A very beautiful castle, you get right into the old fairy tales about the Middle Ages! Inside, too, everything has been carefully restored, and the guide will tell you in some interesting detail. We were out of season in November, so there were few people, and it was possible to walk and take pictures without crowds, and other groups did not interfere at all. There is no such thing in the summer, of course, 5,000 people speak there per day.
The place is beautiful, well restored. The castle is wonderful. The hunting hall is especially good. The park around is very beautiful, you can even swim in the lake. I recommend you to visit, you will not regret it
A very interesting place, the path to which runs through beautiful fields with blooming forsythias and neatly trimmed grass.
The territory is very large, the park is gorgeous, there are a lot of different-voiced birds. Frogs are singing very loudly in a small pond. At that time, a beautiful swan was visiting the shore, and swifts were flying in the courtyard of the castle. There are many beetles on the paths, which tend to turn over on their backs and move their paws helplessly.
The museum's exposition is interesting, it's worth a visit.
Paid parking is available on site, and it is free for hotel guests.
After 19 o'clock, the entrance to the territory is only available to those who stay at the hotel. Moreover, if you take one of the suites, you will spend the night in the castle itself.
I booked Suite #2, but they moved into the third one - the other wing smelled of paint at the end of May.
The bed is gorgeous, the ceilings are high.
And now about the cons.
The letter says that to check in, you can drive to the territory, and then put the car in the parking lot. But it does not say that it is possible to do this only after 19 hours. That is, if you leave at 12, then drag your bags to the parking lot or wait for the evening to enter the territory.
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms, but the tulle in the bedroom is burnt.
The toilet is wobbly, there is only soap from the toiletries. The valve in the bathroom is leaky: it did not work to collect water. The maximum we could achieve was the opportunity to use the bathroom in the second suite. There, too, the water was leaving, but the water pressure allowed to maintain the level, which could not be done in the third one - the faucet creaks and the pressure is very weak. We have not received any compensation or at least an apology.
The lamps in the form of three candles in the living room are lit with only two candles.
In general, if you do not take into account the situation with plumbing and the Hetman restaurant (about it separately) - a romantic night in an ancient castle protected by UNESCO is worth a lot.
A wonderfully restored castle, very impressive! There is a beautiful park around! An interesting exposition in the castle. There is a parking lot nearby, there is a place to eat. I want to walk and enjoy!
Very clean, renovated.
You're touching history.
Thanks to Alexander Grigoryevich for not allowing everything to be privatized and plundered, only the best impressions
A gorgeous castle! There are hotel rooms, restaurants and performances take place on Palace Square on Fridays. You can sit over a cup of tea, a glass of beer or champagne, enjoying the chic atmosphere and the wonderful acting.
52 million dollars were spent on the restoration of the castle.
Amazingly beautiful places, especially liked during the golden autumn. Tours of the castle are very interesting. Everything is like in the famous song "There is a graphic pond in the old park ..." And indeed, lilies are blooming.
A wonderful atmospheric place! I recommend you to visit. The castle is surrounded by a moat. Walking around the castle, it was very interesting to learn the history of its inhabitants and the castle itself. A very beautiful park. When we got hungry, we went to a cafe near the castle. We sat down next to the fireplace. The dishes are not prepared for a long time, we ordered classic and merchant-style draniki. Delicious, but in terms of Russian money, expensive. To get to the toilet, you need to take the key on the bar counter, leave the cafe, go around it and there's a toilet😊 for me, this is a big minus. Parking in front of the gate is small and free, paid in front of the castle. I don't know how much it costs, we used it for free.
I visited Nesvizh Castle in June 2024. I liked the large territory, a lot of greenery. A ticket to the castle for one adult costs 18 Belarusian rubles. Opening hours are from 10:00 to 18:00. I was with friends. It so happened that we split up. And we went around the castle with different guides. I didn't like the tour. The guide's voice was boring, not emotional, the story was dry, like an encyclopedia was read. And a young woman was a guide for friends, she talked enthusiastically, interestingly, not only according to facts, but also told myths. They were completely delighted, and then they told me what they had heard, because I didn't remember much after the boring narration. The castle is beautiful, with a rich history. It's worth coming here.
There is a gift shop on site. The products there are not castle-themed, it's a pity. But the goods are good, Belarusian, and I would like to (repeat) thematically.
Very cool! It's an amazing place, well done. It is not far from Minsk, so it is unambiguous to go, and there is still Mir Castle nearby, slightly in the other direction. You can walk here all day and the park is large and in the castle itself.
