Horrible experience. We were recommended this place by a close friend, however when we came we were told that we need to wait for khinkali for 35 min. In fact, we’ve been waiting for over an hour - and there was no end to this wait. Even for khinkali, to wait for over an hour is unacceptable. If we knew when we came, we would never stay. The other food was very average, and the service was not great at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
We always come here, real Georgian cuisine, everything is cooked fresh, hot, delicious. The portions are large, the service is kind, the halls are bright and large, you can sit on the terrace, in the courtyard there is an artificial waterfall and a pond with live fish. Across the street there are beautiful views of the mountains and the river, a great place for selfies. There is an exchanger, a toilet.
I am very surprised by the reviews below that the cuisine is very tasty, almost all over Georgia!
Guys, you either haven't been anywhere else (where it's really not that delicious, but real khinkali ...) or I don't understand something :)
We stopped by for the first time, and for the last time :)
On the way back from the trip, thinking that the pleasantness would last from the Georgian cuisine — it turned out absolutely the opposite! =)
If you have the opportunity not to stop, then go further, to Tbilisi, for example, and eat normal khinkali!
We ordered khinkali with beef, eggplant rolls, green salad, chikhirtma:
1. Khinkali is not khinkali, dumplings, dumplings, whatever.... Most likely they are cooked - boiled in water - because they are covered with a slippery film, tails - which you can't even take on :), minced meat (maximum) is dryish, but normal in taste, there is little broth.
2. Rolls are overcooked, not tasty, in general, eggplant and filling are cooked, not a roll, but as if a folded envelope :)
3. There is enough vinegar in the salad!
Ingredients: cucumbers, green lettuce, olives.
4. Soup is normal, the only dish, and that's just against the background of everything else ! :)
Also, for me personally, the minus is the chipped dishes!!!
The service is fast. Russian Russian is known, in English - the guy somehow did not answer, switched to Russian :)
By prices, ₽₽-—.
It's hard to write, since the quality and taste of the food are so-so, in general, the bill came out to 59.5 lari (~2.130₽, I include a bottle of lemonade and 15% mandatory tips).
Of the advantages:
There is a good toilet.
There is free Wi-Fi, in case someone doesn't have a local map or network.
There is a payment by bank card.
It's a beautiful place. The food is very tasty in this cafe. Beautiful views from the windows of the second floor. You can get double pleasure : from the delicious khinkali and khachapuri and the beautiful view of the mountains.
Various dishes can be ordered at the cafe. The menu is varied, the prices are reasonable. People even come here from Tbilisi to have lunch. Tbilisi is a 1.5-hour drive away.
It's great that this is a great cafe on the way to Tbilisi. The food is delicious and the staff is attentive. The meat is cooked with love. A must-visit. I recommend to eat here and relax ❤
A great place to enjoy great Georgian cuisine, gorgeous scenery, fast service. It's not the first time I've come, but the quality remains the same. Recommend 👌
The service of this place leaves much to be desired. They were not greeted at the entrance, they were not escorted to the table, the menu was thrown in one place in a pile. We ordered the national chicken soup, brought it very salty, it was impossible to eat. They brought a portion of meat hinkals, all 5 had a different taste. We also ordered kharcho and brought tomato soup. In 30 minutes of cooking, an unpeeled flatbread was brought in Ajarian style.
Dirty dishes were not cleared off the table for a very long time.
Khachapuri is delicious, and the rest is a failure. We took eggplants with walnuts - overcooked, all in oil + brought sour cream to them, which turned out to be paid (we did not order it); asked for dry wine by the glass - poured semi-sweet for 9 lari and assured that we asked for sweet. Khinkali with cheese is shaped like dumplings and tastes the same. For a restaurant with the name of the place of origin, khinkali is a failure. I do not recommend visiting: the food is tasteless and deceives the staff.
We stopped here for lunch on the way to Kutaisi. Delicious home cooking, especially homemade khinkali with lamb and beef, homemade wine is simply divine!
We were driving along the road to Tbilisi. They were chosen according to the highest rating. We came in, sat down at the table, they threw us a menu, made an order, and we are waiting. They began to bring food, soup, khachapuri is delicious, they bring shish kebab, the first piece is hard, then raw meat with blood went. They asked to redo it, so instead of redoing it, they warmed up in the microwave and took it out. The boiled meat turned out to be tough and with bones, although there was flesh
Very tasty dishes, khinkali is a bomb in general! We also tried khachapuri, we also really liked it. The service and staff are also at the highest level. We had about 15 minutes of waiting time
I came in for the first time, I thought that the waiter was not friendly. When I came in the second time, I realized that they were all behaving like this. They do not greet, throw mugs on the table, do not answer questions, do not say goodbye when they are thanked for food. If you don't like Russian speakers so much, put a sign on the door, earn money from us and behave like this. Shame.
