimming pool, quite a variety of breakfasts. Cons as for me, there is a feeling of some kind of wear and tear in everything. There is a lack of fresh renovation, and almost everywhere, a slightly dull, boring lobby. Dirty windows were annoying, i.e. the facade and windows were not really washed from the outside, it seems, for a very long time! In general, there is something to strive for, but the price-quality personally satisfied me

A lost place at a horse price, only the pictures are beautiful, in fact- Dirt! The rudest, incompetent staff! The pool is citywide!The townspeople are overwhelmed and it's a shock! The Internet is the weakest, TV does not work, even local channels! The buffet is not bad, but not ice, there is no meat, only one chicken dish!
In general, you are not welcome there for your money... Don't throw them away!
In general, it is very well suited to meet guests from other countries, I liked how they have everything there in lakshuri. But the main problem is that there is not enough space for parking or I entered from the back entrance)
The location is very good - the city center. The rooms make a strange impression. A broken system of plastic key cards (ordinary ones were issued instead). A huge suite with a bathtub and a shower cabin and at the same time only one lamp is working for the whole room. At the same time, everything is clean, bathroom kits, slippers and bathrobes are provided. The breakfasts are very poor. Wi-Fi is practically not working.
A wonderful hotel in the center of Tashkent. Very convenient location, close to many restaurants, cafes. Across the street is a beautiful park and the coolest disco in Tashkent, the hotel has a swimming pool that is very useful in hot weather. I recommend.
I was in the pool at the hotel, quite large and deep, there are not so many people, there is where to swim, the contingent of visitors consists of decent and adequate people, the water is clean, the locker rooms are too, the staff is polite
The hotel is already shabby, you enter the entourage, everything is expensive and rich. The rooms are clean, but minor flaws create the opposite impression.1 is the lighting - 1.5 light bulbs per room - it's terrible, I asked for 3 days to screw the light bulbs into the bedside lamps, but alas! The curtains were partially torn off, and it was possible to hang them. The bathroom is a separate minus, clean! But, of course, it was possible to put plums, not holes, there are hair dryers, but take your own, the taps are buzzing so that you jump up. There were a lot of us, we were lucky - we had a door! And on the curtain with slits. Closets are fine, but there are no hangers, even if you glue the hooks, there is no light there again, the reflection from the toilet saved, but if someone occupied the toilet, you get dressed in the dark. And now a special "thank you" for the beds! A tree, even if you put mattresses on it, it feels like you're sleeping on the floor! The pillows and blankets are gorgeous! There is no heating, heating is an air conditioner, but you need talent to set it up, and when it buzzes all night, too, it does not please, the switch, you enjoy the silence, but after 30 minutes it freezes. 3 days of headache - darkness and the howling of the air conditioner! And all this is not very cheap! Such a good economy level at VIP prices!
A very cozy hotel. The staff is also polite in the city center. The pool is also clean. There is a restaurant near the pool and I don't know the prices
The hotel is located in the very center, everything is within walking distance. The rooms are good, but some issues require repair. Breakfasts are preferably more varied. The staff is different, mostly helpful.
Positive:
Delicious varied breakfast
Free swimming pool
Free water in the room, tea and coffee maker.
The location is excellent
A wonderful set of bathroom accessories
Minuses:
There was a renovation on the 6th floor and we were woken up with a drill in the morning
The rooms are slightly shabby
I liked everything, I recommend it! The staff is polite, all information is provided, the rooms are cleaned daily, the breakfasts are edible, delicious, buffet👌Pool 🔥, always clean and well maintained, the water was cool for 50 °C heat 👍👍👍
The hotel is in the center, it is convenient. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby . There is a kettle, tea, instant coffee, sugar and two bottles of water in the room. Taps are leaking, things are missing from the room. There was no cleaning in two days. The staff at the reception is as slow as possible. Breakfast is very meager, but if you don't complain, you won't stay hungry. The hotel is undergoing renovation on the 6th floor. For its price, it is a normal hotel.
I would recommend it. It is expensive for Tashkent, but the staff is at the highest level, the rooms are large and cozy. Almost everything works.) - an iron was needed, it was brought, it is not heated.. They brought the second one - the wire falls off))
This is not a foursome. This is a very average three.
The windows do not open, the breakfasts are satisfactory but the coffee is paid (!?)
The rooms are inconveniently equipped, in the bathroom you need to wait 5-7 minutes for hot water to flow (oh yes, not a five-star one)
Maybe it was a good hotel once, but he was very tired. Greasy, burnt furniture in some places. One of the advantages is the location. For some reason, they give one key in the room for two, in order to get a second one at the reception, they promise to ask the permission of some manager. Nonsense.
