The hotel is very good for 5+.It is now called Berry Hotels Sorgun 5*. We have been with my daughter since 01.07.24. The rooms are excellent - everything is new. the territory is very beautiful, well-groomed, the very place for beautiful photos! the beach is also great. (sand, small pebbles at the entrance, in the sea itself - large stones on which it is comfortable to stand) the beach is completely sand. The staff is good. Sign up for Alaska on the first day (we didn't manage to get in). The food is varied and delicious.
We liked everything., we were very satisfied.

I don't recommend going there. The food is poor, the rooms are old. I had to beg for cleaning, there was a smell of sewage in the room. We chose this hotel only because it was stated that there is baby food, there is none. There is no Internet anywhere, even after paying $ 20 for it, I was disconnected all the time. They went to the reception as if they were going to work, they listened there and decided nothing. Everything is abandoned, it was probably good once, but not now. I want to mention the delicious biscuits)) and pies! It's on top!) The chefs tried their best, the kebabs are delicious. Friendly bartenders. There are friendly guys at the beach bar!

We had a family vacation with a child from August 14 to 24, 2022. In the preface, I will say that we drove for the sun, the sea, and set up not to pay attention to the little things, so our vacation, in principle, was a success. The hotel is certainly not 5 or even 4, but a solid three (alas, for this not a small price). I am unlikely to return to this hotel. I hope my notes will help you navigate and relax without stress.:
1. Check-in at 7 a.m., checked in at 10:30, the reception staff knows Russian, is quite friendly. If you are not rude and friendly, you will be treated the same way.
2. Room for 4. The furniture is not dilapidated. The windows overlooked the woods to the left of the hotel. Everything worked in the room (the air conditioner is old, it blows weakly. Tip: use the "turbo" button on the hidden keyboard of the remote control - then it's normal). If you are traveling with children, take a mosquito repellent that is plugged into an outlet. Mine was badly bitten on the first night (but this is not a claim to the hotel). You will be cleaned without any problems if you turn on the green indicator on the room panel. They wiped the floor and changed the towels. The bed linen was changed a couple of times. I didn't bother with it thoroughly, everything is fine, they left a tip once.
3. The power supply is 4 with a minus. Everything is like in all hotels in Turkey: chicken / fish (by the way, they grill in this hotel daily), sliced tomatoes / cucumbers with different herbs, mashed soups: one tomato, the other mushroom or bean spicy. There is nothing special for children. Our child ate mashed soups and French fries, and sometimes chicken.
There are always ripe watermelons/melons from fruits.
I didn't notice any special queues in the restaurant and bars, you could always find dishes and tables. The only thing is that the tables in the restaurant building are always occupied by the first ones, because there are air conditioners there.
4. Alcohol for 3. Beer is normal. It is not possible to drink wine and other drinks (whiskey, rum and colorful cocktails).This is not the first time we have been to Turkey, I have never seen such a disgusting wine anywhere. It's good that you bought in Duty Free.
5. Animation is quite active + discos almost every day. But we are lazy - we did not participate. Already at the end of the vacation, they began to go to evening shows, it was quite fun.
6. The hotel has the opportunity to order a hookah on the terrace in the evenings.
7. There is a place to walk / go. The nearest market is a 10-minute walk away. It takes 15 minutes by bus to Side (Side ruins) 11. To Manavgat for shopping (Mall), take 15 minutes by bus 2 (back changes the sign to 10).
8. Beach towels are given at the Spa from 08:30 for all guests, including children.
9. Bottled water in the hotel is given without restrictions in 0.3 bottles in the lobby bar, by the pool and on the beach Sometimes the cleaner put it in the refrigerator.
10. Upon arrival, the hotel was sooo dirty: dirty tables in the lobby and garbage under the tables, all the windows dirty, stained, tables in the dining room in a thick layer of grease, dirty toilets. In the following days, the cleaning became better, the workers constantly washed the lobby, probably someone complained and it became cleaner. In general, I read about this dirt and dirty dishes in the reviews before the trip, so I prepared myself: I gave the child Polysorb and Arbidol daily in a preventive dose. I took medications for intestinal disorders. It's good that no one is sick.
11. I especially want to mention the beach and the beach bar. They are not just dirty, there is complete unsanitary conditions, a street cat sleeps on the bartender's table, terrible changing rooms and toilets (worse than train stations!!!). Sun beds and deck chairs can always be found, but they are very old and require renovation. No one cleans up the beach, cups and steers are lying everywhere.
Entrance to the sea: small pebbles, not very convenient, especially for children. The sea, the beautiful sea, it is not possible to spoil it! But sometimes it is with a wave, sometimes dirty (the waves bring algae and muddy water from the bottom), but not critical.
The road to the beach is about 600m along a tiled path, there is an unkempt forest around, garbage, sick cats are sitting on the side of the road, once even a dead torn cat was lying around, it's terrible ...
12. The Internet in the hotel is only paid.
We bought a 20GB SIM card in Manavgat for about 2000 rubles with our money and distributed it to each other.
13. We took the Mir Tinkoff card with us, mostly paid with it and withdrew lira from it (the nearest ATMs are on the market 10 minutes walk from the hotel and also in the Mall in Manavgat).

