The official start of the Lycian Trail is located near the village of Oludeniz, and the finish is in the village of Geikbairi near Antalya. You can get on the route anywhere.
The section from Oludeniz to the observation deck is within the power of anyone. The ascent is smooth, you can ride the SUV almost to the end, you can use a wheelchair (you need large wheels). The trail is incredibly scenic with stunning views. Better at sunset.
Bottom line: Lycian trail – Oludeniz (up to the observation deck).
1️⃣ Training level - easy.
2️⃣ The climb is a smooth 75 m .
3️⃣ The length to the observation deck is 3 km (one way).
An excellent observation deck, beautiful views of the whole of Oludeniz open up on the way. The road to the site is not difficult, a couple of km along the path from the road, after which the difficult part of the Lycian begins. From nizhny Oludeniz, it is better to take a minibus to the cable car for 30 liras, you can walk back down along the road, but I do not recommend it, most likely everyone will honk at you😁
Beautiful views, the riot of colors of nature inspires even in the "off season". An interesting route with winding trails uphill, good as physical. It's both a load and an offload for the mind.
It's a very cool place, I recommend it. But be careful and put on comfortable shoes. Preferably not on a thin sole, you will feel all the stones.

A very beautiful place, definitely worth a visit.
It is not difficult to get to this particular observation deck, you can walk from the beginning (the official entrance to the Lycian Trail) to this place in 10 minutes along an almost straight road.
I recommend that you come here before sunset to admire how the sun sets behind the mountains and everything around takes on a golden hue.
If you want to take a longer walk, you can continue along the trail as much as you want, until you get bored, there will be many more viewing and beautiful places along the way, because the Lycian trail itself has a length of 540 km. It is better to set aside one full day and walk along a section of the trail to enjoy the views. The main thing is to bring plenty of water and comfortable shoes (there are no water sources at the beginning of the trail).
An observation deck on the bay from the Lycian trail.
The views are unreal!
It's very easy to get there:
We drove from the village of Oludeniz to Dolmush. They gave 155 lire.
They told the driver - the Lycian trail. He stopped it. We got out - there is a sign by the road - it's easy to go.
The trail itself is safe only at the beginning of the journey. Then it becomes almost "goat".
We didn't go far... We took a walk for our pleasure, enjoying the wonderful views of the panorama and went back to the village.
Great view. The Lycian trail . Take a little walk and get rewarded with a super view and awesome photos. First, we took a minibus to the lifts on Babadak mountain and walked a little on foot.
Gorgeous views of the whole of Oludeniz. The road is unpaved, the first 700 meters can be driven by any car, then the ascent begins and the road is strewn with protruding stones, so it is better to climb the last 500 meters on foot
I reached this place, the Lycian trail begins very beautifully right there, I wanted to walk along it, but the road was broken along the mountains with a serpentine and the protection worked, moz forbade my legs to move on, did not fight the instincts, took a picture and went on. Here was my limit point =)
Of course, it is visible from the beach, an orange square, but you can only get there from Oludeniz itself - get off at the next stop after the funicular and moving to the right towards the mountain, which the funicular lifts. The road to the observation deck is equipped, comfortable, among the unusually bright needles of mountain pines, the aroma is extraordinary. The walk will be comfortable, but then the Lycian trail is narrow stone and goes higher and higher, the views are extraordinary, but the shoes should be appropriate. I recommend it!
It's a beautiful place, but the bad thing is that there are no footpaths along the roads.
It is necessary to go to the Telephone Exchange for 30 liras.
If you live at the Garcia Resort&Spa, be sure to follow the Lycian Trail to this observation deck. The view of Oludeniz and the sea is magnificent. Especially in the evening at sunset.
The view is gorgeous, BUT don't repeat my mistake! Walking from Nizhny Oludeniz in the summer along the road to this site is just HELL! I sweated like I've never sweated before, I even ran out of water on the way back, but I met a taxi driver's rescue parking lot. In general, on one of the maps you can find a path through the forest, along the mountain straight...I didn't take any chances.
