My favorite museum in Minsk, we go there every time. Not very big, but the atmosphere is unique. There is also a small amount of military equipment, a lot of weapons, themed halls. The daughter was impressed by the hall in which the work of military doctors was presented. It is interesting for both children and adults
It's a great place! The exposition is beyond praise! Be sure to take a tour, bring the children! It is immediately clear that caring people work here, for whom the war is not something remote that does not affect them personally. Thanks to them.
The memory of the ancestors , the sadness of the people , all in one place . Very interesting exhibits, the story told there, will be remembered by you for the rest of your life!
Perhaps the most impressive museum of the Second World War. Separation by halls, a huge number of sound and video screens. There is an audio guide. It was interesting for us to listen to him. It takes at least three hours to visit. You can book an individual tour. But there is a lot of information on the exhibits themselves. And of course, you need to prepare for visiting such a place. Then the visit will leave a very vivid impression and memory.
A wonderful museum. We were very impressed. There are a lot of halls, all the inlays are made incredibly precisely and in detail. If we visit Minsk again, we will also take an audio guide. I'm glad you visited.
If you are in Minsk, be sure to visit this museum. And it is better to take a tour, so it is clearer and you will learn more information. It's a must-see.
A very cool and modern WWII museum.
It is obligatory for guests and residents of Minsk to visit.
Large, colorfully decorated expositions dedicated to different periods of the war and Minsk in particular.
It should be noted the competent work of the guides and the entire staff in general, for this special thanks!
Nowadays, when fascism is rearing its head again, for young people, it is necessary to understand the value of historical truth and this museum helps a lot.
The museum itself is beautiful and impressive, but the politeness and communication of the cashiers really spoiled the impression. With the scandal, the student ID was not sold, although the student ID itself was provided. The cashier was not aware that the university makes student tickets in the form of a card. And on the card itself, I wrote the expiration date of the CARD in order to pay with it. And not the validity period of the student's certificate. In response to her comments, the student's open personal account was also provided, where all information about the student is displayed. Nevertheless, she was not convinced. Boorish remarks, accusations of deception and rolled eyes were received, although all documents were provided. Of course, the price is small, but the very principle of treating people was very unpleasantly surprised
It is very necessary for everyone to go, especially with children, and tell and show how everything was really and instructive. So that there would never be a bad thought about who won the Great Patriotic War!!!

Surprised me! I advise everyone. Very interesting. I've been to many WWII museums, but this one stands out for its grandeur. It's naturalistic. The partisan way of life is widely shown. School, infirmary, dugouts, kitchen! There are four halls in the whole museum. Navigation is designed so that you don't miss anything by following the arrows. You can take a guided tour. We didn't take it. We went through everything calmly in 1.5 hours, but we didn't stick to something for a long time)). At the exit there is a souvenir shop where you can buy souvenirs with military-patriotic themes (flasks, medals, hats ...). Near the park with waterfalls, fountains and cafes. The museum itself is within walking distance from the metro. I advise you to visit if you need to take time before leaving, for example. As it happened with us).
A magnificent museum with an excellent exposition and trained guides! both adults and children liked it!
I consider such museums a must-visit! Moreover, the cities of Belarus were the most destroyed...... there were the most powerful Partisan detachments....
A great story ......
for future generations
An excellent museum of the Great Patriotic War is almost in the center of Minsk.
Interactive exposition, real models of weapons, tanks, airplanes, etc
. On May 9, the visit is free!
A must-visit! We were lucky, we got into the tour group and were told and shown everything in detail. The museum is huge and it is very difficult to figure it out on your own. But we were impressed. After viewing, we went to the buffet at the museum - where there are very tasty pastries, cakes and pancakes with meat
A great interactive museum! A large number of exhibits, a lot of real restored equipment. The museum is imbued with the spirits of war.
We ordered a tour - a very good guide.
serdg163 cons- the audio guide changed sound problems three times, prices in cafes are not too high for Belarus, restaurant prices for food in plastic containers without production dates with plastic devices.
The museum was very impressive. I advise you to visit. There are so many destinies, lives, and people who forged victory... Glory and eternal memory to the heroes. Belarusian brothers! You were the first to stand up for the Motherland. I am immensely grateful to you and bow low to the ground.
The main museum of the country on this subject. Gorgeous exhibits, live dioramas and a full immersion effect.
Neither young nor old will remain without an impression.
An ideal place for a family visit.
A very cool museum! It will be interesting for both adults and children👍a lot of exhibits and installations! The wartime atmosphere is perfectly conveyed! I recommend you to visit!
