Minsk Zoo offers a delightful and enriching experience for visitors of all ages. The zoo is well-maintained, with a diverse array of animals that are both fascinating and educational to observe. One of the standout attractions is the dolphins show, which is nothing short of amazing. The performance is captivating and showcases the intelligence and agility of these incredible creatures, leaving the audience in awe.
The zoo provides ample opportunities for learning and entertainment, making it a perfect outing for families and animal enthusiasts. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to enhance your visit with interesting facts and insights. Overall, Minsk Zoo is a wonderful place to spend a day, combining the beauty of nature with exciting animal encounters.
Minsk Zoo is a spacious and cozy place with many interesting corners. A variety of animal species are represented here, from exotic overseas to our native bears, hares and foxes. Bison and horses leave a special impression.
The highlight was the stunning performance of marine mammals — the sea lion and bottlenose dolphins. We were absolutely delighted, like children! Minsk Zoo is one of the best that we have visited, despite its youth. Good luck to the staff and advice to all guests of Minsk to visit this place! In general, the impressions are excellent with small comments on the cleanliness of the enclosures and the condition of some animals (poultry house, small predators). However, most of the animals are pleasing in their appearance, and it is especially pleasant to see a well-groomed and sociable local cat.
The children really like everything, especially feeding the animals with carrots and potatoes, which are sold at the entrance for 2 rubles. These 2 rubles are definitely worth it. If you bring your own washed carrots, it will also work. There is a toilet. There doesn't seem to be a cafe there or we didn't find it, but for 2-3 hours the zoo is great for visiting with children. The ticket costs 15 bel. rubles even for children. The zoo is always crowded, which indicates its popularity. Banquets and even small weddings are often held. The waiters try to pay attention to all the guests, and the administrators help them cope with the workload.
A great place to walk, the whole family visits the zoo from Novopolotsk every year.Beautifully equipped, well-groomed and friendly animals. It is fashionable to feed from the hands, which is simply incredible for children. In cold weather, you can bask in buildings where fish, birds, and snakes are represented. There is a toilet and a fast food cafe on site.A performance in a dolphinarium always causes a lot of emotions, but a photo with dolphins on "their" camera is of low quality, like Photoshop.Be sure to visit, especially in warm weather there is a lot of entertainment for children there.
A wonderful zoo. It is not super big (which is more of a plus than a minus for walking with small children) there is a dolphinarium inside, we did not go, time did not allow, there is a contact area, we managed to be surprised by black boars, surprisingly friendly, as well as a squirrel that substituted its belly)) to be scratched (admittedly, I was in 3 dozen zoos, but I saw this for the first time). There is a terrarium with VERY active snakes! Again, in my collection of zoos, the snakes lay in a ball and did not move at all, here they show vigorous activity, which is undoubtedly more pleasant) In a large terrarium, a wow effect was waiting for us - turtles resting on a crocodile, and the skin of a faded snake with a "stocking"!!! This is Mega surprising, because in captivity snakes shed "clumps", and only in freedom they shed their skin completely. This suggests that they are just fine here. Also (may people with panic attacks forgive me))) wolves and lionesses have a SINGLE(!!!) grid. When I put my hand on the net, the lioness came up and tried to rub against my hand. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but it is very pleasant to see a good-natured "king of animals" in the zoo. It is unlikely that if the beast feels bad, it will behave like this! The wolves also played like puppies, ran merrily around the enclosure and lay belly up in the dust. That is, looking at how animals behave in captivity, I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all the zookeepers for such an attitude towards animals! In general, everything was very cool!
I really liked the park, convenient Parking,
everything is clean and beautiful inside. The animals are well-groomed and active, despite the fact that they came in the summer in the heat. There's a nice cafe in the middle, just halfway there, halfway there, rested, had a snack, and then go for a walk. There is also a territory with moving dinosaur figures, they did not go there, the children were tired. The overall impressions are very good, we'll repeat them if possible!)))
Great zoo, clean, well maintained. The most juice is a dolphinarium, dolphins are just smart, the sea lion is also well done. There are many different locations with animals, there is something to see, you can't get around everything in one day. The only drawback is that the phones do not respond to booking tickets, there is no direct online ticket sale directly from the zoo on the official website. The children were satisfied and received a photo with dolphins as a keepsake.
