The castle in Nesvizh. The second most important (in my perception) castle in the Republic of Belarus.
Chic, beautiful, comfortable for that time.
It is one of the top five attractions of the Republic of Belarus. I would recommend watching it all day. 2-3 hours to the inner apartments, the castle park and across the English pond and return to the city through the Slutskaya brama. The rest of the time you can visit the Museum of local lore, the museum in the town hall to see the churches and churches. Just walk through the streets.
During a break, if necessary, go to a cafe or restaurant. Yes, and just to sit somewhere to rest. ie. go with an overnight stay.
A beautiful place, nice to walk around, the castle itself is well restored. There is a place to relax everywhere, bike rental is a great choice. There are cozy cafes. I recommend
a beautiful, pleasant place. just a huge space for walking, cycling/scooter rides. everything is well-groomed, the crowd of people is distributed throughout the territory, so there is no feeling of mass character. everything inside is also beautiful and interesting. and even got to the rehearsal of the ball in the courtyard.
I liked the palace, the territory is very well maintained, as in all of Belarus, everything is mowed down, cleaned! That's just not possible to visit the restaurant on the castle grounds, there was some kind of event. I recommend it!
An unforgettable palace and castle complex. The residence of the Radziwill princes impresses with its solemnity. The interior and exterior decoration attracts with conciseness and romance. The landscape of the castle completes the magnificent composition of the complex.
A wonderful place to relax 🥰
A beautiful lake with an alley. Very interesting excursions and exhibitions of the castle.Friendly staff.A large selection of themed excursions. There are enough parking spaces.
Minus one - we couldn't have lunch (in the area of the Town Hall), three places were simply closed, which is very strange. Previously, there were no such problems (we have been visiting these places every year since 2003).
My love forever! It is not difficult to get from Minsk by public transport! An incredibly polite employee at the museum's ticket office! She has a separate respect! The museum is clean and tidy, pleasant smell, polite staff! I really liked it! Many thanks to all the museum staff for their incredible work! I will definitely come again!!!
It is a very beautiful museum, I have visited it many times. There was also a night tour. It's an interesting show, but if you want to see the subtlety of the entire architecture, the color scheme of the interiors, it's better to go during the day, since at night there will be no lighting accompanied by guides with flashlights, sometimes they are turned off for a greater impression of stashers and ghosts. For night visits from 12 years old
Excellent work of the staff, guides! Thank you for your careful attitude to history and monuments of this scale! Thank you for the opportunity to see all this!
Both inside and out there is a very beautiful castle. Renovated for 5+
There is a large park and interesting sculptures nearby. And angry mosquitoes)))
The local cafe is expensive, but delicious
An interesting and very beautiful place. Unfortunately, only a small part of the castle is accessible to osiotou. The rest is a cafe, a restaurant, a hotel...shop. well, commercial organizations like aesde
The castle is beautiful, with an interesting history. True, we were unlucky with the guide, but the guide who accompanied us on the bus told us a lot of interesting things.
It's a very beautiful place. If you are passing by, be sure to stop by. We went there purposefully and did not regret it. It is advisable to go with an excursion.I recommend it to everyone 👍👍👍
A very beautiful place, I liked the tour in the castle, we took an audio guide and listened to the guides, the benefit of the tour after the tour. The park area is huge, there are bridges and various pedestals, busts, well-groomed paths on its territory. We took a tandem bike (pumped up the leg muscles) and a scooter (rolled 5 km), rode on a "steam train", there is everything from scooters at the rental. We went to the city across the bridge, the center is nearby, everything is neat and well maintained, paintings are sold on the bridge. There are cafes near the castle, we had lunch in Barbara, it was very tasty, we had dinner in the castle restaurant, the restaurant was not impressed both by the interior and the food. We spent the night at the castle hotel, the rooms are clean, you can live. It's worth going
The place is very beautiful. The castle itself, although a new model, is also very impressive. But, I will join the many reviews of very boorish staff. A 6-year-old child doubted that there was gold in the belt, an aunt flew up and attacked the child with hatred, saying what reason does he have to doubt? The inadequacy is complete. And the Getman restaurant on the territory of the castle is also full of horror. The food is disgusting, besides it takes a very long time to cook. And the worst thing is, with completely empty halls, we were taken and put at the most terrible table somewhere in the back, justifying this by the fact that the rest of the tables are booked. We managed to eat, but no one came to the reservation, of course. Disgusting staff, ruined the whole experience of visiting the castle. I really don't want to believe that this is all because we are Russian-speaking.
It was interesting) The museum is good. Everything is done with love. It's a pity there are not enough guides, we would love to hear a story about the history of the castle... But the audio guide helped out to some extent. A very beautiful, well-maintained park near the castle.
Everything is very beautiful, the castle and the territory have been restored with a soul. The guide Natalia (I forgot the patronymic) conducted an interesting tour. We took a photo in historical costumes - everyone was just delighted))
A great place to relax from the hustle and bustle. A large area for walking on the street, a beautiful castle. It's quite interesting inside. However, not all rooms are allowed to enter.
I recommend everyone to visit this place! Thanks to the professionalism of the guides, you will plunge into the atmosphere of the 16th century... Everything is very beautiful ...
It's a very beautiful place. We spent the night right inside it. A walk around is a delight for the eyes. Inside there is an informative tour of the castle rooms.
An interesting old castle, a real immersion in the history of Belarus. The stunning decoration of the palace, paintings, installations, sculptures.
