Very often, for many years, we went to this restaurant! Cozy, close to the sea, delicious food! But! this time, just before leaving, we came here, ordered, literally pointing our finger at the menu, what we want (there were 3 girls), but brought a completely different judo, 2 times more expensive and not at all what we asked for! The waitress Anastasia (with glasses) began to argue with us, then we asked the administrator, hoping that she would solve this problem! That was not the case! They refused to replace the food, left one dish, and replaced the other, but at the price of another, 2 times more expensive!the mood was very spoiled, it was not about money, but about understanding! I would like a more humane attitude, I'm not talking about the position "the customer is always right", It's a pity!

We visited this cafe tonight. No one even moved their heads when they came. Everyone is very busy. We tried to call the waiter, he ran around without paying attention. The waiter saw us at the 15th minute, threw the menu on the table with an arrogant look. When asked why so "soon" I replied that I only noticed you..... we asked the manager ...... we waited another 10 minutes for a reaction ... and left).
To the institution - Look who you hire! Rudeness is unacceptable in any place, and in such iconic places as Amra it is generally absurd. This is one time.
Two - with five occupied tables in the entire hall, waiting for the MENU for more than 2 minutes is unacceptable (we waited 15). And at least it is necessary that the administrator meets the guests at the entrance and seats them.
Three - you are located on the territory of the hotel with a room price (in our case) of 34,000 rubles per day. People who are willing to pay such money for accommodation will not tolerate such service on the territory.
A fat MINUS for the service!
It was not possible to evaluate the kitchen, it is good that there are other establishments where the staff is more efficient.

We were alone in the Pier restaurant in the morning, but the dishes were waiting as if half of the landing was there. Moreover, half of the positions we were interested in were missing.
I took an Abysta (Hominy) with smoked cheese. There was a great desire to try the national cuisine despite the excuses of the waitress. It was served without the hot sauce that should go with it, but overall I liked it despite the blandness. Instead of matches, they brought a blue one, which is not a match at all, in ground flowers. The coffee cup had spilled marks on it.
The place is considered good here, the view of the sea pleases, but I still wish the guys more growth and development, improve the service and adjust the availability of dishes on the menu 🙌🏼

It's not the first time in this restaurant, it was a good impression before. But today we got a complete disappointment. It's just a shame to cook national dishes so not tasty, I know what I'm talking about and I have something to compare it with. Perhaps you have become focused on the tourist flow, a one-time visit?.. to my remark that it is not possible to eat the dishes, we were told that everything is fresh, thanks for that of course! They offered desserts or fruits as a compliment, we refused, because the mood was spoiled. We wanted to have a delicious meal and specially drove from Sochi to have lunch with you, but our expectations were not fulfilled.

Through either the waiter or the manager, there was an attempt to order mussels in cream sauce
This employee said something unintelligible about the fact that they can be cooked within 20 minutes and that the one who will accept this order will be suitable for their order again. After half an hour had passed, the wine had run out and we had already left the restaurant and were walking through the hotel, this employee caught up with us and made a scandal because we did not pay for the mussels, which already turn out to be on our table.
The place is beautiful, but the service spoils everything.

During the 10 days of rest in the restaurant there were 3 times: filet mignon, pasta with seafood, signature salad (sooo delicious). The food is beyond praise, the waiters are helpful, polite, even if you are met on the street. But there is a huge BUT: we are sitting in a restaurant, the time is 21:10, Caucasian dances, children are performing. The eldest is no more than 14, the youngest is 11-12 years old. To our question, how can we get the answer that Abkhazia lives according to concepts, and not according to the law. In short, she burst into tears and jumped out of there...

I visited several times, the first in May, then at the end of June I visited a couple of times... The food is for three, for the first time they even brought a kebab made of sour minced meat... Half of the dishes were missing at the beginning of the season, they referred to the imminent update of the menu, but after 2 months I did not see it. The boat is very tolerable, but once in a while you don't have to, the guys don't get European cuisine at all.

In December 2023, we rested at the Amra Hotel and went to the restaurant every evening to drink beer. They came late, but they always served us well. All the dishes were fresh, the khachapuri tasted delicious, the beer was cold!!! We were served by different waiters, but always with a smile and very quickly. A beautiful place, excellent service and delicious food - this is all the Pier restaurant!

One of my favorite restaurants in Gagra. It is located on the territory of a hotel with an interesting history. The atmosphere of comfort, joy and desire to return) We visited many times and here is another reason to come- we rested on 28.09 Dinner is excellent, delicious. The waitress serving our table is the best))) All the staff are worthy of respect, they love their work and the guests are important to them. We had a doctor, the restaurant congratulated us with a cake with a lot of good wishes)
The design of the Pier is modern, comfortable furniture, beautiful setting. The terrace overlooking the sea and the beach is love for always)

The order itself is 30 minutes. the waiter managed to mix up all the dishes between the guests. When calculating, the receipt was incorrect, alcohol was added and a dish that we did not order. He admitted the mistake. Many people in the reviews write about local underage children who are sold alcohol, so we got to such a party, children of 17 years old under alcohol, behaved extremely dissolute and noisy, it was uncomfortable and unpleasant.