I was pleasantly surprised by such a good zoo in Minsk. We've been to a lot of places with children, and there's something to compare it with. The territory is not big, but you don't get too tired. The animals are all so well-groomed, well-fed and somehow "alive", in contact, doing something, showing themselves. It's interesting to stand and watch them, they don't hide or sleep in corners. I don't know if we were so lucky, but we were impressed!!! The area is clean, there are signs everywhere. There is a dolphinarium and a dino park (we didn't go there).
We finally got to the Minsk Zoo. It is small but cozy. Very friendly staff, starting from cashiers and supervisors. The zoo has birds, a small pavilion with poisonous snakes and insects, an aquarium pavilion, and an exatarium. There is a dolphinarium, but we did not visit it. What I like about the Minsk Zoo is that you can get around it in 2 hours, the most important thing when you are passing through the city. And you can catch the train and show something to the child in the city. We were on weekdays - you can safely explore the entire exposition. Of course, it is unethical to compare with the Moscow Zoo, Minsk loses in terms of modernity and arrangement, but the staff care about the park, about the animals, everything is clean and beautiful. We got to feed the animals. In Moskovsky, there are signs on each glass with the feeding time of an animal so that you can come and look at it. There is no such thing here. Employees just walk around with buckets of food and feed the pets. It is very interesting for children to see it. Overall, the impression is pleasant. At the entrance, they sell cups with carrots, which can be treated to the inhabitants of the zoo. They cost 2 rubles and quickly run out, but this is the support of the zoo itself and its inhabitants. It is clear that the animals are calm and comfortable there. All of them have already been born in captivity. And the female arctic fox was brought from the trap. She doesn't have a paw, which is what the sign on the window says, but the zoo veterinarian took her out and now she's fine. Foxes look good, all the animals are clearly taken care of and well cared for by the staff. You can become a sponsor of an animal, take care of a pet.
I really liked this zoo. There are many animals here, as well as many people.
I went to the dolphinarium, where I saw charming dolphins and talented artists demonstrating wonders with these amazing creatures. I especially remember the contest, which cost 25 Belarusian rubles to participate in. I won it and got the opportunity to take a photo with dolphins, which was especially nice.
In this place, you can also see parrots living in a special room, snakes and spiders. This is a wonderful place that I would gladly recommend to everyone.
I would especially like to mention the dinosaur exhibitions, which are represented here in large numbers. Don't miss the opportunity to visit this zoo, it's worth it! 🎉
A good atmospheric place, time flew by quickly. There are a large number of animals and a large territory. For me, there were not enough pointers so that nothing would be missed, it is clear that everyone chooses where to go and after 2 hours with children (who will just get tired) you'll be walking already, just by looking at the moment... There are cafes and children's attractions on site, a dolphinarium and a dinosaur park are paid separately, there is a sale of souvenirs about this place. There are no problems with parking, even though there were weekends. It is better to visit the council in the summer, after all, animals at 4 degrees in November are not very active, and some did not go out at all. Dino Park is such a small child was afraid of dinosaurs, after all, many layouts make sounds and make movements, and the older ones were not impressed with only a couple of expositions they liked, it is clear that a lot of work has been invested, but some dinosaurs are already damaged from time to time and slightly spoiled, but you can take a look)
There are many things in one territory:zoo, terrarium, exotarium, dolphinarium! The performance at the dolphinarium is just great! The child really liked it! I also liked the fact that animals and snakes are active. I liked the predators, especially the lion! In the Dinopark, dinosaur figures are mobile and make sounds.
We visited at the end of March, and now I want to come here in the summer, when everything will be in full bloom!
A very nice place to stay with children. The zoo has extensive aviaries, many animals and birds, reptiles, and even fish. A zoo has been created at the European level, it is not at all inferior to the famous zoos in Europe. However, it's still cold outside - there are many heat-loving animals hiding inside heated rooms.
Attended by 2 adults with a 1.8 year old child. It was interesting for everyone. The animals are well-groomed, fed, fruits are lying in cages, it is clear that they do not freeze, but THEIR EYES are sad from being imprisoned in a cage. I wish they had bigger enclosures, this applies to monkeys with a baby, arctic foxes, lynxes, raccoons. A very strong smell of urine, probably they didn't figure out how to deal with it(
The child liked it, the impressions were good, they expand the territory, you can take animals under your care and give deductions for their care. You can also bring seasonal vegetables and fruits, the zoo writes ads and gives them to employees on a pass as a gift for zoo residents. There is parking nearby, a cafe inside, a dolphinarium.
