It's a very wonderful place. It's delicious and mentally like at home. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - only in the Surf!
The lamb was cooked for us in such a way that it has never tasted better.

I want to express my disappointment. We had a rest last year, 2023, and in September we constantly had lunch at this cafe. We arrived this year with a large company. 10 people. We brought our friends to lunch and got completely disappointed. We were struck by the sarcastic grins of the waitresses. I ordered a lamb shurpa. They brought me a broth with one large piece of fat. I asked to replace the dish for me, because I was told that they had nothing but fat. Then she asked me to bring a completely different dish. They brought me a dish and stood watching my reaction. Probably in retaliation, they brought me a very spicy dish. I couldn't eat it. I felt hurt. The staff was standing at the bar and the cooks in the kitchen stupidly started laughing. I'm generally shocked by this wildness. Then they made the music very loud so that we wouldn't hear them laughing. That's genuinely not pleasant. There were no other guests in the hall. I wonder how people earn money. I do not recommend it. Boors.

Instead of salmon, they slipped pink salmon, 700 rubles. for a skinny piece, which clearly did not contain the declared 200 grams. In the end, they did not confess, they proved that this is salmon (so dry and with a characteristic taste of pink salmon, well, well). They did not return it, they finished it, because they really wanted to eat. Caesar salad is just a disaster - instead of crackers, large soft pieces of bread, shrimps are the smallest dechman boiled tasteless, a mountain of cabbage - 550 rubles, yes.... A crowd of begging dogs, plus 10% to the menu for sooo unobtrusive service... The dishes on the grill are delicious, the territory is pretty, there are no questions, well, with such a price tag, it's like that everywhere. Well, the "cherry on the cake" - THERE is NO TOILET, go to a paid public nearby! I thought they were joking, but no, really...((

Terrible cafe, boorish staff! A shurpa of 380 rubles, in which there is one small piece of fatty mutton! Since 2023, the cafe has deteriorated very much, we planned to have lunch with the whole company, but alas! Starting with the girl behind the bar and the officer who is out of uniform!

They cook very well. Good waitresses. I would like to mention the dishes cooked on coals separately. The kebab maker here is just a wizard. Very tasty and tender lamb kebab. The chicken kebab is also very tasty. I also liked the hodgepodge and meat in Abkhazian, and I liked a lot more. As we accidentally went to this cafe on the second day of vacation, we ate in it all the time, and if we went on excursions very early in the morning, then in the evening we took food with us here, for example, a very tasty pizza "to take away".

We read the reviews and decided with my husband to visit this institution. I'll tell you in order. The location of the cafe is good - there is an outdoor area with a view of the sea, it is beautiful. A washbasin is installed on the street, which is undoubtedly a plus. We came, chose a table, sat down at it and... that's it, no one came up, we had to look for waiters and ask for the menu ourselves. Well, we are simple people, we chose and made an order. Among other things, fried suluguni cheese was listed on the menu. We love it very much, so we ordered it without hesitation. What was our disappointment when we tried it - it's like a sole and just too damn salty. We informed the waitress about this and asked her to remove it from the bill, because it was impossible to eat it. To which they received a refusal, which they argued that they had prepared it for us, so we had to pay for the dish. And in general it is normal, the cheese should be like that. Let me remind you once again that we often order this cheese in different establishments and we know for sure that it should not be like this. The waitress started to get annoyed, we didn't argue, asked Tara to take the leftovers with us. And attention, they brought us an ordinary plastic packing bag! At the same time, he was practically thrown on the table. After such a presentation, we just got up and left, leaving the food on the table. It is a pity that we have not heard about the customer service in this institution. Well, nothing, there are many other cafes on the embankment where the attitude towards customers is completely different. Therefore, we definitely do not recommend visiting this place.

The cafe is located near the beach area. The food is delicious, the staff is very polite, the waiters "run around", they always ask what they want to bring first of all to eat. The waiting time takes a little bit, 10-15 minutes. There is a separate place for washing hands. There is no toilet, it is located nearby on the same line, about 30 meters away. But be careful on the steps when you go down to the beach area. Repairs are required. I recommend the cafe

We took khachapur, smoked meat, chanakhi and eggplant salad - we liked all the dishes, without complaints.
2 stars for the fact that there is no service from the word at all, while by default 10% of the receipt is included in the bill.
I suppose, in the understanding of these guys, service is that food is brought to your table, and not you with a tray at the distribution as in the canteen.

A pleasant cozy cafe by the sea. Clean and delicious. There is free Wi-Fi. If it's cool in the evening, they give blankets. You can sit in the indoor hall or outside under the palm trees. I really liked the frying pan with mushrooms and beef tongue from the menu. It was very tasty. Caesar with shrimp was very surprised: half a cup of Peking cabbage, 1 tomato cream, cut into 4 parts, 5 shrimps not fully peeled, and a delicious sauce. A slice of the ordered loaf completed the still life))) The claim to originality !!!! Polite, pleasant waitress girls are happy to recommend dishes. Therefore, we recommend it!