We travel everywhere with a dog, it turned out that additional sanitary standards apply in the country for a permit with a dog. I.e. if there is no permit, then you will not be allowed in any way. Sorry. In Russia, people are increasingly traveling with a dog and went actively, including in Belarus, but they faced such a problem. It seems that dogs are generally treated more than normally, but if not, then in no way. Sorry.
It's a very beautiful castle. Guided tours for visitors are constantly held. The guides tell us about the history of the castle in an interesting and positive way. There is a small cafe in the castle, where they cook well.
A very beautifully restored castle-palace of modern times with extensive exhibition halls and reconstructed 17th century decoration. There is a large shady park around the castle, near the entrance to which there is a spontaneous parking lot.
A very beautiful place, a well-restored museum, a huge number of visitors. You can take a walk in the park, you can go to the museum, which has an interesting exposition.
Excellent work of the staff, guides! Thank you for your careful attitude to history and monuments of this scale! Thank you for the opportunity to see all this!
It's just some kind of relaxation! It's beautiful, quiet, and the photo locations are just great! It is interesting to wander through the halls of the castle. Thanks to the staff for maintaining the level of the museum.
A picturesque place! A huge park and a pond nearby. The castle itself is incredibly beautiful, it is very interesting and informative inside, we used the audio guide service, it helped a lot! Don't forget about the souvenirs.)
The tour was interesting and informative. There was a small costumed greeting with a quiz in three halls. There are a lot of fake exhibits and room decorations. We were surprised by the prices in the sugar shops. They are lower than in Minsk stores.
The castle is incredibly beautiful inside and out. Cool park area .You can ride around the castle on a bicycle rickshaw with 4 seats .It was great! Enjoy delicious ice cream in the park. There is a cafe, but they didn't sit there.
It is mandatory for all guests of Belarus to visit. A very interesting and beautiful castle. There are daily skits, and there are actors in the castle itself.
I recommend everyone to visit this place! Thanks to the professionalism of the guides, you will plunge into the atmosphere of the 16th century... Everything is very beautiful ...
The beautiful castle, an architectural monument of the 16th-18th centuries, was the residence of Prince Radziwill, a representative of a wealthy family in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Regarding the territory, the safety of the castle itself, everything is very cool. Entrance to the castle is paid, there is a museum, but there are few historically preserved items left there (bed, wall panels, ceiling), mostly everything is new, stylized for that era.
What didn't you like?
Firstly, the strange, unfriendly staff. We decided to go to the museum. Upon entering the courtyard of the castle, the employee pointed to the cash register in the opposite part of the courtyard, stating that it was the only one in the castle. Since we arrived late, we ran to catch up. And then it turned out that there is a ticket office at the entrance to the museum. Did the employee not know about this? It's very strange.
Then, after a while, we needed a bathroom. The employee told her husband that the toilet was closed. Although the museum was still an hour away from closing. After loud indignation on my part, unexpectedly, it turned out from another employee that the toilet was still open. What kind of special protection of the bathroom is also a mystery.
Secondly, I really did not like that some of the exhibits presented in the museum contain absolutely incorrect historical data. In particular, in one of the showcases under the exhibit it was said: "Belarus as part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, 18th-19th century", "Belarus as part of the Russian Empire of the 18th-19th centuries." What kind of state is Belarus that existed in the 18th century? At first, they thought that it was simply written crookedly, although many other exhibits had quite literate writing: "The territory of modern Belarus, 18th century." And then we saw that on those exhibits, on which it was written about a certain "Belarus in the composition.." there were stickers describing that this program is funded by the EU, in particular, Latvia and Lithuania. After that, the questions of such formulations disappeared, but the sediment from the fact that it was written so illiterate remained.
Well, one more drawback: literally in the first hall after entering the castle, it is indicated that the bed in the prince's bedroom is historically preserved. Preserved, yes, but it is impossible to approach and examine it, because the hall is simply fenced off with ribbons. As a result, one of the few items that were saved (because almost everything in the halls is a new model) in fact, it is hidden, you can only see it in the doorway from afar.
Well, the ticket says that the castle has two entrances with different halls. As it can already be understood, we got into one, but alas, into the second. Having passed exactly as indicated on the ticket, we did not find any entrance. Either it was indicated on the doors that the entrance was official, or some souvenirs-restaurants. Navigation in the territory is clearly not very good.
