An amazing story of dedication, hard work and dedication. Now I know how temples were created, carved into the rock with a hammer and chisel. Be sure to visit this place, a real home museum of the Man who created his masterpiece!
An interesting place that looks much more majestic in person than in photographs.
There was not enough more detailed story, albeit with embellishment, as well as coffee and gatherings in the garden
It is a dangerous place, the vaults of the cave are not reinforced with anything - soft soil (sand with clay) can be scratched with a fingernail, it does not feel safe.
The guide, who is Levon's daughter, tries to portray pride in her father, but sincere pride is felt when she talks about famous people who are guests of this place.
Of course, a lot of work has been put into this place - it's impressive!
A monument to how you can live your life uselessly and ruin the life of your wife and children. I spent 23 years digging a hole in a stone, and my wife, in a difficult and hungry time, raised four daughters and fed her husband, who dreamed something there. The wife is a hero, she is already over 80, the husband is an extremely stubborn fanatic, who left at the age of 63. As a result, there is a cave that everyone is breaking into, to which the family is attached and cannot do anything else. They haven't been happy with the endless stream of guests for a long time, but they can't do anything about this fame.
Very magical and unusual!!! It is even worth visiting and appreciating the work of Master Levon! To dig out such a temple manually, without any electric or pneumatic tools, in several decades!!! How much effort and labor, how much effort... Very impressive!
An amazing place, a man has done a herculean job in creating this place. The tour is conducted by his daughter, and his wife continues to live in this house, who initially wanted to make just a cellar)
It is a very interesting place, but it is decent to drive from Yerevan and there is no booking a place on the Internet. Knock on the door and they will open it for you and give you a tour.
In general, it is an extraordinary place. The result and source of extraordinary faith, hard work, creativity, independence and absolute involvement in the business of a lifetime. It so happens that a person chooses a path and then no obstacles are an obstacle to him. A place of power and admiration!!!!
It's an amazing place. For 27 years, Grandfather Levon manually built a cave under his house, with steps, tunnels, rooms. He decorated it by hollowing out patterns, crosses on the walls. It's very interesting to get around everything. The tour is conducted by Levon's daughter. They were not recorded beforehand. The place is very interesting, we recommend you to visit.
A very interesting place where a man, at the call of God and his heart, alone dug an underground tunnel, for 23 years, spiraling 15-17 meters underground, if memory serves. The entire dungeon is decorated with crosses and religious motifs. It is very beautiful and interesting.
It was a strange tour, but you can go and be surprised. In 5 minutes we went through the dungeon at the speed of light, Levon's daughter met us, and led us quickly, perhaps because it was cold
there, even steam was coming out of her mouth. It is better to go there by taxi, and have the taxi driver wait for you, otherwise you will not leave that place, the difficulty is that there is no Internet.
Cool, I didn't expect to see this. This cave is known almost all over the world, but little is known in Armenia. We met our daughter, our wife, and had an individual tour, we really liked it
We stopped by in the morning without a guide, the tour was conducted by Levon's daughter.
The place is amazing especially at the moment when you realize that this is the work of one person.
An interesting place. The history of creation is interesting. An unusual attraction. I recommend a visit. Important: do not repeat it at your country house, especially in central Russia🤣
Positive:
- An unusual place.
- A mini-tour, and not just running around the tunnels.
P.S. At least once you definitely need to go and see. For those who are going to watch something not quite ordinary, and not just wallow in pools. At the end of the climb from the tunnel there is a room with his tools and a map of the world where tourists put marks.
An amazing place in Yerevan. A unique cave has been created in a small private house, going 17 meters deep! Man has been creating this amazing beauty by hand for two decades. It's worth seeing!
The cave was very beautiful! But Levon's own daughter gave us a terrible "tour"! I took the money for the entrance, for the tour, but I didn't tell anything, but just walked through the corridors, after 20 minutes they kicked us out, saying that the tour was over!
It's a very interesting place, I don't want to tell anything, just come and see. I've never seen anything like it. In my opinion, souvenirs are too expensive.
Honestly, I can't write a good review.
The cave is interesting but! For such a cave, the entrance of 2000 meters is too much. You can't be there yourself. Only under the close attention of the owner, and as a result, max. I was there for 10 minutes... Don't come here. I walked the path along the string and that's it, I didn't have time to look for exposure frames.. .calmly, calmly, do not look at everything.... I would have hung there for an hour...but alas.
A very interesting place, a man manually dug a cave 21 meters down, worked for 23 years. This deserves respect and admiration. We stopped by by accident, but we were delighted, we felt the scale of the work done and some kind of favorable aura.
An interesting place. You can get there by taxi. The tour takes 30-40 minutes. Souvenirs are better to take at the opening day, where they are significantly cheaper.
At first , they barely opened it to us , and then , with the speed of the wind , they led us up the stairs before they had time to come to their senses …
And so of course the handiwork is amazing!
