Look carefully at the departures-we found out in a couple of days, were unpleasantly surprised, we were told-sorry,yes,we flew here with Aeroflot baggage 23 ,excellent service,food,movies on board everything is super,a suite for 2 adults and a child of 11 years old with a sea view was booked, arrived around 17 , the hotel on respect immediately showed well, the worst rooms killed are very small, two beds, nowhere to go,they returned -they asked to change, they gave a room in another wing, the repair is fresh, the room is large, one bed and two armchairs, the view is bad, very "conditionally" on the sea,overlooking a garbage dump and a public toilet,well come on, we thought it was convenient for us, we flew in a company and everything seemed to be convenient in one building, we are waiting for a third bed for a child, and here it turns out that the concept of the hotel does not provide for bringing a bed to a child under 12 years old-he sleeps with his parents on a double bed! And if you want a separate one-$ 20 per day and everything is equal to what is written in the voucher 2 + extrabed!!! We survived the night before meeting with the guide at 10:30, the Sultan seemed friendly and sensible, assured that there would be a bed, but nothing changed until the evening-they wrote to Russia to Fly, they sent back to the guide, again wrote to the guide-he arrived at 20:30

We stayed at this hotel for 11 days. There have been many times in Egypt with which to compare. 5 can only be placed on the beach. The rest are not higher than a score of 1. The hotel is small, there is no territory, the rooms are very old (the shower does not work, the cards do not open the doors the first time, etc.). According to nutrition, it is clear that you will not be hungry, but you will not be able to eat delicious food. We often ate in restaurants outside the hotel. If you want to relax, I do not recommend choosing this hotel, but to see more robust 4. In my opinion, good reviews are written by people who have not been to Egypt and there is no comparison and representation of quality and service.

The hotel is disgusting, I visit Egypt 5 times, the first time in Charm, the worst hotel.
The staff can not cope with the number of guests, there are not enough tables, there are kilometer-long queues for breakfast, queues for coffee. I know Egyptian cuisine, without frills, but there is always a choice, everything is very scarce in this hotel, there are practically no fruits, even dates, which they had at every turn. There are snacks between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner in theory, but due to the influx of locals, 80% of them are vacationers there, no one just had time to get to these rolls. Snacks, by the way, are also disgusting. The pool area is not very good, for those who like to lie by the pool more than by the sea - definitely not in this hotel. Animation is also at zero🤦♀️ they can't organize anything during the day, volleyball was spontaneously organized by the vacationers themselves, the evening program is repeated every other day, sometimes it was voiceless singers doing their own business during the performance, talking to a friend or hanging on a laptop, it seemed that everything was just off🤦♀️ children's animation It was also at zero, boring, monotonous, the same thing every day, I felt sorry for the children. I definitely categorically do not recommend this Marina to families with children!
Despite the fact that it is exclusive, the wine in the restaurant-dining room was paid, the bar on the territory of the hotel becomes paid after 22, even billiards and table tennis are paid, for the first time I meet such an "excellent" service.
The room is standard, it's just a cave, small, dark, there is no balcony, only a bed was placed from the interior, the only plus of this room, everything else is old, dirty, the TV does not work, the hair dryer does not work😱 construction begins outside the front door from 7 a.m., the noise is wild.
On the 4th day of our vacation, two letters in the name of the hotel burned out, which clearly characterizes this hotel not for the better.
To sum up, the hotel is on a 5-point scale - 0, it is definitely not worth your money for the tour. I do not recommend it to tourists!

