The price level is average lower, the taste of food is average high.
The room is not large, we did not book, and immediately after arriving in Tbilisi we went there with the hope of having dinner. When all the seats were occupied, they asked the owner - he recognized something, said to wait a little. After 7-10 minutes, a table was vacated. During our visit, 2 so many were occupied by local Georgians, the rest by tourists - both Russian-speaking and English-speaking. Which indicates the great popularity of the institution. There was 1 overlap: I asked for otjakhuri to be served without bell pepper, as a result they brought it with bell pepper, I had to clean it myself since I am allergic to it. The waiter apologized in the end.
As a result, I give a five to the institution, since overlays can happen at all)))

Honestly, the kitchen and service are so-so. We were surprised, not for the better. Because this place is in the top 5 in Tbilisi.
We didn 't like all the dishes we took . The soup with olives is generally very strange. Vegetable stew (something like that, I don't remember the name), was generally sour , either the owner or the manager (a young guy) tried it and said it was normal. Therefore, we will not remove it from the account (as he said) in general, I would not go there anymore. And yes, the menu is hand-written there and when we ordered the pie. Tea was brought to us, and they said there was no pie. So we wouldn't have ordered tea then either…

A cozy, homely cafe. You feel like visiting a Tbilisi family; old photographs on the walls, a cupboard with crystal dishes. It's simple, cozy here. The homemade wine is great. We took Khvanchkara (40 lari liter) very tasty. We also took a homemade apple pie (3 lari). There are a lot of people here. It 's not for nothing 😉

This is one of those rare places that you want to come back to again and again while in Georgia.
It's worth starting with the fact that here you are always treated as a friend and guest, and not just a visitor, which is why all the tables are often occupied here - the atmosphere of this institution is charming.
The interior is very colorful and interesting. There are many historical photographs of the owners' family and beautiful paintings hanging here.
The owners treat each guest with respect, regardless of the visitor's views, which is why there are no flags of other countries (and never have been) or other policies here - this place is exclusively about spiritual gatherings, delicious food and interesting people.
They always cook delicious food here, with a soul and at home. Chikhirtma with ojahuri alone is worth it - everyone will find their own dish. Also, the insanely delicious wines that the cafe owner makes. At the same time, there are adequate prices here.
In summary, it should be emphasized that this place is a must-visit if you are in Tbilisi. There are not many such establishments and people who work in it.

A very pleasant place with a homely atmosphere. Eggplant rolls are the most delicious that I've tried. Kharcho is ordinary, a lot of rice, chumeruli is a strongly fried chicken, a lot of garlic. Both dishes are delicious, but ordinary. The prices are low. Since there may not be enough tables, it is better to come at an unpopular time or book. In the evening, it is not easy to find - it is located in the basement of a house on a dimly lit street and also does not glow much and is quiet.

Absolutely the best family restaurant in Tbilisi. Everything is very tasty and very inexpensive. Be sure to order homemade lemonade and coffee with ice cream at the end. Do not ignore wine and chacha (we got 70%, but today there is what there is today, and tomorrow it may not be). Ask Nikoloz (the owner), who is always in the hall and is responsible for drinks, or his son (unfortunately, I do not know the name), and you will have an interesting and informative conversation on almost any topic (Georgia, wine, football, skiing - something that you have checked for yourself). I recommend it to everyone.

Five minutes walk from the Peace Bridge. In the basement. Very cozy atmosphere, at home. There is Kindzmarauli. Eggplant is well cooked and not expensive. They used to cook excellent khinkali, but after the covid they stopped, it's a pity. Nice quiet music. There is a piano. Whenever I am in Tbilisi, I come here.

This is a real homemade Georgian food, these are true Georgian hosts❤️❤️ this is a small, cozy place, hurry up! You may not always be lucky with a free table! A soulful cafe with homemade delicious food, sooooo delicious wine (even took a couple of bottles with them as a gift) and pleasant hosts.
There are only positive impressions left, if we are still in Tbilisi, we will definitely look again, an atypical place, unlike 90% of establishments.
I read that they write about salty food in the reviews - I didn't notice this, despite the fact that I myself eat relatively everything fresh. It was delicious for me, they took soup, khachapuri, salad with walnuts and Kindzmarauli. Everything was served on time, without delay, unsalted 👌🏻
A photo in an institution is a separate pleasure, because it's so nice to know what kind of people feed us. So many old pictures...)
In general, a person spoiled by Moscow restaurants and quality puts 5 out of 5.

