We really love this hotel. Great breakfasts, a good spa and pool area, a delicious restaurant, an interesting wine list, and a cool atmosphere. The furniture in the restaurant is a little tired, there are chairs with obvious damage, this can spoil your impression.

We lived in another hotel, we came here to the sauna and pool, it was very cool. Sun beds by the pool with a view of Kazbek. Very clean and cozy. Of the cons, there are no sauna hats and very expensive swimming shorts, 160 GEL, this is just too much.

We had a rest with our family, we came for three days. In 2017, we already visited this hotel, then everything went well, so the expectations were too high.
I'll start with a good one:
1. View. it is really beautiful, it is very pleasant to have breakfast, be in the lobby, spa and enjoy the mountains.
2. Breakfast and food in general. The hotel uses very high-quality and delicious products. The breakfasts are very varied, there is everything from jamon to blueberry pie, which is a huge plus. The lobby bar is also fine, there is a selection of national cuisine, they bring it pretty quickly.
That's where the advantages end.
Now for the cons and the reasons why I won't be returning to this hotel:
1. Audibility. The walls in the hotel are literally made of cardboard. While in the room, we could hear absolutely everything that was happening in the hallway and at our neighbors'. When companies of people walked past the room at 3 a.m., talking to the entire floor, you could literally hear their entire conversation.
2. The room itself and the facilities. The room itself is not very comfortable to live in, there are no cupboards, bathroom hooks, even a TV, there is nowhere to put things. The bed and pillows in the room were very uncomfortable, and we couldn't sleep properly the three nights we stayed at the hotel. Cleaning is also lame, we haven't changed towels in 3 days, but that's okay.
3. Plumbing in the room. There is clearly something wrong with the water settings in the hotel. It is simply impossible to bathe or wash. Hot, even hot water (literally boiling water) flows, then ice water, while they replace each other for 5 minutes. Because of this, it was simply impossible to wash my hair. There is also not a single step in the bathroom that separates the shower room. Therefore, after taking a shower, all the water refuses on the bathroom floor and it is impossible to stay there.
4. The hotel has absolutely no desire to leave pleasant memories with the guest. As I wrote earlier, we were already here in 2017, and nothing has changed since then. While most hotels try to install modern technology and create maximum convenience, rooms in this hotel are still locked with a key. ON THE KEY!!! Apart from creating amenities, there is simply nothing in the hotel that could make you happy. Many of the staff don't even smile, and I don't say anything about the lack of New Year's greetings.
The main problem of the hotel is that it does not want to work on itself. Many years ago, they became popular on the social network.and after that, they just gave up on their development. They simply build on what they have achieved before, forgetting that the world is constantly changing and new innovations and opportunities for improving recreation are emerging.
The emotions of the stay are very mixed, but we definitely won't be returning.

Well, from the beautiful, undoubtedly, the views from the hotel, cozy balconies, polite and friendly staff. The breakfast is beyond praise. And the dishes on the menu are very tasty.
The room is bright and cozy. But there is no closet, there are only bedside tables and a hanger with hooks at the entrance.
And here is a bathroom for three. Small, uncomfortable. There are only two hooks on which the robes hang. It is unclear where to hang the raw towels. The plumbing in the shower is worn out, there are problems with setting up the water.
Given the cheerfulness of the price tag, the flaws are too obvious. But) the view from the room overlaps everything

Russian Russian-speaking tourists go there, And the staff and management of the hotel clearly ignores this fact, while they have books in Russian in the library, but they were too lazy to make a version of the menu in Russian, and in general the staff, tired furniture and ill-mannered Europeans picking their noses are not They made me want to stay with them.
Russian Russian dinner, we left there for another small very warm hotel, where everyone was welcome, we did not speak Russian, but the smile of the staff and the menu in Russian created a feeling of warmth and comfort.
They have a view of the same mountain and a terrace.
I am very disappointed with the arrogance of this hotel! But Georgia is wonderful, delicious and delicious!