It is confusing and incomprehensible, especially considering the positioning of the hotel as a 4* category "All". First they settle in one room, then it turns out that the number is not the same (someone got something mixed up), they offer to pay an additional $ 45 / day. We laugh together.
The "other" number turns out to be very strange, refused. We offered several more options to choose from, some of them are even worse, some are simply not ready, but as a result, we find an option better than the original one and without any additional payments.
That is, with some pressure, it is possible to choose the most decent number (but this is at the beginning of September).
An unpleasant, but not critical moment: initially communicating perfectly in Russian, when questions arise, the staff abruptly ceases to understand you. Okay, we're not proud, we're switching to English.
Regardless of the categories (from suite to standard), the condition of the hotel's room stock is the level of average fatigue.
All rooms have similar problems, current plumbing, strange-looking trash cans without lids (they are apparently kicked here), air conditioners working in "on-off" mode, buggy electronic door locks, and so on. Issues are resolved as they are identified.
The quality of cleaning is very average everywhere - when looking at the options for replacing the initially provided room (see above), everything was found: from sand on the floor and papers in the cabinets, to someone's lost hair and obviously stale (but neatly laid!) towels. As it turned out later, during the guests' stay, no one changes the towels, they are simply neatly folded and cooled into place. Sweeping floors (not to mention wet cleaning) also, no one bothers themselves the same way - on the day of settlement, the spouse dropped the pill and did not immediately find it, and after four days we found her darling lying under the table behind the leg.
But still the air conditioners are working, there is cold and hot water, the doors are closed, the curtains protect from the African sun, that is, you can live.
Territory. If we consider the site directly adjacent to the hotel as a territory, then there is actually no territory. That is, not at all, because the lawn in front of the animation scene is simply ridiculous to perceive as a "territory".
However, there is another part across the road (the roadway), on which there are three swimming pools and the beach itself.
But if this site is considered as a hotel territory, then it is quite good: it is kept clean, there are enough sun beds both by the pool and on the beach, the sand and tiles are clean.
Of the minuses, the transition to the "beach-pool" part of the territory is possible either through the lobby and the street (that is, it is not comfortable to go in a bathing suit at all), or through the "bridge" at the level of the third floor, or through the "gate" in the fence, but the bridge and the gate open and close according to a very strange schedule so it's easier to get dressed normally, proudly walk through the hall, cross the street, and already at the pool or on the beach to take the form of a vacationer.
Beach and swimming pools.
The beach at the hotel is sandy, the water and bottom are clean (except for a few small stones), the depth rises smoothly. In the area of restrictive buoys at normal water level, the depth is about 1.6 m, but at low tide, the water level there is slightly above the knee.
Tides happen every day, so bathing time needs to be "caught", but in the morning everything is usually fine.
The hotel has three swimming pools: a variable depth pool (1.7m - 1m), a flat 1.5m deep pool and a shallow children's pool.
The pools are clean, the water is clear, as I have already noted - there are enough sun beds and umbrellas, free space can be found almost always.
There is a bar with drinks in the pool area, periodically something ends there, but issues are resolved very quickly.
Yes, swimming in the Red Sea at night is prohibited and there are reasons for this, but a ban on walking on the beach?.. We are coming here because it is on the SEA, the sea is here, a hundred meters away, but you can only get to it according to the schedule, from 09:00 to 18:00, that is, in the heat, and when the sun is still (or already) not baking, respectively, it would be as pleasant as possible to be near the sea - alas: enjoy the view from behind the fence. But order is order, you just need to keep this in mind.
Animation.
It's hard to say anything here.
Children's animation at the level of Tunisia in 2003 (I then watched it at the Marhaba Beach hotel). Incredibly, but a fact: on children's animation, even the music is the same (!) with the same disgusting sound quality.
An adult?... Well , how to say…
In many reviews they write that in Egypt everything there is designed exclusively for locals, we have to state that yes - it is so. During the entire stay, only one evening passed without an obvious bias in Arabic themes, but here is the other extreme: an evening of Spanish motifs. Why such one-sidedness? Riddle.
Perhaps the reason for the relaxation of animators in the low season, but for hotel guests this is not an excuse.
But across the street, on Tuesdays and Fridays until three o'clock in the morning, the sound is very decent, the equipment is good and gives out such a level of sound pressure that on the fifth floor of the hotel from the "bottoms" in a glass on the table there are ripples and double-glazed windows tremble. This is especially felt in the far (left, if you stand with your back to the sea) part, there is a disco almost opposite, keep this in mind, especially if you have children with you.
Kitchen and restaurant.
This is an element to which there are minimum claims, only positive emotions. Sometimes it even seems that the hotel and the restaurant are completely different organizations, so they have a different level of service.
The service is excellent, the staff is polite, helpful and very nimble. Despite a decent full load, there is no fuss in the hall, while the tables are quickly cleaned and covered again. The set of dishes is diverse and will probably satisfy most guests. There are national elements in meat dishes, desserts, sauces and seasonings.
As bottlenecks, we can note only a somewhat vague organization of the bottling of drinks, but this is by and large the cost of catering according to the "buffet" type.
Some visitors complain about the small amount of fruit, I can't say for sure, but there seem to be few of them in Egypt, in principle, the desert is still!…
The hotel's surroundings and infrastructure.
The hotel is located almost at the very end of the cape bordering Naama bay from the south, that is, there is nowhere to go along the coast towards the sea. But in the opposite direction there is direct access to one of the main shopping and entertainment streets of the city and to the promenade along the Gulf coast.
You don't need to go anywhere: there are plenty of shops, cafes and other establishments within walking distance, so this is an undoubted plus for party lovers.
One of the disadvantages is probably that the prices and the set of products presented do not differ in variety - the same thing is sold everywhere and at almost the same prices.
But there is a lot of sparkle, noise, a lot of people, that is, not boring.