I love the Surf for the music, coffee, hominy and prices.
I would like to ask the waitresses to come up more often. I had to wait a couple of times to ask for a bill, it was the summer of 2023. She didn't wait and went inside herself to be counted.
I want dessert with coffee... For example, something jelly, so that there are fewer calories. A cold cake?

We are vacationing in Abkhazia for the first time, it so happened that the SURF is within walking distance, I consider it a great LUCK and GOOD LUCK! Excellent location, musical accompaniment, palm tree is super, very cozy, sincere, service 10 points (THANKS to Alina) Price-quality ratio is the best in New Athos. Keep the SURF up! The kitchen is very tasty and homely. The first courses are very hearty, thick, and delicious. Secondly: I definitely recommend trout on coals, eggplant peppers with nuts, grilled vegetables with tkemali sauce, delicious dumplings. It's not long in Abkhazia, so we didn't have time to try all the dishes, next time we'll definitely have more fun. Thank you, SURF! More customers for you!

Wonderful cafe Surf! I disagree with the negative reviews, categorically! The waiters are polite, the service is fast, borscht, shish kebab, pizza, homemade wine were ordered for three.. serving 10-15 minutes. The owner of the cafe rents rooms, next to the sea. It turned out that we did not like the reservation in another place, we arrived late, it was already dark, we were kicked out, the money for the reservation was not refunded. At the Surf cafe we were warmly welcomed, accommodated, the rooms are clean, everything is decent, culturally. Special thanks to Inal and his mother Susanna!

Having explored almost all the establishments of the Athos coast, we chose this cafe. There is only one minus - no matter how much you order a barbecue, it is always fried and over-dried. But this is a common problem for all establishments in the city. Otherwise, it is a very pleasant place with reasonable prices for dishes. Strangely enough, we tried to give food in courses, for which special thanks! The waiter Amanda is a very pleasant girl who knows her business and always knows how to help a guest properly.

We went to dinner twice, sat outside with a view of the sea. The first time they waited for a waitress for 10 minutes, cooking for 40 minutes, the dishes were fresh and delicious, the dinner was spoiled by beggars: a sickly-looking cat (jumped on the parapet at the table on the street, turned his back to the table and raised his tail... The feeling is not pleasant, because the tables are close to the parapet), dogs, one of which also jumped on the parapet and fought with the cat for food at the next table (the neighbors decided to feed the cat). We had dinner for the second time before leaving, the dishes were brought quickly, the suspicion crept in that they were warmed up, but during conversations they brushed off suspicion, but in vain... The night was spent in eliminating the consequences of dinner, communicating with the toilet, fortunately we are doctors and the problems began before the pharmacy closed. The task is not easy, because the next day you will fly by plane for 3 hours.
I did not underestimate the rating much, because the cafe has potential: a good cook (delicious freshly prepared dishes) and a barbecue, on which the "barbecue" perfectly cooks meat, fish and vegetables.

A wonderful place, what a year we come here on vacation with friends (the third) - we are absolutely delighted. We went to the Ritz and waterfalls - we liked it, especially the Anakopia mountain. In general, we recommend it, the place is delicious. I tried khinkali at the Mandarin shopping center, they didn't stand next to these at all. There are delicious rolls in Adler (write in the comments, I'll tell you the address). Unfortunately, they didn't bring jgushos, but that's okay.

I really didn't like it in this place!!!!! Starting from the service and ending with the dishes that were brought to us, for the first time in my life I ate satsivi from the thigh of a chicken, but the point is not that there was a thigh, but that it was together with the skin and bones, and cold, the pleasure of the dish is 0!!!!!CAESAR!!!!!!!!! It's just a tin, we came there on the recommendation of the guys who rested next to us, they said that this salad is just delicious there, a portion is really for two..........it's really for two, it's just chopped Pikin cabbage (a bunch of cabbage) sprinkled with grated cheese, with three pieces of chicken (it looked more like chicken chips) and one, how could you put it like that? One cracker and the whole thing is under mayonnaise-garlic sauce, tin is simple, the third dish (I don't remember what it's called, pork, eggplant, pepper, some kind of frying pan), three pieces of fatty, stringy pork, with vegetables, filled with fatty slush, I ate this dish in a Pizza, in a completely different way we tried it, it was really delicious, and what was served in the Surf, in general, after visiting this place, I was left in shock, I do not recommend it, you can spoil your mood.

Very pleasant atmosphere and location, pleasant soft music. We had dinner twice, amazing sunset view. I liked everything that was ordered – khinkali, shish kebab, smoked meat, ajapsandal, stuffed peppers and eggplants! Delicious homemade bread.
I didn't like only the drinks, tangerine juice and some kind of lemon drink, some watery, especially lemon.
The service and the attitude towards the guests are good. The waiting time for dishes is more than reasonable, given that they start cooking after ordering.
In my opinion, a good price/quality ratio. I recommend it!