There is a beautiful atmosphere around, but when you start interacting with the interior, you immediately realize that everything is made of fairly cheap materials, the furniture is already very outdated and has outlived its usefulness, the wood creaks, and the finish falls off.
A separate horror is THE MOST DISGUSTING SOUND INSULATION. You can literally hear every movement of the surrounding guests in other rooms, even conversations in whispers.
The rooms are made as if for the "stay for one night" format, because even in the suite there is not only a closet, but even a rail, there is simply no place to hang things)))
A special torment is taps and plumbing, the water temperature in which it turns out to be adjusted precisely not the first time, the quest "get burned or take an ice shower".
I did not notice a biased attitude towards Russian citizens. Not all staff knows Russian, but those who do, calmly switch to it and help.

5 stars, no doubt, but you have to pay extra for every little thing (even a bottle of water). And the cost of the hotel is far from cheap. Nice atmosphere, terrace, swimming pool, territory. You can ride ATVs. It is a long road from Tbilisi to Kazbegi and there may be traffic jams - the journey may take 5 hours (this was the case with us). The rooms are great, the view is great, the staff is pleasant, the cuisine is wonderful and the selection of dishes is great!

We stayed at this hotel in August 2024. He was chosen because of the presence of a dog (first of all). As I understand it, this is the best hotel in Kazbegi (Stepansminda).
The hotel is generally not bad. I was a little surprised by the concept of the rooms.
There are no TVs or cupboards anywhere. If you didn't come for 2 days, then you just want to unpack your suitcase,
The shower cabin also caused inconvenience. It has no glass or curtain, and because of this, the whole bathroom is full of splashes and water.
And now for a pleasant one. A huge terrace overlooking Kazbek is something! A fascinating sight!!
The wooden terrace, which gives a special identity.
Very good breakfasts. Just whatever you want!
Although the same restaurant for lunch and dinner is quite mediocre, albeit very expensive.
Not a bad SPA. It's expensive, but if desired, you can do massage and facial care.
The gym is not big, but I did not see a crowd there, besides, there is an exit to the terrace and you can practice on a mat on it.
There is a sauna and a warm swimming pool. Also quite pleasant.
Not very high-quality cleaning. Towels were changed whenever they wanted and often small ones were put instead of large ones.
The Marriott chain has now bought the hotel. I think they will partially adjust the hotel to their standards.

We had a double room for 20k+ a day with a view of the forest. Despite the fact that the view was not on Kazbek, it was still quite picturesque. Of the advantages, this is probably all.
And now the rest of the impressions - they begin immediately upon entering the territory. Apparently, the hotel was full, because there were no parking spaces at all. We drove back and forth several times on the terrible asphalt in an area where the pits were knee-deep, we only managed to stick very tightly between other cars, so it was difficult to even get out.
Usually, hotels of this level have staff who can help with parking, show places, etc. There is no such thing here.
At the reception we paid for the room, they gave us the keys, told us what time breakfast was and that was it. No other information about what options the hotel has. Well, OK, we thought maybe there was some information in the room. (Looking ahead, there is no information about anything).
Then the room: it was larger than the standard, stylish.
But I was already tired enough: there were no handles at the closet, the parquet board was all swollen in the shower area, the sink was clogged.
There was someone else's hair in the toilet.
By the way, there is no door in the sink and shower area. Thank you for at least having a toilet)
Pleasant and delicious-smelling cosmetics (shampoo, gel, creams, etc.), no bathrobes.
As already mentioned, it is quite dark in the room when all the lighting is turned on.
We arrived in the evening with the expectation of having dinner at the hotel restaurant (we chose the hotel, including for the sake of the restaurant), we were refused, the hostess said that everything was booked, but you can sit in the lobby. We were in the lobby at that moment, and people were sitting there almost on the floor. That is, there were no seats there either.
We were not offered any option to sit on the terrace, although it was free there, nor, in extreme cases, room service, nor to try to look for an empty seat for some other time, the girl just left. We didn't have a goal to sit there all evening, we just wanted to eat.
As a result, I had to go down to the road, where all the main restaurants are, and have lunch there. The road there to the descent / ascent is also not a fountain. Very cool and fucked up. I had to take a taxi back to the hotel (because it was impossible to walk back in the dark and after dinner) for GEL 27 for 3 minutes on the trip 😅
The breakfast is generally decent, despite the small Swedish line, there is almost everything: fish, croissants, khachapuri, fruits, champagne, etc.)
But after breakfast, another disappointment awaited. When booking a hotel for 23 thousand, you naively think that a visit to the pool is already included in the price. On the spot, it turned out that there was no. It is necessary to pay GEL 80 for the whole day. But I didn't want to spend the whole day, I wanted to swim for half an hour after breakfast and take a couple of photos on Instagram)) but there is no such option there either.
Why not just talk about it at the reception when checking in, maybe we would have planned our stay there differently. And so an hour before the eviction, they offer to pay for the pool for the whole day, well, thank you)
As a result, what we were going for (a view restaurant and spa) could not be visited. It turns out that they spent such money just for a huge bed.

