There are many different Lycian tombs and sarcophagi in the cities of Turkey. Tombs are structures carved into the rock, and sarcophagi were made of large boulders already on a flat surface. Several generations of the family could be buried there along with various luxury items. Today, everything has long been opened by looters and looted.
