A couple of years ago, it was a great place, but now it is in demand for repairment. The concert itself was good, but that's another story. I didn't like that they force people to enter through a separate entrance if I bought the tickets online, and there's only 1 such entrance
They dont let drinks, pop corns drom outside into the building.
Building is pretty old, seats date back to 1980th I guess.
Sound system is so bad. I’m amazed why people would still go that boredom.
One of the few places in Tashkent with perfect acoustics.
There is an urgent need to reconstruct the entire building of the concert hall, while in no way should any interference be allowed in the original structure/project of the building, which gives this high-quality sound🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Great concert Summer melodies - with Uzbek pop stars - very decent, good voices, rich melodies and high-quality presentation - costumes, special effects, dance accompaniment!!! A friendly entertainer! There was even a competition among the audience! A beautiful building, nostalgia for the old large thoughtful concert halls with a national atmosphere - a chandelier in the form of a bunch of grapes. The toilets are huge, there were no queues with a full auditorium.
A historic, beautiful building. The business card of our city. But there is a caveat. Reconstruction of the building is necessary, especially inside. The marble has fallen off in some places, there are broken faucets in the toilets, dilapidated chairs in the hall.
A normal concert hall, the sound is good, but the chairs are old, but you don't have to choose if you want to go to a performance by your favorite band or singer.
A beautiful building! Great sound! But these seats take you back 30 years. Repairs are needed. I would also like to note that it is quite stuffy and hot in the hall. I wish you prosperity! And have great concerts! And good stars!
The best Hall is when a large hall is watching buttocks on TV, and when
you'll go to a completely different viewing level, but you still won't be able to relax, work, and have a good mood and rest.
An old concert venue. But this is not a reason not to go to concerts. Because there are no other more equipped halls. So just don't wait for Wow. But the acoustics are not very bad
The palace disappointed me greatly, dilapidated, aged and in great need of renovation. The chairs have become worse than the wooden chairs. There are few employees, it is impossible to find someone to get information. As for ballet, we were surprised that it looked more like simple dances performed by students of a choreographic school. Apparently, the performance was intended for children. They left after the first squad.
In winter, the snow on the steps and in front of the entrance is not cleaned at all, all 6,000 people (or whatever the capacity is) walk along one narrow 1.5 meter carpet path so as not to fall. Thus creating a crowd and queue. That's why the concert never starts on time.
I saw KAMAZ trucks loaded with building materials going to a huge excavation and a lot of workers were building this beautiful, unusual architecture concert hall
My childhood and youth were spent there... half of my life...
my soul and heart are there, I really love this place
This is the largest palace in Uzbekistan, more than 4 thousand people can fit there, I have visited it several times, and I am satisfied, speakers from almost all sides, and I recommend it to everyone
Eternal memory of the once greatest state in the history of the USSR. it absorbs the spirit of those times: if you build it for centuries, if you build it like that in huge quantities, create comfort at a minimum, and of course the most important part of the architectural ensemble is a monument to a simple blacksmith's family that conveys all the purity of the hearts of people of that time. A simple Soviet family sheltered 15 children of different nationalities during the Great Patriotic War. Imagine neither two nor four but 15!! The generation that lived in the USSR will probably no longer exist and this palace (although it does not fit into the association with this word for today) is an eternal memory, first of all, to those people, to that true friendship of such different peoples who won the war fighting side by side and shared the last piece of bread without even understanding each other's speech
How beautiful it is here!!! Well, they knew how to build!!! From any point of the hall, the stage can be seen in the palm of your hand both from the stalls and from the balcony, I can't say that the chairs are very comfortable... But in 2.5 hours we got a little tired of sitting))) there is a buffet, the toilets are clean, and they also sell flowers before the performance))) service!!!
A large hall for concerts and events. But!!! The hall is dusty. The speakers are not transmitting sound normally. People chewing chips during ballet is a separate pain...
One of the remaining pearls of old Tashkent is the Peoples' Friendship Palace with a concert venue and a monument to the family of the blacksmith Shamakhmudov, who sheltered orphans during the war.
I decided to visit the Peoples' Friendship Palace in Tashkent to see this famous building and go to a concert. I was very impressed by its beauty and scale. The building was huge, with many different halls and rooms.
I bought a ticket for the concert, which was supposed to start in the evening. I came a few hours before the start to look at the building and take a walk in the park. There were many people around the Peoples' Friendship Palace who also came to the concert or just wanted to look at the building.
When I went inside, I saw a huge hall full of people. Everyone was set up for a party and ready for a good time. I sat down in my seat and waited for the concert to begin.
The concert began with a greeting from the organizers. Then the musicians came on stage and started playing music. It was amazing! I've never heard such beautiful music. The musicians were real professionals who played their instruments with such ease and beauty.
I enjoyed the music and the atmosphere in the hall. The people around me were also very cheerful and in the mood for a party. The concert lasted about two hours, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
When the concert ended, I left the hall and went outside. I was very pleased that I visited the Peoples' Friendship Palace and looked at this famous building. The concert was amazing and I will never forget this evening.
