A wonderful, wide, sparsely populated beach! The water is clean, the shore is clean. Calm sea, near the embankment with benches, pine forest. Everything is quiet and peaceful. The boarding houses themselves are old and vacationers complained about everything in them.

The best coast of the Black Sea. Thanks to the underwater currents, the water of the Pitsunda beach is clean, the sea is always calmer in the bay itself than on the cape. The air from the relict Pitsunda pine is incredibly pleasant, it is impossible to breathe enough. Heaven on earth. There are many points of sale of products along the coastline of the military industrial complex Pitsunda, there are several cafes. I would note a cafe on the 15th floor of the third building of the military industrial complex Pitsunda and a cafe opposite the water park called Phoenix. The prices are normal, the food is excellent. There is a good market in Pitsunda itself, there are many cafes.

I put 5 on the beach, the sea is clean and calm.
But when I put on my underwater glasses, where a little deeper, a couple of meters from the shore, I didn't care: the entire water column was covered in white threads / bundles of clearly biological origin. I still didn't understand what it was - the remains of jellyfish, some kind of algae or the remains of sorry feces.
We swam where there were fewer people, at the Golden Fleece Hotel. There are no waves, but the current carries us towards the open sea.
Yes, most of the sunbeds are occupied with towels, there is no one, the owners did not come for a couple of hours.
And it would be nice to make a normal shower, what is offered is a jet from a hose.
The hotels are shabby and I wouldn't want to live there.

I was in Pitsunda in September 2023 . The beach is small pebbles. The water is very clean. However, to enter the water, it is advisable to use slippers ("crabs"), which are sold in a large assortment in local shops. I would like to have more trestles and umbrellas on the beach. Yes, there is a dangerous undercurrent in the area of the "tip" of Cape Pitsunda. It is forbidden to swim in this, as the relevant posters inform.

It's a great place! The purest water! There is a relict pine reserve nearby! Waves are rare. The perfect place for children! Sun loungers can be rented or bungalows can be rented. Great beach. there are a couple of things, the first is that the workers responsible for the sun beds collect them at exactly 18.00, although I need it until at least 19.00; three times - today I couldn't take the sunbed at 13.30 they are chained up, and there is no employee with a key, before that they were lying freely; the third is on the beach for the second day right along the edge of the sea branches and logs, today half of them were blown into the sea by the waves and they are hanging out in the waves, will someone remove them from the shore?

I really liked the beach, and even more than in Old Gagra. The water is turquoise, transparent as a tear. Huge territories. An embankment where you can walk. Relict forest.Lots of fun for kids. The entrance to the sea seemed a little more gentle than in Gagra, but at least the strip of Shallow Water is wider.
The children were most delighted when they saw dolphins, as they explained to us in Pitsunda in the morning they come close to the beach.

We had a rest in Pitsunda from 02 to 12 October. Mostly it was sunny and warm weather. At the beginning of the holiday, the sea was very warm, we swam. Then it got colder and the water cooled down. What to say about the beach... If you go to the beach along the cypress alley, then the entrance is paid. We did not walk along the forest paths. There are small pebbles on the shore, it is better to have slippers. The sea is very clean, the air is beautiful, as pine trees grow on the coast. There are few sunbeds and it's not in season. I can imagine what it was like there in the summer. The beach is not cleaned, there are no urns. There are urns on the pedestrian path along the sea and then there are few of them. From the sea side behind the Ferris wheel, everything was filled with empty bottles. I always think that it is clean where there is no litter. But we have vacationers... Toilets are located between the buildings of multi-storey hotels. It felt like they weren't cleaning up at all. It was scary to approach them because of the smell. In general, it felt like no one was working anywhere. One fine day they suddenly swept the path along the sea and cleaned the toilets. But the garbage remained lying along the path. There are many cafes along the pedestrian path, but we did not visit them.

Someone likes Turkey, but I like Pitsunda more. I have been coming here for 8 years (before the war I was also 5 years old), and I stay in one of the boarding houses. Impressions are extremely positive, the water is cleaner and warmer by a couple of degrees than in Sochi. The beach is a pebble. There are sun beds. There are toilets, although I don't use them much. The toilet in the room is quite enough. There are cafes and tents with water/fruit. The cafe cooks delicious, but there is more than enough food in the buffet dining room. Dogs in the boarding house sometimes live in a room with their owners, although not often and not very large. Each room has a separate sofa, mainly for children, although sometimes even adults live on it. Separately, I would like to note the beautiful nature, clean water and air, and the Abkhazians are very friendly and friendly.

Pitsunda is a cape. Which is 14 km out at sea. So, standing on the shore - you have already gone into the depths of the sea for 14 km. You can, of course, take a pleasure boat and sail 14 km to swim in the open sea.. The effect will be the same - a clean, warm, transparent sea. In addition, pine trees with 20-centimeter needles add additional phytoncides to the clean sea breeze. Therefore, we again chose Pitsunda for a family holiday. This year, the resort of Pitsunda was transformed by a brand new Ferris wheel, and of course we couldn't help but take a ride.... Everything is fine, it's a pity that there are not enough sunbeds for all vacationers!

We had a rest at the end of July this year. I really liked the beach itself and the purest sea. The beach is small and medium pebbles. There are deck chairs, but... they are being hunted. We were great without them. There are various cafes, retail outlets near the beach, you can enjoy delicious food. I really liked Pitsunda and the beach! But we were not very lucky - we stopped in Pitsunda on the way back from Lake Ritsa. The sea was stormy and it was impossible to swim . But we found a cafe by the beach , called Ali 's , where they cook amazing chebureks ! The best on the coast!!!

IMHO: There are places in Abkhazia that are much more convenient and pleasant.