The exhibition is impressive, each room has its own atmosphere, a lot of information can be read. The guides are at the highest level, they tell interesting stories, not monotonously, interact with tourists. In general, come and get an unforgettable experience, learn a lot of new things
It is majestic, monumental and very impressive. I liked the exposition. The exhibits are all originals and in large numbers. A huge amount of information causes a storm of emotions. We strongly recommend you to visit.
An amazing exhibition, definitely worth a visit. Ideally, with a guide. Appliances, household items, compositions.. Thank you, brothers, for such a reverent and respectful attitude towards our common history
If you are in Minsk, this is a mandatory point of visit! And definitely with a guided tour! Very well done and thought out! And most importantly, the museum focuses not on technology and schemes, but on people! To make it clear how our grandfathers and great-grandfathers remained human, lived, taught children and how they brought victory closer day by day! Be sure to visit with children! So that you know what the victory was worth! And what a price our ancestors paid for the fact that we are now free people!
An incredible place that everyone should visit!
The cost of the visit is adequate, I would say even pleasant.
We came without preparation, the guides were already busy, but it turned out that there was an audio guide.
Choosing an ordinary guide, there is an excursion for an hour and two. If you choose an audio guide, then you go at your own pace.
My husband and I studied the museum for 5 hours, the expositions are so realistic that it gives me goosebumps.
It's nice that the events are covered as facts, without evaluation, omission, exaggeration or understatement.
In general, after visiting the museum for another week, I enthusiastically told everyone about the place, my emotions: goosebumps and delight.
Special impressions were made by the paintings of the artist Mikhail Savitsky. The color palette is not transmitted in any Internet source. Unfortunately, it is impossible to take pictures. But you don't need to see it online.
The final hall, of course, is a delight! You experience such a range of feelings and pride for everyone involved in the Victory! Rethinking the values and the moment here and now.
I recommend it to everyone. I don't tell you much in detail to make it interesting.
The museum is excellent and the staff is well chosen. Walking with a guide through different locations, you can 100% feel the history of our country in such difficult times
A huge and interesting museum. The staff are both friendly and bored with life)) If you're lucky.. . It's a pity there wasn't enough time and just the same human attitude to fully appreciate the entire exposition (we galloped through Europe at closing time... We were not allowed to go to the second round even if there was time ...) for the sake of checking the norms. But there was something else to check out
The museum is very impressive, 8 halls. I recommend using the services of a guide, you will not regret it. There are both military equipment and military weapons, installations. After visiting some of the halls, you keep thinking how people were able to survive and most importantly win such a terrible war. It is mandatory for everyone to visit.
I have been to many museums dedicated to the Second World War, but this one impressed me especially much, here the theme of those years is revealed with such depth that you immerse yourself morally in this state and, what I also really liked, the last Victory hall, bright, spacious, very beautiful, makes you leave the museum in a good mood. The expositions and everything that is presented in the museum are powerful, detailed, realistic, ... caused a lot of emotions, I definitely recommend you to visit!!!
It's just an amazing museum with several floors. I was thrilled. Unfortunately, the day we arrived there was a holiday and we couldn't take the audio guide, I think it would be even more interesting with it.
An incredible place!! Museums like this are needed in every city so that no one forgets what people went through and who the Nazis were!! THANKS to the museum staff and the administration for
the excellent condition of the museum!
It's a very interesting place. It can be liked by both adults and children. Take at least an audio guide, but it's better if you get in with a group. There are such guides, they take you by the soul.
There is a soldier's porridge in the cafe. They are quickly disassembled. Wardrobe is available. Toilets are normal. There is a souvenir shop.
It's a good museum. The history of the Great Patriotic War in the territory of the Republic of Belarus is described in a very informative, detailed, and most importantly understandable way. We really liked it, the expositions are voluminous, large, everything is logical! I advise you to visit necessarily!
a very decent place, everything is done with taste. high-quality, beautifully interesting. There are a lot of weapons. different times. undoubtedly, I advise you to go and make sure to take the children with you.
The museum is good, there are not many of them, if not a few. The red banner proudly unfurls on the dome. There are a lot of exhibits. The entrance price is acceptable. There are souvenirs and they are not expensive. But... There is a female employee in every room, she is a "spy" so that someone does not steal something somewhere. There are countless thematic stands, people watch and do not even imagine that behind each exhibit is the fate of a person, and sometimes his life, many lives. But if an employee would approach people, tell them, and not just be an overseer, it would not hurt, and it is expensive to book an excursion for two or three people. Otherwise, well done.
Only positive emotions remained from visiting this museum, large expositions of a lot of military equipment, polite staff, took a guide turned out to be a very competent and knowledgeable girl, well done, it was very interesting, I recommend
An excellent museum, the expositions are made of high quality, it definitely takes your breath away when you start reading notes from the military in some halls, I recommend you to visit