We visited this palace for the second time.In Soviet times, we also watched a big concert of Uzbek masters of art. This time we watched the anniversary concert of Avaz Akhun. Historical large concert hall , with good acoustics…
One of the largest and most spacious concert halls in Uzbekistan. Who has not performed here, singers, comedians, dancers from both the fatherland and abroad. It is located in the heart of Tashkent. There are a lot of places around the perimeter for walking with family, friends and alone too :)

The Peoples' Friendship Palace is a very large and majestic building! Concerts are always great in it! The seats are only a little cramped, with your knees resting against the back of the seat in front. It is convenient that there is a subway nearby!
A small parking lot for such a hall
The men's toilet was empty and large for many people, in the women's turn)
In general, even in the back rows, the stage is clearly visible, the acoustics in the hall are normal, in general, the concert hall is not bad
It is better to leave the car somewhere nearby in the courtyards, the traffic jams near the palace are frenzied, especially after the concert
The monumental concert hall of the Soviet era. Velvet seats, carpets and drapes. Very satisfying. We were at a rock band concert accompanied by a symphony orchestra - the sound was gorgeous, like everything else.
The location is bombed, but there is no normal parking, it got better after the repair. It's a little hot inside in summer. They save electricity, if the artist does not stint and pays for the conditioning in advance, then you are lucky.
The Peoples' Friendship Palace is a very familiar place to everyone, as concerts, evenings and holidays are held there. I would like this palace to be reconstructed inside, an innovation is needed, a rebirth of the palace, since everything is the same there, I want there to be something new too....
I went to the B-2 concert on July 11th.
The building itself is very beautiful, air conditioners work well inside everywhere except the hall) During the concert, both the audience and the artists were dying from the heat, which was exhausting the fact that the concert was in the evening-at night. But the hall itself is also old and in need of repair (as the artists said "old school")).
Despite all this, the hall is good. There is a large stage and the seats have a good location, you could see the stage from any seat
The hall is old, the chairs are uncomfortable. Everything in the buffet is very expensive. But in general, the hall is large, the stage is perfectly visible from the 25th row. We went in and out of the concert without any problems.
The last time I got to the Peoples' Friendship Palace for a concert by Ludovic Enaudi. Then I thought, "Why here?" It seems like an old palace, and a composer of international level. But at the concert I realized how atmospheric it is here! And the acoustic background is thought out so that you find yourself inside a musical performance. It seems to me that throughout the performance, I was not breathing. All in one breath. It was cool! 😊
I really liked that the palace is in the same form as it was built. There is no broken furniture and scuffed walls. The spirit of the USSR is still alive there
I want to talk about the cons, since they always hold big concerts here, we ran into each other in winter, there was snow, a lot of people, laid one track so that people would not slip, you can put one track on each door, a lot of people and one track is a shame for the concert hall, people walked up the stairs and it's slippery there, many have fallen, go to the concert to relax and will not harm your health
The palace itself is good, the location, the acoustics, the stage can be seen from anywhere, but... The organization of events by the employees of the Concert Hall is disgusting, they just don't work and interfere with viewing. I was at a concert of the Todes group, there are no complaints to the artists and organizers of the concert, only gratitude, but huge questions to the management of the concert hall and its employees. Employees do not perform their duties: after the start of the concert, or rather after the 3rd bell, they should not let anyone into the stalls, latecomers, even if they have tickets to the stalls, this is simply disrespectful not only to the audience, but most importantly, to the artists, who find it difficult to concentrate when latecomers walk slowly in the stalls the audience picks up the contract to sit in their seat, children rush around the hall during the concert, and the employees absolutely do not care. They sit on the side and watch the concert or walk around the hall themselves without even bending down, it's just a shame for such workers, and their appearance leaves much to be desired. The impression was spoiled by this, because of the one and a half hour concert, 45 minutes were incessant walking around the hall, like this!!!!! I'm not going to this gym anymore!

The concert hall itself is good, the acoustics are good. the hall has remained since Soviet times and requires major modern repairs, but two hours for the sake of a good concert can be tolerated
The ticket office is terrible, like you got into the apocalypse, like you go into a bunker or a bomb shelter, it's scary.
The building itself needs to be repaired. The concert was great. Relax, have positive energy, got a lot of energy. The price corresponds to the quality or the setting . Two people rested for the whole front row, had a great evening. All this $ 50 I think is worth the money
A hall with good acoustics and a convenient location for the audience. For me, the sound is better than in the Humo Arena. Parking is 10 minutes from the palace. The repair is old, dating back to Soviet times. The toilets are clean, but the water does not work everywhere.
It would be nice to improve the upholstery of the seats and clean the carpets in this wonderful hall. In winter, it should be equipped with normal heating, and in summer with sufficient cooling. There is a feeling that the hall is not maintained in a modern form.
For the sake of our people, for the sake of foreign guests, so that we can be proud and boast of such an amazing and beautiful architectural heritage.
Our favorite concert hall. Parking is convenient, we quickly found a place. The hall is the same, the restroom works fine. There is a buffet, but this time we didn't go there.