Clean, bright, large space.
There is a wonderful forest park area around the castle. It's quiet and cozy.
Here you can walk through the usual halls in museums for the hundredth time. The lock did not make a positive impression - the routine. Never! Never enter the dining room! Instant coffee and preheated purchased pancakes without any greeting.
It's a very interesting place. Unique interiors. You can take an audio guide. Wander and take pictures in replicas of costumes from past eras. It was more interesting for children to run and take pictures in costumes)) We didn't like the cafe at the entrance. Expensive and not tasty.
A great place to relax and explore the history of Belarus. The museum, despite the fact that some of the exhibits are new, has a rich collection, the interiors are simply gorgeous. A very good audio guide, the information is structured, it is perceived easily - be sure to take it if you visit the museum yourself.
A very atmospheric place)) I liked the castle itself, even though it's not that big. We didn't get on the tour, but it was fine without it. By the time of three hours, we had enough with lunch!)
A quiet, peaceful place, beautiful. One of the disadvantages is the lack of air conditioning in the room. We were with the family, everyone liked it, especially the hunter's room.
Very picturesque. The architecture is awesome. I was amazed that you couldn't see the castle from afar, it felt like it was in a deep forest, but you came up and contemplated the beauty.
Nesvizh Castle: expectations and reality 🏰
We have repeatedly heard about Nesvizh Castle, which is often called the pearl of Belarus.
We expected to see a real castle with magnificent interiors, but the reality turned out to be different.
How to get to the castle:
🚋 Train: The journey by train was difficult, without air conditioning and charging, which greatly affected the impression of the trip.
Bus: The bus from the station to Nesvizh was also without air conditioning, which turned out to be a big problem in hot weather.
Arrival and impressions:
🦽 Accessibility: The staff of the castle immediately spoiled the impression. I am a disabled person of the second group and I move on crutches. Instead of helping with the shoe covers, I was just told to take them off.
Toilet: The toilet was clean, but was located upstairs, without a ramp or other facilities for the disabled.
Interiors and exposition:
Ticket control: At the checkpoint, I was told that there were many stairs in the castle and I might not be able to cope with the ascents, which was inappropriate and incorrect.
🏰 Castle appearance: The castle looks nice and neat, but too sleek, devoid of historical atmosphere.
Museum: The interior displays were strange, with printed paintings and reconstructions, which created a sense of scenery rather than a real historical place.
Conclusion:
Despite the good condition of the castle and its attractive appearance, the internal expositions and lack of accessibility for disabled visitors leave much to be desired. Improvements in the field of service and a clearer separation of authentic exhibits from reconstructions are needed.
We give the castle 3 out of 5 stars.
We had a great time. Everything is neat. The numerous staff is polite and always ready to help. We recommend you to visit. The exposition is quite interesting. There are a lot of replicas, though. You can stay on site. But it's better to eat outside. Nice place!
A beautiful and interesting castle from the outside, everything is beautifully ennobled, it is interesting to come to see the architecture and just take a walk.
But there is a huge BUT, inside it is absolutely soulless inside, the most boring restoration. It was done extremely uninspiring
It's a beautiful place. Nicely. Well maintained. Do not enter the paid parking lot in large cars, it is very cramped, even for cars, and when there are a lot of tourists with departure and arrival, there are only nerves and problems and loss of time. If you put it for free behind the fence, there are no problems, except for the extra 200 meters)
A must-visit. I really liked this castle. Beautiful halls, a courtyard. Visit the chapel inside the castle - it is very beautiful.
There is even a hotel.Unfortunately, we didn't know that. There is also a cafe. A very good gift shop. It is interesting to walk around the Towers.
I really liked it!
Convenient parking.
The Polish gentry lived well. The castle is interesting. To broaden your horizons, you should definitely visit with an excursion. Make your own conclusions about how different strata of society used to live.
The castle itself is definitely worth a visit at least once in your life. The compositions and interiors are quite interesting. The park area is very weak, you don't have to waste time on it.
An interesting place. Must-see when traveling to Belarus. What's in the location: the castle itself, (climbing from the outside on the territory is free of charge. It is necessary to take an excursion inside). A large park with several reservoirs. It's very beautiful there too. There is a cafe on site where you can eat.
A beautiful and interesting museum. A beautiful building of the Middle Ages and modern times. The most informative pastime. It makes sense both to take an excursion and to take a walk on your own. The museum has a restaurant and a hotel. Everything looks very aesthetically pleasing. Well, if you dive into the secrets of the era ... and the legends about the black Lady ..)) I recommend a super place to everyone!
A very atmospheric place, well-groomed territory, there is a park,a lake,Parking, a restaurant, very friendly staff throughout the territory, I recommend you to visit!
An incredibly beautiful castle. Purity. It's very interesting inside. It's fascinating. A must-visit. You can take a walk in the park area. I recommend it 100 percent.
Very beautiful!!! But parking is a little unclear, there is no free parking nearby. There are 6 Belarusian buns for a fee . And of course the castles are beautiful, similar to those in St. Petersburg.
Belarusian Peterhof , in short . It was founded by Prince N. H. Radziwill Sirotka in 1582 and his entire family was provided there with trees, busts, halls, fireplaces, armor . It must be very interesting in summer - there is a huge park with ponds around the castle
A pleasant place, you can plunge into the 18th century, you can put on a dress of that era and plunge into the past centuries, I recommend you to visit!!!
