We had a rest in May 2024. The hotel is normal, but NOT 5*. Restaurant: the food is not very diverse, fish, chicken, meat, vegetables, fruits (watermelon, pears, apples). Sweets for 4 cups are baklava , cakes are solid semolina. Animation 👎. In the evenings there was Karaoke, Turkish night with belly dancing, Mr. Hotel, Men against Women, Foam party, children's program - yes, everything was...but after 15 min.music in Turkish...And no disco. In the neighboring hotels, people were relaxing and having fun...and we went to the center for a walk...By the way, the center of Kemer is not far away.There are good shops. There are branded ones. And there are bazaars too, everything is cheaper there. Near the port, Mac'Donalds, Starbucks.This is not the first time in Kemer- and this hotel is the most creepy of those where we have been. The leading animator conducted all the evenings well, but turned out to be a boor when they asked me to turn on Russian music and sent me on a trip...there are large pebbles on the beach, even in sneakers it is not very convenient to walk. The sea is good. The sun too👍

A terrible place. The service is at the lowest level. "Cleaning" is done only in the format: make the bed and add a roll of toilet paper. Surfaces and floors are not wiped, bed linen is not changed. Carpets in the corridors are vacuumed every other day, which is why they are always in crumbs. Dishes in bars and restaurants are always dirty. The air conditioner is barely working, there is nothing to breathe in the room. The buffet is meager and monotonous from day to day. The receptionists at the reception answer any question with "What can I do?"

I want to tell you my impressions about my stay at the Rox Royal Hotel, which claims 5 stars, but in fact a weak 3. We arrived at the hotel at night, went to the reception. The receptionist came out and provided us with a "room" on the ground floor. No one took us to the room itself, he just gave us the keys and told us the room number. We searched for a long time where it was, asking the hotel staff along the way, who also had no idea where the room was. As it turned out, the room was in the basement, at the end of a long corridor on the first floor (down the stairs, this room is located there, and we were tired from the road carrying our suitcases ourselves, also up the stairs, there is no elevator to this floor). In front of the entrance to the room there was all the trash and garbage of the hotel, as well as all the equipment of the room cleaner, namely a cart, buckets, rags, pot, cigarette butts, used gloves, etc. Photos will be attached. The room itself, if it could be called a five-star hotel room, was in a disgusting state: it was dirty, the bed linen and towels were dirty, the curtains were stained, possibly with blood. The room stank of damp, the floors were dirty. There were no bathroom accessories in the bathroom, which must necessarily be in the room at the entrance, there was no shampoo, soap, etc. In addition, the door to the balcony was faulty, it would not close. It was simply dangerous to stay in such a room!! We asked the hotel receptionist to replace the room, which was refused. The administrator of the hotel said that if we wanted a normal room, then we had to come during the day, not at night (despite the fact that we wanted to, but the flight was delayed, and this is not our fault). He also stated that we had to book a place at the hotel in advance, that the hotel is now overcrowded and there are no normal rooms. Although we booked the seats back in March 2024!!!! At the same time, the administrator of the five-star hotel said that it was our own fault that we chose a "poor" room, and also called us poor tourists. When booking, we chose the "double bed standard room", and settled us in a room with three beds. While stating that this "room" is the "double bed standard room". We did not check into the room and asked Izet to give us another one, but he did not want to contact us in any way, saying that he would never give us another room. Thus, until 11 o'clock in the afternoon (we arrived at the hotel at 2 a.m.), we sat at the reception, and at the same time watched the tourists leave, which means other rooms were vacated. We again asked Izet to provide us with another number from among those who were released, but again and again we received a categorical refusal!! To solve this problem, it was necessary to wait for the hotel guide "ANEX" and the hotel administrator. But it was necessary to wait until 9-10 o'clock in the afternoon. After waiting for the hotel guide, when we told where we were accommodated, the guide himself said that this was not a residential room and it should not have been given to tourists. After the intervention of the ANEX guide, we were moved to the third floor at 11 p.m. Thus, from 2-30 am to 11 am we sat at the hotel reception!! The rest of the staff and the chief receptionist are also not very customer-oriented, because they just discounted the fact that we did not really understand the administration, saying it was our own fault, there was a misunderstanding. We experienced a lot of stress due to the indifference and indifference of the administrator of the Internet. We spent so much time on the road, tired and just arrived at the hotel, where we hoped to relax, gain strength and have a great time on vacation. We lost a lot of time, energy and nerves. I want to say that this is not the first time I have rested in hotels in Turkey, I visit here almost every year, but this is the first time I have encountered such a situation! To say that I'm in shock is not to say anything!!! By the way, the new room we checked into was certainly better than the previous one, but it was not particularly clean either. On the subject of food: the buffet is quite good, but finding a clean plate is a challenge, as is finding a place on the beach, and by the pool is a whole task. It's high time to refresh the hotel, the renovation is suffering here, and the staff should take lessons in politeness. It has long been necessary to repair not only the rooms, but also the hotel itself as a whole, it looks tired to put it mildly, in some areas of the hotel itself it smells of sewage, which is impossible to be nearby. The air conditioning in the room also does not work, as well as the safe. Since we have been here for more than 6 days, we are given the opportunity to go to the restaurant at the hotel, which is located on the beach, for free 1 time. There was a choice of Italian, fish and something else, I don't remember. So they came at the time as indicated on the invitation. We waited a long time for the first course - pasta. Then, after a while, they brought mashed potatoes with steak (wooden) and finally dessert. It turned out to be an absolutely not satisfying dinner. We regretted that we decided to go to this restaurant instead of having dinner at the hotel. The impressions of the hotel were very bad, I do not advise you to rest here, you will only spend money in vain!