Comrades, what I want to say is, if this is the first hotel in your life with the number 4, then it may impress you incorrectly and only because of the view of Kazbeki and panoramic glazing, BUT I will say my opinion:
1. the price is overestimated by 2 times, no 20,000₽ is out of the question, well, a maximum of 10

3. The numbers are really bad and outdated, old-fashioned keys)) this is a separate song, carrying a bandura in your pocket instead of a card is not ice.
4. The road to the hotel, plus the road to the hotel on site, is just terrible and broken.
6. The spa area has one name, a small pool on the ground floor and two sauna cabins similar to booths.
5. The breakfasts are the most common that can be in a 3-4 star hotel, you can put 5 out of 10.
6. The hotel stands still in all plans from renovation (roads, rooms and attitude to guests)
After returning from the hotel on the radisson-collection-tsinandali road, I realized that I had wasted money in this hotel. I know that I won't be coming to this hotel anymore. And reading the laudatory reviews about this hotel, it seems that people have never been to hotels that should cost 20,000rubles before, although I repeat this hotel costs well, a maximum of 10 and that's not a fact.
They will also do repairs when you eat and enjoy the view of Kazbeki))

A great place to stay for a couple of days. The view from the room to Kazbegi is amazing. For breakfast, you will find a buffet with delicious food and you can take coffee with cinnamon. There is also a spa area where you can have a great time and even sunbathe. It's a good place.

This hotel has no loyalty at all!
I understand perfectly well and have seen the information about the non-refundable reservation.
But....
Unfortunately, there were life circumstances in which I could not visit the hotel. I cancelled my reservation in advance. And unfortunately, the hotel did not go to the meeting to refund at least a partial payment for the stay.
And this is almost 24 thousand rubles per day.
Yes, the hotel suffered some losses due to the fact that I did not check in.
But also, in turn, the hotel will not spend resources on my accommodation.
And I think it was possible to go to a meeting and return at least 30-40% of the cost of living.

In general, I liked the hotel, the view is gorgeous, the interior is very lamp-like and cozy! We rented the largest room on the third floor - there was not enough entourage, as in other rooms (there are no paintings and interior items) . In general, everything is fine - except for the service in the restaurant. The waiters are not very friendly, they constantly forgot to bring something, then ice, then bread, then a dish. If not for the service , I would have put a solid 5 , and so probably 4 points ! But it's definitely worth visiting here! But the management should work on the service :)

Great view from the rooms.
The rooms are without sophistication in the loft style, but everything is there, however, there are really very few outlets.
We had breakfast included, for a buffet breakfast.
The bed is large and comfortable.
My son was given an extra cot-a comfortable bed.
The room had everything:
slippers, shampoo, shower gel, towels, kettle, cups, delicious tea bags, coffee and sugar portions.
I fell in love with the armchair and the view from the balcony, so I would have sat there.
The staff is polite, understands and speaks Russian and English.
The location is good near the center, but not on the road, so we slept in silence.

The hotel is controversial. Yes, the lobby inside is beautiful and modern. The view of the mountains is beautiful. But if you go up to the church opposite the hotel, the view is even better. And there is a small church behind the hotel. The view is great there too. But what I didn't like about the hotel was that there were heavy keys instead of cards. The door must be constantly opened and closed with a key. From the outside, the hotel looks like a barn. There was no TV in my room. Well, it's time to update the wooden parts inside. The gym is very small. There is not enough equipment for classes. But the kitchen is a delight. I ordered borscht, steak and dessert. Borscht is gorgeous. The steak is brilliant. The dessert is wonderful. Yes, this hotel is the best, I do not argue. And if I go there again, I will live only in it

