In downtown. There was a double room. The whole room is an ordinary room. Clean, quiet, tidy, beautiful view from the window to the river embankment. The staff is friendly, clear and to the point. The shower is working without any "it flows here if you twist it"))))) The rooms are clean. A fan (relevant in the heat), a refrigerator, a TV, a kettle, Wi-Fi (I didn't need a microwave oven, so I didn't remember), there are enough sockets. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Nothing antediluvian has been noticed, it is modern. And very affordable prices.

The hotel is located on the banks of the Z. River. Dvina. There are rooms with a view of the river. The prices are average. The room is clean and tidy. Ours had a TV, a small refrigerator, disposable shampoo and shower gel, towels. The Volna Cafe is located in the same building. There may be no seats during the competition.

For all the unsightly and dilapidated exterior interiors, the Sail turned out to be functionally suitable and convenient. The historical center of Polotsk. Convenient parking. The room is quite spacious. Clear. Fresh bed linen.
Sockets, hooks in the bathroom, hangers and space for things in the hallway. The only thing that didn't work well was the antediluvian TV.
The price by the standards of 2024 is simply ridiculous. Of course, the hotel is not for the demanding connoisseurs of hotel design.
There are no breakfasts, but it was not difficult to find a cafe in morning Polotsk.
So, if, like us, someone does not manage to get into a reputable hotel in this wonderfully sweet town with an amazing history - do not be afraid of the Sail - he will fulfill his role as a poor but hospitable host. One night in July 2024.

Despite the tired room, it was cozy. The cleanliness is perfect. The bed was comfortable. In a one-room room for 50 bel. There was a TV, a refrigerator, a kettle. There is a full-fledged chiffonier in the hallway. Large bathroom, with heated towel rails.
Of the cons, it was Saturday, the room is located above the cafe and music was playing until 23.00, the administrator notified us in advance. But we fell asleep to the music quietly.

Polotsk has a very weak hotel base for tourists (2-3 hotels) with a very high tourist and excursion potential, therefore, it is not very correct to evaluate by high hotel standards. The hotel is located close to the center and key historical, cultural and architectural points. Relatively clean (stained carpet, dark spots in the shower). There is no hair dryer. The hotel is in great need of renovation and renovation. I visited as part of an excursion group. Check-in is fast. They refused to make breakfast in the hotel cafe, because there was an event (wedding) the day before. At the same time, at 8 a.m. in Polotsk, you can find other great places for breakfast.

Within walking distance from the center. The staff is polite and considerate. The rooms are modest, but clean and cozy. The room has everything you need: shower gel, shampoo, towels, clean bed linen, glasses, cups, kettle. A hairdryer can be taken at the reception. The price tag for the room is very loyal!
The only caveat is that you can hear the music from the restaurant on the ground floor quite well. But fortunately, they always finish clearly at 23.00. So it's not so critical.

I really liked the 5*, was in a great room, overlooking the Western Dvina. The room is cleaned. A slightly uncomfortable pillow is for an amateur. Blanket 👍👍👍The towels are hard (( There is a fan, a kettle, one glass!!! I had enough for one!!! A TV with many channels, for every taste!!! The administrators responded to the request immediately-thank them very much!!! I will definitely come back here!!! Great price for a stay!!! 👍👍👍

The location is great. In the city center, on the banks of the Dvina River. Room 503 is a single room - there is no kettle. The refrigerator is practically not working. Apparently, there is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. It was saved by the fact that the sun was only in the room in the morning and when checking in after 15.00 it was quite comfortable (it was 37 in the sun on 12.07.24 outside). The mattress springs dug into the body. But the linen is good, clean. The towels are great. There is no lid on the toilet. The water pressure is good. There is carpet everywhere. The room is well cleaned. And apparently, no one smoked in it. The socket above the bed is very high. There is a table, an armchair, a coffee table and a TV. Young people were having fun under the window until 12.00. The music in the bar was turned off after 23.00. the elevator is large.

The Volna restaurant is located in the same complex. But he starts working only at 12 o'clock, so there is nowhere to have breakfast here. There is free parking on site. The rowing sports club is also located here. There are a lot of young people walking in formation under the guidance of coaches. It's OK to stay overnight for one night. But no more.

If you are reading this review, then first of all I advise you to drive past, in terms of spending the night, this locality. Everything is creepy and tired here. Both apartments and hotels. They do not meet any standards. There is no breakfast in the morning anywhere. And cafes start working from 10-11 am. The sail could have been a great hotel, but the owners put on development. The rooms and their furnishings come from the 90s. The linen is different, the plumbing barely works. The smell is musty from old age of everything. Drive past it. But, this hotel can be a salvation in case of an urgent rest stop.

This is not a hotel. This is a one-star misunderstanding. In order not to stay outside at night in Polotsk, I had to stop here. At least a roof and a bed. Nothing more. Probably, there has been no renovation since the opening. Furniture, interior, appliances from the middle of the last century. High ceilings, discomfort, extraneous unpleasant odors from everything. This hotel is not suitable for traveling, drive on.

We accidentally got to Polotsk, and just on the City Day. Hooray! But..., all the housing is packed. And in the Sail they sheltered, although in two single rooms, but clean and cozy. Many thanks to administrator Nadezhda!!! And the next night they were transferred to a double room! The service is excellent, the lovely, friendly girls at the reception are always ready to help and prompt! The rooms, the showers were cleaned to a shine, thanks to the maids. An excellent three-piece for a short stop, well, and who has ambitions;--look for some kind of National. The mood was spoiled by the cafe-restaurant Wave-that's worse than a station snack bar!!! I do not advise anyone, do not waste time and take care of your health!!! The meat is not fried, the potatoes are half-cooked, the bartender, he is the waiter, forgets everything, there are no napkins, spices, toothpicks... It is better to find another place, there are many of them in Polotsk, where you will be pleasantly greeted, tasty food, and will not spoil the mood with their snobbery, as in the Wave. And I liked Polotsk very much, nice kind people, beautiful architecture, the old days are fascinating, I want to visit more...