The territory is very clean, all the animals are well-groomed, you can feed the animals with special food. New animal pavilions are being built on the territory, and the zoo is expanding. There is a Dino Park, a Terrarium and a Dolphinarium on site, which makes it possible to have a great day with your family.
The staff caring for the animals, bow low to you and respect you! Polite and helpful staff. The girls working in the cafe are polite and caring. The terrarium is in a deplorable state and the tiger is very sorry, walked from corner to corner, did not even touch the meat and made plaintive noises. Another advantage is the large territory, a variety of animals and birds. I recommend you to visit.
It's a great place! My family and I had a great time there. The territory is large, clean, and the animals are well-groomed. I especially liked birds and cats. The only thing is, sometimes there aren't enough benches to sit on. But in general, I liked everything, the atmosphere is pleasant. I advise you to visit
It's a nice zoo. The animals are well-fed and well-groomed. Everyone can be clearly seen. I really liked the new pavilion with animals from America, as well as the pavilion-exotarium. Interesting. It's also a very cute petting zoo. The staff is friendly. There is a dolphinarium on the territory of the zoo.
Great zoo! The lion roared to the delight of the children. Lots of birds. Beautiful terrarium and aquariums. The children really liked it. You can buy cheap pet food at the entrance. We enjoyed spending 2 hours.
A spacious zoo With huge ponds, large open areas of ungulates and a magnificent dolphinarium. The diverse forms of the animal world of the planet are presented. From rare overseas species to our native bears, hares and foxes! The bison, the horses, are just beautiful! And the most striking impression is the stunning performance of marine mammals - sea lion and bottlenose dolphins. We were absolutely delighted, like children. Minsk Zoo is one of the best we have visited. But this zoo is very young! Good luck to the zoo staff and advice to the guests of Minsk to visit it!
Lots of animals!
The zoo is very clean.
Everything is well organized, the staff is responsive, we liked it!
In my opinion, there are not enough closed cafes with a lunch menu. We could have walked longer, but we were hungry)))
An amazing zoo! We walked as a family for more than three hours. We went to the dino park, but the children did not like it as much as in the Zoo. Now there are very happy memories of the trip. It is a pity that the Dolphinarium did not work on Monday, it was not possible to get there.
Addition separately for citizens of the Russian Federation: if there is a disability, then it is valid here (free passage for a disabled person and an accompanying person). I recommend you to visit!!!
On Shrovetide, my husband and two 11 and 13-year-old children went to the Zoo. Everyone was delighted (both adults and children) with entertainment events, contests, went around all the animals, visited the terrarium, etc. I liked the organization. The only thing is that you didn't have enough information advertising about this event on social networks, radio and other platforms.
It's a wonderful zoo, it's not very big, but it's cozy and interesting. Plus the dolphinarium is just a delight! Go on Wednesdays with the kids, you won't regret it! We spent almost 5 hours at the zoo and everyone was very satisfied!
The territory is not very large, but there are a lot of aviaries and animals. I am glad that they are almost constantly in sight and you can feed them, they sell sweets at the entrance. I liked the representatives of felines: leopard, lynx, as well as bison and various horses, handsome deer and llamas with alpacas.
Parking is not very large, but it is free. There are cafes and a toilet on site. I highly recommend visiting the dolphinarium!
Clean, spacious, not tiring. Cages with predators are well made-they can be seen from any point. The white tiger is simply magnificent! The pavilion with exotics is originally decorated. Without leaving the zoo, you can visit the dolphinarium, and going a little further, you will find yourself in the dinosaur park (growling, moving). Great idea! It's original! It's worth a visit! And the meeting with dinosaurs will be remembered by both children and adults!
There are many different animals and birds. The terrarium. Serpentarium. I really liked the dolphinarium. It is located on the territory of the zoo. Great performance. In addition to dolphins, a sea lion participates in the performance.
A wonderful zoo! I felt "at home" there, very cozy. What completely conquered is that all the animals can be seen, they do not hide at all, and they are very close. And how great it is to watch the cats from the upper gallery! Just a delight!
I really liked the wooden bridges along the shore, from where it is great to watch birds - and just have fun.
And the fact that there were very few visitors on a weekday afternoon is certainly a special bonus (I often visit the Moscow Zoo, where crowds of people are a common occurrence).
