One of my favorite places is the Ritsa is always beautiful, but it is especially beautiful in autumn! If you come here, be sure to eat fish soup from lake trout in cafes - it's just a buzz. Parking a little further along the lake, 300r without time limit. So don't leave the car, traffic cops are working. To ride a catamaran 500r per person for 30min (quite enough) The fare to the territory of the national park is 700 rubles per person. By the way, if you drove a private car to Abkhazia, then insure the car. If you don't, then the good traffic cops will stop you in Gagra and willingly offer to do it. The price of the issue is 1400r for 15 days🙈

Lake Ritsa left me with incredible impressions! It is not only a natural wonder with crystal clear water, surrounded by majestic mountains and dense forests, but also a place that can become a real center of events. Although there is a lot to do here, from hiking along the surrounding trails to boating, I came here for a special occasion: meeting the winners of an extreme triathlon.
For those who like to combine outdoor activities and incredible views, Ritsa is a must-visit. And for me, this place is now associated with triumph, energy and harmony with nature.

Gorgeous nature, wonderful road - who would doubt it :) the entrance fee is 700 rubles / person. The only surprise is that near the Ritsa everything froze in the 90s - a bunch of cafes with a variety of designs and loud chanson, a lot of people coming in beads for 30 minutes. Lack of infrastructure for independent tourists. It is necessary to cultivate the place - to bring the appearance of coffee shops to uniformity, to make paths for walking, or even 200m to the right / left of the parking lot and nowhere to go. We were in winter - there was no romance from this chanson and coffee shops, we ran away into the snow, into nature.

the road to this lake itself is already impressive. if you go without an excursion, where you stop at each tasting of different local delicacies, you can see many beautiful views. the entrance itself is 700 rubles per person + 200 rubles for parking, which is located far from the main observation deck. the parking itself is like at a local shopping center in the Russian Federation, but of course it is paid, but what did you think?
the lake itself is very beautiful, there are catamarans for 1000 rubles for 30 minutes for two in great accessibility.
if you want to see the beauty of the lake without crowds of people, then go further, towards the state cottage, there are areas where there are no people and beautiful shots are obtained.

The beauty of the Abkhazian nature is impressive and magically attracts. Especially on the first trip, the road to Lake Ritsa almost from Pitsunda itself is a continuous mountain and river scenery with a fascinating view of the rocky mountain ranges rushing vertically upwards. But all this splendor is overshadowed by the reverse side of Abkhazian "hospitality" in the field of "tourist" business and service! Which are not there!!! Moreover, the hospitality there is a banal deception and "extortion" for, to put it mildly, poor-quality food and services offered. Example: if you arrive for the first time in your car and do not know the "local customs", at the entrance to the coastal territory you are met and stopped by a local resident in uniform, with a walkie-talkie in his hands, politely greets and gestures saying that you need to move down this path to a free parking for all visiting tourists! But when you get into this "divorce" and drive down to the shore, his partner meets you there and directs you to an empty parking space, after which, as a guide, he begins to tell you where to go, what to ride, etc., but most importantly, he warns that if you do not eat in "his" restaurant, then when You will need to pay 500 rubles for parking at the check-out, regardless of the time of stay!!! Such an attitude and lack of sane service spoils the whole flavor of such a beautiful place.
PS: In addition, when entering the Ricin Park, you have to pay 700 rubles per person, but at the same time, at the lake itself, you also have to pay 20 rubles for the "toilet". it would seem like a small thing, but with such a "service" you start to pay attention to it ...

Lake Ritsa is the pearl of Abkhazia, surrounded by mountains. A very beautiful place and incredible energy.
Of course, Abkhazia is changing every year, four years ago everything was completely different, now there is a lot of commerce, on the one hand it is convenient and good for people: cafes, hoteliers, boats, but on the other hand, that real natural pristine beauty is lost.
Entrance to the national park 700₽ for adults, 200₽ for children, ride a catamaran 500₽ per person, swing on a swing 500₽, photo in a national costume 100₽, nutrition is like all over Abkhazia - and everything is almost delicious!
I recommend visiting the Ritz, I always go there myself and I am completely delighted!

There is a chain of restaurants on the territory, Parking spaces, but they are paid!, you can rent a catamaran (of course it is expensive), but from the outside it looks very tempting. I took off the star so that the administration would pay attention to the maintenance of the lake. Near the shore, since the water is transparent, household garbage can be seen at the bottom, it is not very pleasant, you can clean it! I would like toilets, catering, parking lots to be located a little further from the lake in order to return some mystery, cleanliness and beauty of the shores, so that people can just enjoy nature and feel part of something unknown and beautiful. I recommend you to visit.

The road to Rizza is where the observation deck and everything else are. There are very huge rocks and the road goes through the gorge into the valley of the river. Unusual and fabulous.

The mountain lake at an altitude of almost a kilometer above sea level is impressive, it's worth coming here at least once and seeing with your own eyes. The only thing I would like to point out to the locals is a number of minor misunderstandings. Here, for example, a cafe, and literally a dozen meters from it, rotten driftwood, pieces of rusty metal and other debris are visible in the water. What should they do to put things in order? But this is most likely a manifestation of the local culture and there is nothing you can do about it...

Hello! A place where you need to go only by your own transport! Of course, you have to drive a high car to remote picturesque places, but the nature is swinging there and you can stop anywhere. The lake is worth visiting a little higher up the road there is a large parking lot where you can park a car, because at the very beginning there are a lot of buses, a lot of UAZ trucks and local ones that bring tourists. It is very beautiful and almost everywhere there is WiFi, if you need to get away from nature urgently for work. Very friendly staff of cafes and coffee shops. The cleanest air, and we decided to stay overnight by the lake, slept right in the car and early in the morning went to an empty observation deck, met the dawn . Naturally, at 5:30 in the morning there was not a soul and we fully enjoyed the view.

It is a very beautiful place, it makes sense to spend time and come here. I recommend that you spare no money and take a ride on a boat with an electric motor on the lake. Homemade wine in one of the cafes near the lake did not impress us, we could not even drink it. I'm sure if we had had a drink we would have ended the day in the toilet. The nature is beautiful, but the locals spoil everything, worse than the Gypsies at the subway.
It's being ripped off at every turn.
Entrance to the park per person is 700 rubles, parking by the lake is 200 rubles, although it is not written anywhere what and how much. A guy just stands there and pulls at everyone.
Any photo near swings, hearts, peacocks - 100 rubles. Judge for yourself.
Cafe near the lake, WELL, VERY high price.
Extremely inadequate, while when you refuse their product, they begin to be rude.
The kitchen is terrible, there is garbage near the lake.
And yes, anyone who wants a jeep tour, first look at how they drive.
If you are only planning to go to Abkhazia, then I do not recommend it. Look at other destinations, don't spoil your vacation.