Disgusting hotel! We rested from 08/03/2012 to 08/16/2012.
My husband and I have been waiting for this holiday for a very long time. For a well-known reason, there was not much to choose from, so we went to Turkey.
We arrived at the hotel, we were put in an economy class room in the attic, which is in a rather "dead" condition, and not the standard for which we initially paid. With the help of a bill with a portrait of the seventh president of the United States, on the second day of arrival, we asked for a room on the fourth floor at the reception (the same standard).
The room is cleaned every day, towels and bed linen are also changed every day, subject to a tip. Nevertheless, there were greasy stains all over the surface of the door, cracked tiles in the bathroom, a non-working steaming hair dryer. The bed linen was clean, but sometimes stains of an incomprehensible nature slipped through.I will immediately note that when we asked for two warm blankets at the reception, they were brought to us 2 hours later.
The air conditioner cooled the air for a very long time. If you set the temperature to +25, then cold air is still blowing. And it is unrealistic to stay in the room without air conditioning, because it is very stuffy outside. There are no warm blankets in the closets, we were given only sheets.
The staff is unfriendly. The reception is always unhappy with the administration. The cleaner came into the room despite the sign "Do not disturb". It happened several times. After dinner, they went to bed, so she knocked and, without waiting for an answer, immediately began to open the door. The husband was furious. First of all, we were asleep, and she woke us up. Secondly, I'm sorry, but we were in our underwear.
The kitchen is peculiar! The menu is quite monotonous, although there is a lot of food on the tables. Periodically smells of rotten food from the kitchen, dirty. Unwashed plates are often found! There are few tables, sometimes you had to stand and wait for someone to make room.
The lobby is beautiful, spacious, with lots of sofas and tables, but no one cleans there - the tables are constantly dirty. Plus, the air conditioners are turned off in the evening, it is impossible to be there.
The beach is dirty. There are not enough deck chairs, there are cigarette butts all around. There is garbage floating in the sea: disposable cups, for example. But the sea is very warm and pleasant.
The territory of the hotel is small, but well-maintained, beautiful. There is a clean swimming pool, two small slides for children. The path to the beach causes a twofold feeling: it seems that you are walking through a coniferous forest with an amazing smell and shade, but at the same time, garbage is lying at a distance of one and a half meters from the path at any time of the day (that is, it is not related to the lack of time for cleaning staff).
I would like to mention the good animation for both adults and children.
There are no working scales anywhere in the hotel, provided there is a gym and a spa. We wanted to weigh the suitcase before leaving for the airport. We went down to the lobby, where there are huge special scales for suitcases. They refused to weigh us there because the scales were not working. We were offered shifts, which we could use only after 12.00 a.m., because someone from the staff took them away. Naturally, we refused, since the transfer was supposed to arrive for us at 05.30, I wanted to get some sleep on the track.
We also asked about the dry ration, this is not provided in this hotel. We left early in the morning, we wanted to take at least something from the buffet with us, we were also not allowed.
The hotel does not correspond to 5 stars at all. The maximum is 3.
I would like to emphasize that the hotel does not respond to letters from tour operators, that is, there is no feedback. My husband had a birthday, he was not even congratulated.
I do not recommend this hotel.

