It's a great museum, we need more of these. There is parking. The exposition is interesting. The exhibits are signed in three languages. We'll come back here.
Today we visited the museum as a group and were very impressed! The tour guide Maria had such a wonderful tour!! Children and adults listened intently. The museum's exhibitions are amazing! Maria presented the information so well. Everyone came out impressed! Well done! Super!
I would recommend everyone to visit, with an excursion.
We were very impressed - the scale, the detail, the guide - everything is fine.
After the museum, there is a walk in the park, which deserves special praise.
We were in Belarus for a week, we liked everything very much. It was clean, beautiful, and the weather was pleasant. If possible, I recommend everyone to spend time there.
The museum leaves a great impression. It is very easy to plunge into those times and feel the atmosphere that was there at that time. The museum is magnificent
The museum is magnificent! It was very interesting. The extreme dome hall is very beautiful, majestic, and bright! There were a lot of children on excursions. I recommend you to visit, it will be very interesting for both children and adults.
An amazing museum! Grandiose to the point of tears. Definitely the place to visit, and definitely for young people to better understand the history of the country.
Remembering your history and culture is the most important aspect of self-identification of any ethnic group. The history of the Great Patriotic War is a living reminder of the feat of the Slavic peoples. Visit the museum and bring your children. We must remember.
High-quality, atmospheric and historically correct content. For obvious reasons, there is a bias towards the Belarusian part of the history of the Great Patriotic War, but it was also pleasantly surprised by the presence of expositions dedicated to other sections of the front (for example, about Stalingrad). A must-visit!
Excellent WWII museum and guides. Starting from the Brest fortress to the Victory Hall. It is necessary to take children and grandchildren there so that they remember!!!
I really liked it, the museum is just awesome!
Dioramas, interactive expositions-what not!The tour is very interesting, you can take an audio guide. The prices are reasonable, about 300-350₽ (11 Belarusian)
One of the largest museums dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. A huge number of exhibits tell about the pre-war period, the difficult and terrible war and the bright joy of Victory. At the very beginning of the exhibition, it is worth paying attention to the reasons for the outbreak of war. In the process of getting acquainted with the exhibits and information, the reasons for the fascists' hatred of the Soviet people are revealed. And it becomes clear why our Victory over evil was inevitable.
Very atmospheric! The museum itself is huge, there are many rare things of the Second World War. Bright expositions clearly show the life of the partisans. Recommend 👍
An excellent, modern museum. A large multi-storey exhibition. There are equipment, documents, and a chronicle. It will appeal to those who just like to watch and those who like to study everything carefully. We stayed there for a couple of hours - we weren't even tired.
Very cool! The scale is fascinating. A huge number of exhibits. The story comes to life, the feelings are overwhelming. This place needs to be seen, words cannot convey it.
An interesting and incredibly huge amount of work has been done in the creation of this museum. It is clear that those people who were engaged in recreating the moments of battles and historical events were completely absorbed in this matter. They gave themselves completely so that their descendants would remember those terrible and tragic events! Take the tour right away, you definitely won't regret it!
A very interesting exposition. There are a lot of interesting and informative things. There is information and exhibits not only related to the war of 1941-1945, but also to modern military operations. There are a lot of impressions, a lot of new information. I advise you, it's worth a visit, you won't regret it.
The grandest museum! The exposition is large-scale, detailed, artistically significant, with interactive features, with a lot of real things dear to the hearts of the heroes' relatives. The same style. Wonderful staff. We did not take a tour, we moved independently from hall to hall, so it turns out that the caretaker of the hall was watching us with one eye (probably) and when we got a little lost in the further direction, she came up and directed us. I repeat, a grandiose museum, the most sincere impressions of what I saw! The Belarusian people took a lot on their shoulders and stood up!
This is our favorite museum. The exposition is very beautiful. All the moments of the war are covered, everything is realistic. The technique is impressive.
We recommend you to visit. We did not take a tour and did not regret it, we visited the museum for 2.5 hours. Excursions are conducted at a fairly fast pace, you will have to return to view the exposition again. There are many interesting exhibits, paintings, diaramas.
Just WOW!!! I was very impressed..... The tour was great. It is interesting and clear that everything has been decided now every time we come to Minsk, we will visit different excursions and of course we will book the Quest in advance
We decided to start exploring Minsk with this museum, because there is no more important page in our history.
The exposition is very diverse, the exhibits clearly show how much our people paid for the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The majestic building, located in a picturesque place of the city, attracts a lot of attention. I will definitely come back again.
An amazing exhibition. There are a lot of artifacts from the Great Patriotic War, various expositions of Soviet and German equipment, as well as various weapons.
It must be seen! A stunning museum, thought out to the smallest detail, impresses everyone, the central attraction of Minsk. I recommend everyone to visit, you will not remain indifferent. Not a single photo will convey the feelings that you will experience after seeing all the expositions in person.
A sensitive attitude to small things is very important for understanding the whole tragedy of the heroism of the Soviet people, for example, each individual. Very impressive.
It is a very atmospheric and informative place. The expositions are close to real battles. Khatyn and the gallery of paintings of prisoners, a place of mourning. I recommend you to visit, this is still the best WWII museum that I have visited.
A wonderful museum. Interesting historical expositions, good design and important information. Everything you need to know about the past war, about the tragedy of our people and country. There are heavy exhibits from the death camps, but we must remember this so that it does not happen again.