Delicious khinkali, it is here that they are skillfully, truly cooked! Trout from the White Aragvi! Wonderful, delicious! Thank you, dear Eteri, for your hospitality!
A cozy roadside cafe. Delicious dishes. But due to the fact that there are a lot of visitors, they serve (cook) for a long time. I recommend the cafe, in case you get lucky and the download will be small
Khinkali is delicious, but I did not report them in the total large quantity of the order.
The salad portions are large, but the dressing is pure vinegar.
Eggplants are wonderfully fried, but the nutshell is also pleasing with its presence.
The price tag is too high.
The impression is ambiguous.
The dishes are brought quickly, but with a small number of customers in the hall, the feeling of a great favor from the waiter was present. In my opinion, he had other things to do, but here we are))
From the outside it seems like a tourist place... but no!!!! Sit down to eat on the second floor, there is a toilet on the first and on the second floor and both are clean to a shine! It's more comfortable on the second floor!!! The wine is dry red, they make it themselves, they showed the winery!!! Very tasty 🤤 we fed khinkali with greenery smelling of greenery!!! Well done👏👏👏👏👏👏
Location is a plus.
Minuses: the food is tasteless, there is some crumbly cottage cheese in Adjarian khachapuri instead of cheese, the service is disgusting. The dishes are served as if they were asked for free from them. Although even hospitable people would not allow themselves to do this for free.
For breakfast, 120 GEL is too much for three people. It is better to be patient a little and get to Tbilisi. However, on the positive side, there is a fast Internet connection and unionpay payment was made.
The restaurant that ruined the mood . The food is passable , I won 't say that it 's just wow . But the waiter served us like he was doing us a favor. I forgot about the coffee , which I told you to bring right away . And he didn 't bring it after several reminders . Then I carried the food containers and the receipt for a very long time . There was a desire to leave just without paying , because it was simply impossible to wait . Moreover , we were with a small one - year - old child , to whom you cannot explain that you need to wait . When the waiter brought the containers and the receipt, I asked how much the containers cost. He muttered something under his breath and left .
Overall, the service is terrible. The food is nothing unusual . Khinkali 5 out of 10, little broth , over - salted .
The most unpalatable khinkali in my life.
There were so many stories, but the expectation did not coincide with reality.
Completely dry without juice, bland in taste.
Naturally, the police were served without queues.
the service is lazy, khachapuri is delicious, but yesterday's (warmed up). we went for the sake of "mom khinkali", we were told that this dish is not here and it was only once. Turkish coffee is on the menu, but apparently no one wanted to cook it, so I had to drink cappuccino for 7 GEL from the vending machine. the crowd of staff was waiting for the next tour group and, apparently, was not very happy with the "stray" guests.
We were traveling with Gudauri, this is the nearest best institution and it's nice to sit and the prices are adequate, a very diverse menu, delicious and in fact to taste)I recommend you to visit.
Excellent cuisine
Comfortably
They can't work with a full landing, they can't wait for the menu, this is the only disadvantage
I recommend

We had a wonderful lunch on the veranda. Everyone speaks Russian. It turned out that it was possible to sit on the veranda with the dog. We had a wonderful meal, the cuisine is national. The waiter helped with the selection of dishes. I recommend it to everyone!
I recommend this hotel only as a last resort. If you definitely don't have the strength to get to something decent. The rooms are very so-so, the bathroom stinks.
It doesn't match the restaurant in any way. The quality of the dishes is not good. In addition, they will charge 20% for restaurant service. I definitely do not recommend:(
I do not advise, we waited 1.5 hours for the order, the waiters are angry, ordered khinkali and potatoes. The potatoes were over-dried, and the hinkals had terrible dough and everything was falling apart.
The most exciting place where you can take a breath when traveling in Georgia.
And KHINKALI is the most delicious there .
The hostess of Eteri is the most responsive...
Thanks for the place!
The first thing I liked about the view after driving long enough from the border!
And I did not lose. They were already closing, but when they saw my hungry eyes, they fed me a huge khachapuri! Very tasty! Quickly and kindly!!! I remember you- I will recommend you!) Thank you!!! 🙏
Super tasty, super beautiful, super good. It is not very long to wait for cooking. Be sure to try the Shkmeruli. Uv - uv - uv!!! The prices are also nice. You can even pay in rubles. In general, I really liked everything. We will definitely stop by more than once!
We had a good rest from the road. We had a delicious meal. I was pleased with the warm welcome. And by the way, the exchange office is in the next building, which is not a little important when traveling. I recommend it!
An interesting place, you can have a delicious meal overlooking the river. Responsive staff, good service. The order arrived pretty quickly. We ordered khinkali from beef and mutton.
In Georgia, mostly poor service, but this institution was pleasantly surprised by good service, delicious food and a stable working WiFi, but the toilet wants the best