While on the plane on the way back, I decided to spend some time writing a review of the Maya world side 5* hotel.
Let's start with the check-in, in this hotel many visitors are accommodated in wonderful rooms, or as I called them quarantine. These are the shabbiest rooms of all the rooms in this hotel. we were checked in at 12 o'clock at night in one of these rooms with non-working air conditioning. Waking up at 5 a.m. from the stuffiness, heat, and headache, at 7 a.m. we went to ask us to change the room. It lasted more than 2 hours (we were assured that everything was fine), at first they tried to revive the air conditioner, only after that when they realized that regular cleaning of the filter would help the air conditioner, which does not have freon, they decided to give us another room. It wasn't much better there, the air conditioner cooled down a little bit.
If the thesis is:
- the tubby hotel
- The territory is small
- There is no cleaning in the rooms in principle
- The staff is untrained, they have no motivation to do their job efficiently
- Eternal queues at the bar (even stupidly for water)
Food:
The restaurant got the impression that we did not come to Turkey, but to India, because you will never see beef here. Apparently, she has also become a sacred animal for them. One chicken and incomprehensible cutlets with an incomprehensible composition.
Meals for 4 with a big minus
You will not see waiters here who will ask what to pour for you and pour it, they are stupidly not there, only cleaners, slow cleaners. If you want drinks, we're standing in line. If you want to grill something there, we stand in line. There are not enough dishes, tables, respectively, too.
There is only one A LA CARTE restaurant, and I do not recommend going there, whoever was there will understand. It's better to stand in queues in the canteen.
Animation is dead, whether in the hotel or on the beach.
The sea and the road to it:
The only thing that the management and staff of the hotel could not spoil was the sea.
It was ruined by tourists and locals.
In the morning it's still not bad, it's clean, but after lunch the entire coastal area is covered with garbage, plastic, and all other traces of human piggery. Children swim in the garbage near the shore.
The road to the sea is 10 minutes slowly along a dirty, not well-groomed alley. There's the same dirty bar from the hotel.
In general, being an optimist in principle, I spent all 11 nights trying to find something good in this hellhole. Only watermelon comes to mind.
The hotel is a good three, but not a four, and even more so a five. It is very important to understand this, then there will be no questions about the hotel in principle.
P.S. It was very funny to watch when the staff was shaking with laughter when I told them that we were sold this hotel as a 5*.

We had a rest in July , it 's a good 3 , but not a top five .The service sucks , you need to stand in line for food , they don 't pour several cocktails in a queue and often they are made without alcohol at all , you can 't have several cocktails, you can 't drink stronger , you drank 1 and stand in line for 15 minutes.The food is not tasty, there is no variety, French fries are the best of everything.There are a lot of people who need to look for tables if they came to eat later .The room is not very clean, the bed linen is dirty, it may not have been changed .
It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the sea, and as it was in the reviews, the beach is clean, but there are few free sunbeds, and by the way, they cannot be found by the pool, they take up in the evening .
We were settled at exactly 14:00, so we waited from 11 a.m.
Of course, we regretted that we got this hotel and for a lot of money, I do not recommend it!

Hello! We are currently vacationing at this hotel. The mood was not to look for flaws, because the mood is important in rest.
But! The animation is rotten here: aqua aerobics, water polo, darts (the winner is awarded with a throw into the pool, but at least something can be done). The shows are boring (no quibbles). It's really boring in the evening. There seems to be a children's room, but it does not function very well. The children were bored too.
When some children took free sausages during aqua aerobics, the free animator went and took them away because the management does not allow it.
The "clean room" button did not work in the room, the doors were stripped, there were stains from leaks on the ceiling, I saw it, but I did not worry, because we did not come to sit in the room. But when water began to drip from the ceiling onto my head exactly above the toilet, and then in other places, I already went to the administrator. We were relocated, but now we all sleep in different beds. But I came with my husband on vacation ((((they did not want to provide us with another room and at my request they somehow compensated for the inconvenience, they sent wine and fruits to the room, which we can collect in the dining room and on different beds it is not very appropriate to drink wine ((
I also slipped when moving in this puddle and I hurt my leg, I hope everything will be fine!
40% of the staff are sincere people, but the rest just hate us and show it in every possible way.
We wanted to enroll in a la carte, the administrator said that it was difficult to record our company of 10 people, we needed to come in 4 days, we were afraid not to make it and came in 3 days, to which we were reproached that we had already been here on this issue, but recorded. It was covered for 6, but everything was fixed.
They arrange a toy trade in the evening by the pool, our youngest took out his brain to buy an airplane.
They offer paid entertainment: rides in the pool for $ 20 per minute, an off-site disco (there is no one of its own, only music in the garden bar with about 10 tables), paid lotto. And you also hear in the lobby that the animator tells her friends who else to fuck with here. Not that I was eavesdropping, we were just sitting waiting for friends and the whole conversation was in front of us. Well, it's unpleasant. You work yourself, you wait a whole year for rest, and here it is. It would be better to spend money on the case.
In general, I do not recommend going to this hotel, we are not customer-oriented at all.