I visited this hotel in September 2024, the hotel is considered the best in this region, but I think maybe it was before, now it's a complete failure in many ways.
- we checked in in the evening, the hotel was full, we sat down at the restaurant on the ground floor, there were not enough waiters, half of the dishes were forgotten, half were confused, we waited for a very long time.
- the room was overlooking the courtyard, there is no sound insulation at all, you can hear everything. There is a catastrophic lack of light, everything is like at dusk.
- the hotel itself is already very shabby inside.
- the most unpleasant thing was that the staff at the reception were absolutely not friendly, it surprised us very much, compared to the whole of Georgia.
- the road in front of the hotel is all broken up, it's not even clear how you can keep everything like this.
In general, definitely, I do not recommend it and I will not go a second time myself. Perhaps others had different feelings.

We had a great time here for two days during the New Year holidays, then we were in Gori, Borjomi, Mtskheta, Tbilisi. Georgia is beautiful!
We arrived in the evening, and this hotel has a gorgeous view of the peaks of Kazbeg at night, and even during the day-delight. The hotel welcomed us with a beautiful living room, with a live Christmas tree, candles were burning everywhere.
The hotel has excellent rooms, comfortable beds, a very varied breakfast, good cuisine in a separate restaurant, a wonderful SPA complex. Russian Russian. The staff is friendly, they speak English, but then they switch to Russian if you ask for it, although many people don't seem to really know Russian, while there were many Russians, there were also French, and the Georgians themselves, it seems this hotel is among the favorites.

Among the disadvantages, some of the staff pretends (exactly pretends) that they do not speak Russian, and do not seek to invite their Russian-speaking colleagues. There are quite a lot of tourists from Russia, while there is no menu in Russian.

The hotel is of very low quality, it does not pull more than 3 stars, the price is clearly an overprice. It is surprising that no one writes about the "amazing" view of the cemetery to the right of the building (or rather, directly behind the fence) from all rooms above the 1st floor. Expensive suites and executive rooms are especially "lucky" - there is a maximum view of the cemetery due to the angular location of the rooms and terraces. The room is dead, plumbing and floors are literally crumbling in your hands. It's very noisy, the ventilation doesn't work at all, the room is stuffy as hell, and you can't really open the window, because everyone is smoking endlessly and the "incomparable smell" goes straight into the room. There was zero noise insulation, and I had to resolve the issue with the staff about the neighbors yelling in the next room until one o'clock in the morning. They don't speak Russian ostentatiously. There's really no Georgian food in the restaurant, just some kind of pseudo-European hat. For the sake of this, it is not worth 3 hours of shaking along the rapid serpentine from Tbilisi. Uncomfortable and unnecessarily expensive. I won't advise anyone, and I won't come back.

The rooms are very cozy, but it's a little dark for me. There is a balcony and everything you need. It's all clear. We used the swimming pool and sauna. I also liked everything, but it's a pity that the Jacuzzi didn't work (the breakfasts are excellent, everything is delicious and everything is fresh. Homemade yogurt is generally delicious. Polite and caring staff. And, of course, the location is at the foot of Kazbek, at the highest point relative to other buildings. There is a pine forest nearby.

An incomparable place in terms of both location and concept. I read the negative comments of other guests and wondered how it was possible to remain dissatisfied with something in such a magical place and atmosphere. Especially because someone (hypothetically) forbids someone to speak Russian. In the end, the owner of this hotel has the right to do so and probably took into account the risks associated with the fact that there will be fewer Russian-speaking guests (I did not notice anything like this related to Russian-speaking guests). There is also a Ukrainian flag in the lobby - was that supposed to upset someone too? Personally, I don't care who has what political beliefs, as long as it doesn't affect communication and interaction in any way in everyday life. The interior design is very stylish, the perfect fit under the mountain landscape, the breakfasts are incomparable, the service is unobtrusive and very courteous. Yes, there are nuances with sound insulation, but it did not spoil my impressions of the visit at all. Will I come back again? More than once. Thank you very much for such a hotel. Prosperity!

It's a beautiful place. Breakfast buffet, a wide variety. There is a separate restaurant - they cook very tasty. There is a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi. The rooms are comfortable, but there is no TV (for me this is not a minus). The audibility is good (the sound insulation is not very good).
