Unambiguous 5 stars! We had a rest from July 15th to 21st. A suite, and one day, because of the early arrival of the Family. All rooms are clean, modern furniture, plumbing, TV, WiFi. Kettle, refrigerator, dishes, safe. Excellent location, right on the border of the reserve. Excellent service. Purity. Transfer to the hotel and back with an absolutely excellent driver in a good car. The maids clean everything perfectly, towels are changed regularly. We used the laundry service - everything is OK. I saw complaints about the rigidity of mattresses and nutrition in a review on another site. I will say this, as a doctor, mattresses should be like this) According to nutrition, it can be noted here that it is more with a dietary bias than a Caucasian one. However, there were also kebabs and pickles. Super eclairs or are they more like shu buns) In general, I ate with both cheeks))) my wife was annoying herself all the time) The menu includes pancakes, cheesecakes, meat, fish, various vegetables, salads. Bakery products. I will also note a very convenient meal schedule, it allowed you to swim quietly almost until sunset, as well as lunch allowed you to calmly plan the morning. The manager Tatiana is friendly and very pleasant. In general, the staff is adequate and friendly.
The hotel is well suited for families with children, a fairly quiet place, close to the beach, there is a small playground for children.
You can watch movies on the roof of the hotel in the evenings, but we never got to that point. We'll postpone it until next time)
During this time, electricity and water supply were cut off in Pitsunda a couple of times, we did not notice this, since the generator and its own well are working at 100%.
Are there any points that could be improved? Sure. For example, the WiFi in our room in the bedroom fell a little short, apparently due to the location, and sometimes got lost, while the other one worked perfectly in the room. But it's literally all at the level of quibbles. Well, just individual preferences, as in the case of food or the rigidity of mattresses, for example. So the hotel can get a well-deserved top score.
I definitely recommend you to visit. Considering that our vacation at the sea was short this year, it was very important to get excellent service and comfort, and not to make a mistake with the hotel. And I am very grateful to the hotel staff and its owners that I had no headache for a week, but only rest and the sea)

Our favorite hotel in Pitsunda, there is no better hotel there, suitable for those who appreciate a calm and quiet environment on vacation.
The hotel is well maintained and clean, both inside and out, the food is good, new dishes are served every day, delicious at home. The hotel can be called a family hotel, who appreciates peace and quiet on vacation, he returns there again and again. Ten minutes to the sea slowly, you can go to the beach where the Pitsunda resort complex is, snow-capped mountains are visible there in clear weather, the second is less picturesque, but sparsely populated and quiet.

A very nice family-run hotel. The location is excellent, close to the center, 700 meters from the sea, the hotel itself stands in a pine grove. Everything in the hotel is provided and thought out to the smallest detail. Decent three meals a day, there is Parking, a closed area, very pleasant staff. I recommend it!

A cool mini-hotel. The most worthy in Pitsunda. Excellent 3 meals a day in the hotel cafe. Stylish rooms, new furniture, bathroom, very clean. You can watch a movie on the roof in the evening, and sunbathe in the afternoon if desired. The hotel is located almost in a nature reserve. It's quiet, only the birds are singing. There is a Playground, a red cat (meikun, very friendly) - Richard, comfortable garden furniture on the territory, everything in flowers is well-groomed and pleasant. I recommend it! We have already rested there more than once. To the beach (wild) 15 minutes, slowly walk through the relict pines. There you can rent sun beds with umbrellas for a day, inexpensively. There are few people, the beach is wide, which is very attractive.

