The space itself is 5/5 The organization is 2/5
We ordered dinner for 8 people.
The main points that spoiled the impression:
⁃ did not observe the timing. It was agreed that 2 hours are laid for dinner (cooking + dinner itself). We also paid for the extension of the hall for 2 hours on top to have time to play games, chat, etc. As a result, only the cooking took 1 hour and 50 minutes. We were asked to go outside for 10 minutes to set the table, but we stood outside for almost 30 minutes (not very comfortable). The traffic jams were knocked out in the room, it was necessary to wait for a neighbor who would open the flap. That is, the problem was not in the area, but specifically in this room. There was no light for about 40 minutes. No one compensated us for this time. The dinner itself started only 2.5 hours after the start of the event. We asked to extend the time by an hour due to the fact that everything was delayed. We were asked for 60 GEL. Although initially 40 GEL was paid for the extension. And even before the event, we were offered to stay until 23 (no one mentioned the increased price for this hour)
. When we were cooking, one of us took a glass in his hand and it burst exactly along the edge. At the end of the evening, when they paid extra for the last hour, GEL 15 per glass was deducted from the change. The glasses were so cheap that at first it seemed to us that they were made of plastic at all. And in general, even in restaurants in Georgia, no one will take money for a broken glass, especially so "under the guise".
5 days before the event, they clarified whether it was possible to refund the prepayment for one person, because force majeure had occurred. They said that then the cost for each would be higher (it is not spelled out anywhere), and they have already purchased products. I wonder what products can be bought 5 days before the event, given that everything is perishable.
The little things that were added from above:
⁃ happy birthday and decorated the hall in this theme, although we came for a different reason altogether
Wine snacks did not involve skewers or toothpicks. Everyone had to take the slicing by hand.
The girl who conducted the master class was annoyed and answered sharply. Yes, there are 8 of us, yes, we have a lot of questions. But this is normal, given the format and the number of people. If the staff is uncomfortable working with so many people, then why agree to such an event?
There were no glasses for water or juice on the tables, no napkins, no additional appliances and plates separately for dessert (everyone saw that we brought a cake). I had to ask for everything. By the way, they did not offer to cut the cake and put it away somewhere, they just said that there was no place in the refrigerator and that was it. Naturally, the cake flowed and lost its appearance all the time. By the way, in Georgian cafes they always cut the cake and pack it with them, even if you don't ask for it.
The lasagna that we cooked was not baked. Everyone noticed it. We left feedback on this, but said that "this is how it should be."
In short, if you make a dinner with a check for one, as in a good restaurant, then match this price list.
Oh, I hate writing reviews, and even more so if you have to write a negative, but since you decided that it would be more profitable for you to turn the situation around, then fine. Of course, the place is really incredibly beautiful, cozy and aesthetic, but the exterior does not add up to the interior at all. I was incredibly amused by your phrase "we are engaged in the restoration of expensive dishes", I apologize, but how do you restore a BURST (not broken) wine glass, which costs 4 lari at most? Are you really sitting and gluing together pieces? You say that you are ready to work with criticism, but when you were told that the lasagna is a little damp, you replied "that's how it should be." No, it shouldn't be like that. You either accept criticism or don't work with people. I'm just shocked by this turn of events, where we were also exposed as guilty, it's just terrible. Well, the lies about turning off the lights for 10 minutes were very funny. Consumables, apparently, were not included in the price. I had to use my own napkins, which were in my purse. We took the cheese with our hands, apparently we had to bring toothpicks /skewers with us too. In general, with this approach to clients, I wish you prosperity and all the best)
A wonderful, cozy place! And the owners of this wonderful workshop are very positive guys! The master classes are interesting and positive! Every child, and even an adult, will find their interest!!! We will definitely visit this wonderful place! 💕🍀💕