In general, given the disadvantages described above, I think that 3 is an assessment solely for the safety of the castle itself and for the pleasant territory around it.
One of the familiar places in Belarus. It is necessary to visit it. It is about 100 km from Minsk. The road is good. Everything is clean, well-groomed, beautiful. A wonderful park for a walk. There are places to eat and clean toilets.
I recommend.
It's a beautiful place, we didn't take the tour, we came on our own. The castle is interesting. It's beautiful to walk outside, gorgeous nature. I would have done so, gone to Mir castle, then to Nesvizh and stayed there overnight to walk around the territory in the evening and in the morning
We really enjoyed it, even more than in a more lavish Mundane castle. It's interesting to walk around and look outside. In general, I recommend it to everyone.
There are two ways to get to the castle. The navigator took us to a botanical park with century-old trees, so the road seemed quite long in the heat. Beautiful, well-maintained area around the castle, in the park. There is a cafe where we can have a tasty snack. Overall, the impressions are good. It was nice to walk around the castle along the moat, the shade, the views are beautiful. I recommend
The preserved castle is in excellent condition, perfectly emphasizes the time of the past centuries, excellent excursions and a guide, well-chosen compartments (weapons, paintings, stones). It is very informative and interesting
Very interesting excursions, theatrical in two halls. The museum is adapted for disabled visitors, the staff is friendly. Paid parking is available on site.
The castle and the territory adjacent to it are of extraordinary beauty) You can walk for a long time and enjoy the beauty (ponds, lakes, swans, ducks, a very beautiful park). There is parking, it is paid, but if you check into the Palau Castle hotel, then parking will be free for you. The hotel is also very cozy, the staff is polite, there is a restaurant and souvenir shops on the territory of the castle.
The excursions themselves are very exciting and informative. The guides focus on those things from the interior that have remained since those times. The history of the castle and its owners is very interesting.
The castle can be visited and viewed both in free viewing and with a guide. We stayed with my husband in full admiration, we advise everyone to visit the castle!
A very atmospheric place)) I liked the castle itself, even though it's not that big. We didn't get on the tour, but it was fine without it. By the time of three hours, we had enough with lunch!)
We got acquainted with the Radziwills, almost became related). Thanks to them for the splendor they left behind, thanks to the restorers, the authorities, and the museum staff for the safety, fullness, and well-groomed territory. There are a lot of exhibits with a mystery, a lot of information, which later prompted me to read additional sources. I was very lucky with the guide:
Valeria literally revived the former inhabitants of the castle with a wonderful dose of humor. The aftertaste of the excursion warms for a long time
A great place, atmospheric, as if transported back in time, the park is good, but there are a lot of mosquitoes, you can also treat))) the restaurant and the hotel are super easy to find fault with, in the evening everything is under guard. You will not regret arriving
It is very interesting and informative. It is necessary to take an excursion. Without it, it is difficult to understand what and where. But everything is wonderfully organized. Clean, beautiful, majestic
A large and interesting castle with an excellent pond (nice sandy beach) and a spacious park. I highly recommend excursions - it's entertaining. Several interactive performances.
Despite the fact that the castle can be said to be a new model, it is definitely worth visiting and definitely with an excursion! I really liked the girl guide) There are a million people on May holidays, it's good that they were on a tour, because groups were allowed without waiting in line. Independent tourists stood in a huge queue for tickets, the queue was already going to the women's toilet. Therefore, if possible, it is better to come on weekdays, or at least on weekends.
The Polish gentry lived well. The castle is interesting. To broaden your horizons, you should definitely visit with an excursion. Make your own conclusions about how different strata of society used to live.
A beautifully restored castle from the Polish-Lithuanian period.
A very interesting tour.
There is an audio guide.
The collections of home interiors, tableware, and hunting trophies have been restored.
There are souvenirs.
Beautiful castle, several parks around. Interesting excursions. There was a long queue at the ticket office, but we bought tickets online. It's convenient. There are good cafes, with very friendly staff)) It is not convenient to get from Minsk by public transport.
I was very impressed by the visit to the castle. The palace has many beautiful halls, visiting which you admire and learn its history. The area around is large, beautiful, well-groomed, there are benches for recreation, ponds and a large park area.
Belarusian Peterhof , in short . It was founded by Prince N. H. Radziwill Sirotka in 1582 and his entire family was provided there with trees, busts, halls, fireplaces, armor . It must be very interesting in summer - there is a huge park with ponds around the castle
