We stayed at the hotel from 12/24/2024 to 01/22/2025.
It is very good that we caught both the Catholic Christmas and the New Year. We had great festive dinners and a wonderful program!
We arrived at the hotel around 8:30. The bracelets were put on immediately, and breakfast was served. We checked in at about 11:30, despite the fact that the official check-in starts at 14:00.
I asked for a room on the 1st floor, not far away, because my joints hurt and it's hard to walk. The first room was given on the contrary far away and on the 2nd floor, then they showed the room on the 1st floor and closer. After Baksheesh promised, they actually settled in the Family room instead of the standard! The money was not extorted. I gave $10 to the guy who drove us around the territory with suitcases and $10 at the reception. To the question "is it not enough?" They answered: "it's a gift. I've given you as much as I've given you." Nice to meet you!
The rooms are not new, but in good condition. No unpleasant odors. The bed is very comfortable. There is a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, and drinking water, which are constantly replenished.
I was completely satisfied with the food: varied, a lot. There's always something grilled for dinner. There were shrimps and crabs. Excellent oriental sweets, not to mention all kinds of biscuits.
The beer is quite drinkable. Strong drinks (local for free) at first seemed to have the same taste and were disgusting even in cocktails. The bartender corrected the rum by adding granadine (pomegranate syrup) and mint. Sometimes there is a Pharaoh rum, which is much better than the standard one (I don't remember the name). The bartenders Mahmoud and Islam are great guys! We learned Arabic together))
Very beautiful and large territory. White herons (I don't know what they're called) walk slowly across the lawns during the day and look for funny hoopoe worms.
All the staff is friendly and attentive. It is clear that Alyonka's chocolate bar and / or a couple of bucks tip will only improve the mood when communicating.
The mini-club is run by Bazooka, who has been working at this hotel for 28 years. The Russian girl Elsa helps him. Every day there is some kind of children's movement, but most of the time the children are just supervised: they draw and play by themselves.
One of the pools is heated. It has +24. Big! In the pool without heating +19. It is stated in the description of the water park. However, it's actually a pair of small slides, probably a meter high. I wanted to take off the star for the lack of a water park, but I didn't: I really enjoyed my vacation!
The hotel has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere.
It was annoying that under the name of the dishes at the New Year's dinner, the New Year's greetings were only in Ukrainian: no Arabic, no English, no Russian! To my surprise, they replied that this was not a provocation, but just signs from the time when Russians did not fly to Egypt, and there were almost only Ukrainians in the hotel. I had to believe it, but I'll still take off the star alone.
Everything else is at the Novotel Beach, which, as the name suggests, is located right on the beach. From Palm, just cross the road.
It's just an amazing Christmas and New Year's Eve movement!!!
Santa is a Bazooka on a camel, handing out gifts to children, a foam disco right in the pool, a strawberry festival. Super! And I didn't know that a jet ski with a flyboard could be right in the pool! A guy in a Santa costume was taking kids on a flyboard.
The animation is interesting in the evening. I liked the Tanura dervish dance, the fire show and the fakir show the most. The dancing girls are great too.
The animators (an Egyptian and 4 Russian girls) are funny and sociable.
In all bars, people living in Palm are also served. I read in the reviews that they don't pour palm oil on animations - this is not the case.
We went to the SPA. Money is wasted! I strongly do not recommend it. The host asked for his impressions on the way out. I suggested going to Turkey or Russia to find out what a Turkish hammam is. And the price tag is just a horse!

The Reef is why tourists actually come here. It is very convenient that you can enter the water up to your waist or chest on the sand without corals, and then swim over the reef in a mask. Interesting reef, interesting fish. Not Dahab or Ras Mohammed, of course, but not Novorossiysk either (with all the love for this heroic city).
There are always sun beds by the sea, and the pool in Bich runs out around 10:30. This is due to the fact that there are not many of them by the pool, and the water in the pool is + 28, and in the sea +24.
In December and January, this is an argument.
The hotel guide, as always, was terrifying if you didn't buy excursions from him. I even made him sign a paper stating that I would not buy excursions from Pegasus, so Pegasus is no longer responsible for all of us)))
How Pegasus was going to answer for us is unknown. The insurance policy also covers non-Pegasus excursions, contrary to the statements of the guide. Nasty guy, in general. But I posted the information about the flight in a timely manner.
A pharmacy with good prices is on the Beach side and slightly to the left after the crossing. It's called Elizabeth. I did not check my knowledge of the Russian language by pharmacists. English is good. Shops with reasonable prices for souvenirs, sweets,... on the right after leaving the Palm at the entrance to the neighboring hotel. Do not forget to bargain.
The ATM at the entrance to the Palm changes the currency. You need to select an Exchange and put dollars in it. Sometimes it doesn't take a hundred, less is fine.
Wi-Fi works very well in the rooms and throughout the Palm and Beach area. Including on the beach! He sometimes disappeared in the restaurant. I didn't measure my speed, but my wife watched movies without brakes.

