It's a good museum, it's not even bad for your money. If you take a full ticket, then get ready that in the end you will want to eat and get tired) and so it's not even bad, most of all I liked the last halls where there was modern art, in general, I am satisfied!!
I really love this museum. I've been in it 7 times and every time, like the first one. The works presented in this museum are fascinating and make you think. Excellent representatives of academic art. There is also a hall with modern art. Therefore, everyone will find a work to their liking. The museum is perfect for those who do not understand art, or know very little. Since in the forms presented there, there are no difficulties for the ordinary viewer to understand. I assure you that few people will leave indifferent.
If you love art, then this place is a must-visit. The staff was very polite, the ticket prices are not expensive. The interior is fascinating. The paintings are just great, the impressions are only positive.
It can be recommended)
A collection of art objects worthy of a great country. What wonderful artists were born, lived and worked in Belarus! They sang her praises and glorified her all over the world! And the country is proud of its heritage! This puts the Republican museum on a par with the most famous museums in the world!
An incomparable museum. One day was not enough for us, we went the next day and on the second day we were kicked out by the caretakers. Thank you to the museum for the opportunity to see these works of art firsthand
I highly recommend it to everyone. Canvases of the Wanderers, Chagall's graphics. It was interesting to get acquainted with the work of Belarusian artists
In general, it's not bad, I liked the collection "Repin and the disciples", but there is little information about the art of Belarus, at least at the permanent exhibition. The museum staff could have been more polite, and also not to discuss each other in front of visitors.
An excellent modern museum, a large collection, comfortable, bright large halls, courteous staff help to organize. I liked the building very much, the magnificent architecture.
A wonderful museum with a rich collection of paintings and DPI by both Belarusian and European masters. The art of Asian and Oriental countries is also represented.
There are also temporary exhibitions that show different sections of historical eras.
An amazing collection of Russian artists. Repin, Serov, Makovsky, Vasnetsov, Vereshchagin, Nesterov, Kuindzhi, SHISHKIN are simply incredibly beautiful works!!! Malyavin, Korovin, Levitan, Kramskoy, yes, in general, all of them. A great museum, set aside at least 3 hours.
I really liked it! A large museum with different styles of paintings, sculptures, icons and other valuables. It should be taken into account when visiting that it will take a lot of time for a thorough inspection
A very pleasant place. I think that Minsk is a must for tourists to visit.
After visiting the main halls with collections of classical artists, do not forget about the new museum space with a collection of the 20th century.
I recommend at least 2-3 hours for examination.
An incredible collection!!! We were very impressed by the visit.
It's better to spend a whole day visiting two buildings, amazing work, goosebumps! I recommend taking an audio guide.
There is a good exposition in the main building, and the building itself is interesting. But only 1 of the 4 halls was opened in the exhibition building.
A museum with a solid art collection. There was not enough navigation and audio guides (there are, but very few), the logic of the exposition is not obvious, but in general it is interesting and there is something to see.
By the way, an interesting exhibition of traditional Belarusian costume is being held here until December 11. A wide variety of traditional Belarusian weaving is presented, as well as samples of traditional knitted graphics. Fascinating:)
A wonderful museum. I really liked the interior and architecture of the building itself. We managed to see a very interesting exhibition of contemporary art.
A very pleasant museum and courteous staff. Come for at least an hour or so if you want to go around and see everything calmly. We ran in for an hour and there was absolutely not enough time
An incredible experience. I really liked it. It takes half a day to see everything well. The only thing I didn't really like was that the staff wasn't very friendly and there were no parking lots nearby, or we didn't find one.
Exceeded expectations. A wonderful excursion into Russian painting and architecture - from Levitskovo, Borovikovsky, Rokotov... before Serebryakova. Three sculptures by Antokolsky (small bronze)
An interesting exposition of Belarusian artists and their art in general)
I expected a little more from the metropolitan museum, but in general it is interesting and informative. There are some inexplicable gadgets. Do I need to save and present the receipt at the entrance along with the tickets?!? Are there just not enough tickets and they are not allowed to use them???? If you left the receipt in your outerwear and put it in the wardrobe, go back and look for it. Meaning?
They are already running on the phone screen everywhere, but here you need a cash receipt. Nonsense
A gorgeous museum with a huge collection! We spent a lot of time there, because it is simply impossible to cover so many beautiful paintings quickly! I recommend it to everyone to visit!
I've been wanting to go for a long time. I was very pleased. I was impressed by the paintings of the past centuries, the skill of the artists. The spacious new halls feature works by foreign masters.
Everything would be fine, but the ventilation is disgusting. It prevents you from enjoying the beautiful and there are practically no benches in the halls to sit and relax
Not a very large, but very cozy museum. It contains works not only by famous artists, but also modern expositions. Take an audio guide and enjoy the works of art!
A place for the soul! Beautiful architectural solutions and material for studying are significant. Pleasant social discounts on tickets:)
We go to every exhibition and look forward to new ones :)
The permanent exhibition of Russian painting is definitely worth a visit to the museum. I also liked the temporary exhibitions.
I didn't like the lack of a map, structure, hints, where and what to watch. It resembles a quest: passing through the hall, it is not known what lies ahead: either a passage to the next hall (and then you realize that you have not looked at the second side yet), or a dead end and you have to go back (and you could not run from one wall to another).
Well, the hall of modern art or I don't know what to call this hall because everything is in a heap there, and modern, and icons, and a Japanese kimono of 1980 (I didn't understand what value it had because there was no information), and paintings of the Soviet era. It was difficult for me to perceive the icons of the 17th century next to the painting of an unknown artist of the 19th century. Perhaps if I had immediately understood what was waiting for me, the impression would have been different.
I liked the main exhibition and the interior itself. We also visited an additional exhibition and a Chinese one, and in the new building we were not so impressed. But in general, it's worth visiting, of course, the art is wonderful.
An excellent, large museum, one day is not enough, we were there on the second day, we went around the whole. Aivozovsky's paintings are a separate visual thrill.
the building is large, due to which there is a lot to see there. There are as many as 3 blocks with different works of art. in this museum, I realized that landscapes carry me far into my memories, and portraits did not make any impression on me
The museum is just what you need! There are all iconic artists and even sculptors! You don't get tired of the exposition, you even have the strength to visit temporary exhibitions! From the flaw: there is no attribution of porcelain. Just general phrases! From the unusual: there is a modest interactive for children!
We have never been to this museum before and decided to visit it with the whole family. Everyone found something for themselves, discussed, shared their impressions. We had a good time. Of course, this is a subjective opinion, but I am glad that there are this and other museums in Minsk where I think you need to visit with your family at least once.
The hall of Russian art and Belarusian art of the 20th century is just a delight! Be sure to visit these two halls, and don't forget to download the audio guide!