We rested with a child of 6 years from 02/11/2023 to 02/21/2023. Honestly, the hotel is a good three-piece, we arrived at the hotel at 5 a.m. bracelets are not immediately put on and are not settled, despite what is with the child, we put on bracelets after breakfast is over and it ends at 10 a.m., no one will give water for free either, you just sit and wait for check-in, they motivate this by the fact that all rooms are occupied even for money as a result, at 13:00, first to the room on the ground floor with broken furniture, when she asked to move, they overpowered her to the second floor a little better in the room, 3 meals a day, no fries,burgers near the pool and on the beach,there are sandwiches from the dining room with breakfast,the pools are not heated, although it is stated that there is a pool with heated, Wi-Fi 4GB for free, then $ 1 per day and paid in advance, it was a surprise for us that when we left they asked for $ 1 for the Internet, they tried to argue that we paid otherwise nothing would work, but it was useless the person at the reception waited for $ 1 was given, animation for adults is normal for children, I think no when animators need to dance they kick the children off the stage, so did the animator Katya (the territory is not big, cozy, the sea and sand are great for children, there is no alcohol, local spirits and beer for free, it's delicious at home in the dining room, but I didn't really have anything to feed the child, there were no porridges, no fries or nuggets, he is very he likes to eat it on vacation, but in general, the rest was a success thanks to the excursions! The worst hotel in the history of trips to the sea. Animation works very noisily almost around the clock. We sat at the reception until 22.30, because it is impossible to stay in the room because of the screaming multi-watt speakers aimed directly at the hotel windows, and at night-night discos until 4 am. The food is monotonous, the coffee is delicious, poured into paper cups in the buffet, where there is always a queue, there is no porridge for breakfast, wine is paid, cocktails are paid, table tennis is paid. There are not enough sunbeds at sea, everything is busy in the morning, the sea is boring, a couple of fish swam, the bed linen has not been changed once in 12 days, Arabs bathe their children in diapers in the pool, they spit there as they pass by. I don't advise anyone.

We are currently vacationing in Marina Charm, I was not too lazy and decided to write a review. A huge plus of the hotel is the restaurant, the food is not just delicious, but divinely delicious. Everything is delicious, just everything. The waiters are trying, they take out the food right before the restaurant closes, there are practically no queues, but we did not come to the beginning. The sea and the beach are cool. Animation is sluggish, but maybe the season plays a role.
