A very decent hotel for your money, the rooms are not large, but everything is clean, neat, there are drinks at the reception, an elevator. I recommend
The hotel is not bad, but it is already tired and needs renovation. I really liked the girl at the reception. She explained everything and was very polite.
A terrible, dirty, fucked-up hotel.. I can compare it to a flophouse..! And this is in the center of Astana! The staff is simply not well-mannered, not that educated..they eat and chatter with the company right in the lobby.. People, it's easier to go to a hostel, it sucks..the room service was not seen, the breakfast is terrible. We were in the middle of October 2022.
We were at the end of July.
The rooms are of course royal in decor, they were booked and lived for the sake of the photo)
The staff is good.
The only drawback is that you need to wait about 15 minutes for hot water to flow.
The rooms are nice, but it's a little cold. The restaurant is closed, which is also inconvenient. Upon arrival, the receptionist was rude at the reception, which was also not pleasant. In general, you can spend the night, but do not stay there.

If it would be possible to put 0 stars, I would. A terrible hotel, a swarm of mosquitoes flew in the room at night, they had a hysterical snack, as a result, I couldn't sleep before the flight, the receptionist shrugged her shoulders when asked about at least some kind of mosquito repellent, saying that we probably opened the windows in the room, although we didn't even touch the windows!!! When asked to give a basin for washing clothes, she said that she could not help, the laundress would come only at 7 a.m. the next day, it was strange that the administrator did not have the keys to the laundry, or simply did not want to bother. The refrigerator in the room does not work, the socket is torn out, hanging from the wall, hair on the floor, they came into the room for three, family room, but they put accessories only for two, towels with ingrained yellow spots)))))) The final picture is the interior, as already written in the reviews, "Gypsy style", and it is. Just close up, and that's it, if you keep the service at the level of a station guest house, or a brothel with a sauna.
The interior is amazing. You spend the night at the Hermitage.
There are no air conditioners, and given the hordes of mosquitoes, you can't open the window.
The water in the tap is either boiling water or icy or does not run) it was not possible to wash properly.
But it's beautiful, yes...
we didn't take breakfast, we had breakfast in a cafe a block away.
And everything seems to be clean, but the feeling is that it is "for rent" with all the consequences. Well, the specific Kazakh (like any Oriental) design is suggestive. The location is so-so - the old part of Astana, to all the local "attractions" to go and go.
It's a creepy place. There are several saunas with karaoke on the ground floor, and some drunk people there are yelling songs until the morning. Moreover, the subwoofer is bone-chilling. The administration responds to the demand to ensure peace and sleep - we can't do anything. Besides, it's dirty.
Great hotel, the staff is helpful. I really liked it, I recommend it

Not only was they moved into an unmade room by mistake, but the music from the sauna was blaring all night and it was all perfectly audible in the room. In theory, if you do, the hotel can be properly fined for this, because the law on silence applies everywhere and in hotels too.
