I recently bought a Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE 8Gb/128Gb phone in the showroom at 24 Kalvariyskaya str., Minsk. Earlier I read reviews about the phone, buyers often complained about a problem with the proximity sensor. Before buying, I asked the consultant (or the seller) if the problem with the proximity sensor was a warranty case, whether it would be possible to exchange or return, and received a positive response. Previously, I asked a similar question at the MTS showroom at Minsk, Lobanka str., 14. They also assured that this was a warranty case and could be replaced. Being sure that my phone would be changed in case of problems, I bought this phone and very soon I ran into a sensor problem. I applied to the salon at Lobanka 14, the phone was accepted and sent for examination. A week later, they called back and invited me to pick up the phone. The examination did not detect a malfunction (it is unclear why). The MTS salon offered to contact them directly (Kulman str., 1, building 3, Kenfordbel LLC, masterpin.by ). I went to this address, explained the situation, they said that this was such a feature of these phone models and that they could not help in any way, there was no breakdown. As a result, I am left with a phone whose proximity sensor does not work well, i.e. during a conversation, the screen often lights up, while pressing various buttons with my face, which may cause the conversation to be interrupted. It turns out that the case is not guaranteed, I was told otherwise.
As a result, I was deceived twice: I think they did not check well enough at the service center, because almost every time the screen is often activated (I was told that there were no such situations during testing, so that's how they test), and they were also deceived in two MTS salons when they said that the case was guaranteed and there will be no problems with the refund.
