My favorite museum in Minsk, we go there every time. Not very big, but the atmosphere is unique. There is also a small amount of military equipment, a lot of weapons, themed halls. Perhaps the most impressive museum of the Second World War. Separation by halls, a huge number of sound and video screens. There is an audio guide. It was interesting for us to listen to him. It takes at least three hours to visit. You can book an individual tour. But there is a lot of information on the exhibits themselves. And of course, you need to prepare for visiting such a place. Then the visit will leave a very vivid impression and memory.

The museum itself is beautiful and impressive, but the politeness and communication of the cashiers really spoiled the impression. With the scandal, the student ID was not sold, although the student ID itself was provided. The cashier was not aware that the university makes student tickets in the form of a card. And on the card itself, I wrote the expiration date of the CARD in order to pay with it. And not the validity period of the student's certificate. In response to her comments, the student's open personal account was also provided, where all information about the student is displayed. Nevertheless, she was not convinced. Boorish remarks, accusations of deception and rolled eyes were received, although all documents were provided. Of course, the price is small, but the very principle of treating people was very unpleasantly surprised

Surprised me! I advise everyone. Very interesting. I've been to many WWII museums, but this one stands out for its grandeur. It's naturalistic. The partisan way of life is widely shown. School, infirmary, dugouts, kitchen! There are four halls in the whole museum. Navigation is designed so that you don't miss anything by following the arrows. You can take a guided tour. We didn't take it. We went through everything calmly in 1.5 hours, but we didn't stick to something for a long time)). At the exit there is a souvenir shop where you can buy souvenirs with military-patriotic themes (flasks, medals, hats ...). Near the park with waterfalls, fountains and cafes. The museum itself is within walking distance from the metro. I advise you to visit if you need to take time before leaving, for example. As it happened with us).

An incredible place that everyone should visit!
The cost of the visit is adequate, I would say even pleasant.
We came without preparation, the guides were already busy, but it turned out that there was an audio guide.
Choosing an ordinary guide, there is an excursion for an hour and two. If you choose an audio guide, then you go at your own pace.
My husband and I studied the museum for 5 hours, the expositions are so realistic that it gives me goosebumps.
It's nice that the events are covered as facts, without evaluation, omission, exaggeration or understatement.
In general, after visiting the museum for another week, I enthusiastically told everyone about the place, my emotions: goosebumps and delight.
Special impressions were made by the paintings of the artist Mikhail Savitsky. The color palette is not transmitted in any Internet source. Unfortunately, it is impossible to take pictures. But you don't need to see it online.
The final hall, of course, is a delight! You experience such a range of feelings and pride for everyone involved in the Victory! Rethinking the values and the moment here and now.
I recommend it to everyone. I don't tell you much in detail to make it interesting.

We were not allowed to go to the second round even if there was time ...) for the sake of checking the norms. But there was something else to check out

I have been to many museums dedicated to the Second World War, but this one impressed me especially much, here the theme of those years is revealed with such depth that you immerse yourself morally in this state and, what I also really liked, the last Victory hall, bright, spacious, very beautiful, makes you leave the museum in a good mood. There is a soldier's porridge in the cafe. They are quickly disassembled. Wardrobe is available. Toilets are normal. There is a souvenir shop.

There are souvenirs and they are not expensive. But... There is a female employee in every room, she is a "spy" so that someone does not steal something somewhere. There are countless thematic stands, people watch and do not even imagine that behind each exhibit is the fate of a person, and sometimes his life, many lives. But if an employee would approach people, tell them, and not just be an overseer, it would not hurt, and it is expensive to book an excursion for two or three people. Otherwise, well done.