I read the positive reviews and decided to take a look, as a result: they give you a menu made up by hand + a piece of paper where you write yourself what you chose = authenticity;
The menu is very simple and there are no hinkaleks that are so praised in the comments. Soups predominate.
The room is damp, flies fly, sometimes they get on an electric fly swatter - there is a crackle and a new visitor shudders = entertainment;
The food is not very good. Everything is super salty.
People come here to drink wine, after a few glasses it makes no difference to the rest of the criteria.
You can only pay in cash;
To the toilet = wet area, it is not easy to get there, but it is interesting....
Honestly, I do not advise, the food is not much cheaper than in other places. There is little space, it is very narrow, because you are sitting in the basement of an old house in general.
Of course, the hosts smile sincerely, for this 2 stars, but the hair in the food is also sincere...
P.S. someone may like the interior, the furniture is old, simple and a bunch of photos / icons / and various little things placed in a chaotic order.

Purposefully visited this cafe (or restaurant?) according to the feedback on the query in the browser: "Budget establishments with decent cuisine top-12". A very cozy place with generous and hospitable hosts! When choosing a wine, a WHOLE glass was poured for a sample, and a melon was cut under the wine itself as a treat. The ordered dishes are quite good, in the style of home cooking. Get ready for the author's khachapuri with an egg in the style of scrambled eggs. If you crave a warm and peaceful environment, you can safely head to this place. The menu is presented in handwritten form in Russian, giggled from the position of "meat with a grenade". The wine deserves special praise - I have never drunk anything tastier. But the main thing is the owners. You are unlikely to find such hospitality anywhere else in Tbilisi. I was there twice, I wanted to eat and take wine with me before leaving, but they had a day off on Sunday, I didn't take it into account. The dishes are delicious. The hosts are friendly and generous. I ordered 200 grams of Chacha, they brought a bottle of 0.5, the conversation here is not 200 more, we will consider 200 in response to me. My grandfather then brought me 4 kiwis as a simple treat, for chacha, while the dishes are being prepared, my wife two glasses of wine to try, and a glass like Kiwi jam, only fresh. The owner took the bottle, left and returned with a full one. They left with tangerines and kiwis. When they wanted to leave a tip, the owner refused, asked them to give it to those in need. Pleasant, kind atmosphere, delicious food (ordered labio, kharcho and khachapuri). But! as they say in the reviews - do not count on typical service.

If you want to eat delicious food and not get negative feedback from Tbilisi, then forget this place and do not believe the positive reviews. They don't know how to cook or don't want to use the word at all!!! Kharcho is from the positive, I asked for it not spicy, it is not spicy, and then - the rice is overcooked into trash, the garlic is almost raw in slices. Chkmeruli- in their performance, this is boiled chicken (there was not even a hint of fried) filled with broth that is tinted with matzoni or sour cream, and that's it!!!! And this is Georgia! Chashushuli - warmed potatoes with chicken in the microwave! On absolutely cold ketsi! Even the tea was cold, in battered mugs. All dishes are served in 5 minutes, although they said that everything is cooked from under the knife. The interior is stretched to 3, the toilet is creepy, although it performs its functions. There is no light bulb or backlight at the entrance doors. Deep disappointment, run to other places

This is a great place, we are regular guests here for the entire holiday period in Tbilisi! The atmosphere is like visiting relatives and I was visited by deja vu! Eggplant with nuts, soup with tarragon and plum chakapuli, the most convenient form of khinkali, khachapuri is very tasty! Shakmeruli and in general we tried all the menu and it's love! This "Family cafe" was visited purposefully based on reviews on Yandex... I can't figure out where the positive reviews come from. The place is really authentic, the local flavor in every meter of this institution is 2 stars for this. The menu is simple, uncomplicated. Actually about the food - it's not delicious. Khinkali is an undercooked dough, 1 gram of meat. Ajapsandali is a boiled vegetable paste, with a kilogram of chopped coriander on top (R. S. I have nothing against coriander). We were treated to water - thank you very much, but the glasses are so dirty that it is not clear whether they are made of glass or not. If you want to eat on a budget, buy khachapuri in any small bakery from a mega pleasant elderly baker). That's all.

I fondly remember the evenings in this lovely place. An out-of-tune piano that made us happy) The sweetest hosts who tried to understand what pancakes from a 5-year-old customer are))) and in the end, the owner himself played us old Georgian music and went to get ice cream for my daughter at the nearest store. It's incredibly emotional there.