A wonderful hotel with a view of the forest! I received a lot of positive emotions from the friendliness of the hotel managers, the level of service, and responsiveness. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a view of the forest. From the hotel you can walk along the paths to the sea. There was a special atmosphere that allowed you to enjoy the silence, solitude, forest and sea air. The restaurant was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere. I especially want to mention the skill of the chef — each dish was cooked with love and looked appetizing. I tried several dishes, and they were all very tasty. We were from 3-10.07.24 for the first time in Abkhazia, for the first time in this hotel!!! We went on the recommendation of friends who had already vacationed there twice!!! We were pleasantly surprised how thoughtful and beautiful every corner of the hotel is! The rooms are very comfortable!!! A small hotel. 400m from the sea. But, I arrived as if at home. Everything you want is right there! And with warmth and care. These 400 m to the beach are adjacent through the nature reserve. There are huge pines of incredible beauty, the purest air, the beauty is indescribable!!! After 60 meters of the way, you begin to hear the sound of the sea and this sound enhances the impression of the meeting so much that it takes your breath away!!! Excellent service, not 5 stars, but everything is heading straight for it! There was not a single request to which I would have been answered "sorry, no." The food is very tasty and varied. Incredibly sociable and kind people are always around! Fondest memories of this hotel and its staff! I will come again with great pleasure

I didn't really want to write a review, because I felt cheated. But now we are going on vacation to Abkhazia again and this hotel is positioned with a rating of "five". They couldn't keep quiet. We rented apartments. The cost is about 20 t.p. per day with meals for three. For five days in August 2023. There are no complaints about the number. It's big, there's a kitchen, but... You cannot rent a room without power. The food was positioned as homemade, but... Vegetables passed from day to day. Cucumbers with mold, old tomatoes and peppers, for some reason every day there was a lonely plate with canned cucumbers
. Coffee in the morning could be obtained by standing in line. It had to be put out of a jar with an instant drink and poured with boiling water. Question to the hostess: "Why for 20 tr. per day I did not have the opportunity to press the button on the coffee machine?" Meals, without any buffet. Two hot ones and two soups. This option would suit us perfectly, but undercooked, undercooked, not at home. The kitchen staff arranged a conflict with a showdown for the entire dining room. The intestines made themselves felt on the second day, the next three days were overshadowed by the virus. The maid is very good, adequate. It looked like pumping out money, as the choice of hotels in Pitsunda is limited. We arrived after Krasnaya Polyana, where we lived in a five-star hotel for 16 tr. It was very disappointing that for 96 tr. in five days, there was a feeling that, sorry, we were fucked. It seems that the reviews here are not entirely honest.

We stayed at this Hotel for the second time, in the second half of June. And again, many thanks to the entire staff of the Hotel, headed by the administrator Tatiana. I will not repeat last year's praises. The changes that have taken place during this time have only improved the life of the Hotel. In our opinion, "according to the totality of articles", this Hotel is one of the best mini-hotels for families with children on the entire Black Sea coast of the Caucasus. A wonderful hotel! They were from 11/24/2022 to 11/29/2022. Everything is 5+, and the service, and the location, and the food. Clean, new, spacious rooms, a comfortable bathroom with high-quality plumbing, cleaning and changing towels every day. Varied and very tasty food, moreover, there is a choice for every taste, and if you need something individual, they will do it for you (an example with my husband, who does not eat meat in any form, even in the form of gravy, was almost individually prepared for him). A cool sauna in the hotel. Around the pine trees! You go to the sea along the path between them and get treated, physically and mentally. Beautiful and well-maintained territory. I think it's great with children, as there is a well-maintained playground and play areas. It was a pity to leave.

The hotel is simply excellent! Everything is clean, beautiful, equipped, made for convenience and a great holiday. The food is delicious, homemade! 7 minutes to the sea through the grove. It is 5 minutes to the central street. I can safely recommend this hotel and now I only go there if I have a vacation in Abkhazia!

