I bought a bicycle bag on a chain for 315 lei. A week later, it jammed and had to leave the bike overnight in front of the office.
The next morning, I called Profmet at the phone number listed on their website. The person on the other end told ME TO COME WITH A BICYCLE BAG TO THEM at Petrikan 31 and they would consider the problem. Wait, I say, how am I going to come to you if I can't open this fucking bike lock? We don't know anything, they answer, we are in the house and we don't go to YOUR problems. And where will I get a bolt cutter in an office building? Oh, yes, you can just STRAIGHTEN the CHAIN LINK, they are not soldered and no bolt cutter is needed there.
I found two pairs of large pliers in the office building and really easily unbent the chain link.
It's an amazing thing. Not only did the lock fail, but the "designers" simply hid the easily detachable links in the case. At that moment, I didn't want to change the bike bag to the same one.
I got on my bike and drove to the Profmet office, which was literally a 15-minute drive away. There I talked with the staff of the first line of defense of the Trade Union. I couldn't talk to the mysterious Quality Department either by phone or in person.
It was pointed out to me quite sharply that: a) technology happens to fail and THERE is NO REASON TO MAKE a PROBLEM OUT OF IT, b) I don't have some expensive electric bike, c) what do you want at all? go to the Supraten, where you bought the castle and hand it over there by check.
What did I want?
So that a wizard in a blue helicopter would suddenly fly in and cut this lock, which I thought was strong and required a special tool to open.
And my office was just a stone's throw away, what if I had strapped on my bike somewhere in Old Orhei? Would the "support" service just laugh?
So that the employees of the Trade Union simply apologize for the marriage, the inconvenience caused and their crooked support organization, where the consumer is left alone with the problem created by their defective product.
We must pay tribute to the employee Daniel, who was the only one who behaved adequately, although he could not help in any way.
As a result, they just let me go with this [censored] lock, without even inviting a specialist from the so-called "Quality Department", I went to Supraten and returned the money.
