I didn't notice any disadvantages for myself. Comfortably. The room for two is of a pleasant size. There is everything you need. Washing machine and stove, microwave. Dishes spoons, forks, plates. You only need utensils for cooking. But we didn't cook. There were few days. Beautiful view of the sea from the window. You can even see dolphins. There is a TV. There are many different channels, including in Russian. The Internet was working. The staff is friendly. The elevator goes fast. We lived on the 41st floor. The disadvantage is thin walls without sound insulation. There were loud neighbors, they laughed a lot almost around the clock, and they listened loudly to Georgian music through the door at night. We dispersed after one o'clock in the morning. But this is a human factor. If they had lived longer, they would have had to go to the management. And so she reacted with understanding that people want a holiday. I wondered if the electricity would suddenly be turned off, how to get down (up) from the 41st floor🙈

And there are much more disadvantages.
It takes 15-20 minutes to go up and down the elevator, there are always a lot of people.
It's very noisy at night, music with bass from the club, cars honking.
There is no parking as such, you constantly have to look for a place for a long time.
As a result, we parked for 15 minutes, near the neighboring tower, to quickly drop by home, at this time our car was evacuated. We came, but instead of our car, there is another one, the stress is still the same when a car goes missing in a foreign country. As a result, I had to pay 120 GEL to pick up my car.
We will definitely not return to this place anymore.
I advise you to choose a more peaceful place to relax.

We had a rest in Gran City Batumi in September 2024. The location is great, it takes 3 minutes to walk to the beach, a beautiful view from the balcony of the mountains and the sea at the same time, the room is new and clean, has everything you need. The breakfasts are very tasty. 5 out of 5.

We stayed for 4 nights, cleaned the room after 2 days, changed the towels.
Of the cons: the sink was leaking, the plumber came, but nothing has changed.
There is no sponge, wash the dishes as you want.
There is no parking of its own, the city is around, but it is always clogged, finding a place is a lottery, sometimes you need to make a couple of laps. But I've never been able to park right next to it, which is not very convenient with things.
There are problems with breakfast, the service is disgusting - they never brought it on time, even though they agreed on a certain time. They send photos - you choose, but they still bring the wrong thing - why give a choice?! The food is delicious, but cold, there is no microwave in the room, but it would be useful in such a situation. Although there was a washing machine in the description of the room, in fact neither one nor the other. Of course, they offered to move us from the 15th to the 4th floor to a room where everything is available, but since there is a construction site nearby and quite busy traffic, everyone is constantly honking, we decided not to move and survive without the amenities we expected, but at least not to hear all these sounds so much. Not a bad location. Close to the sea, almost on the first line. Comfortable elevators, clean in the lobby and on the floors in the corridors. The apartments themselves are comfortable, spacious, and have everything you need: TV in both the bedroom and the living room, good Internet, comfortable bed, sofa bed, air conditioning in every room. Small kitchen corner, refrigerator, microwave, electric stove., set of dishes, electric kettle.
Of the cons: there is very little furniture in the room, there are not even chairs in the bedroom, there is nowhere to put things, cabinets are small. In one of the rooms, the air conditioner was running, there was a puddle on the floor every day. It was not possible to fix the interrogation.
There is no parking, even for unloading suitcases and checking in. There is only a ramp for disembarking/boarding passengers.
At the moment, there is a solid construction site around!!! All pedestrian crossings to the building are blocked due to construction, you have to go around the roadway, construction equipment works at night.

Gorgeous view from the 37th floor . It 's like an anthill . The old town is a 40-minute walk away. There is an embankment nearby . And there is a construction site on all sides. The place is just disgusting. just imagine that you have to stand for 30 minutes every day in the hope of waiting for your elevator. There are 4 working elevators on 42 floors. And the music from the restaurants is very loud from the street. We chose housing based on photos, in fact we got a dirty room, torn curtains, broken shelves, mugs with broken handles, a kettle with a broken lid, it was scary to go into the shower, apparently they never washed it during the season. Never again! They say that it strongly depends on the owner of the apartments. We were unlucky. We took two rooms. Dirty laundry, wet towels. It is clear that taking care of the guests is in the last place, they are only interested in money. There is no rag or sponge in the kitchen.
But the scariest thing is different!!! Waiting for elevators does not fit into any gate! In the morning, we stood for more than 40 minutes, as a result, we were able to cram only a suitcase on the 6th attempt and ourselves and the child went down on foot from the 18th floor.
With beautiful pictures, the hotel looks like a dorm, eerie audibility, the walls seem to be made of cardboard. Music is playing on the street until one o'clock in the morning, the advantages are the presence of air conditioning and a good location.
We took two rooms. One had a view of the construction site, and with the second we were lucky, the view was of the sea!

Among the advantages: beautiful view, pleasant modern rooms
Of the cons:
• ELEVATORS. There are 6 of them, and only 4 work for such a number of guests. We were constantly waiting for the elevator for 30-40 minutes to go down from the 24th and 28th floors. We have two small children with whom we had to go down on foot. Once they took a 9-month-old baby to the doctor, being late for an appointment for this reason. At the reception, my request to repair/activate the additional two elevators was answered that they were for "emergencies". Daily queues of thousands of tourists with children and complaints, administrators at the reception do not care at all. They respond to the dump with stony faces.
• NOISE. Orbie is located in the party part of the city, where EVERY day, even on weekdays, music from the Sunset restaurant on the lake screams from about 9 pm to 3 am. With the windows and balconies closed, this movement will still be heard.
• UNSAFE. If there is a fire in such an anthill, then there are simply no fire escapes there. 🙃 there is also no hood in the waiting area for elevators in case of fires, no air conditioners - stand sweating for your health while waiting for the elevator forever)
I also remind you that this is an apartment, not a hotel, so do not wait for cleaning.
The choice in Batumi is huge, for the same money you can rent a cozy hotel in a quiet area of the old town, with breakfast and cleaning. Take care of yourself and your nerves

We lived on the 41st floor, the view is cool, but of course the huge construction crane did not fit in, but all because construction in the building is still ongoing. The floors in the room were not clean, and there were no disposable slippers, I think it really sucks, for a hotel of this level and not cheap. The refrigerator was almost not cold. Shampoo, soap and shower gel in the double room were for one person. When checking in, the light in the room was not turned on (this is probably done from the computer at the reception), I had to go down again to turn it on, despite the fact that the elevator took a long time to wait, there were like 6 of them, but only two worked. And there is no option to contact the reception from the room. One of the advantages is a comfortable bed, a view from the window, the first coastline.

Expectations are the problem of the expectant.
We thought that we had stopped at a high-level hotel. It was a huge mistake.
The main disadvantage is the elevators. The building has 45+ floors. There are 6 elevators to it. It's not serious.
Once I waited for the elevator for 20 minutes, as a result, my nerves broke down and I went down the stairs from the 41st floor.
Rooms are cleaned on request for money.
They move into unprepared rooms that have not been cleaned after previous guests (we have a towel left in the shower for the duration of the entire stay).
One of the advantages is the conditioner and hot water in the shower. Although it is strange that this has become a plus. But we were glad that at least it was there.
During the week, they did not change our bed and did not come to clean it.
All the decoration in the room and the hotel is a prop. Everything has already broken off and got lost. There was not a single shelf in the shower, not a single offensive hook, not a single toilet paper holder. They were all broken off under the sink. As well as tiles, elevator buttons, etc.
It was just that everything was great in the photo, but in fact it was a mess. But it's more or less budget-friendly. And it is convenient for logistics.