The skyline travel agency (we will deal with it separately) sold us this Hotel as an excellent 5-star hotel with a large territory, a varied kitchen and a cozy room and its own "clean" and "sandy" beach ... with an appropriate price tag for 5 stars ... and to my question: what about the notorious "mir" map there? Answer: everything is fine, you will be able to pay her everywhere without needing cash. As on Ali Express: expectation/ reality. By the way, the Hotel does not accept the mir card... why? The answer is simple: in Turkey, several banks work with it, and the bank in this hotel is not included in these several ... wi-fi is only paid, neither in the lobby (if you can call it that) nor in any other place of the "huge" territory of the hotel it is not! Only for payment... in cash... which, according to the manager of the Skyline travel agency, I will not need, because I have a card. By nightfall, my colleagues from the Russian Federation suggested to me that there is still a magic ATM that works with my card, but here's the bad luck: there is no cash there... and there is no wi-fi in the hotel without it… I'm not even going to focus on the dirt in the hotel, the obnoxious food, unripe fruits and alcohol right now, because this is at least 5-6 more pages. There is one conclusion: the photos are inappropriate, the Hotel does not officially have stars ... A 5* hotel does not pull at all. We had a rest a long time ago - back in 2018, but judging by the reviews, little has changed at the hotel. The standard room was booked - upon arrival, they were forcibly checked into the economy room under the amphitheater. The girl at the reception was very rude, almost shouted at us, telling us that there were no free standards and they would be available only tomorrow. We checked in - everything in the room was covered with mold, towels were stained yellow, the split did not work, it was impossible to open the door or window - a concert was booming upstairs in the amphitheater so that everything in the room bounces even with the door closed. Of course, it is unrealistic to sleep in such conditions after the flight. We went to the reception with pleas to move us to another room, there the angry girl was already replaced by a young guy who took pity on us and gave us the keys to a free standard room))) yes, it turned out that there were free rooms)))) He asked us to give him the key back early in the morning and not tell anyone that he let us in there. We were shocked by this attitude.
I would also like to note the terrible diet - there is nothing to eat except French fries, meat is a maximum of one type and that is fatty or burnt. The queue for drinks is 15 people. There are no free places in the restaurant, and if they are vacated, then no one cleans them and there are always not enough cutlery. The whole hotel is dirty, uncomfortable, indifferent rude staff.

Terrible staff! Upon arrival, we were offered a room in another nearby hotel, which is lower in level than we booked at this hotel. The rooms are all occupied. We are sitting waiting for a room with a small child. The attitude towards people is bestial. And I don't care that the baby is crying all over the hotel. And that the room was booked a month earlier. I do not recommend this hotel for recreation.

We rested at the hotel in September, 21. They offered to check into Maya Gulf, a nearby hotel of a lower class, for 2 nights. after that, we were promised a suite in the world. The promise was kept + free safe and Internet for 2 devices. Maya World.of course not 5 stars, but a good 4 for sure. I put 3 stars, since the hotel should have 3 stars instead of 5.
Minuses:
1. paid (expensive) and absolutely useless Wi-Fi, which outputs 0.5mbit/s in the room (practically nothing works), in the lobby a measly 1.5mbit/s. The year is 2022.
2. The air conditioner in the room is noisy (the external unit is on your balcony), it barely cools even in turbo mode. Copes only at night. It's 28 degrees in the room during the day, 24 in the evening.
3. Alcohol would be better not to offer than to pour it.. beer is urine 🤔

The area around the hotel is well maintained and beautiful. Lots of greenery. It is pleasant to walk to the sea - the path is accompanied by palm trees, pines, eucalyptus trees. And the aroma is pleasant and the shade, the sun does not hit much. The beach is good, it's better to go in the center (on the right there are such cobblestones that you can beat off all your legs, but in the middle there is an excellent approach). The water was warm and clean in September. But there is a disadvantage - in the season it is very difficult to find places on the sun beds. Some particularly gifted people just left their things, and they left or went for a walk and were not on the beach, they say neither to themselves nor to people. The food was ordinary, we didn't find fault at all, everyone found what they liked best for themselves. The only thing was there were no normal soups, only mashed soup. But the breakfasts and dinners were very varied. The hotel is cozy, everything is there for a comfortable and comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, we had cleaning almost every day. For children, the animation is fun, but monotonous. I was not at the adult animation, I went to bed early with the child. But for those who have older children or who are without children, I would advise them to go for a walk to the embankment, to the temple of Apollo after dinner. It is easy to get there by minibus. But the prices for hotel excursions are very high.
The service at the hotel is wonderful, the staff is responsive. A solid four for everything