I rented a Suite for two with a child (3.5 years old) for 10 days, the price is 220 000 rubles
I chose this hotel because of the location and 3 meals a day in the hope of not going to the shops and not buying anything.
About food:
Breakfast with very burnt porridge, no boiled eggs, the cheapest sugar yoghurts that can only be, and most importantly - INSTANT COFFEE in bags for 10 rubles., they can not drink freshly ground coffee, at least cooked in a vending machine, even for money. The bartender works only from lunch, he makes cappuccino from Turkish coffee, churns milk in a mixer, and the output is coffee with milk from a sachet :)
Their buffet is a basket of bread, always salty soup in a small slow cooker that constantly drops the lid with the nut right into the soup, I once dropped the lid tray and the nut that holds this tray, I told the barista about it and handed the tray over - he just said ok thanks, and continued to go about his business, and people just came up and took it, I hope no one got the nut...
It was all on the 1st day of stay.
On the second day of my stay, I asked instead of lunch to take lunch with me to the beach (they have such a service), asked only for sandwiches and boiled eggs more, received 2 containers. the very first egg that I started peeling was not just spoiled, but rotten, covered with mucus under the shell, I can't even imagine where and how long it lay, probably since last year, I've never seen this.
I informed the administrator Tatiana about this, she did not even apologize without emotion, said - oh, I probably got a cracked one. After that, it was already clear what the hotel was making money on and what kind of mess was going on in their kitchen.
Also, they do not give water to the room, water is sold for a fee 60p 0.5 bottle in the bar. There is nothing to drink for dinner except cheap tea, you need to buy it – just like in Europe.
From that moment on, they ate practically nothing except bread, fruit, and on the 6-7 day on Saturday, a man cooked a chicken kebab under my balcony, maybe the owner of the hotel, it smelled like fresh meat - lured, they ate from hunger, it seems they are still alive.
On the day when I went up to the Swedish Table for kebabs, my wife saw boiled potatoes from them, a day ago from the refrigerator, but you can eat, the most amazing thing is the next day when I went up to the bar for water, I saw potatoes but already Fried, and I Love fried potatoes and couldn't resist picking up a plate, I eat I feel something wrong, and it dawned on me - it was the remains of yesterday's boiled potatoes, only toasted... after 4-5 slices, there was a sledgehammer in my stomach, and the taste of fat, I ran to the room and ran away from the Hotel the next morning. 7 hours by car and how good it is at home :)
The location is good. A small garden with flowers. That's where the advantages end.
More about the cons.
The hotel is small, right next to the entrance to the Lux room where I lived, it seems to be the only one - A toilet door for staff and a laundry room, when the washing machines are dried at high speeds - The sofa vibrates, haha!!!
There is a Dining room above the Lux room, so you can always hear that the "Swedish Table"
is being served After 11 a.m., the remaining food is thrown out to 3 dogs who live next to the hotel in the forest, from strong champing and gnawing with echoes in the forest, the sound of crickets, it feels like you are in Jurassic Park. For sure, they distribute the remaining food among other tomorrow's dishes and season with a large amount of salt and other seasonings so that it does not stink.
The playground has been worn out for 2 years, few toys, nothing new (I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago for 2 nights, I was lucky, probably the hotel seemed normal)
The child did not eat anything in this hotel for all 7 days of his stay except food from supermarkets, probably prompted by an inner instinct of self-preservation.
The price for rooms with 3 meals a day is very high. All the staff needs to be dispersed. If the owners know what's going on in the kitchen, they're scammers.

I would especially like to thank Vladimir, the driver who "joined" the Hotel, who saved our transfer from the "Abkhazian flood on June 14"; Sergey, the chief foreman of the Hotel, who manages to maintain the technical support of the Hotel at the proper level for many years (special thanks to him for being born in June and a festive lunch was prepared for all guests); huge (the size of her signature belyashi) thanks to chef Svetlana for the delicious, homemade food (the Turks are resting). And a huge THANK YOU to the Hotel administrator, Tatiana, with whom it was possible to agree on everything, starting with the organization of the Hotel, ending with good weather (on June 14, everything resulted in 10 days of happiness) and the absence of mosquitoes. A wonderful hotel. The territory is well maintained, plants and flowers are everywhere. There are cozy garden swings, a gazebo, children's and sports grounds.. The food is homemade, hearty. Friendly staff. The rooms are cleaned every day. There is a relaxation area on the roof, and evening film screenings are also held there.

