I rented a car for a week in this office, gave a cash deposit of $ 250. At night in the parking lot, someone slightly scratched the car on the side of the rear bumper. I called the police and fixed the damage. The patrol police officers said that the protocol could be ordered at their main office or at the request of an insurance/rental company. When returning the car at the airport, the representative of the Mimino company (Shukri) refused to return the deposit of $ 250, since the scratch certificate was not provided. Although everything else was in order, the car was brought on time, the car was washed and refueled, did not violate traffic regulations and company rules, did not go on prohibited routes.
The representative of Mimino assured that the company will make a request to the patrol police and return the deposit within a couple of days. After the company did not perform any actions, I went to the police and independently ordered a copy of the protocol in my name. There I was informed that the protocol will be done from 10 to 30 days. At the same time, Mimino's company was practically inaccessible by any of the communication methods, they ignored my calls and messages, answered emails every few days. When I arrived at the airport in their office personally and called the police, they said that they could not do anything without the protocol and would return the money as soon as they received it. When the protocol was ready about two weeks later and I sent it to the company, they informed me that after 10 days all insurance cases were closed and the deposit could not be refunded (referring to some point of the rules on their website, which was missing in the printed contract signed by me at the airport when receiving the car).
The police are probably in collusion, because in the criminal police office near the airport they were rude to me and did nothing (at the same time the chief had the number of the director of the company, and they apparently knew each other), they were sent to court.
As a result: they stole $ 250, did not answer calls and messages, were rude, ignored arguments and documents.
I arranged the rent in advance, so everything turned out quickly. A contract had already been prepared for my visit to the office, and a new well-groomed Citroen was waiting for me. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the interior without unnecessary odors and stains. The deposit was returned immediately upon the return of the car, without additional delays.