I do not recommend taking excursions from hotel guides at all, it is 2 times cheaper in the city (we personally made sure)

We rested at the hotel from 03.09 to 10.09.2023. Family - two adults and a child of 5 years. When purchasing the tour, we were honestly told that it was a budget five. In fact, four. So it is. Therefore, we did not have disappointed expectations. Judging by the price level at the moment, we can say that the price-quality corresponds.
In general, it's fine, our family liked everything.
Of the advantages:
+ no rotoviruses
+ the restaurant is clean (no flies, plates and forks shine)
+ there are no complaints about food (meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, fruits, pastries) super simple!!! For every taste. Those who are waiting for lamb on a spit or tuna - you are not here, of course.
+ absolutely magnificent sea, warm, calm, transparent at any depth.
Of the minuses:
- there are a lot of people, crowds of people. If you come to the beginning of breakfast / lunch / dinner - there is a chance that you will be trampled.
- there are no air conditioners in the hotel at all. In the elevator while going from the first floor to the fourth - you can lose consciousness. but! It is worth noting that we had a comfort room (they have a beautiful wooden door on the outside) and the air conditioning in it worked perfectly. The room was always cool.
- it is difficult to find a place on the beach after 8:30. You need to come right early to take a chaise longue.
* we had a Fit Holiday tour operator! We bought an excursion to the fenikuler (Takhtaly Mountain) from the hotel guide. Divorce for money! The info that the guide gave about the tour is not true this time. The guide is just a boy who knows nothing but the name of the mountain we are going to. I answered all the tourists ' questions: why are you asking me questions, just look out the window and admire the houses, leaves, trees. $ 60 per person, this tour is definitely not worth it! But this is a lyrical digression that has nothing to do with the hotel.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel from 11.05 to 21.05, we were satisfied with the hotel, the staff is trying, the food is delicious, there were squid, mussels, shrimp and red fish several times. Animation is also trying very hard , well done) the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed too, the mini bar was replenished every day. There is a large selection of alcohol in the bars. In general, I liked the rest, thanks to Rox Royal, but whoever goes to look for cons will definitely find them))
The hotel is old, it has not been renovated for a long time. The cleaning of the rooms is bad, it feels like they don't clean the room at all, make the bed and take away the garbage. This completes the entire cleaning.
The food is delicious, but not varied and the choice is not so great.

the weather was good all days, sometimes even 28-29 degrees, you can swim in the sea, you just need to get used to it for a minute after sunset) entering the sea on pebbles and quite steep, it hurts your legs. But by the end of the rest you adapt) the sea is clean.
The pools are also good, by the way, there weren't many people, it's still not the season yet. The water park was open, the pool bars were open too, ice cream was at the water park at certain hours.
The location of the hotel is good, you can walk to the marina, shops, migros, Waikiki. Everywhere you can pay in dollars, change in lira.
The food at the hotel is the biggest minus (( when you go to Turkey, delicious, lots and varied dishes are one of the main criteria for a good holiday. There is a small selection of food here, the same thing is repeated almost every day. Сейчас отдыхаем с семьёй 4 человека, мы с Урала по еде 5 (мест пока хватает всем сегодня 18.06.23 людей прибавилось), море 5 (лежаков тоже хватает, хотя пляж не большой), персонал 5, анимация 5, номер 3, но есть и на 4 (сразу обратите внимание на кондиционер, запах и балконную дверь может не закрываться). По номерам и площади на 5 не тянет, по еде и обслуживанию твёрдая 5. Есть огромный минус курят мясные везде и при детях, в ресторане, на шоу
Эх, хочу ещё. Хороший отель, прекрасное питание в 2021-2023 г. Неплохой пляж. Удобная локация, есть куда пойти гулять за территорию. Дискотека отдельностоящая. Чудесный бассейн с горами. Анимация на 3ку
Отдыхаем с ребёнком 4 года. Все отлично 👍. Еда разнообразная, на любой вкус. Всего много, чисто. Красиво, программа развлечений для взрослых и детей разнообразная. Достойный отель. Приедем ещё раз.