The perfect place for a family vacation! A new hotel, everything is thought out to the smallest detail! The lights are often turned off throughout Pitsunda, but PitsundaCat has its own generator, which other hotels don't have - and that's cool! And there is also a cinema on the roof - I have never seen such a thing anywhere, and believe me it is an unforgettable experience to watch a movie under the stars! I really liked all the staff and the attitude towards vacationers. Any questions are solved, they will always help and prompt. There are several beaches nearby to choose from, if you want to go to the bay without waves. The pine forest and the sea air are the perfect combination. You can see mountains or pine trees from the rooms. Closed area and Parking. There are many entertainment options for children and adults. Very clean and tidy, cleaning daily, although it is not required so often. Thanks to the hotel owner and staff for a great stay! I recommend.

I am so grateful to my daughter that she found this hotel out of many vague and uncomfortable options for Pitsunda. Not a very extensive territory, but with what taste and care each meter is decorated with exotic plants. Stylish spacious rooms, everything is decorated flawlessly. The food is beyond praise, delicious and very clean, and this is not everywhere in Abkhazia. The staff is friendly and smiling, you feel that Tatiana's team is selected qualitatively, every person is important and appreciated. Now I recommend this location to all my friends.

A lovely hotel in a wonderful location. Everyone has already said everything about the merits. I will write only a few disadvantages for business owners - so that they can improve an already good place:
a) it is necessary to nail felt to the legs of the chairs - the neighbors from above moved the chairs at midnight, which was accompanied by a very loud sound, woke us
up b) the tile floor is cold - I would offer guests a carpet.
c) a small heated pool for children is not enough for complete happiness.
d) confectionery products could still be of better quality
And so - thanks to the owners for a sincere place where you can really relax and eat delicious food.

Great hotel!!! In a beautiful place of Pitsunda. You go to the beach along a forest path. The birds are singing, the air is healing. The rooms are wonderful!!! There are all bath accessories, bathrobes, slippers are excellent. The room has a kettle, tea, water, refrigerator. The territory is not large, but VERY cozy and closed. The food is delicious, it is very convenient to relax with the children. There is a playground with toys.
The beach is 600 steps away. On the beach you can rent sun beds with zones, there are all kinds of cafes on the beach.
You will be met at the hotel by a VERY FRIENDLY HOSTESS TATIANA!!!

We had a rest at the PitSunda Cat Hotel in October. What do I want to say? An incomparably beautiful place - the location itself, nature and the hotel! The hotel is clean. I was immediately struck by the appearance, which resembles a castle in the forest. The friendly receptionist Tatiana immediately explained all the nuances and took her to the room. The room meets all European standards - slippers, bathrobes and even a screensaver on the TV all with the hotel's corporate logo. The room has everything for a comfortable stay - wide and comfortable beds, air conditioning, a TV, a soft sofa for hanging out, a refrigerator, a dressing room, a wardrobe, a hairdryer and even a safe. Regarding the food at the hotel, I would like to say especially gently and reverently - chefs are something special! Every breakfast, lunch or dinner pleased us with its delicious culinary masterpiece!! Whether it's pastries or meat, everything is cooked with great love and is very tasty and appetising served!!! The territory is well maintained and clean! There is a place for children and adults to spend time! The only drawback is that time flies fast and you need to return to the cold autumn... But I am a dreamer and I know one thing - dreams come true!!! A piece of my heart is left here... Which means I'll be back. 🫶🏻

Great hotel, stayed in July for 3 weeks. Meals with home cooking, a wide variety of dishes. Walking slowly to the sea, through a forest path, 10 minutes. The water is very clean. The prices for the hotel are comparable to those in Sochi, 16 rubles per night (I did not check in), although this is Abkhazia! It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the sea through a street with eateries.
I stayed at a campsite there. There is a shower, toilet and kitchen, but on 20 acres of land there were about 20 cars, the same number of tents and 50 people, I imagined camping a little differently, there is not enough freedom in this anthill! And since the territory is closed from 3 sides by a fence and is located in the forest, there is a complete absence of wind and this is at 30+ degrees of heat at night and with humidity under 100%. In general, I survived the night, woke up in the "bathhouse" and went to a hotel nearby, to the sea as well, the price is 2.5 times lower with breakfast.
This is my subjective opinion, perhaps someone is satisfied with living in Abkhazia for such money or steaming in a tent, but in my opinion camping should be in nature, and not behind a fence in a suburban area.