We had to agree to a replacement, because for the May money we would not have gone anywhere. Maya is not bad, but it's not 5*, it doesn't have any stars at all, about 4*. Disadvantages: the Internet is only paid for $ 3. per day, there is no ice cream, the safe is paid, the sauna is free from 16 to 18, there is no snack

A woman like a Russian, don't touch me with a look. The waiters walk around with unhappy faces. We arrived at 7 a.m., we were told to wait for check-in until 14.00, of course I understand that this is the standard for checking into hotels, but tired from the road and in the heat of + 40 to wait 7 hours.... This is the first time I've come across this. As a result, at 11.30 we buy paid wifi from them and miraculously there is a free room. In fact, it's 4 even without a +. The rooms pretend to be cleaned. There is even more dust on the floor after cleaning than before. They replenish only toilet paper. Apparently, in their understanding, cleaning is to fold the bedspread with an accordion, which I made myself. There is practically no animation, water aerobics in the morning and an evening "show" for 15 minutes, amateur activity. There is no disco.
About food.: I'm not picky about food at all, and neither is my husband, but I have French fries for a week… My husband ate 1 time a day, because the same thing no longer fit, the fruits were not ripe. I can't say anything about alcohol, we don't drink, I've tried beer a couple of times, it causes heartburn. their food gave me a stomach ache on day 4. Do you want to spend the night in the toilet? - Welcome to Maya World.
The hotel is located in a remote forest, there is nowhere to go for a walk. To go to the sea through a dried-up coniferous forest, where the tourists themselves threw a pile of garbage, diapers and food waste. The sea is beautiful and clean. The beach was not well maintained, the bar working on the beach resembled a garbage dump, which smelled rotten. How it was possible to eat something there, I don't understand. There is no animation at all on the beach. In general, think 10 times before going there. I'm sorry for the money spent.

You can find something edible by eating delicious food, we buy our own alcohol, it is not possible to drink it. The territory of the hotel is very small, there is no place to walk , the road to the sea is 10-15 minutes on foot , this is not the first line . The rooms are clean, cleaning every day. The staff is polite, they will tell you everything and show you. It is more suitable for relaxing with small children.

The hotel is 5 short, it was two years ago at 4 - both the room and the food are much better.The food is the same every day, and since yesterday, the rooms are cramped.Pools (there are two of them) are normal.There is nowhere to go, buses go to the city quite often.The beach is small, and you may not find a place during rush hour.They are not allowed on the neighboring sunbeds.There was a strong wave at sea throughout the entire holiday, which spoiled the whole mood.

I was vacationing here with my family in mid-September 2019. In general, we were satisfied, the food is varied, some kind of animation and themed evenings are present. The beach is 300 meters away, near the water park, in addition to two slides in the hotel itself. You can take a 15-minute bus ride to Manavgat or Side. It's not bad for my money - if I had the opportunity, I would come back here again. There are also disadvantages, but they are not global and it is better not to bother about them.

At lunch, you can have a snack with hamburgers, French fries, nuggets. There is a toilet, changing rooms, and a shower. However, the booths could have been better. The food in the hotel restaurant is varied, lots of fruits, fish, meat for lunch and dinner. Two outdoor pools, one with two slides, there are children's pools. It's very boring in the evenings, the animation is bad. The nearest *civilization* is a 5-7 minute walk away. There are also markets, an ATM, car and bicycle rentals.

I was on vacation with my friends during the May holidays. I liked everything! The price and quality are consistent, for a solid 4+. Of course, you can always find fault with something.
As for the kitchen, there was enough of everything; vegetables, greens, turkey, chicken, fish, including grilled, every day. I will not list all the menus, it will be a long time.....the only thing was that there was not enough variety of fruits, but it's the beginning of May and it's not critical!
The staff is responsive, friendly, and responded positively to all requests and complaints.
The animators did well, they didn't let you get bored!
The beach is clean.
And the vagaries of nature are beyond the competence of the hotel administration.