Minsk Zoo is a great choice for family holidays! A large number of animals, interesting exhibitions. The only thing to keep in mind is that the animals are less active after lunch. In general, I recommend it!
A wonderful zoo! We are tourists from Moscow and our city zoo simply cannot be compared with Minsk.
The zoo is clean, does not smell of animals, respectively - they are often well cleaned.
In the small territory of the zoo there are almost all possible animals that can be in the zoo, except that there were no elephants and giraffes.
The animals are well-groomed, not thin, but I would like all animals to have water in the enclosures in the heat of + 33, this is not even discussed.
It is more profitable to take a shared ticket with the dolphinarium, for ~ 1000 Russian rubles we visited in 4 hours - everything that is in the zoo.
Another small wish is to place an air conditioner in the dolphinarium, the dome gets very hot and the open windows can't cope.
This is a very wonderful place! I was surprised, but the Minsk Zoo surpassed the Moscow one) I was there twice with a short interval, I will tell you about each visit. I should immediately note that the first hike was on May 26 after lunch at about 14:00 (Sunday), the second on June 21 at 11:00 (Friday). I can say that we managed to see more animals for the second time. Among them: foxes (white and red), a wolf, raccoons, a monkey with a cub, beautiful pink birds similar to flamingos, a lemur!! The first time these animals could not be found, they most likely hid in houses. I can relate this to two reasons: 1) it got hotter closer to lunch, it was more comfortable for the animals to hide in the shade, 2) the animals were already fed by visitors)) I was also pleased that on my second visit, the zebra walked right next to the fence and allowed itself to be seen and fed by hand. But, for example, I did not see a tiger on the second day, unlike on the first day))) summarizing all this, I can say that the behavior of animals and their desire to communicate with visitors is difficult to predict (although the bears willingly entertained us both that and the second time). Nevertheless, I recommend that you focus on visiting in the morning and probably on a weekday. All the animals are neat and well-groomed, especially the bears and bison! The bison stood at the fence on both the first and second days, they could be fed directly from the hand, it's incredible 😱😱 I was lucky enough to see baby zubrik, who did not leave his mother at all on the first day, and a month later on my second visit he already walked on his own and even came close to the fence) the dolphinarium is also ready to visit I can recommend it, the performance itself is short-lived, but interesting) by the way, at the entrance to the zoo they sell animal food in cups (2p), and there is a mini cafe for visitors throughout the territory. I recommend taking at least 3 hours to visit for sure!! I am glad that I visited here, a great vacation, thank you!
I have visited this zoo many times, I have known this zoo since the time when it was built, it was still when it was maintained by MAZ, and MAZ opened it at that time, of course, what is now and what was in the beginning is the Earth and Sky, now it is a modern well-groomed animal world and it continues to be built, and new species are arriving animals from all over the World, I think that someday real Panda cubs will live in this zoo, and it will already be considered world-class, but now everything is just fine and healthy, very beautiful, children and adults love animals, and many thanks to all the zoo staff, thanks to their work and care, the zoo is thriving and getting prettier, I recommend it to everyone who hasn't visited yet!
The zoo has been well renovated, I recommend you to visit, it is very beautiful, there are many valliers, everything is neat and clean. Be sure to visit the dolphinarium separately, the show is very spectacular
It's not a big zoo, but it's worth a visit. There are no elephants or giraffes, but there are many other animals. There is also a park with dinosaur figurines. And the dolphinarium. Unlike Moscow, it is not big, but this is a plus! Everything happens right in front of your eyes at a distance of 5-7 meters. In general, a lot of positive emotions are provided for both you and your children! There is one disadvantage! There is only one toilet in the zoo! And it's shared! After the session at the dolphinarium, there is not a crowd!
Like it. The animals are well-groomed, not sick, beautiful. It was interesting, informative and fun for the children. There are attractions, a shooting range, a laughter room and a playground for children on site. There is a cafe where you can buy snacks, drink coffee/ tea. At the entrance you can buy treats for animals, in the terrarium you can buy souvenirs ( toys) for children: spiders, snakes, etc
. A huge, beautiful exotarium.
Beautiful, cute and ozone monkeys.
Loud parrots, big fish and crocodiles will definitely appeal to children!
P.s - only it didn't work out to stay near the fox enclosure for a long time - the smell is "impressive" :) but I don't think it's the zoo's business.
