The official start of the Lycian Trail is located near the village of Oludeniz, and the finish is in the village of Geikbairi near Antalya. You can get on the route anywhere.
The section from Oludeniz to the observation deck is within the power of anyone. The ascent is smooth, you can ride the SUV almost to the end, you can use a wheelchair (you need large wheels). The trail is incredibly scenic with stunning views. Better at sunset.
Bottom line: Lycian trail – Oludeniz (up to the observation deck).
1️⃣ Training level - easy.
2️⃣ The climb is a smooth 75 m .
3️⃣ The length to the observation deck is 3 km (one way).
An excellent observation deck, beautiful views of the whole of Oludeniz open up on the way. The road to the site is not difficult, a couple of km along the path from the road, after which the difficult part of the Lycian begins. From nizhny Oludeniz, it is better to take a minibus to the cable car for 30 liras, you can walk back down along the road, but I do not recommend it, most likely everyone will honk at you😁
An observation deck on the bay from the Lycian trail.
The views are unreal!
It's very easy to get there:
We drove from the village of Oludeniz to Dolmush. They gave 155 lire.
They told the driver - the Lycian trail. He stopped it. We got out - there is a sign by the road - it's easy to go.
The trail itself is safe only at the beginning of the journey. Then it becomes almost "goat".
We didn't go far... We took a walk for our pleasure, enjoying the wonderful views of the panorama and went back to the village.