We had a rest at the hotel in mid-October. I liked everything, but there are a couple of disadvantages: the hotel itself is very beautiful, well-groomed, the houses are snow-white, 5*, but inside the houses the furniture is a little tired, the curtains with drops of dirt and dust are 4 *. A bathrobe and slippers are provided on request.
The room has everything you need for life, shampoo, etc., hair dryer, safe, TV with Russian channels. Free good Wi-Fi in the rooms and on the territory of the hotel, but not everywhere catches well outside the room. Towels are changed daily, bed linen, it feels like they were changed just before our check-in.
The beach is 5-10 minutes on foot, there is a golf cart to the sea. It may be difficult for the elderly to walk to the sea if they check into rooms on a hill.
The entrance to the sea is smooth
The food was delicious, and so were the cocktails at the bar. The pools are all clean.
In general, I recommend it if you do not pay attention to the nuances inside the room.

We returned from vacation the other day. The hotel is nice, not new, but clean, cozy. It consists of 2 territories, one by the beach, the second on the 2nd line, the beach and the entire traffic are shared, all on the first line.

This hotel takes its own beach. It's a great place. The beach is sandy, the approach is convenient. You can relax with small children. There are reefs right in the shallow water. You can see the fish without diving. You can swim with fins and a mask. The reefs are located in labyrinths, while the depth is not very large. The underwater world is very luxurious. We have seen moray eels, napoleons, winglets and many others. The hotel itself is not new, the rooms are too, but it doesn't matter. The food was wonderful. Fish, meat, chicken, fruits. Thanks to the chefs, in my opinion, they cook very tasty. Desserts, in general, are great. The territory is very beautiful, everything is in colors.

The beach with a reef is full of fish, the neighboring hotel has no reef, you can safely go there. It was boring for two young couples. When we entered this "miracle room", we were blown away: the furniture was about 30 years old, a tired Sofa, pink ceiling, red curtains, in fairness we can say that the bathroom was normal against the background of all this. This room rightfully deserves the title, the worst of all that we have seen. To move to a normal room, I had to pay an additional $ 70. Although it was a shame to pay extra for what we saw in the pictures when we chose this hotel, that is, in our understanding, a 5* hotel cannot have rooms that you want to forget like a bad dream. As a result, we lived in room 5104, repairs and furniture are normal there. The boy who cleaned our room has a huge respect, he tried very hard, after him there was always cleanliness and order, even folded T-shirts, he did Well!The breakfasts at this hotel were monotonous, there were few fruits and almost no seafood. Alcohol is disgusting.But the pastries are very tasty. To get to the beach, you need to cross the road, but tourists are transferred by very friendly guys. There are a lot of sun beds on the beach, but I didn't like the beach itself, and there are fish, but you can't go in without special shoes, or only from a pantone. There is not much place to swim. We had a rest with our family! The superior was paid for, they gave a standard on the 4th floor with a small child, when outraged at the reception, they demanded an additional payment of $ 30 trying to get into the fact that our tour operator had booked a room without repair (superior) but it is being repaired with an additional fee. We went to sort out the Beach to Yaroslav was given the same as it was but on the 1st floor . There is no cleaning even if you leave a tip. Napkins and tea do not put such a feeling in principle. All reviews are written by hungry animators from tourists' phones (I personally saw them on the beach). The animators are mediocre. They run into the canteen grabbing shrimp from the stew , leaving a mess in the plate . It 's just awful . If you come for lunch or dinner later, some dishes may not be enough. The food is tasteless and monotonous, there is little choice. Rooks are flying all over the hotel - climbing on plates, shitting in the nearby pool on chairs and tables . On day 4-5 , everyone had a stomach ache and diarrhea . The rest is ruined . Of the advantages, only the sea and the coral reef and a pleasant person who translates across the road between the hotels , but this is not the merit of this hotel. I'll never go back there.

There are no mosquitoes, and other annoying insects, flies are rare. Hoopoes and a stork were seen on the territory of the hotel.

The rooms need to be updated, but everything works, nothing falls off. The air conditioner is cooling properly, shower, toilet- everything is fine, cleaning every day.
Food - for adherents of a healthy diet - vegetables in all kinds, meat- beef fish and chicken daily, there is also for fans of the grill.
The animation is not intrusive, they do not pull at your hand.
The pools on the territory are clean.