A wonderful museum )
Very big and beautiful )
It's like plunging into the past and feeling everything that they went through in the Second World War
If you are going to Minsk, then be sure to visit it
Located in the center, convenient to reach, there are many other attractions nearby. The museum itself is interesting and large-scale. It is better with a guided tour and not on Wednesday, since Wednesday is a school day at the museum.
Excellent museum, extensive exposition. There are equipment and weapons, a lot of visual information, diaramas, maps, layouts, uniforms. Required to visit. You can book a guided tour
The museum was very impressed with its scale and artifacts. Definitely worth a visit for both adults and children, tickets are cheap, you can climb the whole day 3 hours were not enough
Many thanks to the wonderful guide Timofey. Informative, clear, with participation and respect for the emotions of each listener of the group of teenagers. Our BRAVO and best wishes. GUO "Gymnasium 5 named after V.S.Korotkevich, Grodno".
Very impressive. The museum staff are literate and cultured! All questions are answered during the tour! Thank you for the information and the work! Good health and a peaceful sky!!!!
Very majestic!!! A well-made and very interesting museum! Getting into the museum, one is completely immersed in the atmosphere of those terrible and difficult years.... Belarus was occupied until 1944 and a lot of suffering fell to its lot, and the guide tells and shows about it very competently and accessible to visitors of any age - from young to old. While we were walking through the halls of war, of course, everything was dark, heavy and scary, just like those years, but here we went up under the dome and there the Victory Hall is all shiny, shining, pleasing to the eye - and most importantly - the peaceful, clear, blue sky above! The emotions are indescribable! Be sure to visit the museum, be sure to take the children there - we must remember our history and the price that the Soviet Union and Belarus in particular paid for the Victory!
Very positive impressions of the museum, a lot of exhibits, pleasant staff, everything is thought out to the smallest detail, behind the museum there is a beautiful park with a fountain and a lake. I definitely recommend it
An excellent museum that harmoniously combines modern trends and a classic approach. Without a fanatical focus on multimedia and interactive, but also without naphthalene. There is an opportunity to dive into separate sections, take a break, and stop somewhere and think. It is clear that they invested in the museum, but not thoughtlessly and with pomp, but wisely used the opportunities. I wish the museum development and prosperity. Thank you for the memory and thank you that not everyone finds the sad experience of our common neighbors attractive.
I really liked the museum! There is both interactive and technical equipment (there are originals and life-size models), many documentary exhibits, and, for example, a whole hall with dugouts for various purposes is dedicated to the theme of the partisan movement! The amazing Hall of fame is bright and solemn! I highly recommend taking a tour - for this you need to go to the tour desk, and if there is a free guide, everything will be organized quickly! The cost of such an excursion is at least 30 bel.rub., but if there are more people (there were three of us at first), then the cost per person becomes 7 bel.rub. The tour lasts an hour, during this time you will be briefly told about the history of the Second World War, after which you can walk around the museum for unlimited time. The museum building looks very interesting and modern, although it was opened during the war, in 1944. It is noteworthy that the main dome repeats the dome of the Reichstag, over which the Victory banner is flying.
I really liked the museum! It is large-scale, with various zones covering the events of the war and its participants. Interesting expositions dedicated to the partisan movement, concentration camp prisoners, and war children. I was very impressed by the cycle of paintings by the artist Savitsky, as well as dioramas and installations. To the depths of my soul! Thanks!
It's definitely worth going. An audio guide to help.an extensive informative, detailed tour. Goosebumps. What kind of human efforts were made by people .
An excellent museum, perhaps the attraction that is definitely worth visiting in Minsk. There is a small parking lot for twenty cars nearby, so it is better to go on weekdays. The exposition is impressive, there are a lot of equipment and weapons. It begins with the period of the beginning of the war, goes through the main events and ends in the upper Victory hall. There are many showcases with events and their participants (including personal belongings, uniforms of Marshals Konev, Baghramyan, Rokossovsky, and other heroic warriors), the partisan movement, and the atrocities of the fascists. The latter should definitely be shown to school-age children so that liberal illusions do not arise when they grow up. There is a lot of information, so I would recommend an hour-long tour, and then a self-guided tour. Option two is to take an audio guide, but this is for three hours, because there are a lot of events and information. There is a souvenir shop in the lobby of the museum, there is no cafe as such, there is a coffee machine. In general, come in, you will not regret it.
I highly recommend you to visit. It will be interesting for absolutely everyone: both children and adults. Belarusians are generally very sensitive and attentive to the topic of war. And here everything is done at the highest level. Installations, archival materials, personal belongings - everything is very impressive. A good tour, everything is clear and to the point. The only thing is, if there is an opportunity to go anywhere on a weekday, do not delay. There are a lot of people on weekends
I, I emphasize, personally. This is my opinion. We were a family (4 people) in Minsk. My wife's uncle died near Mogilev. We took an excursion. It's all good. The girl spoke loudly and clearly about the stages of the Great Patriotic War. I just didn't feel that it was one country that withstood the pressure of "dedicated Europe" and was able to turn it around. I do not diminish the role of the Belarusian partisan and underground movement, but I did not feel unity. Maybe I took it that way, I don't know... As in a fairy tale, twigs are easy to break, a broom is difficult....
An amazing museum! There are a lot of exhibits that you "stick to". There is a lot of information on various areas of military operations both on the territory of the republic and throughout the former USSR. It is ideal to take an excursion to then slowly walk around the exposition again.
I am delighted with the museum ... Unfortunately, you can't do without tears here either ... the concentration camp rooms are vividly recreated, there are many photographs, models of equipment and tools . It is mandatory to visit. 100 percent.