Great place!!! I recommend it to everyone!!! We were vacationing with a family of 4 people in a suite. The room is of the highest class, the kitchen is awesome, the bar is excellent, in the evenings there are cartoons for children on the roof, there is a small playground on the street, there are a lot of children, mine really liked it, it's a thrill to walk to the sea, cypress alley is within walking distance, we will definitely come again!!!

We are absolutely delighted!!!! A great hotel, every detail is thought out. Very cozy and stylish rooms, very tasty homemade food (although the choice of dishes is not very large), a beautiful and well-maintained territory with a playground and a small sports ground. The birds sing almost around the clock. The rooms were cleaned every day. Pitsunda Cat has a wonderful location, the hotel is located in a quiet place on the border with a pine forest, while 5 minutes on foot and you get to the Cypress Alley, where there are many cafes and shops, and if you go the other way, too, 5 minutes - to the street leading to the entrance of the defense industry shops :) It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the sea through the forest along the path. The beach in this place is also beyond praise. Special THANKS to the hotel staff!!!! Definitely an assessment 5+++++

This is our favorite hotel in Abkhazia! The atmosphere is like coming to the country to visit relatives. Closed territory, children can not be controlled, there is an excellent playground, board games and entertainment for all ages. The setting is very secluded, with one side of the hotel facing a pine forest.
They feed us for slaughter, we often do not go to lunch, because there is enough from breakfast to dinner))) the kitchen is homemade, very tasty, sometimes there are themed evenings.
The staff is very friendly, the service is at the European level (this is not a guest house). Good room cleaning.
Of the minuses, this is certainly not a very affordable price, alcohol and all drinks except tea are paid. Well, there is no pool. If it were there, this hotel would have no price!

Camping is in the parking lot, the territory is small, the tents are on top of each other. The parking attendant was drunk when we arrived and was sleeping in his van. We didn't like it either, for 1250 per night from a car and two people. It's 10 minutes to the sea, there's a nature reserve nearby, but it doesn't feel like privacy with nature because of the dozen cars next to your tent and a dozen other tents that stand close by. Pitsunda Cat is one of the best hotels I've been to. I would like to add that the geography of my travels is very diverse. What do you need on vacation? For me personally, no matter what worries me, a cozy atmosphere is a rest for body and soul. I got all this at this hotel. It's not big, but it's functional with a great organization, with the best employees, delicious, healthy cuisine, and a cultured audience. It was comfortable for me and my company of different ages to be here, treating us like best friends. I would like to express my deep gratitude to everyone who made our stay wonderful and unforgettable-Tatiana, the administrator, especially, she is a master of her craft and a wonderful person, responsive kitchen and bar staff for delicious and varied food and individual approach, the woman who cleaned the room, for quality work and cordiality. I also subscribe to all the positive reviews, you can list the advantages for a long time, but I will only say that all expectations from a vacation in this wonderful place have been fulfilled. Pitsunda is beautiful, if there is an opportunity to visit this wonderful spiritual city again, we will be happy to stay at the Pitsunda Cat hotel.

The owners of the hotel have raised the bar of service and everything else so much that all hotels fade - if you compare, it's very cool that there are 3 meals a day and it's great, you don't need it if you're steaming with a child and family, where to eat and feed, cafes are good, but quickly gets bored and everything else, travanushki" - It's a regular thing in the south, but here's homemade food. Food is an important point. The hotel itself is the same on otl, play areas, bike rental, garden, Windows overlook almost everything in the relic forest, the staff is smiling, friendly, always ready to solve your problem. I want to come there again.