Great experience, clean, lots of animals. There's someone to look at.The child liked it, it was possible to buy a cup of vegetables at the entrance and feed the animals.I really enjoyed the dolphin show. They're so cute, there was a prize draw, and I liked everything.
Great zoo! It's clean, it doesn't smell, there are a lot of animals, everything is well-groomed, the cages are close to the visitors, so everyone can be considered. Thank you very much!! We definitely recommend you to visit and we will definitely come back!!!
Not a bad place to visit with children.
A pond has been made for the recreation of migrating birds, as in Moscow.
We were pleased with the bison and the exotarium, where you can walk along the bridge over the carp and look at some of the birds without cages.
The zoo is not bad, but it is much inferior to Moscow, Berlin or Prague.
If you are a local resident, then at least once every two or three years it is worth going to it, and if you are a tourist, then you can skip it. Although I personally walked with the children there for 4 hours and everyone was satisfied.
A good zoo, everything is clean and tidy. The animals are well-groomed and well-fed)) cool idea with sponsorship. It is written on the enclosures who each animal's sponsor is, which person or company.
There is something to compare it with, but the Minsk Zoo has conquered me and my family. Everything is thoughtful, exciting, amazing, and the dolphinarium is, of course and undoubtedly, the TOP!!! Great time, convenient and large parking. I definitely recommend it. If only there were an interactive zoo like in the forest tayamnitsa in Baranovichi where you can feed, pet deer, ostriches and the rest of our smaller brothers, it would be generally SUPER. But even so, my personal rating is 10 out of 10.
For the sake of interest, I decided to visit the Minsk Zoo.I was surprised by the number of pets. I didn't expect this. The animals seem to be well-groomed. I didn't like one moment. There are soft toys in some enclosures. It doesn't look presentable at all. It's like a dumpster. Well, our people, of course, are a separate topic. They feed the animals with bread, etc.Although it says "Do not feed animals" everywhere. Buy a carrot, an apple. They stuff you with bread. As it is, the zoo left a good impression.
The impression is amazing! I write as an adult with a three-year-old child. Everyone was happy. Both mom and dad and son. Firstly, a large area. Surrounded by greenery and ponds. Well-groomed. There is no crowding and dust. There are urns and benches everywhere, I will note flowers separately. Beauty. Flower beds are not forgettable. That is, it is certainly pleasant to be on the territory.
You need to take a lot of time to visit, because there is also a dolphinarium and a park with dinosaurs.
We were delighted with both dolphins and dinosaurs. I especially liked dino, of course. It feels like they live literally, each in their own zone. It's a great idea to place them right in the greenery. You walk and come across a huge screaming and moving monster. We all liked them very much. There were few people. This is after the dolphin show, that is, after 7 p.m. They are very cute. The park itself and the reservoirs are all advantages!!!!! Animals should feel comfortable that there is water nearby.
Plus, there are toilets everywhere, free of charge, and there are no queues. Clean and decent. Well, it's very beautiful.
The zoo itself is also above all praise!!!!
I definitely recommend you to visit. The pavilions are unusual. You can climb up and look at the animals from above, feed them.
There are souvenirs in the pavilion with exotic animals.
We can have a snack. The cafe also has something to feed the baby. And there is even a room for a mother and child in the toilet.
It is better to come a couple of hours before the dolphin show, even after 3 o'clock. That is, by 15. To take your time to inspect the animals, then the dolphinarium and dino in the evening. And not every kid is capable of such an excess of impressions.
In general, everything is great.
Thanks to the zoo staff and of course the animals. We are very satisfied. We spent a day of happiness.
I really liked the zoo, it's big, there are a lot of animals. The cages are clean, everyone is fed, well-fed, the animals look healthy and cheerful. Bison, a lion with a lioness, a tiger, and bears struck with their beauty. Funny horses begged for sweets. You can't list them all! And an interesting Dino Park, the four of us adults were happy to look at the impressive exhibits! I recommend you to visit.
It is very beautiful, cozy, interesting solutions with bridges to look at animals from above. It was great to combine the opportunity to feed animals, but to make a petting zoo
It's not a bad zoo. Of the animals, the llamas were the most liked) The exotarium is also not bad, although there are always screaming parrots. The aquarium and terrarium are generally good, but there is not enough space inside, when the crowd comes in, it is not very convenient to walk and look at the animals.
