It's a great market. Prices are cheaper than on Chorsa. I bought a good apricot for 45,000 som. Fresh meat, vegetables, herbs, dried fruits. There are few things. There is a good pavilion with household chemicals from America and Germany. There's even a vintage store. I was pleased with the fountain with water in the middle of the market. I bought it, washed it, and ate it. Very clean!!
There is a terrible smell on the Chorsu in the rows with meat…

It's a really cool place. There are always fresh fruits, vegetables, lots of homemade things, meat, spices — it makes your eyes run away. The atmosphere is so real, oriental, the people are kind, you can bargain. Prices are normal if you know where to look. Sometimes it can be noisy and crowded, but that's the whole thrill. My favorite market of all. Not as noisy and dirty as Chorsu, not as expensive as Alai. Small, compact. In the very center. Everything is there. A wonderful butcher shop.