The feeling is not of a deep sea, while there are a lot of fish, the entrance is sandy. The food is quite Egyptian without frills, but tasty and satisfying. It's enough for a week of rest. However, younger children will try to live on French fries and pizza. No one was poisoned, infected or pooped (which is already an indicator for our family).Alcohol is only local and you can really only drink wine and beer . The rest is only in the form of cocktails . The animation is very unobtrusive. There are pools, but I can't say they weren't used.

Guests of the hotel can use three bars. A bar near the restaurant and pool, a beach bar, and a bar on the territory of the NOVOTEL BEACH. At first, we were told that the last bar only serves drinks during the evening shows. But I asked the bartender and he said any time. The alcohol is all local. I've never found it diluted anywhere. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails are made in all bars. Is free. But bartenders have different qualifications. Someone cooked better, someone worse. But everyone is friendly. No one is begging for tips. The attitude towards all tourists is the same. I have not seen anyone running around any particular nation. The most delicious cocktail was prepared by Amir, the manager of the bars on the beach. A week later, he was transferred to the BEACH Hotel bar.

If the restaurant's chef and the manager of bars and restaurants are not busy, they personally greet each new guest. Every day in the restaurant there is a themed cuisine of the peoples of the world. Sometimes the dishes vividly demonstrate the theme, sometimes imperceptibly (for example, Mediterranean cuisine). On seafood day, crabs, squid, cocktail salads with shrimp, various fish are served. In addition, there is fresh fish (trout) right in the restaurant and after buying it for $ 10 a piece, you can ask them to cook it for you. The food is quite varied. There have always been oriental sweets made from kataifi dough (angel hair) and filo. For breakfast, oatmeal, three types of milk (whole, skimmed, oatmeal). Breakfast cereals are varied. Croissants. Honey in a honeycomb and honey in a jar. Pizzas. Lasagna. Quail. Beef. Beef liver. Duck liver. Melon. Orange. Guava. Strawberry. Moreover, nothing ever ended. Guests of the Novotel palm Hotel enjoy the beach of the Novotel beach Hotel. Walking is not stressful and not far away. If for some reason you do not want to walk to the beach, an electric scooter will always take you to the territory of the Novotel beach hotel. Towels are clean and take at least 10 times a day. For the sake of interest, I once said that I forgot the cards in the room and I was offered towels without cards without any problems.
The bar starts working from 10.00, but you can pour water, pour tea, coffee, and drinks from the cooler yourself from 9.00. All bartenders are friendly and friendly. Warning! Although the beach is used by guests of two hotels, there have always been a lot of free places in 10 days. Strangers are always politely asked to leave. Otherwise, two girls came from a nearby beach, and then one began to sink. And then who will be responsible for it?
I don't believe a single word to the young lady who was outraged that she was molested. All suggestions are correct and unobtrusive. Unless the traveling merchants, when you are on the first line, will get a little annoying.

Girls walk along the beach and call for darts, bocce, volleyball, yoga, gymnastics. In the evening, various shows and concerts are held on the territory of the Novotel beach. There are workshops on cooking burgers and salads for children on the beach.
The renovation of the main restaurant and the construction of an Italian restaurant on the beach are in full swing at the Novotel beach. The most amazing thing is that there is no dust or noise. How they manage to do this is difficult to say. Due to the renovation of the main restaurant, the guests of the Novotel beach eat in a separate restaurant in the Novotel Palm.
We went to the Mahoni restaurant. According to the promo code "Traveler's Menu", a chic dish costs only $ 26. We had a rest in early December 2023. I am writing as a non-fastidious person who visited several resort countries before Egypt and just compared them.
To begin with, the advantages:
A large beautiful territory. You can meet storks, hoopoes. A cool beach, lots of comfortable sun beds, beautiful fish, diving with a mask is a thrill. There is a bar by the beach. The animation is visible and audible, you can actively spend time. Nice pools. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, the speed is acceptable. Despite the second line, it's nice to walk to the beach. A specially trained man walks across the street. Heroically slows down the flow.
Minuses:
Service. Well, not at all close to Turkey and even the UAE. The drink in the restaurant may simply not be brought. Table cleaning is slow. Room cleaning is according to the mood. They simply did not come to us twice in 10 days, the replacement of bed linen and towels is a rare event.
Meal. Meat is often rubbery. Half of the dishes are completely incomprehensible to me personally. I took the same thing, I got tired of 10 days of rest. Even soups and salads upset me. Alcohol is so-so. It is clear that everything is the most budget-friendly. Services can be obtained on the beach. Like pesky flies. There seem to be fewer merchants in Sochi. There are also flies on the beach. Mosquitoes in the evening. Well, it's more about winter Egypt in general, and not about the hotel in particular.
The rooms are tired. The toilet flush didn't work well until I realized that it needed to be pressed sharply and forcefully (you need a life hack).
In general, if we take the price / quality, then there is no desire to return to the hotel. There was no love.