Like all the reviews written above, I confirm that this is a solid 4, but definitely not 5 stars, as stated by the hotel. We rested here in the middle of July, during the very season of settlement of all guests. Because of this, there was a problem with providing rooms to guests.
Initially, at the reception we were offered to check into a room under the amphitheater, which does not even have windows. In a word, a barn that is signed as a "Garden room", which is NOT a standard (although the woman at the reception tried to prove to us that this is also a standard and they can move in there, although there is not even such a room on the hotel's website in the photo).
After half an hour of swearing at the reception desk, we were offered to spend the night in this room with separate beds (we checked in with the groom as a couple) and the next day move into a normal room in the hotel itself. They did not lie, the next day they provided a nice room with a view of the mountains, and also provided wine and fruits and a bed for one day near the sea as compensation.
This situation spoiled the first impressions of the holiday, it was a shame to tears that they were doing this to us. Even for an additional fee, they refused to provide a standard room, since there were many more guests than available rooms (big questions to the hotel on this score).
In this closet under the beds (which we asked to move 3 times and no one responded to the request!!) we found two dead cockroaches, a faulty shower, large cracks in the shower stall, used probes from the hotel and many other problems.
Of the other disadvantages: terrible stuffiness in the lobby, dining room, elevator, ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE. Periodic interruptions of light, electricity, lack of hot water, not very high-quality room cleaning (only garbage was removed and bed linen and towels were changed, no more).
Among the advantages: good food in the dining room (a lot of variety, but sometimes it was not clear what was mixed in the trays), wonderful animators (very friendly Russian girls and guys from Turkey who speak English fluently), friendly bartenders, a variety of alcohol, good air conditioning in the room (apparently we were so lucky, because in other reviews are different), a lot of different entertainment for adults and children, very clean sea, large hotel area, close location to the center and all clubs, very good hammam (even did a free medical consultation after the massage).
It's more or less okay to go here once, but we definitely won't return to this hotel next time.

Отличный отель, много вкусной еды, номера убирают каждый день, смена полотенец ежедневно, везде чисто, постоянно убирают, пляж не на первой линии но до него идти 3 минуты, анимация хорошая, рядом центр Камера, все развлечения, парки, магазины рынок 2 рааа в неделю, все очень дешево

Отель Rox Royal 5. Отдыхали с 27 августа по 8 сентября. Вылет с Самары днем 27 августа, прилетели к ужину, забрали в 3 ночи обратно 8 сентября, очень не удобные вылеты, дни проплачены, а по факту потеряны 2 дня. Авиакомпания azur air, (посадки мягкие😊). Поселили нас на 5 этаж, бакшиш 5 долларов, чемодан нам помогли донести, отблагодарили 2 дол., заселились в номер, номер хороший, чисто всё, вид на море, ноооооо кондиционер не работает вообще, дует, как вентилятор, и тут на два дня затенулись переговоры о смене номера, потому что спать невозможно, на улице было ночью прохладнее, чем номере, я и приходила на ресепшен с подушкой, на что работник ресепшен, мне сказал, да спи тут, мне всё равно, и это отель 5 звезд. Уже почти на повышенных тонах начали требовать смену номера, вызвали менеджера, и нам пообщели поменять. В итоге на следующий день все таки сменили на прекрасный номер 4052, на 4 эт, где отлично работает кондиционер, оказалось, что это номер комфорт, тут мы ожили, охладились наконец то., и начался нормальный отдых. В отели очень навязывают услуги хамам, хвалят массаж, ну думаю ладно схожу, в итоге нуууу погладил меня, вообщем не о чем за 35 дол. Навязывают съездить в магазин меха, посмотрите говорят и у едите, по факту туда приезжаешь, тебя так обрабатывают, без покупки невозможно выйти, если вы не планируете, что то покупать (меха, кожу) лучше не ездите. Супруг подарил мне шубку, качество отличное, но торгуйтесь. Далее заказывали фотосессия у Алёны фотограф, вот это очень понравилось советую! Одна фото стоила 3,5 дол, но оплата имейте ввиду только долларами и наличными(что не оч удобно), но фотки супер! ). Море чистецшие, бухта, без волн, есть пирс,. Бассейны, горки, все, как полагается. Анимация хорошая, есть мини клуб для детей, моя дочь ходила нравилось. Питание и мясо, и курица, и рыба форель и ещё какая то, овощи, фрукты, в принципе достаточно всего, но хотелось бы разнообразия, за 11 дней надоедает одно и тоже), отель неплохой, но кондиционеры это беда, не вернусь точно, пока не сделаю кондиционеры, считаю нам повезло, что поменяли номер. А так не знаю, как выживать в Турции без кондиционера. Ах, да уборка ежедневно была, уб ирались отлично, смена белья, супер!
