This hotel was provided to me by Egiptair Airlines because I had a great break between flights.I was at this hotel 10.09.2024.There were 5 hotel employees on the reception, but only one worked. He made the keys for us 40 ! minute. When we came to the room, the keys were not activated and we had to return back to the reception. In response to my questions why we can't get into the room, the receptionist shouted that their system does not care. Why would you send people to the rooms? Then the front desk staff kicked me out of the hotel 4 hours before my flight! So they avenge me for indignity. Please note the hotel's management to pay attention to the work of the staff of the reception! They spoil the image of the hotel!
Great location, but everything else is very average.
The breakfast is ordinary, no frills. The condition of the rooms: everything is working, but tired. The mattresses are hard, the pillows are not very comfortable, the safe in the room was not closed, the furniture needs updating. But I love sockets in New Hotels: there are a lot of them, there are separate USB sockets, you can connect to the TV via HDMI.
On—site restaurants - hug and cry. Inexpensive, but. Pizza resembles what is served in schools, pasta is inedible, tomato soup is completely empty. It's even amazing how such a thing lives in a country where they can cook in principle. Actually, no one in these restaurants eats, they stand empty.
But they sell good local whiskey and gin, I highly recommend it. The service is not bad, they are trying to help.
I stayed here for the night during the overnight transfer. The lobby is beautiful, the buffet breakfast is good, there was even a huge cake for the guests, there is a swimming pool.
The rooms are clean and tidy. I lived on the second floor, during my stay there they refreshed the platbands. In general, it is suitable for one night, only the air conditioner is a bit noisy
We just returned from a vacation, there were transit passengers in Cairo and the Novotel was paid for, we flew to Cyprus, stayed there and back at this hotel too.I would like to say that we almost regretted staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean, there is a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. The most important thing is the pool, considering that we had a 5-year-old child with us. Very friendly staff, happy to help, were at the bar, served with a smile. As for nutrition, it is varied, pasta was made for the child, as requested. The choice is good, fish, two types, I liked it, someone ate meat, and also without complaints.there are a lot of salads, pastries, and cakes of all kinds. If someone needs a hotel in Cairo, I recommend it.Besides, the airport is nearby. Specially bus every 30 minutes or taxi, inexpensive.
We got into this hotel by accident. There was a flight by Egyptian Airlines. The flight was canceled and a hotel room was provided, as it was a night of waiting. The homeless shelter is dirty. They gave me a room on the 3rd floor. The hallway is dirty and stuffy. The room smelled stuffy. Ventilation was turned on, mosquitoes flew. Everything is old. The linen is gray-yellow. In general, the impression is that the night was sleepless
The hotel is a little tired. But in general, there are no complaints about the number. The staff at the reception and at the umnichki bar. Of the hard cons, Wi-Fi seems to be there, but to put it mildly, it does not work. You won't be able to work from a laptop. I asked this question at the reception, to which I was told that yes, there are a lot of people in the hotel, so the speeds are near zero ... scribe. But to spend the night, quite to myself. Moreover, there are shuttles that are ready to take you to the airport or pick you up from there every 30 minutes.
I deeply sympathize with those people who live here not as compensation to the airline for canceling and rescheduling the flight, but for money. I didn't even know that such bad hotels even existed. This is a hostel with a beautiful lobby. Not a hotel, but a very old hotel. Everything is so old, it's just terrible. It is unpleasant to touch either the furniture or the bed. The renovation is worse than in Soviet apartments. Everything is worn out to the maximum. The food in the restaurant is disgusting, only national desserts, cheese and sausage are normal. The reception staff is friendly, but this does not add any advantages in this situation.
Terrible hotel. They gave me an unmade room with a rumpled bed. In the hallway, as you walk to the room, you feel like you're in the 90s. The only plus at dinner is the food is quite edible
The staff is polite, the room is clean, the linen is clean, the bathroom is clean. The pool is waist-deep, but in general it is suitable for overnight accommodation before departure
